Fantasy A league of nations.

Jason was helping arange the cots in the medical huts when a messenger ran in. "Sir, we've just recieved word that the Somalian ships have been blown up" Jason grinned no doubt the work of his allies. "Sir, it wasn't Sindria or Andor. We believe it may have been Heligdom. The flames were Identified as magic." Jasons expression dropped. Heligdom had remained quite for many years now, never posing a threat. If they were now deciding to fight against Andor or Sindria that could spell trouble for Wendat. See as they share a border. Jason thought for a moment. "Double the Guard on the border, also send word to Devlin, we will need as much help as we can get.

Estre grunted, sprinting across the deck of the ship and using her spear to throw herself onto the Sindrian vessel. It exploded almost as soon as she landed, flaming debris raining around them. "Curse those Heligs..." she muttered, watching as one of her vessels began sinking into the ocean, its hull torn apart. Sailors began jumping onto the neighboring vessels which were just barely staying afloat, including The Asteria.

Her lieutenant hadn't gotten off the ship in time, which angered her further. He was young for an Andorian, having just received his position in her personal guard. Estre turned to Sinbad, holding back her rage. "We must get to Wendat, if the fleet i brought for its protection is going to survive. Hopefully, they can repair the ships well enough to fight."

Sinbad nodded in agreement, and Masrur commanded his crew to set sail. Ja'far walked over to her and formally introduced himself, bowing. "High Queen Estre, it is an honor to meet at last. I can assure you that this was the work of Heligdom, and Sindria will do everything in its power to destroy them. Such heinous attacks on our king is an act of war."

Dear King Alec,

I write to you under the most dire of circumstances. It appears as though Heligdom has taken invasive

measures against Sindria, Andor and Wendat. My fear is in the fact that both of our nations are bordered with Heligdom. My own men have been sent to double patrol on our borders, i can spare a few men to help insure the safety of yours as well but i advise you to move the families in the Northern towns southward. Sindrian and Adorian Representitives are on there way to Wendat as we speak to discuss a possible Alliance. I extend this invitation to you as well. Wendat and Devlin have had a long standing trade agreement so you may be able to shed light on the offer i'm extending to the other two nations.

Your old friend,

Jason Carmichael

Dear Jason,

My own scouts have reported notable activity at the borders. Your men are always welcome in my land, and are appreciated. I would also be more than happy to come and discuss the matters at hand. Devlin has never had any real interaction with Sindria or Andor so i egarly await our meeting. I will set out at first light.

Sincerely,

King Alec

P.S. on completely off-record non-business terms. Anastasia asks when uncle Jacey will visit again.

"The pleasure is all mine. Those heligs will pay for what they've done, even if the entire Andorian army has to march into Heligdom and destroy its cities. They will fear even the mention of the Highborn" she replied, slipping her spear into its loop on her back. The thought of letting her anger out on Heligdom seemed to sooth her, enough to engage in normal conversation. "I never caught your name, Sindrian."

"My sincerest apologies, my name is Ja'far of Sindria." Ja'far replied, bowing again. "I assume the others have not introduced themselves yet, but there will be time for that at the meeting with Wendat." He smiled and walked away, standing next to Sinbad and looking behind him at the wreckage. He was lost in thought for so long it wasn't until Sinbad slapped his back playfully and told him they were almost there that he realized Wendat was just ahead.

Jason walked down the docks, just as the Sindrian and Andorian ships came into the harbor. The harbor wasn't anything fancy. A simple project some of the courteous Devlin architects put in. it was times like these Jason was happy he agreed to such a project. He could see both Queen Estre on the Asteria and Sinbad aboard a Sindrian ship. It wasn't until now that Jason noticed that the number of ships were fewer than he had expected. He simply waited for the two ambassadors to exit the ship.

Estre nodded before signaling to the Asteria to sail closer. They lowered a wooden plank, allowing her to cross over to her own vessel and lead her damaged fleet into the Wendat harbor. Soldiers were too busy giving first aid to their comrades to notice that they had docked, as was normal in their ranks. Andorian soldiers were fiercely loyal to one another, bonded through fighting side by side. Accompanied by a personal guard, sullen thanks to the loss of one of their own, Estre exited her ship and stood on the dock, waiting for Sinbad to join her before she made a move.

As the Sindrian ship docked the crew was busy retrieving the gifts Sinbad had prepared for Wendat and Andor. Sinbad led the way down the dock, with Masrur and Ja'far close behind him on either side. The other six generals fell into position a few feet behind them. "Lord Jason! It truly is an honor!" Sinbad exclaimed, seeming very excited to see him for whatever reason. He continued down the docks and bowed deeply, before rising and smiling wide.

Estre followed the Sindrian King and stopped in front of Jason, bowing. "Well met, Lord Jason. I am High Queen Estre of Andor. We have much to discuss" she greeted, her somber attitude a stark contrast to Sinbad's excited greeting. "The fleet I brought with me has been sabotaged by our enemies. I know i have only just arrived, but i must ask for you to send some of your men to begin repairing them."

Jaosn bowed to the both of them as they stood in front of him. "I will send my men immediately your majesty." Jason gestured to one of his servants who rushed off back into the woods. "Devlin's King, Alec, should be here within a day or so. I sent word to him this morning." Jason smiled at the two. "Come a grand feast awaits. although we may want to have a little meeting before hand. discuss todays.. events." he turned and walked off, giving orders to his servants and healer to assist the wounded and to gather both Estre's and Sinbads belongings.

Sinbad's men came off the ship with many chests, most of them containing treasures for Jason and Estre but a few of them was the luggage of Sinbad and his generals. "A feast? I hope you have enough, Masrur and Hinahoho here can eat their fair share." Sinbad laughed, gesturing to the giant blue haired man and the pink haired man to his side. Hinahoho laughed as well, Masrur keeping his usual official composure. Sinbad walked forward, his generals close behind.

Jason walked in between Sinbad and Estre, draping an arm over their shoulders. He nearly forgot the differences in customs between the nations. A common friendly gesture may be misconstrued through another's eyes. After second guessing himself and retracted his arm. Clearing his throat he continued on into the jungle. "We have more than enough food. Trust me, my men can eat like elephants on a slow day." Jason chuckled to himself. It was a walk on the dense jungle floor for about 200 yards before the trails and bridges between the trees began.

Estre forced herself to keep her composure, hoping not to tarnish her kings reputation as a very serious diplomat. "It is much appreciated. The High King wishes he could be here, but his sickness has kept him bedridden for the past few months. He sends his regards" she answered, making sure she chose the correct words as she was taught.

Wendat has a reputation for their many ways of getting information. Even though the slight inflections in Estres voice seemed out of place. He didn't question it. It was hers to keep. They continued on. As they got to the foot lifts he helped the two into their lifts. As they sky rocketed up into the canopy Jason eagarly looked at the two reactions. It was his favorite part of training new recruits was their first lift ride. He settled the two back onto the plat form afterwards. As he brushed himself off.

Estre steadied herself, feeling her stomach drop. She was rising into the air, as was Sinbad and Jason. Her teeth gritted, the queen quietly cursed in Andorian. She had never been very confident when it came to heights, which is why she preferred the plains of Andor to any other land regions. As they came to a stop, she straightened, brushing her long hair behind her ears, ready to begin her diplomatic mission.

Sinbad paid no heed as Jason put an arm around his shoulder, Ja'far however have Jason a dirty glare as if to warn him about laying a hand on his king. They remained rather silent for the walk, all of them analyzing the dense woods around them. At the sky lift they all looked worried, except Sinbad who seemed like a kid in a candy store when he was told he would be getting rising into the air. On the way up he couldn't help but let go of his regal composure and instead let out a squeel of joy. At the top his normal solemn and official composure was gone, showing his true self. He had a more relaxed pose and way of speaking. "That was just amazing, you get to use it everyday?" He asked overjoyed, but the generals all groaned in displeasure at the lift.

"I don't myself, are you kidding if you knew how those things were made you probably wouldnt have used it." Jason paused waiting for the fear to strike their faces." I'm joking completely, they're as safe as can be. I myself just prefer to climb the trees takes me just about the same amount of time as the lifts do." Jason guided Sinbad, who looked like a lot of the new trainees until Jason started to hark into them, Estre, who he had to give props to she regains composure fast, and the strew of generals across the bridges. instructing them which branches you could step on and which ones were false branches used as a line of defense. "If that thing breaks you're going down, there are no branches below it so you wont stop until you hit the underbrush. This whole jungle has evolved to kill, luckily for us it hasn't evolved above 30 feet so we're perfectly safe up here." He helped them across the various other ropes, swings and lifts. After about a 30 minute trek, one that takes Jason 5 minutes on a slow day, they arrived at the main city. City is a loose term. It was a huge cluster of massive tree-house type buildings, with bridges and ropes strung between them. In the center was Jason's home and the city hall. Below that, the only place in the jungle where they've built on the ground was the firing range. He guided the two nobals to his home. "Welcome to my humble abode." He said opening the door.

(Sorry, yesterday was busy-.-)

Estre stepped over one of the false branches, making sure to keep her balance. She silently thanked herself for leaving her armor on the Asteria, because it definitely would have weighed her down too much to stay balanced this high up. Along the trek, she allowed herself to become lost in her thoughts, mulling over the battle before-hand. Or more appropriately put, the lack of a battle. The Somalians and Heligs were working together? It seemed impossible. But it wasn't the craziest alliance she'd heard of- for Angmon to ally with anyone, especially Andor, was just as crazy. She may have to ask for Mannimarco's aid before the end of this war.

But the Somalians and Heligs? Surely the Somalians weren't willing to bow down to any religion, especially one that would restrict them. And the Heligs must know that. What was the endgame here? Destroying Andor was a priority for nearly every nation, due to its huge size and massive armies. But to invoke both Sindria and Wendat as well? It was suicide. She was shaken out of her silence when they had arrived at Jason's home.

Sinbad and his generals looked around, most of them having never seen a normal woodland let alone the trees of Wendat. Sinbad himself was from the southern tip of Devlin, and lived a life on the seas from a young age so trees were a rarity. All the other generals came from either desert areas like Heliohapt, or mountains of Heligdom. And anyone from Somalia was used to water more than land. So a house in the trees was nothing more than a fairytale until now.

Jason chuckled at the child like wonder on the generals faces. "I take it you like the trees? Wait here just a moment." Jason hopped off of his balcony to a nearby tree, climbing the branches into the higher canopy. He opened the small pouch be kept on his belt, filling it quickly with the bright red berries that cling to the top leaves in hopes of sun. He climbed back down to the platform. "Everyone, try these. We call them acuma, or jeyjey berries. " Jason distributed them to everyone before popping a couple in his mouth. They were one of his favorite fruits. As they entered his home he was startled by a person sitting at his table. But once he recognized the familiar blonde hair a smile played at his lips. He went over as Alex, the king of Devlin, stood. The two hugged and then stepped back. Alec bowed to both Sinbad and Estre before extending his hands to theirs to shake. "Nice to make your acquaintances. Estre if Andor and Sinbad of Sindria I presume. Jason told me you would be meeting. I am Alec, King of Devlin."

Estre bowed as well, shaking Alec's hand. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I hope that our alliance will be prosperous to all our lands" she greeted. Delvin was one of the few nations Andor had fought against in past times, which slightly reassured her. Less past enemies was always a good thing. "Our ancestors were once friends- i hope we can be the same."

Sinbad shook his head, coming back to reality when Jason offered him a berry. Ja'far kept his eye on Sinbad as he ate it, waiting for any strange effects. When Alec offered his hand Sinbad shook it happily. "Alec, I have been meaning to make contact with Devlin but have been at a lack of time. However, with you at this meeting it should suffice." Sinbad replied, smiling.

"So if everyone would join me in my conference room please." Jason gestured to a room off of the main living area. The entire house was a large circular shape around a one of the largest trees in Wendat. The inside of the tree was carved out to be a circular conference room. Jason pulled in a few extra chairs. His table sat eight. once everyone was seated Jason began. "So we are all here today to air out our difference, establish trade and to hopefully form an alliance with one an other. Wendat his willing to supply both Andor and Sindria with the wood and expertise to build their vessels." Jason turned to Alec. "As well as keeping in tact the long standing trade with Devlin. My men have recently discovered multiple Assassins and militia trying to cross over into both Wendat and Devlin. I would like to request a few more heavily armored soldiers from Andor to guard my borders."

At this Alec Spoke up. "Mine as well please. Devlin has never been big on the military, in an attempt to keep peace with other nations. But it seems such decisions were dangerous in times like this. Somalia is a few miles off the Southwestern coast of Devlin, I would like to, if you can spare it, a few of your ships to guard that coastline. Over the last few months there has been increased activity of Somalian ships which has limited our fishing spots, it also happens to be the location of octopus. Which if im correct is still your favorite Jason?" Alec turned to him. "Devlin has recently discovered a rare mineral in certain types of coral. Its hardy and durable, yet light weight. Excellent for armors and weapons. Devlin is willing to craft such armors or weapons for any soldiers of your armies, with the guarantee of protection."

Estre took the seat, thanking Jason. She quietly listened to both of the King's request, mulling over the options in her head. "This alliance is of great interest to me," she began. "For too long has peace in Andor been assured by military might. Our enemies have killed many of my own men already, and i plan on taking the fight to them, alone or with allies. But Heligdom and Somalia are not our only enemies to be wary of.

"For decades, my husband has kept the forces of Mannimarco, King of Angmon, away from your lands. But with Andor's forces so divided, he will not sit idly by. His armies number in the thousands, as numerous as he wishes. I am happy to send my troops to Wendat, and a portion of my fleet to guard the waterways into both Delvin and Wendat. But I will be unable to protect my own land while doing so. If this alliance is to succeed, i suggest we form a banner, a symbol- something to represent our unity. Even Angmon would hesitate before attacking such a large coalition of forces.

"But you have my word. some of my strongest men will be sent to guard your borders as soon as a deal is struck," she finished, resting her chin on her hands.
