Never said he was showing off, I said his skill makes and impact on those watching and that their is a good possibility of him being teamed up against to deal with his superior skill which may also happen to Cayden depending but Roland is the better warrior and his fight with the dog was worth talking about considering he took that fight after ROFL stomping 5 guys. Cayden showed he is highly skillful, but Roland still probably drew a lot of attention as well. Likely they both risk getting teamed for being mystery knights who just thrashed a small collection of Knights. I just feel Roland might get it worse

Well I won't deny, Cayden fighting Trevir Arryan (and maybe beating him) would certainly get him the recognition he wants considering hes a well known skilled warrior if slightly below the pet lions the Lannisters keep and Roland has a fairly good chance of winning and theirs still the individual melees and as you mentioned, the banter would be good. So I can't say I would mind to much considering it would be a fight to see since their pretty evenly skilled and both high level fighters.


So if you want go ahead, mission accomplished for Cayden if you do

In terms of pure skill, meh, Cayden and Trevir are probably about even with each other. But that brings up the same problem that Cayden will constantly be dealing with, his equipment isn't suited in the slightest for fighting knights.


So I'd give Trevir the edge due to equipment. I'd say Trevir is more skilled too, but the character is only 18 so hes basically just an inexperienced Roland with slightly less skill, technique and percision that's quicker on his feet, and could also knock Roland into the dirt in a joust 9/10 times, the 1 Roland wins being some kind of fluke of course. Trevir will get there on foot some day.... If he lives through the war to come.

I think its 99/100 times is fair for Roland against him in a Joust, though Trevir would destroy Cayden in a joust on foot in a melee their are plenty of factors for him to use to even the odds. Now if only Cayden could find a enough V-Steel to make a spear head by killing someone he may actually be considered a high level threat perhaps even to someone like Roland since armor wont be a problem, but good luck to Cayden to find V-Steel so luckily

That sounds like a decent comparison.

That's a little like saying 'Now if only Trevir could find a dragon to ride around on. Then he'd be able to solo everyone else.' Cayden's never going to get his hands on Valryrian Steel. Ever. Unless he nicks Nagito's sword, somehow.

Nagito is not the only V-Steel sword you know, hes not likely gonna get it other then probably killing a player character or glavanting into Valyria and coming out alive he has an option or two

lol you know Cayden is quite fast and is used to dealing with people trying to grab his spear so he wouldn't just let it be grabbed, though if it did that would probably be how it goes or Cayden would drop the spear and run for the hills
