Nikki closes her door after she watches Alex walk down the hall deep in thought. 'I wonder what he's think about.' She asked her self as she leaned against her closed door and fully absorbed her new room for the next few years.


Nikki stands there lost in thought for a while before she finally leans off her door and looks around the privacy curtain in between the beds. No stuff is laid on that side of the room so her roommate must not be here yet. Nikki sighs and goes and starts unpacking her items and clothes. She refolds all her clothes and puts them in the dresser next to her bed. Nikki lays her sketch pad ontop of the dresser next to her box of jewelry that she hardly ever wore. But she brought it just in case. Getting bored of organizing and cleaning up her mess, Nikki opens up the window to let in fresh air. She leans on the windowsill and looks up at the sky. She sees birds flying over head and she remembers Sonyc, her barn owl. Nikki turns around and pulls her radio out of her bag and plugs it up along with the speakers. She sets it all up on her dresser and puts in the "party rock" cd. "Party rock" was sonyc's favorite song to dance to. Nikki put the song on repeat and grabbed her sketch pad and started to draw a pic of Sonyc dancing on her radio, which is a sight she used to see often. Nikki here's something outside the window and turns to look out it. Perched on the window sill is Sonyc, dancing along to the beat to the music. Nikki laughs with joy and sticks out her arm for Sonyc to get on her shoulder. Sonyc jumps and perches on Nikki's shoulder. Nikki strokes Sonyc and talks to her happy to see her owl. Feeling joyous and happy Nikki grabs her canvas stand and a canvas and some paints and hands her paintbrushes to Sonyc, who clutches them in her beak. Leaving her mess behind, Nikki and Sonyc go down the hall and come across Alex in a room with someone. Nikki drops in to say hi. 
Nikki walks up to Alex as he stands the doorway of someone's room.


"Hey!" She says with a large smile on her face, clearly she forgot just how nervous she was around him just an hour ago.

Maru walked towards the schools gates and watched the two people who just finished conversing Maru decided to ignore them and walked pasted the gate toward the entrance to the school Maru then looked around for someone who looked important who could direct Maru towards the headmistress or whoever or wherever Maru is supposed to be or supposed to be seeing but he guessed no one would approach him for a while because people normally find Maru appearance rather unsettling.

 

[Leon Heart]

Sweat fell down Leon's forehead as he took yet another swing at the air. Gunblade in hand, his black leather gloves gripped the hilt of the blade firmly and confidently. He had always viewed his weapon as an extension of himself just as many other swordsmen did. Each breath was exhaled with each droplet of sweat that fell to the floor. Making a quick turn after a hard slice downwards, he held out his hand and faced it toward one of the training dummies set up near the targets. His hand felt warm as a hot sensation flowed from his toes up through his torso and finally to his finger tips. Just as the energy made its way throughout his palm, a burst of flame flew towards the target. Since the dummy was designed to take plenty of damage, it simply bobbed back and forth with a small scorch mark on the torso. His chest lightly heaved in and out, his eyes focused on the target as he continued to hold his hand out. When he was satisfied with his work, he slowly lowered his arm and closed his eyes to regain his center. He stood up straight from his tensed position and sheathed his sword through the loop made for it in his belt. He sighed, figuring that he had worked off most of the excitement that had been built up inside of him. He hopped on his toes a little bit before making his way over to the door where he had put his bag down. He lightly wiped the sweat from his forehead, moving his bangs aside as he did so and reached down for his bag. He lifted it up from the medium length straps and exited the room, closing the door behind him slowly until it made a soft click.


"Well, this looks promising", he muttered to himself as he turned around and looked down the hallway that led to the classroom. A few steps forward and he found himself standing infront of a wall with another map plastered on it.


"I should be right about here". His finger was resting on the room shaped similar to the combative classroom. That same finger gently ran over to the left until it came to rest on a grouping of rooms that appeared to be labeled for the instructors. Accepting his conclusion, he turned on his heel and made his way down the hall. Holding his leather brown bag over his shoulder as he was often accustomed to, he came to a large door with a sign posted on the front, indicating that these were where the instructors could find their rooms. He slowly opened the door, peaking his head inside and looking around with soft blue eyes. He didn't say a thing, walking in silently and closing the door behind him. He walked slowly down the slender hallway, looking left and right for his name plastered on the door of his room. Sure enough, he came to a light brown colored door with a gold-plated placard spelling the name "Leon Heart". This is where he would be spending the next year. He opened the door and looked around inside. It was comfortable and with some of his own things it would feel like home to him. A bed posted in the corner with a window just to the left of it. He walked over to the window, leaning over the desk that was posted infront of it. He pushed the blinds to the side and looked outside at the gorgeous grounds down below. He searched for the outdoor teaching area that he had heard about but didn't know what he was looking for. Convinced he couldn't find it, he turned from the window and looked at the closet that was built into the wall. He opened the oak door and poked his head inside. A pretty roomy closet with a fresh smell of paint inside caused a small smirk to come across his lips. He placed his bag inside for now and closed the door behind him. In no time, he plopped himself down on the bed with his hands folded behind his head. He looked up at the ceiling and allowed his heavy eyes to close for a small power nap.

Skyler smiled nervously. " h-hello... I'm skyler heart, pleased to m-meet you .. " she sorta stepped back. "We were headed to his dorm then out for artwork. Care to join?" She tried not to be shy and awkward, so she silently waited for someone to say anything or change topics.

Maru decided that since no one would help he would take matters into his own hands and aimlessly wander around to try and find the headmistress or the combative classroom after a few minutes of walking around the school Maru comes across the combative classroom by sheer luck then he entered the classroom noticing that the door was already unlocked he then takes a few steps into the classroom and noticed that no one is their so he decided to wait again he walked towards a chair in the room sat down on the chair and shutted his eye he hoped that someone would enter the room and wake him so they could tell him who he is supposed to see about a room key and a lesson timetable.

Alex smiled at the two girls. " 'ello Nikki! You are juzt in time! Do you vant to come vith uz to put my thingz avay and go paint outzide?" He asked, tilting his head so light blue hair shifted to almost cover his left eye.

 

[The Velveteen Rabbit]

Seeing that the headmistress was busy, Mia slid past the grand entrance and began striding around inside. She twirled around slightly as she tried to take in all the detail of the academy, a breathless 'Wow' escaping her soft pink lips. Suddenly, she squealed and let out a laugh as if someone had told her a joke.


"This year is going to be amazing! I can't wait for my classes to start, all the people I'm going to meet..." She began rambling on and on to herself about all the exciting experiences she was going to have. Suddenly stopping, she let out a long sigh and flashed a few students a sweet smile as they passed by. They smiled back at her warmness, and Mia grinned with excitement before skipping off to meet new people.


The blonde beauty wandered down the hall, turning around a corner and bumping straight into a girl with red hair and shining green eyes.


"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! Are you okay? I'm afraid I wasn't watching where I was going." Mia exclaimed in a thick English accent, her beautiful purple and orange infused eyes filling with worry as if she had badly hurt the girl.

Nikki happily accepts Alex and the girls invitation as she gives Alex a light hug shifting so as to not bother Sonyc on her shoulder. So who are you? Nikki asks the girl as she turns to her and Sonyc makes a soft hoot sound as though to ask the question also.

"Im Skyler.... Skyler Heart. This is Talon my pet." She pats talons head gently and moves abit. She gripped tighter to the book in her hand.

The red haired girl glitched badly when she was suddenly run in to, causing her to drop her suitcases. Again. She really needs to get this thing under some kind of control... She looked up, hearing an apology as she bent down to grab the handles once more. "Oh... I'm fine... Sorry. I should pay more attention to where I'm going..." She murmured, shrugging slightly.


Alexandru


Alex couldn't believe his luck. He'd only been here for maybe an hour at most and he'd already made two new friends! Now they were meeting and could become friends themselves! Then they could be three friends instead of Alex having two friends! He looked back and forth between Nikki and Skyler, grinning widely. "Ve should ztart a club!"

"Sounds fun." She smiled happily upon making a new friend. "What would it be for?" Noticing she'd only been here a while she had made two unexpected friends.

Nikki excitedly agrees with Alex and starts brain storming ideas. "Hmm... Do you guys like books, or video games?" She asked, just throwing stuff out in the air to get ideas flowing.

"Hm... I like video games nature animals and art." She stated as she had begun thinking, maybe we should use natural because it means be yourself and show other what you're made of-- Hm no.. She had looked up at them.

"I like animals, obviously." Nikki says with a smile as she slightly raises her shoulder that Sonyc is one with a smile. "I also like art." She say as se gestures to her art items in her hands. "And... Books and video games, and... Music." Nikki say, running out of ideas. She turns to Alex waiting for him to say what he thinks.

"Cool. " She said while thinking 'Serene special? NO.' she then turns to Alex."Any ideas?" She looked at talon, then to the owl, then at them. She adjusts her stance as though it would help her focus and have confidence.

Alex grins. "Alrighty then! 'ow about an art club? Or an animal rightz club? Ooh! 'ow about an animal art club?!" He asked excitedly, smiling and rocking back and forth on his heels, hands clasped behind his back.

"Yeah! Animal art! Sounds like a great idea." She smiled as talon barked. "I love it! Oh yeah we were supposed to be finding your dorm room!" She grabbed one of Alex's bags and walked out of her room.

"That sounds like a great idea!" Nikki exclaims excitedly as she looks at Alex with enthusiasm. Nikki then remembers that she's supposed to be helping them take his stuff to his dorm. Nikki grabs another one of Alex's bags and walks out the door following skyler out the door and into the hall.

Skyler giggles lightly. "So let's find it and we can talk on the way? " she spun around quickly, and excitedly holding his bag in her hand and looking at Nikki and Alex. "Oh and Nikki I'm really sorry about bumping into you earlier."

"Oh that was you? I didn't realize, it's okay." Nikki says, accepting skylers apology. "Alright Alex, which way do we go?" Nikki ask Alex as she turns around towards him when they come across two seperats halls.

Alex took what remained of his luggage and lead his new friends in the general direction of the boys' dorms. "I am fairly sure it iz thiz vay!" He replied, almost dancing down the hall. This was going to be a great year!

Skyler laughed and followed Alex down to the general direction. "So if we start a club maybe we should discuss this with the headmistress.. Later after we finish the plan." She looked at the numbers on the doors until they come to the correct one.

Nikki grins at how happy Alex looks, almost dancing down the halls he looks goofy as his blue hair bounces up and down. Nikki decides to dance/walk with Alex and she goes up there next to him, skipping along. Nikki doesn't remember the last tike she was this happy or if she was this happy at all at one point and time.

The blue haired boy laughs joyfully. "Yez! Ve vill dizcuzz vith 'eadmiztrezz later! Now! Ve danze!"

Nikki realized that they have arrived at Alex's room when every one else stops. Nikki stops skipping and stands still next to Alex as she hums along to a song that she has stuck in her head.
