In a world like ours, only far behind in technology and science and instead ages ahead of us in magic and supernatural prowess. You are the leader of your very own country. Is it a kingdom, dictatorship, democracy, republic, oligarchy? Govern your country however you like, make alliances with other nations and wage war on others.

Three letters arrived for each Jason and Estre, one has no sign as to who sent it. This letter, without an apparent sender is a message saying that if they do not remove their citizens from the outside edge of their respective countries then they will be caught in the upcoming war. The second letter is in a barely legible hand writing, signed Scotty Freeman of Somalia. His letter held a message telling them that if they did not agree to a 25% tax on all goods shipped to their nation then he would rally his troops and begin destroying any and all ships on the seas until he made his way into the heart of their nation and slaughtered them himself. The final letter was in an elegant font, and a gold leaf header bearing the royal mark of Sindria. The message within was asking for an alliance in order to take knock the Helig's down a peg and stop pressuring their god on every country they can and corrupting them from the inside out.

Dear Sindria,

I agree with you on the matters of Helig's religious propaganda, we should perhaps hold a meeting of leaders and discuss and ill feelings we harbor for each other. Speaking of harbors, there is now a looming threat of both war and raids on the horizon. I believe that Somalia is to blame. Your country has one of the finest navy's in the world that much is true and threats towards you or Andor are nothing more than Petty threats. But alas my country never managed to develope such a fine naval fleet such as yours. What I propose is an agreement, I would assume it takes wood to build ships. I can supply you with the sturdy wood for ships if you provided my country with protection from the sea. I can also provided any land reinforcements you may need as well as high grade mixtures ranging from medicine to explosives.

I look forward to your reply post-haste

Dear Andor,

I write to you in hopes of an Alliance against a common enemy. Samalia, has now threatened both of our nations as well as Sindria, I have written Sindrias leader, Sinbad, in hopes that we may all have a meeting and discuss and harbored resentments for each other and then to discuss what must be done about the pirates. I would like to offer a trade. The same I have offered Sindria. My nation is in the heart of the jungle, naval advancements where never a priority when building our nation. I ask for your protection in return i can supply you with some of the strongest wood in the world. As well as any land reinforcements you may need. My country also prides its self on its pyrotechnics and explosive advancements. I could supply you with what ever forms of chemical weapons you desire.

I look forward to your reply post-haste

Wendat

King Sinbad, Lord of Sindria,

Your proposal is most interesting. I have seen the corruption in my own cities as well, and Heligdom is no ally of mine. But I must know: why ask for an alliance, followed by a call to arms, rather than allow your enemies to destroy one another? But fret not- I have chosen to accept your proposal. As we speak my navy is being prepared. I shall send a large regiment of cavalry to Wendat to ensure it does not fall during this clash, if this alliance is created. Shall I send my navy to Sindria, to increase the defenses around your city? Surely the two finest navies in the world could not be defeated by religious zealots.

Godspeed,

Lady Estre, High Queen of Andor

Lord Jason of Wendat,

Your proposal has been accepted, and my vast armies are preparing for war as we speak. I shall send a large for of cavalry to your lands, to protect you, as well as a quarter of my fleet if you would wish it. Yes, Andor is in need of resources. Hopefully, this navy, created by our conjoining of nations, shall be feared across the world. Send word when a meeting place is decided, as well as your desire for protection.

Godspeed,

Lady Estre, High Queen of Andor

Lady Estre of Andor

As appreciated as your offer for cavalry is, i must decline as the jungle floor is too thick with underbrush that men don't even treed there. Your well trained steeds would only have the 50 feet of beach before the jungle begins. How ever Your ships would be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to send a cargo ship I will be sure to fill it with the finest wood so you may build more ships. As for the meeting place. I will have a grand feast planned for yours and Lord Sinbads arrival in, say a weeks time. The three of us can discuss things then.

Sincerely

Jason Carmichael

Wendat

Lord Jason of Wendat,

My ships shall leave at dawn's first light. I shall send three large galleons to your land, accompanied by a small fleet of frigates. These ships are some of the most powerful I can offer. They shall arrive with me, headed by my own vessel titled Lux Lunæ. I look forward to negotiating with you and King Sinbad, in an effort to show Hiligdom its place in the world.

Godspeed,

Lady Estre, High Queen of Andor

Lady Estre

The Eastern Harbor will be awaiting your vessels.

High Queen Estre of Andor,

I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response, but there was a domestic affair that required my attention. We do not require any additional naval service at the moment, as there is no threat to us from Somalia so it would be in your best interest to keep your fleet together at Andor in the event of an attack. And in response to the affairs of Heligdom a naval battle would not suffice, as they are masters of sabotage and stealth this must be taken care of in a discreet manner with haste. I look forward to meeting with you in person soon.

Yours truly,

Shindobaddo, King of Sindria.

Jason of Wendat,

I would love to agree to your offer of a trade between protection and supplies and we should talk more about this in person just on the off chance that Heligdom has intercepted these letters. I await our meeting with delight.

Sincerely,

Shindobaddo, King of Sindria.

King Sinbad,

I eagerly await our meeting. My fleet and I have left our city and are currently on our way to Wendat. We shall meet soon.

Godspeed,

Lady Estre, High Queen of Andor

Lord Jason,

I have sent the courier ahead of me to inform you that m fleet has begun our journey to your land. We shall raise the flag of Andor over our flagship to assure you that we are not the Somalians.

Godspeed,

Lady Estre, High Queen of Andor

Dear Lady Estre/ King Sinbad

Wendat eagarly awaits your arrival. We have much to discuss and must do so swiftly if we hope to end the tirade of Heligdom and the Pirates from Somalia.

Sinbad left on his ship with his eight trusted generals, knowing that when all nine of them were together they were a target for assassinations but he trusted Ja'far's sense of danger to warn him if there was an impending assassination. He contemplated sending a reply to Jason about the chance of an ambush, but knew that it would only arrive a short time before he did so it would be a waste. Most of the generals were below deck, sleeping the short journey to Wendat away. Only Ja'far and Masrur stuck by Sinbad above deck as they always were by his side, owing him their lives. A few hours from the shore of Wendat a ship approached in the distance, and Masrur recognized it in a moment. A Somalian ship, and on the horizon the rest of a fleet could be seen. "Get below deck my lord, your trusted generals will take care of the threat." Masrur warned Sinbad, ringing the alarm bell.

Jason was rushing around the City. He always enjoyed being a part of the preparation, and this was the largest event Wendat is had in a long while. He was just helping a servant lay a table cloth in the grand hall when a messenger ran in, leaning in close to his ear he whispered. "Jason, Somalian ships have been seen just on the horizon." Jason turned towards the messenger. "Are they coming this way?" He asked. the courier just shook his head. "They're all in a line, they appear to be creating a blockade of sorts. Jason knew there was nothing he could do at this point. While Wendat had all of the materials to build the finest War ships, they didn't have the technology or expertise needed. Jason began to bark out orders. That Preparations were to go into over drive. He also arranged half of the servants to get the Medical Huts ready, and for one of them to send for Mako, His shaman.

Estre looked over the waters, observing the blockade of ships. A small fleet of around ten ships was at her back, following the massive flagship titled The Asteria. She cursed, seeing that they were forming a blockade between her fleet and their destination. "My lady! Another ship has been spotted to starboard!" a sailor shouted from the deck. She turned to the right, peering across the waters until she spotted it: another ship, with the colors of Sindria flying high.

"Do not worry! They are an ally" she answered, smiling. "Prepare for battle! Lets show these pirates the true terror of the seas!" her attendant blew through his war-horn, which signaled the rest of the fleet to begin arming themselves.

Sinbad was escorted below deck by Ja'far, as the other generals woke up and began their battle preparations. Masrur was commanding the crew, a sigh of relief swept over the ship as Andor's fleet came into view. Yamraiha began channeling her magic, using a special device she created that allowed her to draw upon Sinbad's abnormally large mana pool. Since Somalia was a common enemy and this was a trip to form an alliance with Andor so Yam felt no need to hold back. Instead she thought it would be better to show off the true power of Sindria's position as the home of modern magic. Utilizing both her and Sinbad's mana pool she was able to churn the water underneath the Somalian pirates, a small whirlpool forming and slowly growing in size. Although it was growing at too slow a pace to consume the whole blockade it would provide a lot of help to their side of the battle, since this was a common tactic of the Sindrian navy all the crew members and ships were beyond prepared for fights in the worst possible weather.

Estre watched as a whirlpool formed underneath some of the Somalian ships. Her eyebrow raised- she was impressed. She didn't have the pleasure of meeting other powerful mages, so the thought of meeting Sindria's generals suddenly became far more appealing.

Her fleet lined up, forming a similar brigade to counter the Somalians. The iron rams at the front of each vessel would smash through the enemy, and her men would be able to board and slaughter the weakened ships. Estre herself walked to the front of the Asteria and began pouring her magical energy into the sky. Stormclouda began to form, crackling every so often with green lightning. She would only be able to hit one enemy vessel thanks to her dwindling pool of mana, but if she hit the flagship. It would throw the enemy into chaos.

The Somalians showed no sign of reaction to the oncoming storm, and whirlpool. Most likely they were expecting this from the two most powerful navies in the world. However, they held their barricade in wait for the oncoming ships. The Sindrian ship continued on towards the Somalians, all eight of the generals except Ja'far who was with Sinbad, were on the deck and awaiting boarding range.

Aegis was sitting ever so peacefully on her throne, lost in her thoughts when she was suddenly intruded.

"My lady, urgent news. Some scouts have been receiving word that trouble is brewing with the other nations, namely Sindria, Wendat, and Andor. The source of trouble seems to be Somalia. "

Aegis sighed lowly and raised a brow. "So? What happens out at sea is none of my concern but to cease your worrying I will send aid where ever possible and write a letter to whomever is in charge these days." The man who had informed her of the news simply bowed and said nothing more, exiting the room soon after, leaving Aegis to her thoughts once more.

"Trouble brewing in a time like this? An age of peace shattered in an instant? Oh how wonderful..." She muttered to herself, raising her body from her throne to go an write her letter.

(Sorry if it's you know...not up there with some of the other posts but I didn't want to be the only one not posting)

Estre's eyes clouded over as she stuck the flagship with a massive bolt of lighting. It exploded, bodies and smoking debris littering the ocean around them. But they didn't scatter like she hoped they would, which caused her to feel uneasy. Her ships reached their top speeds- surely the line of iron-fronted vessels would cause the Somalian ships to retreat. But no such thing happened. The distance was shrinking now: 500 meters... 300...100... She braced herself as the battle began.

"I'm sorry Sin, but I cannot allow you to go around showing off your true power. It would only cause more assassination attempts and give away our biggest advantage." Ja'far told Sinbad, standing in the doorway so Sinbad could not go above deck. "I can understand not using Focalor... But not even Baal? Everyone in Sindria has seen Baal." Sinbad complained, wanting to be a part of the glory of battle. Ja'far was about to reply but was interrupted by the battle shout from above. The seven generals who were above deck screamed a battle cry as they were in boarding range. However, as they got closer and the giant crash came from the Andorian ships plowing through the Somalians there were no screams of terror as people fell into the ocean and their ships were destroyed. The only thing on the ships was dead bodies of Somalian pirates. An entire fleet of over twenty ships full of dead bodies, with no signs of life. The generals looked around in confusion, Masrur jumped across and onto one of the ships to investigate.

Estre gracefully jumped onto one of the Somalian ships, ready to begin fighting, but none came. Confused, she pulled off her helmet, letting her hair fall behind her. There was no way that her fleet could have just killed the enemy soldiers- and yet, here the the Somalians were, floating dead in the water. Her lieutenant followed after her, ready to defend his queen, but was soon just as confused as she. A sound came from her right- he was Sindrian by the look of his garments, probably one of Sinbad's men.

Masrur looked to Estre, thinking at first it was simply a soldier from Andor so he nodded to her. But after realizing it was the high queen he bowed deeply. "High Queen Estre, it is a pleasure to make your presence." He said in a low, grumbly voice. He stayed bowed, awaiting her response in politeness. On the ship Yamraiha recognized the queen from a distance and sent for Sinbad while the other generals made their way to the ship Masrur and Estre were on. After the crash Sinbad recognized the threat potential and agreed to stay below deck just as a crew member came in and told them that high queen Estre was outside and Yamraiha said he should come see it. Sighing, Ja'far agreed and stepped out of the way.

Estre returned the gesture in the Andorian style: she placed her fist over her heart and bowed her head. "And you as well, Sindrian. Is this the work of you and your king?" she asked, gesturing to the dead bodies. Her lieutenant began inspecting the nearest dead body, looking for an indication of how he died. As the rest of the generals began appearing on the ship, her concern only deepened: this was clearly not their work. None of them had been here until now.

" Oh please, can I show off Baal now?" Sinbad questioned, desperately trying to convince Ja'far who only shook his head and told him no. Masrur stood up straight, replying "No, and it is far too advanced for any trick by the Somalians." As all seven generals jumped over Sinbad came into view, arriving on the deck of his ship escorted by Ja'far. Masrur and Yamraiha investigated the bodies as well, seeing no sign of physical injury besides ones caused post mortem. Making poison or magic the only viable conclusions. "Heligdom..." She hissed under her breath.

"Heligdom... strange" Estre said, lost in thinking. Wouldn't their enemies see the advantage in helping each other? Or were the Heligs too prideful to work with pirates? She straightened, seeing Sinbad on the ship with her. "King Sinbad" she greeted, bowing her head. "It is an honor to meet you." Her lieutenant began sending a message through her fleet to tell them that the threat was eliminated. A few groans of disappointment rose up from the vessels- the will to fight ran through Andorian blood. Missing out on a battle was rarely received as good news.

Sinbad bowed in response, recognizing the queen. "High Queen Estre. The honor is all mine, to be able to see you in battle gear and live to tell the tale is a rare honor." All eight generals bowed in unison when he finished. Ja'far smelt something off in the air, and whispered to Yamraiha. She tapped her staff on the deck and looked down, nodding to Ja'far. He immediately grabbed Sinbad with one hand, and flicked his other wrist to send a small string like line out that hooked into the mast of the Sindrian ship. With a shout he threw Sinbad back onto his ship, guided by the line. "Trap!" was all he could yell as the nearby ships began to explode in a ball of fire. By the looks of it they had about six seconds before their ship was next. Masrur and Hinahoho grabbed the other generals, and any of the Andorian's they could and jumped back to the Sindrian ship.
