He was the same person. It's just that I didn't realise that he already had a name when I named him.
Yeah, that was fine but it would be different if a similar thing happened with a character someone had fleshed out slightly more, I know not everyone reads everyone's posts so we could end up running around with two characters that are supposed to be the same in the future.

I try to read all the Westeros posts, I don't have anything to do with Essos yet so I stay out of it.

There are sellsword companies running around in places and no they're not exclusively in Essos, Tiber Lannister had been hiring some to work for him I believe, and since war seems to be looming a lot of people would currently be hiring.
Tiber's picked up pretty much any one willing to be hired from peace time due to his higher rates and earlier recruitment. There's a very sizable sellsword auxiliary as part of the Westerland's forces currently.

I will just be making Florents that will be closely involved with my Hightowers so they will still be technically open, just starting with a strong ally.
How strong?...

Lancelot said:
Just Florents married to Hightowers, also I won't be making a full CS for them (Unless I have to.)
Ah, yes.

Hypnos said:
No its fine, I just want to keep as many Houses open as possible for new players, I also think we might (Me included) need to stop establishing so many NPC Lords to avoid another situation like Lord Redwyne where he ends up as two different people.
Good Point.

How strong?

If Hightowers rally their sworn houses they can raise up to 13300 men.

They are also said to be close to Lannisters in wealth if not the same.

I will say though, will the massive war starting, it'll be hard to not at least list the leaders of a lot of the minor houses, especially during war meetings with all the commanders. I hope that doesn't confine new players to customize their houses in the future, but to me it seems inevitable for at least saying "my character sees Lords so and so and so and so at the command tent along with other forces of Home region before the battle."

Yeah, not really (In this RP at least), they don't have entire mountain ranges full of gold. They might be rich, but certainly not Lannister Rich. I was talking about the bond between Hightower and Florent, but thank you for the heads up.

Well thats because their wealth doesn't come from gold lol.

Also the Lord and heir are married to Florents.

(Keeping the Garderner Line strong.)

Still, a little hard to match (or close) wealth with a family whose largest resources is literally the mineral used as currency in society xD .

Ah, very strong indeed. Something to consider for the future I suppose.

I was just stating what has been said and described.

If we believe that then it is true however some people theorise that the Reach is actually a lot weaker than people believe.

Oh damn I forgot to say in Georges canon, the Lannisters in this RP will wealthier if that is what you are saying.

Names are fine if you're just mentioning them in passing, I was more referring to the fleshing out of these NPC Lords as @HuorSpinks wanted to do, I'm not guiltless myself in this as I've been using Lord Bracken as an NPC as you have with Lord Brax but I think it is something we shouldn't be doing more of in the future as it may stop new players from taking up Houses.

The Lannisters are richer in this canon because they absorbed Castamere and are technically the two richest houses combined, who is richer in canon is debatable.

Yup, direct control over not only Casterly Rock but also Castamere (the only place in the Westerlands that could nearly match Casterly Rock's veins). No more of the taxing nonsense to get more gold, the Lannisters will just have their servants dig it out at little cost to themselves. Very, very wealthy are the Lannisters in this RP.

Also @Hypnos I honestly just described the man as dim witted and portly, but didn't do much after with him. I get what you're saying though, I'll do my best to refrain from doing such in the future as well.

Which now also makes me realise that I should have taken House Redwyne right from the start, especially since Fordee was already doing the Tyrells.

Wasted opportunity xD

Live and learn my friend, live and learn :)

-puts House Redwyne on bucket list-

Next ASoIaF roleplay that comes along, I'll take the Redwynes. Provided House Stark is already taken. House Stark had always been my favourite house.

Well, I mean you can still take House Stark. Current lord's old and just recovering from summer disease so if you make an heir...

Oh well, we are both filthy rich anyway so it doesn't really matter

Of course they are because the Starks are awesome.
