Realistic or Modern Zombie Apocalypse

Tammy glanced around the campfire. she listened intently on Hollidays plan he claimed that they should wait until morning. she found it hard to believe anyone would be able to sleep knowing that the kidnappers would be lurking in the rea let alone if they found the camp. Tammy begun to pace. He was right on the end that it was very easy for that group to suspect they would be expecting them to go after these people for taking one of ours. on the other hand what if she escaped? these were issue Tammy had to juggle inside her head and she just ended up freaking herself out. with the flick of a wrist tammy observed holliday whisper something into Miyukis ear and go to his truck he strapped up and left just like that. he had once again gone lone wolf to see what he could do but at least this he would better understand what they would be up against.

Tammy felt exhaustion begin to set in and she begun to feel the effects. Holliday was right even he, the man who seemed to be bulletproof on the outside, had to get some rest. Tammy felt her eyes become lazy despite the adrenaline that lunged through her veins she wanted to fight...she wanted to kill. Tammy did not want this to happen just as miuch as they rest of them, she begun to recall all of jennifers comments about these people possibly being good normal people. people that didn't deserve to lose their lives. She must regret all those things she said about now. Tammy was reluctant the campfire was dying and they ould all only get about 5 hours of sleep until dawn at this pace Tammy thought about it, she drew in a deep breathe and wanted to play it cool but had a hard time speaking.

"I think as hard as this is, they will definitely keep jenn alive at least until morning, their group needs rest as much as we do. Fuck we have not slept in a while and we need this rest. I personally want to follow Tori and go out but until Holliday gets back we cant leave ourselves... I think it finally is time to call it a night." Tammy begun to drift into deeper fears that she held back. " at leat try to get some sleep and all of us need to sleep in pairs or trios possibly. in our vehicles." Tammy walked over to the jeep that was owned or now owned by Tiffany. she climbed in the passanger seat and leaned it all the way back.

The regnant lady sat aside the jeep, she was holding the baby Josh. as she tried to relax once again more shit had to hit the fan. She jumped up and got out running nect to the pregnant woman. she was yelling Miyukis name in pain. "IS SHE GOING INTO LABOR!?" Tammy stammered freaking out. She never witnessed a pregnancy but it could be the first one.

@Shimakage Thunder @Dibbydoo

Miyuki nods over st Holliday. "Alright.....just be careful." She watches the cowboy leave the camp in his truck as she sighs. Clipping the radio to her belt she walk back to the camp. Her mind was all over the place. She felt as if she failed Jen...she let her got captured...she saw it happen yet did nothing. She looks up at the moon in the sky....seeing shine brightly even though Hell was loose on the land. Holliday is right, they need rest to prepair for dawn. Walking back to the camp to make sure everyone was asleep she hears her name being called, from tiffany. Miyuki runs over to the young women as she sees Tammy right there yelling at her. Just by looking at Tiffany she could tell what was happening. "Of course she choose now," Miyuki mutters as she looks over at Tammy, "Go tell the group whats happening." She walks over to Tiffany and helps her sit down, now holding Josh in her arms. "It will be ok," she says as she pulls out the wakie talkie. Praying the isn't catching him at a bad time and feeling bad for using it so soon, she radios up Holliday. "Smokey this is Catnip. We have a bit of an issue.....Tiff's water broke."

@Shimakage Thunder @Lola Shimmer @Dibbydoo

Tiffany was taking deep breaths. Although her water broke, labor was only beginning. She could.only hope that the hospital would be taken soon. "What the hell, this baby isn't even due..." she cried, holding both her belly and her lower back as tears roll dowe her cheeks. However, it wouldn't be long until she could no longer walk. "I can't give birth out here. It's unsanitary and the baby will get sick and probably die. I can't let that happen, she's all that I have left of my-" She was cut off by a contraction, a reasonably strong one.

@tammynorthland @KathleneWilliams2121

While waiting for Holliday to answer, Miyuki looks at Tiffany. She holds her hand tight. "Tiffany, relax. You are just going to make it worst if you worryand stress. We will take care of it...how many months are you?" She asks the soon to be mother as she wonders what she ment by not due yet, "please dont be premature," she thinks as she thinks of a plan for them to do.

@Shimakage Thunder @tammynorthland

As the girl was just about to drift back to sleep after the gun shots, before hearing a cry. She looked, and got up, quickly running toward the lady. She saw that the lady was having strong contractions. She knew how to handle this. Her and her dog ran over, the dog sitting. " Okay, I know how to do this. " she rushed to check. " Oh shit, we can't stop wi if we tried, her water is broken, hurry up and get into position please!" She begged, helping the lady down. " Take deep breaths,dont worry.( My character was studying for a doctors degree few soo :3

When the shot in the distance came and both Miyuki and Holliday ran off he nearly shot after them, instead he moved over by Tiffany's tent and kept an eye out just in case. He wasn't about to leave the pregnant woman alone in the event there were more out there. The teens returned and gave the news and it only ended up as fuel for Austin's original idea, We should have skipped town. Was his first and only thought to begin with, staying silent for the foreseeable future.

Austin just shook his head as he watched Holliday leave, "There he goes again." The man had mumbled. And of course later Tiffany started to go into labor and Nikole was setting up as if she knew exactly what she was doing. The man moved into the tent no matter if any protests came, "When have you ever delivered a baby?" He asked the girl as he lowered onto his knees beside her. Hell, he'd been a firefighter for ten years and had only ever been there for one single delivery, and he'd only been assisting at the time not actually doing the delivering.

She looked over at Austin as she reached into her bag and pulled out two gloves and a surprisingly clean sheet . " I've done two emergencies and watched a hospital one, plus I studied a degree in health and medical sciences. So I'd say I'm pretty eperianced." She said, helping Tiff down lightly onto the shee. " Okay, Tiff, I need you to get on your hands and knees and tipmyourmhead downwards. Your water may break but you don't have to give birth of its premature, I'll see what colour it is and how much came out. If it is a pinking fleshy tone and is a little too much, You may have to either give birth prematurely or take the risk of you and your baby getting an infection." She said, helping her on her hands and knees,having a towel ready just In case. She wore the gloves and sighed, looking at her. " Deep breaths, yeah? Calm breaths." She said, being stressed. With not much medical equipment, it was a little hard for her, but she managed. Once tiff got on her hands and knees, out out her hands on her back softly, to see how strong the contractions were." Can anyone tell me how far in she is in her pregnancy please?,in weeks?

Miyuki shakes her head as she sees everyone start to worry about the soon to be new born. She looks at Austin and Tammy, "This is her first child and her water just broke...it will take a good 12 hours before the baby decides to pop his or her head out. What this does mean is that we are pressed for time. We need to get that hospital taken over and quickly in order for Tiffany and the baby to both be safe." She then looks at Tiffany, "Tiff, i hate to say this but you are out of the plan. With the child on the way you need to take it easy." Then looking at Austin and Tammy, "Both of you go to sleep. We need all the rest we can in order for Holliday's plan to work and we can't afford any mistakes. We leave tomorrow at dawn." Miyuki felt a little odd giving orders but they had to sleep. She on the other hand was going to stay up with Tiffany to make sure she was ok before getting some sleep herself.

Tammy just couldn't seem to catch a break no matter what she did something new always happened. At least the baby was due quite yet. They had to overtake that hospital as soon as possible. One thing she did know is that she was truly existed any sleep would be neccesarry.

Tammy begun to get back into the jeep and relax over time. It felt like hours passed by but finally just finally she was able to get at least a little bit of sleep. Despite all the shit hitting the fan around her she was finally able to relax enough to sleep

When asked about how far along she was, Tiffany decided to take a deep breath in response to the pain she was currently in. "Thirty-Eight Weeks and Four Days..." she responded before continuing to take breaths to steadily ease the pain. Finally Tiffany got on her hands and knees, but it seemed like the girl knew what she was doing, so she wasn't too concerned. Tears were already rolling down her cheeks. "Have a baby, they said. Its the most joyous occasion in life, they said." She said, her voice full of sarcasm, wanting to ease the stress so it could be easier on her and the baby, since stress is pretty much the most dangerous silent killer. When Miyuki said that she was out of it, Tiffany reluctantly agreed. "Yeah, you're right, I'm not stepping into a war zone if this baby is about to pop out...But if anything, I want you to be there with me when its time to deliver my little bundle of joy...If that's okay."

@KathleneWilliams2121 @tammynorthland @Dibbydoo

A whole lot of releif flowed out of her when she said thirty eight weeks. " Oh fuck that's relieving.." She sighed out, watching as she girl got on her hands and knees. She lifted her dress quickly, and grabbed a sanitary whipe from her bag, cleaning her legs from any dirt and grime that could cause infection, cleaning around her legs too before removing her under garment. The dress had slipped down, to ensure the girl didn't get embarrassed. She took another animate white, only a few left, and whipped, checking what colour the water was. She smiled, thankfully it was clear. She tossed it aside and sat beside her, begning to massage her back properly to ease the contractions. Just in case she committed, her dog dragged a bowl infront of the girl, barking. Nikole shushed the dog, and began to massage her belly too, swapping from her belly to her back, and vice Vera a few times. " Tell me if you feel anything of concerns, okay?" She checked under her dress for the crown of the child's head in aske anything happened, lucky there was nothing.

@Shimakage Thunder @KathleneWilliams2121 @tammynorthland

After a couple of minutes, Tiffany just tried to find a more comfortable position. She felt much more relieved when Nikole started massaging her back and her belly since it eased the contractions and the pain. When she heard the dog bark, she looked over at it. "Yeah, I"ll be sure to let you know. These Contractions are gonna get worse over the next couple of hours...I just hope I have a bed by the afternoon since god knows how long I'll be in labor..." She sighed. "I think the dog is hungry. Go ahead and go feed him so he doesn't starve."

@Dibbydoo

She looked at the dog as she massaged the girl, laughing." She knows how to catch food. She caught a rabbit, and ate it. She didn't even share, greedy. " d, putting the girl at ease. " Alright, you stopped leaking, and your contractions are more further apart... So, do you know what gender the baby is?" She asked, her voice kind and reassuring. " Are you thirsty? Contractions are dehydrating. You should probably have a drink, here. " she out the flats infront Of her and slipped the draw in so she didn't tip her hair too farl

Miyuki looks over at Tiffany and smiles at the young soon to be mother, "I will try to be there." She honestly had no idea if she was going to be alive after the mission to be with her while she gives birth. This mission, with how many people were out, was going from bad to worst. With what Holliday said........well it stood out to her....shook her up a little. She felt movement in her arms as she looks down and sees Josh, remembering that she picked him up from Tiffany. She was surprised how good he was being, not crying but was just looking around. Miyuki looks at Tiffany, then the camp. "We need this plan to work.....it has to work." Looking over at the girl who was helping Tiff she listens to what she said about water. "Here, I got it," She says as she hands a bottle to Tiffany. What she doesn't say was that was her last one but she didn't want the young mother to feel guilty for taking it. "Shouldn't she lie or sit down, for now since the baby won't be here for a little bit," She asks the girl, wanting Tiff to get some rest as she held Josh in her arms.

@Shimakage Thunder @Dibbydoo

" She should, but until the contractions are twenty minutes apart she'll have to stay in the natural position. Or, until she wants to. She has to be at ease." She said, feeling her belly and counting down from the contractions carefully, soon enough letting go and rubbing her eyes . She had dark spots under them, and they seemed even darker because of her pale skin.

((I'm trying to give everyone a chance to post ^^))

Tiffany did her best to try and get comfortable, since the position she was in wasn't at all that comfortable to her. If anything, she'd be happy with a bed. Sighing at each contraction, but they weren't as strong compared to when her water broke, which was not too long ago. After drinking a bit of water to get some fluids into her body, she wiped some sweat off of her forehead. "I'm having a girl." She answered when Nikole asked if she new the gender of her baby, which she did. Not wanting to stay outside, Tiffany decided to go ahead and rest inside her tent, but needed help getting there. "Can you get me to my tent. I'd like to be somewhere more comfortable then around dirt and undergrowth." she said.

@Dibbydoo @KathleneWilliams2121

Miyuki nods her head as she helps Tiffany up, "I will help her into her tent, you go to sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. If something happens I will wake you up." Miyuki then helps Tiffany over to her tent and helps her lie down. "There you go....easy...there," She says as she makes sure the young mother is comfortable. "Try to get some sleep, if any. I need to keep watch of the camp, make sure nothing else happens....here's Josh, I think he would be more comfortable away from the cold. If anything happens, call me." Miyuki smiles over at Tiffany as she walks out of the tent and walks past the fire. Putting more fuel into it she climbs up a tree to get a better view of the camp. Shivering a little from the cold, she knew that they all would need warmer clothes and a safe place as winter was approaching. Pulling out her bow and her arrows from her quiver, she waits for Holliday to return and for the sun to shine for their plan to go underway.

@Shimakage Thunder @Dibbydoo @Tombstone

Austin was a bit worried at the beginning, but surprisingly enough the two young girls surprised him. The man sat quietly and let them run the show and instead just kept an eye out, staying close enough that if they wanted his help he was there and at the same time paying attention in case he needed to intervene. The pipsqueak had somehow managed to deliver two babies, she barely looked old enough to be out of puberty. Austin guessed that was part of why she was still alive, there was more to her than she let off.

Miyuki strayed off to take up watch and Austin was going to use that as a chance to rest, he was exhausted after the last 24 hours. However rest wouldn't come quickly, the cogs in his mind turning up until the moment he was out cold.

She nodded at the girl, watching her walk off to the tent to help her. She picked up her towl and whipped the dirt off the bottom, being carefull of where to put her stuff, packing up. She used her bag as a pillow, laying her head on it, and closing her eyes.

Her dog licked its paws, before trotting off. It met Austin, staring at him with a tilt of the head. The dog walked and sniffed his feed, before licking his legs happily, trusting him because Nikole had no problem with him. The dog sat, staring at the sleeping man.

Static filled the silence in the cabin of the truck, and was then followed by Miyuki's voice. Of course, as always the news was of the bad kind. "Son of a bitch!" Holliday swore for the hundredth time that night. He shook his head in disbelief as he continued down the road, if it wasn't one thing it was another. Holliday grabbed the walkie talkie and held it close to his lips. The he pressed the button on the side and waited three seconds before speaking. "Perfect. Well someone is definitely going to have to stay with her the entirety of tomorrow. Fuck. Figure out who its going to be, but only one person can stay. We need as many people as we can. I'll launch my attack alone tomorrow, the rest of you guys will go as a group." Holliday took a deep breath. "Well here is some good new for you guys, I came across two undead cops wearing bullet proof vests. I killed them and took the armor, it's here for two of you when you leave in the morning. Ill be reaching the hospital soon and will try and report back. Holliday out."

Holliday tossed the walkie talkie onto the passenger seat and groaned in irritation. Why did the world have to constantly work to remind him just how fucked up it was. By now he was already driving through town, slow enough that he could find his way in the dark, and fast enough that he could out pace any zeds lurking about. He weaved his way in out of side streets, slowly making his way to the hospital. When he was about two blocks away, he parked in a back alley roughly 100 yards from the designated meeting spot. Holliday took his walkie talkie, a pair of binoculars, some matches, a small mirror, his winchester rifle, and his twin six-guns with him and set off.

The streets were eerily quiet, not even walkers were about. Holliday immediately found this odd and all his senses told him to be careful. In response, Holliday hugged the buildings closely, and moved at a snails pace. He tried to walk as lightly as possible, not wanting to make even the slightest clomp. Finally he rounded the corner of a tall building and witnessed a single zed, slowly creeping in his direction. A second later a sharp clasp like thunder rang out several stories above him. Holliday quickly covered his ears, and watched as the zed fell to the ground. So that was it, there was a forward sniper. Probably a scout to alert the bandits if anyone approached and to take out any wandering zeds. How Holliday managed to go unnoticed, he did not no. Still he was grateful that he had, because that would have been a huge detriment to their original plan. Now he had the opportunity to take him out, an opportunity he couldn't afford to give up.

Holliday quietly slunk into the building, something he figured was once an old apartment. He made his way through the lobby and walked over the corpses of both the dead and the undead. The latter was a good sign, it meant they had taken the liberty to clear the place out before they put their man in the roof above. Holliday pulled out his iPhone and used the flash light app to guide his path. After a minute of carful searching, he managed to find the stairwell.

Holliday went up and up, until he arrived on the fourth floor. Down below on the directory, he read that there had been five floors total. He knew that the shot had to have at least come from this floor, but he wasn't sure. So he decided he would search this floor first, rather than risk having the marksman hear him clomping around above his head. Holliday carefully walked through the hall, listening for any movement. He jolted slightly when he heard another loud thunderclap come from right above, though it had lost it's sharpness due to the wall around. Holliday smiled and turned back towards the stairs.

Now that he was on the right floor, Holliday had an easier time tracking down his target. He heard the man speaking from down the hall. Not as if he were talking to himself, no it sounded as if he was holding a conversation with another. Where there two people in the sniper's nest? If there were Holliday would have to reconsider his options.

Holliday eventually found the room he was searching for and cupped his hands against the door. He slowly put his ear up to them, trying to listen in. What he heard was the familiar crackle and static of a walkie talkie. Holliday smiled at this revelation, his job was now much easier. The voice coming from the radio choked on, but Holliday couldn't catch everything that was said. He had to do a little guesswork, but he was able to make out the gist of the conversation.

".....ang it Hathcock, rules are rules. You ...re to report in each ..ot you fire over the ra...io. Not my descicio......... coming from th... Colonel."

The sniper inside seemed to growl a bit at this. "It was just another god damn dead brain! Same as it was just 10 fucking minutes ago. Those are the only fucking things around here to shoot! Im going bored out of my mind."

The man on the radio replied in a tone showing that he was less than amused by that reply. "Quiet. You'll follow you're ...mned instructions. We capt.....d their bitch. They'll come fo... ...er. Cant say when b.... they'll come. You're covering our g...ds at the front ent...nce. We're on high a....rt! If I hear a fucki... shot I want to ...ear everything from you immedi....ly. Do you understand!"

Than sniper seemed a little hesitant. He obviously was annoyed by the hassle, but at the same time feared making the man on the radio angry. "It was just fucking corps..."

"DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND!!!" The voice on the radio yelled.

"Ye...Yes sir," the sniper stammered, obviously not wanting to push him further.

"Good. ...at is all." The voice on the radio said in a more hushed manner.

Several moments of silence fell over the room. Eventually the sniper huffed and shifted about. Then he said something along the lines of, "Fuck you Redman." Holliday set crouched outside the door, trying to think of ways to deal with the obvious problem which the sniper posed. Eventually a metaphorical light bulb lit above his head, and he decided to take a gamble.

Holliday slowly stood, and walked down the hall as silently as he could. Then grabbed his trusty Kukri machete. Once his blade was in hand, he shuffled back towards the door, loud enough for the hand inside to hear. At the same time he let out a long drawn out groan. Holliday was a little surprised how much it sounded like those which the undead made. "Shit!!!" he heard the guy inside yell. It was followed by the sounds of him moving around quickly.

Holliday bumped up against the door a few times, and messed with the handle. This would give the impression he couldn't get in, meaning the sniper would have a little time to think. Holliday heard what he believed to be the action of a fire arm closing and cringed. But after a few seconds there was no further movement. Finally the man inside clunked something down. "You fucking undead bastard aren't worth my time or the bullet. Ill fucking bash your skull in so I don't have to talk to that ass hole again. I hope you don't mind."

The door opened and the man swung a metal pipe at Holliday's head. The sniper was terribly surprised to find that the presumed dead head parried his blow with the blunt side of a machete. Holliday smirked as he quickly swung the blade and slashed the man across the chest. Still surprised the man lost his balance and fell to the floor. However he immediately tried to scramble for the pistol which he had loaded second prior. He never made it.

Holliday brought the machete down on the man's back several times until he was sure the spine was damaged beyond repair. When done, Holliday slumped against the wall and looked over the man which he had just kill. The sniper looked to have been in his mid to late 30's. Probably about 5'10" or 5'11" and weighing about 180 pounds. All around smaller in build than Holliday was.

After a few moments of rest, Holliday looked around the room. He found that the man's pistol was a an 9mm Glock. Holliday didn't bother to figure out which particular model as he never really cared for the brand. Besides, he was more interested in the rifle. It was an old Springfield 1903 in 30-06, the kind of rifle a novice could pick up and hit bull's eyes at 100 yards. He'd use extra special care to make sure that someone in his group would get their hands on it.

After drooling over the weaponry, Holliday locked the door to the room once more and began going through the other items. What he spent most of his attention on was the walkie talkie. The device was set to channel 10, but there was no chatter from other devices. Out of curiosity, Holliday synced it to the same channel which his used and found them compatible. He figured that it could pose a problem, so he'd have to make sure he kept his contact with the rest of the group down to the bare minimum. Holliday then returned the sniper's walkie back to its original channel and then played around with all the others on his own.

Eventually Holliday stumbled upon some activity, and found that it was the channel which the men inside the hospital where using. He turned the volume up a bit and set the walkie talkie next to the window. Next he pulled out his binoculars and used them to scan the building. There were several lights on inside, and the beams cast out through the windows and into the surrounding yards. Because of this Holliday was able to catch the outlines of 3 guards manning the front entrance. Two were by the door, one further out front by the parking lot. It was too dark for him to tell what gear they had, but it didn't matter as they would probably rotate out with others.

The conversation over the radio was more or less boring. Mostly just orders on where to bring supplies. A few times he heard mention of a man called the Colonel, whom Holliday could only assume to be the leader of the band. He also made a mental note of where all the supplies were coming and going. It seemed the most of the meds were being stockpiled on the bottom floor in the back, west end. That info could come in handy. After about a half hour he heard a tidbit of information concerning a new prisoner. It had to be Jen,

Based on what he heard, she was tied to a bed and had already been interrogated by the Redman guy. It seemed that she hadn't been tortured to any extreme or at all really. In fact they would rather have her unhurt because of the disciples or something. Either way it seemed like Jennifer had a good bit of time. The oly thing he found disappointing was the lack of her exact location. He only wished he could send some kind of a signal to her, perhaps through the walkie talkies maybe. No, it would be risky and wouldn't work.

Holliday sighed, and decided to report to the group. "Miyuki, this is Holliday." He said into the little device. Hopefully it would transmit as he changed it back to the proper channel. "Ive secured a safe position by the hospital and taken out an enemy sniper. Ive also managed to tune into the enemies radio frequency. From what Ive heard, Jen is currently alright. Please keep you reply short and succinct. If I can tune into their waves they can tune into mine. I hope to see you at dawn, we'll bring Jen home. Holliday out."

Holliday then slumped up against the wall and slowly sat down. He retuned his radio back to the enemy coms, hoping to hear some more news. His eyes grew heavy and he eventually shut them, handing the world off to his ears. Seconds slowly passed by, eventually turning into minutes. Minutes seemed to turn into hours, though it couldn't have possibly been that long. Only when it felt that time itself was slowing to a stop, sleep overtook him.

Her hair was soaked with sweat and blood. Her face was scattered and dripping with blood. Her eyes shed tears. Her clothing was torn and battered. It too was covered in blood. Soaked, actually. Her breathing was sharp and erratic. And not too far away from her lay the bodies of two people; the person she killed and the person murdered.

This was survival now. Survival wasn't about being kind and helping others, it was about doing what it took to live. This also meant whether or not you had to take the lives of people in the process. This was a cruel fact that Jennifer was having a hard time accepting. She didn't want it to be true. Killing people, even if they were bad, was not easy. Unfortunately, she has had to kill people to live. And just when she thought she was getting used to it and accepting it, she realized she wasn't. But the reality of the situation is that she would have to kill many more times before this night and the following day were over. She had to accept it. She had to do it.

She lowered her rifle, and sighed. Chances are that she would have to use this rifle until she got out. She was familiar with the AR-15. She built one as her first gun. The one she took from Tommy's dead body seemed to be nice. Thankfully, it itself was suppressed. That meant if she had be stealthy, the sound of the rifle wouldn't be an issue.

Her crying and fear started to subside. She knew what the next 24 hours would be like; fight and survive or give up and die. As she was trying to come to terms with this, the sudden sound of what seemed to be a radio and a voice echoed in the room. Jennifer jumped, and pointed her rifle around. On her feet, she walked towards the body of Tommy. Lighting up on his belt was a walkie talkie. Jennifer grabbed it, and looked for a volume button. The radio was on max volume. If someone came looking for him, the echoing, loud sound of his radio could lead them into the room, which would be real trouble for Jennifer. Finding the volume control, she lowered it down to a quiet one. Jennifer retreated back to her original spot she sat at and cried after she killed Tommy. Being near his corpse and Irene's made Jennifer feel sick. She sat and listened to the walkie talkie. There was some interference, but it seemed that they were talking about a guard popping off sounds at walkers. It seemed that they were angry he was wasting the ammo, because the hospital was in high alert. The more she listened to the conversation, the more she heard this name of someone they called "The Colonel". Jennifer could only assume that this was the person who was in charge. It was at this moment that Jennifer remembered something; Holiday had a radio too. Filled with excitement, Jennifer took the radio, and tried to see how she could connect to his frequency. As she dialed in to different frequencies, she could hear different groups chatting. But with every turn she made, she was unable to find Holiday's frequency. She was worried that if she tried, she would pick up the wrong frequency, and alert everyone in the hospital she wasn't restrained to the bed like their prisoner. Frustrated, Jennifer cursed and put the radio down. Her small glimmer of hope quickly vanished. She immediately felt alone again, thinking that her hopes of communicating with him would result him helping her.

Jennifer's head quickly sunk down into her hands. She was alone, she was helpless. She was trapped, and her only means of getting out of her relied on her group coming for her. Does her group even know what happened to her? An equally scary thought, just as being alone, Jennifer felt the weight of the situation on her shoulders. What could she ever do? Could she use the walkie talkie to her advantage? Or would she ultimately fail? Maybe, but she would need to first make sure her door wasn't locked. Getting up, Jennifer walked to the door. Grabbing a handle, she twisted it. But it would not turn. She was locked in.

"Fuck," she muttered under her breath.

She was truly stuck in the room. She had no was to escape. She could attempt to shoot the door's lock. But by the looks of it, there were more than just one lock. And even then, the sound of the projectiles hitting the wood and metal would make a loud noise. There wasn't any single way she could possibly make it out of the room quietly. She either had to wait until someone opened the door, or her group came. If someone came to the door, maybe she wouldn't have to kill them. Maybe she could drug them. This did seem to be a surgical room, and there were drugs on one counter. Walking towards them, she picked them up and read them. They were general anesthetics. She could avoid killing someone if they come into the room. Maybe this would be her best option. Grabbing a syringe, she looked at the drugs. Being that she was under sedation a lot with her medical procedures, she would often research the medication. Looking at the drugs there, she was familiar with them. Once she came to the bottle of Midazolam, she put the needle in, and sucked up some of it, more than enough needed to sedate. However, she knew this wouldn't put them to sleep right away. Instead, she knew that she would have to put the person to sleep once they entered the room. Then, she could inject the sedative. Turning the syringe upside down so the needle was facing upwards, she flicked it to get any air bubbles out. Once satisfied, she went to the other side of the door, behind where it opens. This way, if someone were to come in, she had the element of surprise. Next, she flipped the light switch. Now on one could see the gruesome, bloody mess that would lie before them. With the syringe in hand, and the rifle slung over her shoulder, she was ready to fight to survive, and hopefully not have to kill anyone in the process, unless absolutely necessary to survive.

Tammy awoke from yet again another night sleeping in abandoned cleared out rooms. This time instead of a trailer park she was inside of a warehouse in the storage closet. The whole place was chained down it seemed to have been abandoned even before the world had its demise. Tammy had 3 filing cabinets baricade the door so unwelcome visitors would have a difficult time entering. She slept on boxes that she crushed into her makeshift bed. It, of course, was not very comfortable but every night she found the ability to sleep she took it. Just 2 days ago she recalled that message. Telling her about the horde. She knew someone was following her at that time. Although no sign has occurred after that to show the appearance of the one who did it. She wondered if the person still followed her or ran on his own way to get away. Either way it's not worth her chancing it. She got up and collected her equipment.

She climbed down from the window she entered from and was off once again. She begun to wonder if she'd ever come across a group of people that were civilized. She began to think 'is this gonna be how I live everyday of my life?' What's gonna happen if I need help?' These questions she asked herself made her strike fear. She was alone. No one came to help her during her life in the apartment and she definitely wouldn't get any help now. She had to fight alone or die alone.

"Fight or die alone" She breathed walking south of the warehouse. Tammy had a system. If there were clear paths she'd take them she avoided the bodies at all cost that way and taking trails and beaten up roads with less cars proved that walking bodies were bound to be in smaller numbers.if she encounter a body. She silenced it. 2 to 5 she would do the same. Anything above she'd avoid or if she had to fight she'd pick them off. Now if they were herds, well.... she ran. She can't chance things by herself and tammy knew she had no chance with her pistol considering she didn't know how to use one. It was all hand to hand.

Hours of walking passed by she was lucky today aND managed to encounter only a handful of corpsers. She decided it'd be best to stop and search for supplies since time was on her side today. After analysing her map she discovered about 2 miles south was a small town. At least small enough to have a name on the map. She didn't know the population but it wasn't a familiar town so it had to be small.

About an hour of traveling she chalked her watch the time was about noon she was making great pace. Great time little fighting. Her mind begun to plot escape plans upon entering the streets of the small town. Just like she suspected.the cars in the area seemed abandoned or relatively missing.

"Did they evacuate this town?" She said thinking aloud.

Despite that there were 3 bodies around the corner of the street she was about to cross. They didn't seem to detect her. She ran up to the 1st corpser crowbar at full wielding the body did not detect her until it was to late. The hooked end of the crowbar entered the spinal collumn of the rotting carcass silencing it quickly. She drew out the bar and reentered a fighting pose. The 2nd and third walked toward her and another swing thudded the 2nd in the neck hearing a Crack as it fell on the asphalt. The third caught her off surprise as he had a hard hat off disabling the first hitting but knocking the corpser off balance as it fell on top of her. Her crowbar fell out of her hand upon the fall and her head hit the ground. She held her arms into the undead bodies neck preventing the jaws from digging into her skin. Adrenaline flowed through her body. She was dioriented from the hit of her head and her strength was dimming from the pain. The corpser tried to dig into her neck as she finally grabbed leverage to throw it off of her she tried to then stand up. Upon standing a gunshot rang her ears causing her to flinch. She watched the body lie with a hole inside it's head. Blood poured out.

Upon getting up she was tackled again by a man with a full beard. He wore a black hat and held the gun in his right hand she immediately tried fighting again."get the fuck off!!!" She screamed. He grunted and she tried to fight him off her arms were pinned by his knees. And she was now at gunpoint.

"That's a nice face you got missy." He spat at her.

"Get the fuck off!" She called.

He smiled, "I will but your not gonna be alive to stand back up." He stated.

She trembled trying to fight.

"You need to calm down miss here's what's gonna happen your gonna tell me who your with and where your from. Then your gonna give me your gear. Of course You'll be dead for that part." He chuckled looking up.

She had to think quick. She didn't see a way to escape. But then again.... her legs were free.

' think outside the box' she smiled a bit from her previous lesson of the corpsersdrawn to sound. She trusted her knee with all her might into the bearded man's groin. He screamed dropping the gun grabbing the family jewels which must have suffered damage. The gun smacked her face and fell to the side she used her leverage and managed to thrust him off to the left as he scrambled for the gun. He managed to pick it up before she as it was closer to him

She scooted back kicking his hand with the gun as he fired a shot that zipped past her head. Her hand fumbled somrthing upon scooting back. Her crowbar. She was disarmed from the corpser.

Her fingers wrap around it as the man tried to reaim she swung as hard as she could disarming him with a bone crushing hit of the cold steel to the man's hand. He must have weighed 170 with a medium build or so in his 40s. She scrambled to her feet and he tried as well out of fear she smashed the bar over his arm. The hit would break bones but it wouldn't feel good She scrambled for the pistol picking it up. She pointed it at him.

"Are you the one following me?!" She demanded to know.

He rolled over hands in the air looking blankly. Tammy was shaking.

"No.. wh-" He coughed still in pain hand bloody. "What are you talking about?"

Tammy asked again.

"I I don't know what your talking about." He lowered his hands slowly and massaged his bloody hand from the pain. She was an arms reach from him and took a step back.

" then why attack me?!" She demanded answers.

Silence.

"Answer me mother fucker!" She called out. He was silent.

With his good hand before tammy could detect it he whipped his hand out from behind his back. He had another firearm....

He drew it quickly toward tammy and she squeezed her hands out of fear.

BANG!

His body sat up for a minute tammy opened her eyes and looked... she shot him....in the eye. His face oozing dark red blood. Her mind couldn't comprehend what just happened. She shook violently watching his cold lifeless body slap against the black hardened tar on the ground.

She killed him... Tammy leaned overand fell to her knees from the shock.why didn't he just answer her.

Tammy vomited. She shivered and shook. The cold sweats felt like it rolled down her face and quivered through her body.

" I..... I killed someone..." She said shakingly. "Why did this have to happen." She said.

It felt like an hour but tammy stood up finally to the sound of a herd on its way through town. She couldn't take her eyes off of his lying on the side of his face in the cold asphalt. 'What did I just do...' Tammy dropped the gun. And grabbed hers and his gear and bolted off without haste and the bodies begun to Walt their way into the streets of the small town.

Hours passed tammy searched the bag she stole from him. "Well he was telling the truth." He must have been alone like me." He had most the typical gear she had food some water some gauze for injuries. Aside from that the bag had no clues there were spray paint ever in here. She found his id. "Donald parkinstrum... his adress is in this town." She said hiding out in a homes garage. He was local. Must have came back for supplies. Sone one was still watching her that meant. Or maybe they truly were just giving a friendly warning. Regardless she murdered a human that was living today. Something she never wanted to do. But she did it. She was scared. Trying to stay alive. He would have killed her if she didn't pull that trigger. That was the first time she fired a gun. She held up the car keys twisting them in her fingers they were shiny and equipped with the rest of the owners house keys. She cleaned up the gear she sorted through in the car. She was inside a newer car it was a coupe. A nissan 370z by the name on the back. She turned over the engine.... it started up.

Miyuki looks down at her radio as she remains quiet. Hearing Holliday giving an update was comforting, knowing that Jen was alright....or at least as all right she could be in a base full of murderers. She looks up, though the branches of the trees to see the dark sky with the moon and stars that seemed to still shine bright. While looking up, she got lost in thought,

"How did this go so wrong so fast......first we didn't find enough pills for Jen, then Skylynn died, then we lost the Mill, then Jen got kidnapped, then Tiffany is giving birth in a few hour...how did this all go down the drain?"

Miyuki sighs as she tilts her head down and looks at the camp, "I failed to help Jen....I let her get captured. I could have done something, anything, to stop it and yet all i did was sit in a tree...tomorrow this plan has to work, I owe it to her to get her back."

Miyuki sighs as she goes deep into her bag and pulls out a small bottle of pills, caffeine pills. She found them about a month ago as they helped her stay up when she felt unsafe to sleep in a location, and with her going on only four hours of sleep the night before, Lord knows she needed them now. Taking two of them she closes the bottle and puts it back in her bag.

"This is going to be a long night."
