Perhaps if Aemond and Cayden get friendly with eachother (which i see no reason why they wouldnt they are pretty similar people and have shared experiences and tastes.) then they could scheme against their love rivals.

One problem with that is where will she go? If she goes to Ib there is Zero way off the island. She would have no one with sailing experience in her retuine since Cayden would not follow her there and the Shadow King is not likely to let her leave. In Dorne there will be expectations of her even if Cayden were to negotiate with Bravos and lead the war effort.

Bruh Vance just stated she would be free to travel when not absolutely needed. This is a marriage of two houses, essentially, not love. He really has no need to keep her around at all times.

Daenna has her own ship that is loyal to her and she has sailing experience. Plus, it's already been agreed upon that she will be able to leave. Who said she is leaving Ibben anyway? She could break down and run while still in Pentos.

All this is only if she doesn't just run away.

Aemond is the Ex-Commander of the Windblown, that might of been before Caydens time as a sellsword but Aemond has strong ties with the Sellswords in the disputed lands especially the Windblown and the Company of the Cat.

Doesn't change the attitude of the Dornish. They will not allow the king of Ib rule them or have a say in their government. Dorne made a pact with the dragon on their own terms, even after several wars marriage brought them in on the terms Dornish law would reign in dorne. Why would they surrender to dwarves with about as many men as one great house.

Plus Desgran will likely be dead before she manages to take the throne and the Ibbenese will have little to do with Westeros outside of the terms of the alliance. And If Daenna manages to become queen she will be sure to repay Dorne for any help that they gave her.

Without a doubt Cayden would have to become ruler of Dorne to do so. But even then there is only so much he can say. How wpuld they repaid in such a worth while way to allow foreign invaders tell them anything? She will be married, what can she offer?

Dorne doesn't really have a lot. As queen of the Iron throne, she could give them a LOT.

It's pretty much the promise of pay when it's readily available. Something that people do all the time, though many still are wary of such offers, and for good reason. You can't really be sure you'll get anything at all.

Without a doubt Cayden would have to become ruler of Dorne to do so. But even then there is only so much he can say. How wpuld they repaid in such a worth while way to allow foreign invaders tell them anything? She will be married, what can she offer?

When she becomes Queen she can make a Dornish her personal adviser, likely Cayden or one of his sisters. This way they have influence within the decision's that is made. This way they don't feel as powerless. And when Desgran dies she can marry Cayden and by making him king of Westeros while he rules Dorne she will give Dorne a larger seat of power.

That might work... depending on the seat. Their lack of rich resource land has always inhibited their growth. Cinsidering house Bartheons has rebelled, unless they bend the knee they may ask for storms end. It would more then double the size of thier small nation. Whatever land offered to them would have to be significant enough the it would benefit dorne for generation to cone
