Fantasy A league of nations.

Sinbad listened to the requests of the other three leaders. Although he could not see any downsides to them he consulted Ja'far as per usual when it came to politics. Ja'far whispered to Hinahoho who nodded and tapped his coral spear. Ja'far nodded to Sinbad and Sinbad thought it over for a while. "Sindria does have a strong navy, but it comes from the quality of each individual and not our numbers. The military in each of your countries alone outnumbers the whole population of Sindria. These eight fine men and women behind me here are of the highest quality, rivaling even me in power. Sad as it may be they are also almost the entire power of my nation. So while I do not have much in terms of an army to lend I possess eight powerhouses that are more than happy to join you in aid of defeating our enemies. So I can lend you each two of my generals, and plenty of gold. As well as many magical items that Yamraiha has laying around." Sinbad paused before continuing. "If the coral you are talking about is anything like the coral harvested by the Imuchakk then we will gladly trade for it. And lastly, what is worrying me the most." He took a deep breath. "It seems like you three only have an interest in protecting your current nations. However, if we cripple these nations then they will only rise up and do it again in the future. If we destroy these threats and distribute the land between ourselves we can prevent the threat and secure the safety for our nations."

"The colonization of these nations seems to be the smartest plan." Jason spoke. "Although do you mean wipe the nations clean or just rid them of their rulers. who's to say they wont revolt against us in the future. You all know what happened to Yolma the last time they tried to colonized." Jason remembered the stories of Yolma from when his father was lecturing him about ruling, along with the dos and do not's. "Yolma was a nation in the southern region of the continent, what is Devlin, Wendat, and part of Heligdom today. They tried to colonize the continent which only lead to revolts and the eventual end to the Nation of Yolma." We could always integrate some of my men into the cities and towns. My rangers are excellent at blending in. With a little tweaking to their training we could use them as an undercover militia of sorts."

"How much land is there total and how shall we divided it? Evenly or by some other means?" Alec asked. He wasn't sure of this plan, due to the history of his people and how they, a non-military nation were so quick to up rise against their oppressors. "Also does anyone know of Akeldmas Alligence? Devlin shares quite an expansive border with them."

Estre spoke up. "Andor has no interest in land to the south, so you may split the ;and between the thre of yourselves. Our colonization efforts are towards the north, where there is less civilization. Addressing Sindria's lack of numbers, I have around 3 legions of soldiers who are trained and ready to be deployed wherever i command." She pulled out a map of their continent, laying it across the table. "If i can send my fleet here," she said, pointing to the ocean south of Delvin, ",the Somalians will be unable to move their forces into Wendat. I'll send one of my legions to guard both the borders of Wendat and Delvin- I believe that should suffice. The Heligs have fought my forces before and lost- they shouldnt be able to get into your lands."

She sat back, thinking for a minute before speaking again. "Here is what i propose: I can lead an offense into Heligdom itself. My chariots will cut a tear in their defenses, and easily overwhelm any opposition. But if I'm leading my forces in the mainland, i will be unable to direct my fleet. If you would allow it, i would like to give Sinbad temporary command of my fleet docked in Kalina, Andor's capitol."

"While that sounds like a good plan, what's to stop Angmon from taking the opportunity and pushing you into a three front war?" Sinbad sat back, thinking for a moment. "Akeldma has been very dormant these past years, probably some internal affairs." Masrur then spoke up. "I understand it is not my place, but hear me out. You do not have to colonize the other countries. Simply make them a Protectorate of our League of Nations. So they can only trade with us, but they can have free rule of all domestic affairs and if they do anything fishy we bring the hammer down."

"That sounds like a far safer plan for the future stability of the nations. Do you think we should still insert people into the general public, or possible one person in each government? They could act as our eyes and ears. Or do you believe would should step back completely?" Jason questioned. Masrurs idea seemed to be the best way to go, allowing for future safety and maximum benefit for them.

"Wait? League of Nations?" Alec questioned. "I like it, wish i had thought of it. But I agree with Masrur, Estre how do you feel?

Estre sat quietly, thinking over the options. Colonizing would increase the strength of her allies, but it could cause rebellion and destruction. Masrur seemed to have the best idea. "I agree with Masrur. This should lower the chances of both rebellion, and lust for power. I support making them Protectorate states," she answered, sitting up. "I can provide a policing force, if you would like, for when we successfully invade their lands. That way, we could keep an eye on the citizens, and ensure peace."

"We would need some sort of influence inside the nation to quell any rebellion before it starts. But a strict police force may be too much, perhaps just have the captains of each city be representatives from us. I can have Ja'far work out a contract by the morning. Unless there is anything else we would like to talk about while we are here?" Sinbad said, sitting forward and resting his chin on his fists."

"What about the nation above Heligdom? It's name escapes me. Wendat scouts have noticed increasing activity in that region. The once soly underground dwellers have now broken the surface. And their numbers are far beyond what we had once estimated." Jason said. Sitting back in his chair.

"Should we extend the metaphorical olive branch in hopes of peace? Or do you believe their proximity and isolation around Heligdom to be to great if an influence?" Alec spoke. He'd be lying if he said the nations vast numbers didn't worry him.

Estre interjected at this point. "My scouts managed to make it near their capitol city. They reported that the earth dwellers are very "hive-like". I wouldn't expect a sign of friendship to be received when they could easily wage a war against us along. Sometimes, numbers can beat the quality of a soldier" she said. "I would suggest extending the hand of friendship, but don't be surprised if they slap it away. With great power comes great pride- something Andor has learned the hard way."

She sat back staring at the map of nations, and began picturing her armies moving across the land. If she left a legion to defend her homeland from Angmon, and sent half a legion to patrol the borders of Wendat and Delvin, that would leave her with 1,500 soldiers to attack Heligdom, as well as her navy. Once they invade Heligdom, Somalia would be next. But she had to account for a threat from the Earth-dwellers, which threw a wrench in her plans.

"So, we have agreed on forming an alliance based on trade and military protection. As well as attempting to make peace with the earth-dwellers, and Akeldma. Lastly we will create protectorates of the enemy nations. While on that matter when we have our militaries combined shall we wipe out Angmon?" Sinbad offered, trying to get the meeting over with.

"It seems to be the smartest idea to me. Take out any possibility of them retaliating." Jason said, Alec shook his head in agreement

Aegis was not pleased when she had learned that by the time she had started her letter, the leaders of Sindria, Andor, and even Delvin had already arrived in Wendat. Why she wasn't invited to attend Wendat, she would never know. Perhaps the other nations didn't take her seriously or simply didn't care about her or nation. It was a bitter thought but how else was she to interpret such a thing. She growled lowly and shook her head as she sat on her throne room. If it wasn't for Serenity, her adviser, she would have led a full frontal assault on the unsuspecting leaders. She did however, come to the conclusion that the others would come to her soon enough, if a crisis that required nations to cooperate was indeed brewing, they could come to her when the time is most certainly right. But for now, she will stand by and watch as the world slowly falls into complete and utter pandemonium.

Estre nodded, agreeing. "I agree with you that Angmon should be dealt with, but I'm not sure that any of you understand their potential" she began. "Angmon is led by three people, each of them an incredibly powerful necromancer. Together, they can effortlessly reanimate thousands upon thousands of soldiers- weak, but dangerous nonetheless. I would suggest that we do not send numbers against them, but our best. I've been personally training a small force of soldiers skilled in light magic to protect my citizens if they planned to attack. I would like to be in the front-lines in the war on Heligdom, so I will need someone to lead these forces if we plan on attacking Angmon. I have some Andorians who would rise up to the challenge, but i wanted to know if any of you would like to be there."She sat back, letting her request hang in the air.

Feasili snarled to himself a bit as his claws worked on the tender meat of the slain rabbit. He hadn't expected the flesh to give way so easily, the Scouts that had been heading out of Salbarcia gave word of the weaker nature of the wildlife but his own experiences with them were rather limited. Despite keeping his Scholarly mind open it still came as a surprise when the creature had been felled so easily. Even the Peons back in Salbarcia were hazardous to the unfamiliar. A loud chittering noise reminded Feasili as to why exactly he had slain the creature in the first place. With a nod, Feasili tore the carcass in two and tossed one half to the beast hovering behind him.

It appeared to be some form of large floating insect with a maw that took up the majority of its head. The Majority of the top of the Creature's body was covered in a metal harness, a gaseous substance flooding out from the float gills on its back. Its mandibles chittered once more as it devoured the morsel and reopened to be fed once more. Its body was wider than Feasili's shoulders, and rather small compared to other beasts that the Salbarcions were used to using for travel. A Scurrier, a small and fast war beast usually likened to the Cist Swarms in terms of flying capabilities. To some it would look like a large, insectoid balloon.

Feasili had wanted air travel for his quest, and he refused to use either moderately paced Gas barges or the massive Behemoths known as Brunal Wasps. With the Scurrier he could cover more ground, plus it was much more maneuverable than those Gas Barges without the war-like appearance of the Brunal Wasps.

With that said, Feasili had traveled quite far from the Volatile homeland they had emerged from. He made it a point to avoid any form of civilization, most prominently the borders of a neighboring Empire the scouts had pointed out. There would be time for meetings later, right now he wished to journey southeast. A couple scouts had already skirted along in the general east and north, so Feasili decided to follow a slightly diverged path. This most recent incursion was to understand how much land they had to work with, as they already grasped the concept of the vast ocean blue that ran along the western side of the empire. So much water, and his fellow scholars had surmised that it surpassed even the land in sheer size.

So after skirting along the borders of their neighboring nation, Feasili had taken a short hunting break to get used to the sight of the creatures that the scouts spoke of. He stood and devoured the rest of the remains and turned to a nearby tree before approaching and promptly burying one of his claws into it. After several seconds he began squirming his fist inside of it, weaker than even the Guirmo Roaches.

The Salbarcion hunters would have a field day with this place.

With that in mind Feasili mounted the Scurrier once more and pulled from his armor a crude map sketch that was only had the barest detailing of the surrounding area.

Feasili scratched his head a bit before gripping the harness, taking to the sky and speeding off southeast once more.

Sinbad liked Estre's plan, because his nation was solely based around the strength of the individual and not in the number of individuals. "I say we wait until after we finish off the other nations, then the four of us, and the best of the best from each of our nations can head to Angmon to take them on. Also, with a war so close to their border it would only be just if we contacted the leader of Akeldma to warn them that battles may take place very close to their border. Perhaps they may join us, who knows if their internal affairs are over by now."

@NetherLightGod

" I will send a letter to Akeldma at first light. Devlin shares the largest expanse of border with them after all." Alec spoke. "Now if we are finished here i will be on my way? Any other Issues you all would like to discuss?" He asked standing up.

"Im quite set. My men will begin war training in the morning as well as begin the the harvesting of lumber." Jason said. Standing up as well.

Estre stood as well, pushing her hair behind one of her long ears. "Then it is decided. I look forward to fighting along side my new allies" she answered. "May we live long and prosper." One of her guards stepped up behind her, ready to escort her back to his ship.

Keeping true to his original plans, Feasili stayed just along the edge of the forest lands he had encountered. He had found the exceptionally dense woodlands on his southeastern journey, the trees' exceptional height had forced Feasili to fly higher in order to avoid them. The Scurrier paid no mind, though the winds of the higher altitude slowed their progress considerably. What worried him more was the high level of border patrol. He had almost been spotted on his southeastern journey, but was able to cast Invisibility on himself and the Scurrier quickly enough.

Great, now he not only had to deal with the winds, but these Hominid guards without letting up on his invisibility. Thankfully he should have enough Myrthia gems to feed the spell until he gets around them, but that no less left him ruffled.

Feasili grumbled to himself, at this rate those blasted scouts would beat him to the other side of the continent. He ran a long tongue over the massive teeth in his maw and let the wind whistle along the thick spines of armor he wore. Just when he was about to sigh and try pushing the beast harder, he felt a slight pressure in the back of his head and his vision was suddenly tinged red.

"Archmage"

Feasili slowed down a bit at the venomous, hissing sound of the Red Patriarch's Voice

Many Miles Away, Deep in the Merciless Expanse of Salbarcia.... Israeth...

The Red Patriarch let his claws roam over the parchment he had just received. It had been latched onto a Halthen and sent by a Scout. The Halthen itself was latched onto the edge of a nearby chair its carapacian body flashing with light a bit as its vicious beak poked at its seemingly metallic wings. Many of these winged messengers had been coming and going from the capital since the scouts had been sent out, most of their messages being looked over by officials and scholars. But ones like this, were sent to him directly.

After reading it, he had pondered its wording for several moments, then he tapped into the Hive Mind and sought out for the scouts near the described location: Wendat. The positing of the scout who had written it coupled with the information the others had gathered left no doubt in his mind that the place was known as Wendat. What he found was much better, apparently his Archmage had journeyed Southeast, and was currently near the location of Wendat itself.

"Archmage," his hiss traveled along the Hive Mind and penetrated Feasili's mind as he assumed control "my presence is required in Wendat... you shall be my Herald. Take comfort in knowing of the economic progress your risk will bring the Hive."

On the Borders of Wendat territory....

Feasili chuckled a bit as he felt the Red Patriarch guiding his direction, a mission so soon? He had barely been outside the Empire for a couple hours or so. When the pressure faded and his vision went back to normal, Feasili found himself pointing the Scurrier deeper into the nation of... Wendat was it? Oh well, the Red Patriarch's orders were to be followed. The Archmage sped into that territory, not exactly knowing why he was or where specifically he was heading. But he enjoyed the mystery surrounding it in general.

The Archmage had no idea his Patriarch had pointed him in the direction of a quite important meeting of leaders.

Off the Coast of Wendat... The Wreckage of the Somalian Blockade....

Through the mess of destroyed ships and smoke, a large underwater figure tugged along a large raft. On the raft a Large Salbarcion bellowed out to the beast as he led it using long chain-like reigns. On board were several Salbarcion crewmembers and a scout. The Raft was one of their first attempts at sea-faring vehicles, it was doing much better than the first three. The ship not only stayed afloat despite its metallic make-up, but it was able to take the certain speeds the Leviathan pulling it could reach. Though, needless to say the design was far from perfect.

So what were these Salbarcions, masters of earth and air travel, doing so far away from the homeland in recently uncharted waters? They were one of three ships that had set sail from Salbarcia to travel around the continent and mark down its perimeter. They only had skeleton crews at the moment, and their lack of war beasts or heavy non-aerodynamic weaponry is what made them so disposable. They had dropped several scouts off on land, well... they tossed them overboard with dingy little floats and Halthen cages near land but that was more than enough honestly. The last scout would've been dropped off near land here, but then they noticed the sights of ocean warfare and couldn't pass up on the chance to study the ship designs.

Said Scout, Haycinth, had been staring out over the edge of the large raft, at the docking yard he had spotted in the distance while several crewmembers hauled ship pieces out of the water and began looking them over. Using a long eyepiece that he had to move his goggles out of the way for, Haycinth had watched the various Hominids exit their vessels and be accepted deeper into the mass of structures that dotted the coast. Doing what he had been ordered, the Scout had described the occurrence and area as best as he could before attaching the message to his Halthen and sending it off. And then he just sat and stared at the place while the Salbarcion crew continued their ship scavenging.

The scavengers nodded to one another as they finished looking over several smaller pieces of ship. The Large Salbarcion Captain gestured towards Haycinth and roared for him to get off. That was strange, Haycinth assumed they would wait for the Halthen to return. Before he could voice the complaint the Crewmembers seized him and dragged him over to the edge of the raft.

"Wait!" he growled to them "Area too populate. Discovery!"

"Orders to drop little scout at location. Follow Orders." the Captain bellowed before nodding to the Crewmembers.

Haycinth felt one press a pack of his possessions into his arms before being hauled overboard. He landed in the murky water and scrambled to break surface. As he did so, he saw the massive underwater form of the Leviathan which pulled the ship. The Leviathan was wrapping its tentacles around large portions of the downed ships. As Haycinth breached surface once more his toothed maw gasped for air as he tried, unsuccessfully, to brush the water from his eyes. After blinking it out for a while he opened them to see the dingy float descending down from the raft directly towards him. He could barely try to get out of the way before the float smacked him clear in the face as it pushed him back underwater.

Once the Leviathan had enough ship chunks in its grasp the Captain yanked the reigns and roared "Move!" The beast and raft turned and began heading back the way they came on the long trip to Salbarcion waters. As they left a dingy float righted itself in the ship graveyard that was a bit less cluttered since the Salbarcions had scoured it. A clawed, pale, and thickly muscled arm shot out of the water next to it and clung to it as Haycinth pulled himself out of the water and on to the dingy float. He set his wet pack of possessions to the side and paused to take a breather before he growled to himself and began rowing towards land.

"So, are we simply sticking with a verbal agreement? Or would you like Ja'far to work out a contract?" Sinbad asked, remaining seated but sitting back and stretching slightly.

As the world leaders were wrapping up their meeting one of Jason's scouts came rushing in. "Sir, an earth dweller was just seen off the coast near the wreckage of the Somalian ships. Should we take abrasive actions against them?" Jason thought this over for a moment, this could provide an opportunity to extend a peaceful hand to Salbarcia. "No, bring him here, We wish to speak to him." Jason sat back down in his chair it seems this brief meeting is now and ongoing process. "To answer your question Sinbad, i believe we should work out a contract. That way if at a future time any nations decides to go back on the promises made here, today there is a hard copy of our agreement as allies."

Haycinth pulled himself onto the docks, hauling the pack up behind him as he continued his incessant grumbling. Several nearby fishers immediately made a retreat from the Salbarcian. After catching his breath for a moment Haycinth arose to find himself faced with the ends of readied arrows, half a dozen long-haired Hominids had him surrounded.

"Earth Dweller," one of them said evenly "Sir Carmichael wishes to speak with you. We beseech thee to come peacefully."

Haycinth growled and waited for direction from the Great Red Patriarch, but alas his voice stayed silent. Deciding that he would wait to see their leader before attempting to start an international incident, Haycinth raised his arms in surrender before being led away by the Wendat soldiers.

Meanwhile... Outside Jason's Home....

"Halt Earth-Walker! You fly dangerously close to a crucial gathering of the powers, state your reason!"

Feasili didn't want to think it would happen, but low and behold it did. The Red Patriarch had led him deeper and deeper into Wendat, eventually being obstructed by a massive tree with a circular house surrounding it. He had circled it on the Scurrier several times before being ordered by the Red Patriarch to reveal himself from his invisibility. Now he was faced down with dozens of armed Hominids who apparently took no pleasure in his presence.

He found it slightly annoying that he had to be the one sent instead of some scout, he was the Archmage! Just think of all the research he could be doing instead of dealing with the crummy Hominids. So his disappointment was quite apparent as he sighed and crossed his armored legs on top of the Scurrier before leaning his head into one hand and waving in the air a bit.

"I am an Ambassador from the Glorious Salbarcian Hive," he stated in his garbled hiss speech "the Red Patriarch has sent me in response to a gathering of importance he... Caught wind of."

One of the Archers inched his way to another "Go," he whispered to him "alert Sir Carmichael."

The Soldier nodded before running off, Feasili guessed to someone of higher authority. And so he waited in his position as the Hominids never took their eyes, or their arrows for that matter, off of him. Though he did glance to the side momentarily as he felt another member of the hive slowly approaching the area.

Estre nodded in agreement. "Perhaps these earth-dwellers will be open to peace. Their scouts have bee nseen in my lands, but they never made offensive advances. The Highborn are wary of them, and that means that the humans in my nation are wary as well. I'll let you do the talking" she said, preparing her mind for another round of diplomatic talks.

Feasili was ushered into the meeting room by Wendat guards, cautiously keeping watch as he floated in on the Scurrier. He straightened at the sight of the other national leaders, raising his head from his palm to grin at them with his jagged teeth. He raised his arms to the side and gave a small bow as he continued chuckling to himself with his gnarled voice.

As he bowed, Haycinth approached as well. The Scout tilted his head to the side a bit at the sight of the Archmage, though it was comforting knowing that the focus wouldn't be solely on him. "Aw yes," Feasili said as he glanced to the side at Haycinth "grand you could make it youngling." Haycinth immediately responded to the compliment from a higher up, straightening and bowing to him as Feasili turned to the assembled leaders. He let his beady, barely noticeable eyes scan over them as the two groups took in each other's appearance.

"So, as you are well aware of, I am a representative sent by the Grand Red Patriarch." Feasili wasted no time, then gestured back to Haycinth "The Scout shall act as my entourage for now." Haycinth nodded in acknowledgment, keeping his own speech to a minimum in favor of the superior taking the front seat. "In any case, our great Leader caught wind of this assembly and... redirected my own little scouting mission toward this fair palace."

Feasili chuckled a bit to himself at that "However, I know next to nothing about whom I'm currently in the company of. So if you don't mind, I shall save the whole Contacting our Grand Red Patriarch thing till after I have a clear idea of the individuals I am currently presenting myself to."

Estre stood first, bowing as an attempt to show that she was no enemy. "I am Estre, High Queen of Andor. The elves have watched your sudden expansion with respect, representative. Not many nations are graced with your significant growth rate" she greeted, attempting to find common ground. "We were just making plans to contact your leader, this Grand Red Patriarch." The size of their nation rivaled her own, and their numbers were far too many to count. Her only hope to avoid war was this meeting, so she chose every word carefully.

On the Border of Andor and Wendat

High King Emric spread his arms, welcoming the chilled wind that gushed past him. Only the sound of his horse's hooves striking earth broke through the sound of wind. Everything seemed so simple when he was riding- the speed washed away his stress and anger. As soon as he'd heard about the meeting, and his wife going in his stead, nothing could hold him back from leaving. The rest of the navy had been deployed to protect the coasts of Andor, so his only option was to ride on his steed Brego. He could see the jungle looming ahead of him, so he began to slow his steed down, as well as his royal guard- they were some of the best soldiers Andor could offer, and had insisted on accompanying him. Four horses road behind him, as a gift to any who would desire them in this meeting of leaders.
