Realistic or Modern A Touch Of Color (Redo)

solicitude

I'm the king of trash.
You're world. Imagine it. All in black and white. It has been this way since you were born. Imagine never being able to see a different color other than the same boring shades of black and white. Like an old film. One day though, you knew things would change. You were destined for it. You were going to find your soul mate. It is told that once you find them your world will become bright and colorful. Finally being able to see each shade of color perfectly. It was only a matter of finding whom your soulmate was.

Simon walked among the shore of the Atlantic Beach. It was located in Raleigh: The capital city of North Carolina. He sat down on the shore and let his feet soak in the water. He was told by friends who had already found their soulmate that the ocean was a clear blue color. He tried to imagine it in his head. He imagined it more of a pink color for some reason. Why? He didn't know. He dug his feet under the sand. He imagined everything in pastel or bright colors. He knew it certainly was not going to be like that. But he liked to imagine it that way. The boy had dropped out of school a while back. He now just does his thing. He always ends up changing jobs. He used to work at McDonald's but was fired for eating during work. Oh well.

Akamai was surfing off Atlantic Beach. He wished he knew what color the ocean was. His parents told him long ago the first time he'd ever been to the beach that it was blue. But since he himself hadn't found true love, he personally didn't know. For some reason, he thought it was a greenish color. Then again, he thought a lot of things were. He thought that was because he was told once his aura was a green color. But who knows.

He decided to come to shore for something to eat. He passed by a guy with dark-but-blond-streaked hair and feet in the sand.

Asher was playing his acoustic on the beach, some girls gathered around him watching him play, His long blonde hair was pulled back into a sort of half-pony to keep it out of his face in the ocean breeze though the ends were still blowing around a bit, He wondered what color the sand was, the ocean, Everything.

He was playing an acoustic version of Strange Comfort by The Color Morale

Simon had saw the boy walking past. He grinned a little at him. He walked up to him and held out a hand, with a slight smile. "Heya, cutie." He said casually. And yet he wondered why no one took an interest in him. Jeez Simon take a break. Sheesh.

Putting up her caramel brown locks into a messy bun, not that Dani actually knew what brown looked like, she heard the vibrating of her phone on the counter by the sink in the bathroom.

Are you almost here yet? :c I miss you!

texting her friend back, she looked in the mirror, her parents told her, her bathing suit was blue and green, yet she didn't even know what that meant, all she saw was different shades of black and white. Shrugging it off, she went and found a long grayish looking shirt and toss it on along with some shorts.

Leaving her apartment, she made sure to lock her doors, Dani heard on the news the night before about break ins.

No one is getting in there.

Before she knew it, she was at the beach after a long but not so long car ride. Having the hot sun beaming down on her, she brought her arms across her chest. "Where is she?" she asked herself.

Oh...About that. I already left. I think I found my soulmate. <3 <3

Can't believe she ditch me. Actually I kind of can.

Her friend did this to her all the time, Dani never understood why she fell for it every time! Blowing up at her hair, she figured since she was already here, she should enjoy the nice day. Finding her favorite place at the beach, she brought herself on top of the ridged rock and looked around her. From this spot she was able to watch everyone.

Taking off her shirt, she left on her shorts, and tossed it down on the sand along with her satchel. Dani brought her knees up to her face and wrapped her arms around them. She wonder if she ever would be able to see colors.

//Poor forever alone Asher xD

Asher smiled as he stood and stopped playing, the girls aww'd sadly and wandered away from him, He noticed a couple of guys exchanging conversation, an...emo and a surfer, Interesting.

He kicked off his shoes and pulled up his pants to wander over and stick his feet in the water, letting out a squeak as it was colder than he expected

@Anyone~

Stretching her legs out, Dani tuck a loose strand of hair back into the messy bun. The hot sun, started to form mini beads of sweat on her body. "It's so hot!" she exclaimed while dropping from the rock. Placing her satchel and shirt more nicely next to the rock, she then took off her denim shorts. Letting her mermaid scale tattoo be more noticeable. Looking over she noticed two people in conversation (@Bea). Bringing herself back up onto two feet, she covered her mouth in embarrassment. "I'm am, so, so sorry!" she told him while wading her way towards him.

"The name's Simon! " He said, gazing at him. He may have been the one. But anyone could have been the one. He just made sure he'd be able to talk to everyone on Earth. Then he'll certainly find his. But what if he didn't have one. Everyone was supposed to have one though... He doubted himself. He sighed and smiled. For now he'd just focus on what was important. And now was important. He was sure of it.

Asher attempted to duck away from the splash but failed, he was now soaked. He grumbled a bit as he took his hair out of the hair tie and squeezed it out as he looked at the girl "I-It's alright" he said quietly, Not that angry; It was an accident after all. It was actually kind of funny to watch. "Is your foot alright?" he asked with a look of concern

"Nice to meet you."

Akamai smiled, then paused in thought. Gathering his courage, he posed a quiet but audible question.

"I was getting ready to go get something to eat. Would you like to join me?"

It was the most he'd said to anyone in a long time. He felt...relieved? No, happy he had. After all, if this was the one...he just had to chance it.

"Do you like seafood? I know a great seafood place within walking distance of here."

He was still quiet, but now he was starting to raise his voice towards normal volume. In the short time they'd been talking, Akamai was already used to Simon's company. He hoped this was a sign that Simon was the one.

Amakai led the way to Brad's Fish and Chips (named after an actual restaurant), asked for a table for two, and ordered a Dr. Pepper from the waitress who asked for drinks. Looking back at Simon, he wondered what to talk about. He tried to think of questions to ask. Anything he thought of would be awkward, so he just chose one and hoped for the best.

"So...do you have any pets?"

Simon ordered a coke. He then looked over at Amakai. "Yeah, I have a bunny." He looked up awkwardly. "Happen to have a soulmate yet?"

"No...I was actually...kind of hoping...you were."

Amakai looked into Simon's eyes, then faltered in slight shyness; laying a hand awkwardly on the opposite upper arm before realizing how stupid it probably looks and playing it off as a scratch.

Simon blushed lightly and chuckled awkwardly. Then for a second he could have sworn he saw a hint of color but when he blinked again it was gone. "Y-You think so?"

Taking the strands of her hair that had fell out of her bun, Dani tuck it behind her ear. "My foot? That's fine. But my dignity that's out the door," she hesitantly stated. She brought her foot up out of the water to examine it. Apparently she did more damage than what she thought. A gash was open wide on her right side of her left foot. Watching the blood drip off of it into the water. Just a little slip of foot and she was injured. Why was she such a clutz? "Good thing we aren't too far in the water, huh?" She joked. Nervously trying to laugh it off, she was now able to feel the pain since she now knew the cut was there.
