Realistic or Modern Zombie Apocalypse

Tammy witness the famous word exit hollidays mouth. She knew the meaning. In school before the world ended she recalled reading a story by an early Latin writer. The writer used that phrase to describe a group of imbisules that wouldn't learn and had to be taught the painful way.

Tammy was frustrated . She stood up and cracked her back. "Sleep..." She tanted. "Fuck" She groaned.

Tammy walked past toward hollidays direction. She had mixed feeling about these people integrity. She recalled the Moves she's had to make in her past and the dice she threw upon doing them. She scratched her arm. She eventually found not just holliday but miyuki as well. Tammy was silent thinking to herself.

'What's with these people. What are they thinking? He who hesitates gets cracked' she knew her gain from the attackers was nothing and by her attacking she'd have the upper hand. What if they scouted the area? To ensure they were hostile? Or snuck in and stole supplies under their belts? These ideas were now up in proposal she sat next to holliday who perched up on a tree and faced him she sat about a foot away her legs crisscrossed.

@Tombstone @KathleneWilliams2121

Holliday didn't bother to sit up to address the approaching Miyuki "Not a great one either" He was his reply to Miyuki's first comment, but he rolled his eyes at the next. "If I'm lucky I'll live long enough for it to kill me. As things stand however, I probably won't. So I don't really care." He grabbed a stick beside him and then slowly drew the knife from his boot. The bit into the wood and then tore its way all the way to the end. "As far as the plan goes," he said as he continued to whittle away, "It looks as if we are going to go ask the bandits for help, not forgetting our please and thank you mind you. Then we will all hold hands and skip outside to where they keep their magic pot o' gold. When we get there however, Bernie Sanders will show up riding a unicorn and whisk us all away over the rainbow into a magical land far away from this hell." He faltered for a moment. "There is no plan, not anymore. Two many of them tuck-tailed. At best it would be me, you, and maybe Tammy."

As if to prove his point Tammy came strolling over. "They aren't thinking," He quickly replied, "They're subconsciously giving into their hopes that there is still some good left in this world. I know I may sound a bit like the governor, but I know people. While some can be overly passionate, others can be inherently cruel. The passionate ones don't last in this kind of world, who do you think is left after that? We can't really do anything now. 8 against 20, Id say we could do it if we played smart.. Just the three of use though, HA there is no chance in hell. The way it's looking is like Austin will get his wish and we'll end up leaving. Its just.....damn, I just don't know."

Miyuki sighs as she looks down at the ground. She related to Holliday but could see the other's points as well. "Trust me, I don't want to do it. I honestly hate ending lives of other people and would try to avoid it if I can.....Only reason I want to go ahead with this plan if for Tiffany and Jen. Jen needs pills and without it she will die......Tiffany, admitting it or not, is having contractions already, I can tell from how she is in pain. It's only a matter of time before her water brakes and we will have another child on our hands...." She takes out one of her arrows and looks at it. "I think people are just tired, sad, and just have a lot on their mind. I think we should still make a plan, for just in case." Miyuki didn't know if they were going to the hospital or not but in case something were to happen, they had an idea of what to do.

Jennifer thank Miyuki, and went on over to take guard duty. Looking around, she saw nothing but blackness in the forest. What little she could see was sustained by the fire. Though, this wasn't much light. And with the thickness of the forest, it is almost impossible to see. Thankfully, Jennifer hunted a bit before things went to shit. She learned some basics, such as tracking and a sharp ear. While the forest was darker than the depths of hell, she could rely on her sense of hearing.

While she was out, looking around and listening for potential threats, she overheard Holiday and Miyuki talking about the raid. Holiday sounded as if he didn't want to go through with the plan, and was upset by people's turn of opinions. Jennifer sat there and began to think about it some more. Was it really necessary they did this? She couldn't figure out the answer to it. While her morals are saying no, the survivor side of her is saying yes, and that she needs those pills to live. But what if he is right? What if they are a bunch of sadistic animals who prey on the weak and steal and kill to live? They did earlier to the group. But did the rest really deserve that? Jennifer sat and pondered for a little longer on what she should do.

"Holiday," she said, looking over to him briefly. "You should still go over the plan. I never said I wouldn't be a part of it. I said I didn't know if I did want to be. I'm not going to like it one bit. But you should still go over it. Austin will probably change his mind come time to attack it. I don't want to do it, but if I have to, I will. But it doesn't mean I'm going to like it. Pitch the plan out so we all have an idea of what you want to do. I'll at least listen to what you want to do. Maybe you'll change my mind, and maybe others."

While her moral side of her was telling her this isn't right, the logic side of her is saying that she doesn't know if these people have any good ones with them. Her feelings keep flip flopping on this because of how little she knows.

Nikole woke up with a hold, but calmed as she heard the safe sounds of the fire crackling and the murmuring voices. She looked to her dog, who was exhausted, and was gladly asleep. She sat up, her white hair still being dry and red from the blood and dirt . She sighed lightly, hugging herself. These people helped her.. Or, more per say person. And even if they turned on end, she knew how to get her way out. But These people had a pregnant woman and a baby, along with a woman seriously needing pills. Sure, Nikole did have to take her Iron pills, but she manged to live without them for a while, getting her iron a different way

Not a second later after he'd made his decision he heard someone coming from behind him. One of the girls likely. Turning halfway with his mouth open and about to speak he realized his mistake, should have looked. One of the undead was already on him, having somehow made it this close without his knowledge. Austin took a step backwards as his hand fumbled with the machete handle with the blade sheathed, nearly tripping into the river in the process.

Finally he got the blade free and swiped at the figures head just as it neared, and of course it would collapse towards him causing the two to fall into the shallow banks of the water. Austin huffed as he pushed the body off of him and looked down at his half drenched clothes, "Great." He grumbled with the excitement of a child being told he was going to the dentist. More movement from above had him looking up and expecting more, only to see the blonde hair that belonged to Tori. "They send you to come get me?" He asked, not really surprised. Grunting he stood up out of the marshy bank bit and walked back up onto dry land.

Tammy intently listened to the two converse. She didn't make a sound. She then listened to the ideas they proposed and how he brought up some govenor. Although clueless she did not act upon it she sat silent. Her leggings were filthy and she'd kill for a shower. Or just wash in that river. 'Ya that would work.' She chanted inside her head. She started to almost rock back and forth she was currently armed with the crowbar which sat a few inches from fingergrip.tammy sighed she looked at holliday only. She probably should say something but she was still silent. Kind of wierd really. Sitting facing holliday not any reason she did it except to watch behind him and he'd watch behind her. But miyuki and jenn were both with tammy and longshot. She started to really question this plan and begun to agree more and more with holliday. They needed this they needed these supplies. But holliday tried to push the plan forward. With little to now support there's no chance getting these supplies would be easy or even feasible.

"I suggest we do what miyuki said." Tammy said half awake

@Tombstone @KathleneWilliams2121 @Jennifer Shotain

Both Austin and Tori returned to camp, the man moving straight for the fire and putting his soaked backside to it to try and dry it some. Crossing his arms he looked at the group of others, stopping on Holliday. "I'll help. I'll help you all take the hospital and make sure it's secure..." There was a slight pause as the inevitable but was coming, "...but afterwards, I'm gone. Moving on with my original plan to head towards the east coast."

Miyuki looks over at Austin. On one hand she isn't surprised that he wanted to go solo from the start. She got that vibe from him. She was however shocked that he wanted to leave after everything. "So you can do what? Go lone wolf? You are going to die doing that. Why don't you want to stay in a group with us? I mean we have more people watching one another's back plus backup if you get yourself into a situation" The more Miyuki thought about it, a group was the best thing in this world of hell

@Crono @Tombstone @tammynorthland @Jennifer Shotain

"Give me a moment a think." Holliday had originally told Miyuki. He was in a bit of a tough spot. It was like asking him to plan a winning chess strategy with only 3 pieces left on the board. The odds of success were just too small. He sighed, they'd have no chance at all. Then his luck seemed to turn around just a bit.

First Jennifer came, saying she would still help. Austin came next, and although reluctant he'd also lend a hand. Holliday knew enough to know that those too had a large pull on the others, especially Tori. Now he had a rook, two bishops, and three knights on his board. Including himself, the tides of the battle would now be much different. He left Tiffany out of his calculations because he didn't want her fighting, still he'd try and find a way to make her useful.

"Alright," he spoke while quickly getting to his feet, "I think Ive got a few ideas. The main issue which we have is that our force is very small, we'll each have to take out about 3 men. For most of you, that implies you will have to enter the complex, and move somewhat stealthily through the building. I on the other hand, am not good with that whole 'stealth thing.' So this is what I think, we need to split into two groups. One group will cause a distraction, while the other sneaks in."

"The bulk of you will be in what we will call group 1 or alpha if you want to try and sound cool. You will be dying to be getting in un protected. Personally, I feel this group should be made up of Miyuki, Austin, Nikole, and Tammy. You guys are used to using melee weaponry so taking out enemies quietly shouldn't be that much of a problem, and most of you guys are proficient enough with firearms to hold your own if you are found. As far as infiltrating goes, it should be very simple. You guys will enter the emergency exit on the east side of the building. It's right next to a housing neighborhood, meaning you can use the buildings as cover. There will probably be a guard or two. Chances are you can lure them off, maybe by having them chase after the puppy. When they are distracted, Miyuki will put an arrow in his or their necks. From there you guys will make you way through the building eliminating the targets."

"Group 2 will be comprised of Me, Jen, Tori and to some extent Tiffany. We will be attacking the main entrance on the west side head on and creating a distraction. This entrance is where they are most likely to be attacked, so it will the entrance that's guarded the heaviest. As crazy as it sounds, what we'll do is basically walk right up to their door. By this I mean I will escort Tori, who we will make appear to greatly injured, up close and start asking if they could spare medical supplies. We'll act a bit panicked and worried to further fool them, which in turn will cause them to let down their guard. They'll probably try and rob us blind, maybe kill us, but they won't try and waste a bullet. They're short on supplies so they'll probably tell us to drop our guns so they can rough us up by hand. It's at this moment Ill pull an 180 attitude change and draw my guns which will be concealed by my coat. They'll be caught off guard I'll probably take out two before they even realize what happened. Jennifer will be perched about 75 yards back out of sight with a long ranged scoped rifle. She'll take out anyone that I wouldn't be fast enough to take out. With Jen would be Tiffany, using a pair of binoculars to help spot targets and serving as Jen's lookout. Once we have the main entrance clear, Tori and Jen will switch places so that Tori can watch Tiff while Jen can assist me in clearing out the building itself."

Miyuki nods her head as she listens to Holliday. It seems like a solid plan. She did feel uneasy about the level of sureness Holliday was showing when he taks about how the people will fall for the distraction., "When you show yourselves wont they figure out that you all are a distraction? Also what if they call the people who are out looking for us for back up." Miyuki, oddly enough, trusted Holliday. He did help her, Tiffany, and Skylynn out when they firet met even though she blackmailed him. She just wanted to know if there was an emergency plan or not so she would know if her group would need to think of a small plan themselves.

@ Crono @Tombstone @tammynorthland @Jennifer Shotain

tammy stood up and breathed in a deep breath. " no miyuki because Holliday will be the main distraction. I know as well s anyone else does the element of surprise is crucial. Now in order for us to get in everyone has to be perfectly plotted." she pulled out her drawing book and a pen beginning to sketch the hospitals foundation which may or may not be accurate. "Jenns perhaps could hide past all the property. this is where she could post up. now we don't know which entrance will be the easiest to sneak into and none of us have seen the hospital so we will be at a disadvantage. but a basic drawing will make anything come to life." she scribbled the pen onto this sheet creating scenery and tree and buildings. "I can lead the group inside with ease thanks to Miyuki, but remember that she is the only one with a silent long distance weapon. she must be protected because each shot takes a couple seconds to get ready for the next."

"as for the entrance we will do as Holliday said and be like water. this river travels the path of least resistance...and so shall we." this hospital will have several rooms and we cant search them all right away. and being in a small town this complex is no more than 5 stories, and probably contains 150 rooms. we must make our way to their location. which wont be the first floor. They will take the high ground. possibly a balcony of some kind? I know this because I always took the high ground by myself to have highest vantage point. But once again we aren't certain. But they will need visibility." Tammy continued the scribbling. "with that being said Jenn and holliday and tori will do their tag team at the place where the enemies lie and Longshot knows how to do his thing. we will enter inside and take out any leftovers and stragglers." by then we will be more familiar with the place. clear out any other hostiles or corpsers. and have our vehicles parked a mile from the hospital." she grinned. "tiffany will probably be the best scouter jenn could have. We can travel on foot not to long a ways to get the vehicles which we will hide down the road. best of all it will allow us the best escape route incase all goes sour, we grab the supplies and run, or if there are reinforcements or to many undead arrive from the noise. we can be quick, efficient, and hopefully we then will create enough time to find Jennifers medical supplies, and other supplies. Holliday makes all very steel hardened valid points."

Tammy drew a star on the map where the vehicles were located like it was a mission objective. ultimately she smiled. Longshot and her just built a bulletproof plan, coordinated it without even speaking. like minds create like solutions.

Tammy tore the sheet out from the book and held it by the fire toward all the survivors so everyone could see hers and Longshots mental pictures. come to life. "We don't know the exact shape but according to longshot it will pretty much appear Like this. If any adjustments need to be made I can erase and reed it the draft however makes best sense"

Miyuki looks over at Tammy and gets a little red. "Tammy, my question was for Holliday, not you. Also who gave you the role of leading Group 1? You are as clueless as the rest of us are of whats inside there plus you can't make good judgment calls as you dont know our strengths and our weaknesses." She says as she looks over at the young woman. Normally she wouldn't be so upset but when its someone who says they are in charge and she didnt feel comfortable with it she will have her voice heard. "Also i still say each group should have a plan b or some sort of back up plan just in case crap hits the fan and we need to abort."

@Tombstone @Crono @Jennifer Shirogane @tammynorthland

"And what happens when someone can't get it done?" Austin asked Holliday as he was staring at him with arms crossed. "Your chancing this whole plan on the fact that everyone can do their part. But your asking these kids to kill people." Austin was very aware that they could all hear him and didn't much care. "What happens when Nikole can't go through with it?" Honestly she didn't seem the type, the girl hadn't been with them for more than an hour and Holliday was expecting her to follow orders and murder away. "Or what happens when Miyuki has a change of heart? Or when Jenn can't pull the trigger?" Austin was trying to figure out as well why Holliday was sending him inside as well, he wasn't exactly the stealthiest he just knew how to blend in with the world and stay out of peoples way. Maybe it was for that reason exactly, if they couldn't do it, Holliday might be looking for Austin to do it for them.

Austin turned so he could see the others, "How many of you have actually had to kill a living person in the last four months? And just because maybe they were trying to kill you doesn't make it fully count. These guys will likely not see us coming, you might get to see their eyes or their face or hear their name."

Tori had just silently followed Austin back to the fire, She hadn't made much comment to him before when she had gone after him but to be honest she had allot on her mind, This hospital plan was rubbing her up all kinds of the wrong way but leaving everyone a man down when they were going to carry it out made her feel even worse. A frown had seemed to permanently attach itself to her face as she leaned against a nearby tree and counted the shadows cast on the ground by the fire while the rest talked. She cast a look Austins way when he said he was leaving after this and just rolled her eyes when miyuki tried to reason with him. If he had made up his mind it was probably pretty certain, he seemed like the stubborn sort but would try to chat to him after. Tori ran her hand down her face when the plan was laid out in front of them and she suddenly felt ten times more tired than she had in days "We definitely need a plan B i mean come on that plan is hinging on allot of luck and skill some people might not have, yeah good with guns..at shooting things that are already dead. Live fast moving targets are a different story, We need exit plans i propose the vehicles nearby like Tammy said but they should be prepacked and in two locations. one for each group. And we need a meeting point if things do go tits up and we have to extract." The woman stated finally speaking up.

She looked down at the map Tammy drew observing it closely. "Austin has good points to we do not know who will loose there nerve." she looked over at Holiday "Look i know it seems im going against you on everything i can right now but i'm not, i know why you wanna do this and i see the advantages seriously i do but i also see the downsides." she ran her fingers through her hair "And i also know it's a dog eat dog world out there alright just cause i won't kill someone doesn't make me weak or naive..it makes me human but we need to take that into consideration everyone here is human and not as practical as you at the last minute there is no telling if someone can hold their nerve. That is why a good plan B and exit is just as important as getting in so like i said i propose the vehicles at two sited packed with supplies..and meeting point..for well survivors if it goes that way. " Tori shrugged at that and crossed her arms over her chest. Clearly uncomfertable with the situation but she wasn't gonna just leave them to it either..she was glad she was tag teaming with Jen "So. Suppose we better get some animal blood or something right? if ima be a casualty it might as well be convincing?" and that was pretty much her saying she was on board.

Holliday looked over the map, seemed decent enough based on what he had seen of the building a week prior. He only wished he knew the interior a bit better, but there was no helping that. "Looks good Tam," then he turned to Miyuki and answered her questions. "If I was to pick the leader of the second group, I'd go with you Catnip. You seem the type that can follow the plan and step up in the heat of things. Of course that should be for the group to decide. Also the goal is to make them think it's only Tori, Jen, and I. If you all do your job properly, you won't have to worry about that until the odds are more even. Don't worry Catnip, "

Holliday then waved his hand dismissively of the negative comments. "If the main plan doesn't look like it's going to work then there isn't any chance at all. Hospitals are designed for there to be many escape routes in the case of a fire or other disaster, Im sure you'll be capable of finding one. The plan B is for all of you to run. I'll keep going to see if I can't grab the meds and run. That should get their attention off of you guys so that you can run. Once you are out take a round-a-bout way back to the cars and get out of Dodge. But when I go in Im going to see it through or go down trying."

"As far as killing goes, everybody is eventually going to have to pull that trigger. If not tomorrow then next week or next month. I will happen, there is no stopping that. And don't say killing a person who's trying to kill you doesn't count. Who the hell do you think we are going after tomorrow? They obviously aren't a bunch of doves, no they've killed one of ours' and are searching the area for us as we speak! Besiedes, humans are easier targets than the undead. Roughly 55% of the body can be used as target to kill them versus the less than 9% percent on one of the undead. Besides humans react to pain and stress unlike the undead, you can use that against them. Hell if it's really that much of a problem, the people on the stealth team don't really even need to kill all of them. Just get close, knock them out, and then bind them. The four of you could take down plenty of individuals that way. If that isn't a option, I'm positive Miyuki and Tammy aren't as gutless as you think."

Tammy begun to listen to holliday compliment her map and although she knew mentally she wasn't capable of leading these strangers she definitely took that upon herself.

Tammy swallowed her pride for once and nodded. "Miyuki actually would be our best bet in my eyes." It tasted sour leaving tammys mouth and her enthusiasm was empty upon saying it. Like a monotone robot

Tammy then nodded quietly to the plan b. She honestly was gonna just dip if it got hairy but that's her business only. She was doing this for everyone including herself to benfit. She was used to sneaking around the undead but living people will be a way to switch it up.

As the survivors conversed tammy heard moral issues begin to arrise. Holliday mentioned murdering human beings. And she shook in her head a bit. Her mind begun to shift around. And he mentioned her and miyuki being more than capable of taking a human life. She scratched her head uncomfortably. And shook the thoughts that clouded her mind. She made herself forget and made her mind clear and filled it with battle ideas.

"Yea we can handle our own weight one way or another longshot!" She stammered voice broke a tad in the end of the sentence

@Shimakage Thunder @KathleneWilliams2121 @Jen

As the plan was laid out for everyone to hear, Jennifer kept her eyes forward on watch, occasionally glancing back at them. Stress filled her head as she heard her part in it. Tammy then had her say in it, to which Miyuki disliked. Then Austin pitched in his two cents. There was nothing but argument over this plan. And while she was going to go along with said plan, she felt that Austin's argument was valid. And this really reflected the remark she herself made not too long ago. Tori then decided to join the debate as well. Jennifer tried to stay silent the entire time. She wanted no part in this. She was going to do it, but she wanted no part in killing people in cold blood like that.

There was one thing, however, that Austin questioned everyone that stuck in her head.

Crono said:
"How many of you have actually had to kill a living person in the last four months? And just because maybe they were trying to kill you doesn't make it fully count. These guys will likely not see us coming, you might get to see their eyes or their face or hear their name."
The memory of having to kill people recently stuck in her head. She thought she had reconciled with it, but the truth is that it still bothered her. Jennifer wanted to reply to him, but she couldn't. Instead, she kept watch, and tried to zone out the bickering from behind her. It wasn't making this any easier. Killing people was different than killing undead bastards. One is alive, the other is a monstrosity that has no human left in it. It is a mindless creature risen from the dead by god knows what in order to spread whatever they have and rise the dead up even more. But people, they're different. They're alive, they have feelings. They aren't mindless. They are not one in the same to kill. They are different. Totally different.

The light from the fire started to dim, and Jennifer had a hard time trying to see what was around the camp while on guard. With a sudden urge to pee, and get away from the arguing and bickering, as well as get a moment of peace to herself in the place she loves most, nature, she turned to the others bickering.

"I've got to use the bathroom. Someone cover watch duty until I return," she said loud enough to hear over the bickering.

Marching towards the woods, Jennifer looked back. The fire and silhouettes of the group were fading with every step she took into the woods. So was the bickering. That was a relief for her. The fire itself was dying, and she knew it might be gone once she gets back, unless someone gets more wood for it to burn. Once she was approximately fifty yards away, Jennifer found a spot to do her business. Once done, she gathered her things, and began towards camp. But the sudden sounds of rustling in the woods near he made her pause. She slowly reached for her rifle, slung over her shoulder. Once she shouldered it, she turned around, facing the direction of the sound. The source of the sound was hard to see. The forest was pitch black. She listened some more. And then she heard a call. It was a deer. Not wanting to give up an opportunity to bring food back for everyone, she tried to use her senses to locate the animal. Taking slow and easy steps forward, trying to be stealthy as possible, she turned off the safety. But suddenly, there was a click.

She stepped on a twig.

Internally, she cursed, and the deer fled. But this time she could see where. It went towards the edge of the forest, as seen through the light that shown through. Jennifer ran off in pursue of it. Once at the edge, she noticed she had made her way to a road, and to her left was a small hill that the road continued on. She saw the deer stop on the other side of the road. They made eye contact. Jennifer quickly shouldered her rifle. She was trying to catch her breath, making it harder for her to aim. As soon as she was going to pull the trigger, a light illuminated the deer. Jennifer looked to her side, and she was blinded by the light of a car coming her way. Seeing the light on her, she ran back to the forest.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck," she exclaimed as she ran to the forest, and behind a bush.

The sound of a car engine speeding up met her ear. It creeped closer, until she heard the car come to a sudden stop. The engine turned off. The sound of doors opening flew through the air. Jennifer's heart started to pound fast. She was scared.

"That bitch's gotta be out here somewhere," said a voice who stepped out of the car.

"She went this way into the forest, dumbass. Were you even paying attention, Ian," asked another voice.

Jennifer sat there. She knew they were coming. She had two choices; run, and risk being caught, or hide, and take them out if they get too close. She had the element of surprise here. But in a dark forest like this, seeing one of them would be damn near impossible if against a black background.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden sound of a gunshot. She jumped.

"What the fuck was that for? You should have fucking used your knife, dumbass, Ian! You just alerted everyone we're here if they're nearby!"

"Oh, look at what we've got here. This chick must have been hot as fuck when she was alive. Man, would I like to have-"

"Are you fucking kidding me," said another voice interrupting the one talking, "That dead brain could've been taken out quietly, and you take it out with your gun? And you have the audacity to tell me how you'd love to do stuff with her if she was alive? This is not the time for that shit. What kind of dumb ass are you? You saw what those assholes did to the others. You saw that flare. Do you have any idea what the fuck we're even doing out here, or is this all a game to you? That damn girl could have just run off because you sat here doing this."

"Hey, fuck off, man. It wasn't my idea to be out here in the first place."

"Fuck off? Mother fucker, we want our revenge on these assholes for what they did. If you wanna dick around here and stare at undead, be my mother fucking guest. But you saw that girl. She's probably part of that group from earlier we heard about. Get your head out of your ass and let's get this bitch."

"Whatever you say, asshole."

Jennifer listened in fear, trembling as she heard the men talk. Once they were done, she heard footsteps. She couldn't tell how many pairs of feet there were. But she could hear them. Light suddenly illuminated the area. They had flashlights. And Jennifer knew she was fucked.

The lights swung side to side, and the footsteps got closer. The men began to taunt her.

"Come on out you little bitch, stop your hiding. I'm only gonna find your ass. Oh, wait, you're scared, aren't ya? Well when I get you and bring you back, you're going to be really scared, and wish you were dead. Because the things we're gonna do to you are going to make you really wish you killed yourself now."

Trembling, angry, and scared, Jennifer sat there. She heard the footsteps closer now. She could hear someone breathing. The man continued to taunt her. Jennifer couldn't take it. She rose up, and located one of the men with light. The man jumped back, and went to raise his hand, which Jennifer assumed had a handgun in it. She fired shot after shot into him or caring enough to aim, her emotions getting the better of her. As she watched him fall, Jennifer felt a sharp pain his the side of her arm. She staggered. Then another sharp pain in her leg. She collapsed, and dropped her gun. She looked around. Another man ran out with his gun pointed at her. She could hear the man she shot getting up.

"You stupid bitch," he yelled, and he swung his arm and narrowly missed Jennifer's head.

She went to try and grab her gun, but as she turned around to get it, she looked up and saw the other man with the butt of the gun in the air, and swung it towards Jennifer. It hit her in the head. She felt immediate pain in her head. She struggled to see. Her hearing was impaired. She could still hear the man screaming at her, however, what he was saying, she couldn't tell. She looked at her arm and leg. She had been shot. The man she shot started to spit on her, his blood raining down on her as he struggled to stand over her. The other man seemed to have told the injured one something. They were yelling at each other. Jennifer's sight started to faze out. She was moaning out in pain. She felt a kick in her stomach, and faintly could make out someone tell her to shut up. And then more fighting between the two. As her eyes faded, she heard a gunshot, and the man she had shot before fell to the ground. The other man spitting on him. The man then picked Jennifer up and dragged her by the arms. She tried to fight back, but she was fading into blackness. As he dragged her to the road, Jennifer tried to scream help, but she hadn't had the power to do so. She could see car lights traveling towards her and the man as he dragged her to the car. The man then took her head and pointed it towards his face. She could now see the scruffy beard of an older man in his 50's looking at her with pure evil in his eyes. He yelled at her as the car lights in the background came closer. She struggled to hear anything. What she could make out was something about how she would pay for what she did to his and her group did to the other "brothers," and that he was taking her back to the hospital to pay for her crimes against his group. He hit her again across the face, which then landed on the pavement. Her eyes faded out as she saw other men step out of the cars and run towards the man.

Jennifer blacked out.

Miyuki nods over at Jen who said that she was going to go take care of her busness. "Alright, I will be on guard." She calls out as she looks over at Holliday. "Thank you, Smokey. And yes I can hold my own in a fight, Austin." She says as she looks over at the older man. Miyuki leans against the tree and rolls her eyes at Tammy's nickname for Holliday, "WHo calls someone Longshot?" She thinks to herself as she looks out at the trees. Looking down at her bow she thinks to herself, "Jen has been gone for a long time.....hope nothing happened." Right she finished with that thought, she heard a gunshot. Instinctively she ran towards the noise. She runs the direction of the shot but then lost it, "Where could...." She whispers to herself before she hears multiple rounds of gunfire. She goes over to it and climbs up a tree and looks over. She sees a couple of men hurting Jen. Blood on fire, she pulls out her bow and arrow and tries to line up, "Ugh, can't get a good enough hit on these asses without hurting Jen...." She watches helplessly as she sees them drag her to the car and says something about bringing her to the hospital. She nods her head and quietly climbs down the tree and back to where the group was. Bend over out of breath from the running. "Jen.....got captured......they....are going to take her....to the hospital....for revenge." Miyuki was furious to say the least. She now had no problem killing all of those basterds to get her friend back as well as what they did and were going to do, whatever it was.

Tammy heard the noise and watched he'd miyuki bolt for it. Without hesitation tammy followed. She didn't want to stick around if the camp was next she tried to follow miyuki but the head start was so great she lost her. Tammy panted and scanned the woods. She didn't see jenn, miyuki,or any corpsers. This wasn't good. She heard more shots fire and tammy continued to follow. A large outcrop was up ahead in which she saw a bows silluette.

"Miyuki..." She panted quietly. She drew her pistol. Crowbar was back at camp. And came behind her. By the time she neared her she not say a word.... 'something was wrong'

She ran back to camp in which the former gym rat followed. And at the arrival of the campsite. "......WHAT?!?!?!?!?" Tammy exclaimed. Jenn was the reason for the shots....

"She was taken?" Tammy was in shock her mind flooded with bad thoughts, anger, and fear. " did you see who it was?!?"

She sat down due to lack of breathe. And begun to panic. "Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck..... what the fuck why didn't we go with her! !??" Tammy didn't want something like this to happen despite not knowing these people super well. Jenn was a good soul. She had tammys back like longshot. And this isn't something that should have happened....

Upon hearing that Jenn was taken, Tiffany was heartbroken and distraught, partly because she was slowly establishing a relationship with the other girl. As Josh rested in a makeshift crib, Tiffany started feeling contractions in her lower stomach. It became apparent when she had an expression of discomfort as she placed her hand where it hurt. She sighed as she shed a tear. "The sooner you guys clean out that hospital, the better...Because I don't think it'll be long until I go into labor." She said.

Tori had just sat down by the tree she had been leaning on and bit her tongue..quite frankly she found some of the things holiday said rude and insulting. She hadn't called anyone gutless and just because someone couldn't take another's life it certainly didn't make them soo. Not in her opinion anyways. It took allot more than being a coward to lay down arms in the face of someone willing to take your life..it wasn't about that for her it was about whether she was willing to warp who she was for well this...she sighed and rubbed at her head, a nasty headache was threatening to make itself full blown. She could feel it niggling at the base of her skull and at this rate she might just bonk herself on the head and be really injured for this take over...least it be convincing right? she smirked to herself at that.

Tori only pulled out of her own thought's when she heard the pounding of feet heading toward them, her heart felt like it stopped for a full second before it kicked into overdrive and she shot to her feet in an instant half expecting the enemy to burst through the trees..but when it was the two girls she relaxed her body and stared at them confused. She heard the words pass through the air..leaving Miyuki's lips though she did not react..not right away at least. It was stupid you know or at least she used to think it was when you saw those movies and just as something bad happened it all slowed down? Tori had always found that a little ridiculous..i mean as if but that was what it felt like. Slow motion or like she had just stuck her head under water everything kinda foggy..not sharp? if that made sense like she had been listening in HD and all of a sudden it was standard sound. It didn't last long though and her heart felt to what felt like right into her stomach a nauseous feeling coming over the woman. "Oh god.." She said simply. She didn't panic or fly into a rage infact on surface she looked perfectly calm but her mind was going a mile a minute...was she dead already? no no they had taken her that meant that they wanted her alive. Alive? that wasn't good was it, for revenge Miyuki had said? that was even worse..god knows what they might.."WEll crap crap and double crap" Tori snapped.

The woman immediately kicked into action, seemed there hand had been pushed and she be damned if she was leaving Jen to whatever fate those guys had in mind for her. Not chance in the seven heels and that was even if she lasted long without the little meds she had left. On that thought it was time to go "Right then i guess our hand has been pushed. we move now god knows what they will do. Same plan." she said firmly "Except now Jens life and not the med's are priority..we can always try for meds again we cannot resurrect her..but well i suppose the overall goal is taking the hospital completely. " While she talked Tori was grabbing her back pack and flinging it on her back hiding her shotgun on the inside and shoving her knife in her boot once more. She glanced over at Holiday "Looks like we are a man down, I might not be able to shoot like Jen but i know how to throw a punch and use a knife" she shrugged her shoulders determination set on her face now and for the meantime she pushed the sickening worry for her friend to the side. She had to focus. "well come on..lets go then" she stated staring at the others. Her tone was somewhat impatient.

Some time later...

Light started to shine through Jennifer's eyes. She started to open them, but her vision was blurry, making it hard to see. She started to blink semi rapidly. She started to make out a silhouette of a person. There was a muffled sound coming through.

"Wakey, wakey, bitch," she heard the voice say.

Jennifer slowly felt herself losing consciousness. The individual seemed to notice. He became infuriated, and slapped her hard across the face. She could hear his muffled voice through her ringing ears. Pain crept up all over Jennifer's face. Her vision faded, but came back. Jennifer could now see relatively clear, and hear almost fine. She felt pain in her arm and leg. She went to try and move them, but something kept her from moving. She looked down and saw she was restrained to some sort of bed, in what appeared to be a surgical room of the hospital. Jennifer began to panic. During this, the man inside there started to laugh to himself. She looked at the man, whom she had never seen before. He was around six foot, a little on the heavier side. His black hair was long and greasy. And his beard was patchy. He appeared to be in his late 40's.

"Let me out of here, please," Jennifer pleaded to him. This made his sadistic laughing only louder.

"I ain't lettin' you go, bitch. You shot our friend in cold blood, shootin' him up and leavin' him there to be hurt in the ground, only to put a bullet in his head when our friend pleaded with you to let him go, that they would leave you alone," he said to her, walking around her, smiling. "And especially after what you and your group did to our brothers. You ain't goin' nowhere."

"That didn't happen," shot back a scared Jennifer, "Your friends stalked me. Your friend is the one who sho-"

'Shut up," he said hitting her hard across the face, interrupting her from speaking. "I ain't listening to some lying, murderous little bitch!"

Jennifer spit out blood from her mouth. She tried to regain her composer. Her head was spinning, and she vomited. During this, she heard a door open from behind her, followed by footsteps and a voice.

"Stop hitting her," said a voice from behind her. "She's endured enough pain as of now. Irene, step in her and fix her injuries."

The man in front of Jennifer walked away, cursing in the process. She heard the door shut, and more footsteps walking towards her.

"You poor thing," said a man in his early forties walking into view of Jennifer. "You've been really beaten up, haven't you?"

To her right, Jennifer saw a young nurse walk to her and start inspecting her.

"Bullets just grazed her. It'll need some cleaning and stitching, but she'll be fine," said the young girl to the man, looking at her gunshot wounds, then looking at her face. They locked eyes for a second, and Jennifer could see fear in her eyes. "Her head is severely bruised and beaten. She most likely has a concussion, from what I've heard they did to her."

"That's a damn shame. I should've had those dumbasses handle this differently. Anyway, girl, I'm sorry about that," said the man.

"Who are you," Jennifer shot at him, giving him a look of fear and anger. The man smiled.

"Me? I'm just one of the guys around here that tries to manage things. I'm no leader here. My name's Eric, Eric Redman. And yours is," he asked Jennifer while the girl started to sterilize and stitch wounds. Jennifer refused to reply, but just stared at him. The man sighed.

"Well I suppose you don't want to tell me. That's fine. For now."

The man then took out a small bottle of what appeared to be alcohol and took a sip. Clearly satisfied by the drink, he let out a breath. He then held it out towards Jennifer. She just stared at him. He took the cue and put the cap back on. He adjusted the belt on his pants, and his seemed to change his demeanor.

"So, I think it's best we talk about what you're doing here. You and your friends killed some of my men, my brothers. And our leader isn't too happy. Nor am I. We found you out in the woods after you killed one of ours in cold blood, seemingly not caring about who he was, if he had a family, if people cared about him, things like that. You killed a good man. You and your group are a bunch of killers. And your group will have to pay. Especially you. But, we'll find your group, and when we do, we'll kill all the men, take the women back here. They'll be locked up somewhere. And that baby.."

Jennifer's eyes opened up wider.

"Maybe we'll kill him, maybe we'll make him one of us. Who knows what we'll do. But you're not going anywhere. We're going to fix you up, interrogate you some more. And when we find the people in your group, we'll catch them, tie them up, and have it so you and the other women there can watch them die painfully and slowly right in front of you for the sins you have committed. Sound good? Actually, how about you tell me your name, first. I believe you never said it."

"You're not going to get us, you mother fucker. We're stronger than we look."

Before Jennifer had a chance to say another word, the man pulled out a knife, pushed the girl helping her aside, to which she fell, and started to cut a longer wound channel where she was shot. She tried to jump back in pain, but was restricted from doing so.

"I can do this all day 'til there isn't anywhere else to cut. I want an answer. Give it to me," barked the man.

"It's Jennifer," she yelled through her pain. The man then stopped cutting her, and his eyes widened, then a grin forming on his face.

"You're the girl that The Disciples have been looking for," he laughed. "You're more useful to us alive than dead. Irene, fix her up. I have to go tell everyone the jewel we have in our possession."

Jennifer's eyes had widened. She knew who these people were Eric had talked about. They were responsible for the deaths of her parents. And almost her. She had been on the run from them ever since they killed her parents after an agreement they forced upon them was broken multiple times. She suspected they are the ones who attacked her prior to meeting her current group. In fact, she was almost positive it was them. And she knew what would happen if they got their hands on her. The leader of the group, Darius Williamson, Jennifer fears more than anyone else. And the fact that him and his group are looking for her is even worse. Jennifer pleaded to man to let her go, and that she'll do anything they want her to as long as they don't give her to him and his group. The man just walked out the door. Jennifer began to cry. She looked over to the girl, Irene, who stood there, avoiding looking at her.

"Please, Irene, let me go. Whatever they told you about me isn't true. I never have killed in cold blood. My group didn't either. Yours attacked us. And the ones who picked me up stalked me, tried to capture me. I fought back. The one guy killed the other and blamed it on me. I have done nothing wrong, please, listen to me. Let me go."

"I know these men aren't good," said the girl as she walked towards her, and started to tend for her injury. "You have no idea what they do to us."

Jennifer shot her a curious look, then asked, "what do they do to you?"

The girl stopped what she was doing for a second, before continuing.

"When the world went to shit, me and the other nurses and doctors tried to tend to as many of the people they brought in as we could. Eventually, things got so bad that only a few doctors and nurses were left. Some people helped us hold off in the hospital. About two months in, this giant group of twenty men and women stormed the place. They killed all of the males they could see. They then rounded up whoever was left. They took the men, and killed them all in brutal ways if they didn't accept joining their group. The women? They took us all, locked us up in a room." The girl paused momentarily. "The things they do to us... make us do... They're monsters, devils. They only beat us if we don't do what they want. They promised me that if I helped you, I would be left alone for a week and get more food than the rest. So I took the deal. You have no idea what we go through, how we want to get out and make them pay. All four of us, at least. Three others died. One was due to a beating they received, another was from dehydration, and the last was from suicide. They left the bodies in there. They turned. We had to kill them ourselves with literally nothing. I want to help you get out, but I want to get out myself, and help the others."

As the girl tended to Jennifer's injuries, she sat there in disbelief of what this group they were dealing with was like. She had been so naive to argue that they were innocent people. They weren't. The only innocent people were the girls they held hostage. As Jennifer tried to sit there and take it all in, her head in much pain, she looked at the girl.

"I'm sorry. But, look, I have this group that you know of," she started, choosing her next words carefully, trying not to let information about the attack get out in case she reports it, "if my group comes and tries to rescue me, then I'll make sure we free you and the other nurses. Despite what the assholes said about us, we are good people. We aren't monsters like they make us out to be. I promise I will try to help."

Irene looked up at her. In her eyes, she can see the pain and torment that she has gone through. She could tell how badly she wanted it over with. There is a lot you can tell about a person through their eyes. And Jennifer could see it now. Irene finished stitching up the wound. The girl then went to her restraints. She started to fiddle with them.

"Don't move," she said to her. "I loosened your restraints so that you can help us get out. But take this and hide it in your shirt sleeve," Irene said as she handed Jennifer a surgical knife. Taking the knife, Jennifer hid it under her sleeve so it wasn't visible.

"You and your people are our only way out. If you really believe they'll get you, you need a fighting chance to survive. Don't move out of the restraints until you absolutely have to. It won't be noticeable that they are loosened and you can slip through, otherwise."

Before Jennifer could respond, the door flew open, and a man walked in. Irene took a step back. Once the man came into sight, he recognized him; the man that captured her.

"You little bitch think you can kill my brother's," he said to her in a horrifying tone.

"Tommy, please, don't do anything else to her. She can't sustain more beatings. And she needs to be alive because Eric said that the Disciples we-"

Tommy slapped her as she talked. She fell back.

"I didn't give you permission to speak, Irene! Or do you want to get beaten like Hilda was in front of the rest of your friends?"

Irene scrambled to get up. Jennifer wanted to get up and defend Irene, but she looked at her and shook her head. Jennifer reluctantly watched.

"I'm sorry," Irene said to Tommy, she said, reluctantly.

"Good. Now you sit here and don't say another fucking word," he yelled to her, then turning towards Jennifer. He started towards her.

"Don't touch me," she yelled to him.

"Shut up, bitch!"

Tommy leaned over to her ear.. He whispered the horrors he was about to do into her ear, when Irene ran up to him, and stabbed him in the back with scissors. He flinched back in pain, and grabbed Irene by the hair. He pulled her closer and pulled the scissors out of his back. Infuriated, Tommy threw Irene against the wall.

"I've had enough of you," he said as he pulled out a machete, and Irene begged him for mercy. Jennifer, meanwhile, yelled for him to stop. This grabbed his attention.

"You want me to stop," he said with a sadistic grin.

"Please, stop, let her be. It doesn't have to go down like this."

Jennifer thought about getting up and lunging at him and killing him, but Irene shook her head no when she looked at her.

"This just makes what I'm about to do even better," he said with a laugh as he swung the machete and it went into Irene's neck. She cried out in pain. Jennifer yelled as she watched him swing again. Irene fell to the ground, dead. Tommy, then covered in blood, turned to her.

"Now for your turn, you fucking bitch," he said, dropping the bloody machete.

As he got up to her, and attempted to climb up, she slipped her hand out with the knife, and sunk it deep into his neck. He fell over on the floor. Jennifer broke free of her loosened restraints, and jumped down on top of him. She took the knife out and continued to stab him in the neck, and then the chest. Her emotions took the better of her, after what he did to Irene and what he was about to do to her. Tommy began to choke on blood in her throat and cough it. Blood sprayed all over Jennifer. She continued to stab him, even when he was dead. When she was done, she got off of him, got up, but stumbled and hit the floor. She lay there on the cold floor, crying. Turning towards the body of Tommy, she noticed that his gun was still around him. She grabbed the gun, an AR-15, and got up. Blood was all over the flood. She walked her way over to the opposite wall, and continued to cry. She knew it would be only a matter of time before someone comes back into here. And that she is going to have fight her way out if the others don't make it to her in time. She sat there, covered in blood, crying while praying her God to forgive her and pointing the gun at the door, ready to fight for her life if she has to.

When Holliday had first heard the gunshots, it took a second to register. He was so caught up in the conversation that he had lost his edge of awareness. It was only when Miyuki had bolted that he realized just what was going on and he sprung into action. Quickly he dashed to his truck and retrieved his rifle from the cabin. It took precious minutes. Then he charged after into the woods after Miyuki. However, while she ran swiftly like a nimble deer, he moved through the darkness like a stumbling ox. Because of that and the time lost retrieving his rifle, he fell behind.

Eventually he spotted Miyuki returning towards camp, wearing a grim expression on her face. At that moment he knew in his heart that something terrible had happened. He quickly shouldered his rifle and scanned the darkness surrounding them, making sure that no one was tailing them, and slowly followed Miyuki back.

"DAMMIT! Dammit, Dammit, Dammit! Those whoresons! Fuck!" and a myriad of other curse words spewed out of Holliday's mouth when Miyuki broke the news. He was beyond enraged. Honestly he would have been less angry to have found out Jen had killed. The though that they could be torturing or defiling her made his blood boil over. He paced back and forth giving into the anger, swearing he'd kill them all. It was only when he saw Tori taking the war path that he regained his senses.

"Hold it Tori, we can't go, not yet." He held up his hand and pointed to the moon which now set directly in the center of the sky. "It's around midnight, or have you forgot? I'd bet everything they are expecting us to come barreling after them right this second. If we go right now we'll be playing right into their hands. We'll have no sleep whatsoever, preform sloppily since we are acting on the spur of the moment, and have no daylight to work in. We need to stick to the original plan and attack at dawn."

It was then that Holliday really understood what the loss of Jennifer meant, he now had nobody to cover him. He sighed deep and slow. "Alpha Group, the plan remains the same for you. You'll infiltrate under stealth and try to take out as many as you can. Figure out where they keep their prisoners and get Jen home safe. If they have Jen captive, they might have more. Free them if possible and have them help."

"As for my group, we can't do anything like I'd originally planned. Ill approach the front gate alone under a white flag. Ill let them believe that I'm someone they can push around, then Ill turn my guns on them. I'll have to hope Im good enough that I can incapacitate them in the split second they will be caught off guard. Tori, unless you think you can cover me from a range, Id rather you not come with me. It will be way to dangerous for you without anyone sniping for us. Tiffany, I still don't want you near the fight. We'll have you wait with the getaway cars. Tori can then choose between sticking with you, trying to cover me, or joining up with beta."

Holliday then looked out over in the direction of the hospital, knowing what would soon come. He knew they needed rest, but he also had to make sure Jennifer was safe. "Look, you all need to get some rest, now. If we aren't on our game then we will just make matters worse. Im going to head into town and try to scope out the hospital, make sure Jennifer is alive. Once I can verify that, Ill find rest near the spot we planned on launching from tomorrow."

Holliday then slowly walked over to his truck and grabbed something and then strode up to Miyuki. He nudged her slightly and handed her a camouflage box. It was a walkie talkie. "Take care of them Catnip," He said in a lower voice, "I trust you quite a bit. Show up at dawn and be ready for anything. Keep everyone together, Id rather not like to hear that someone else got taken. Use this, channel 3. It's got 20 mile range but you can only hear clearly at about 15. That should be enough though. Alert me if anything happens." The he leaned in close and whispered something in her ear. With that he turned around and went back to his truck. He retrieved he long, dark brown coat. It was just dark enough that it would blend into the night. Then he strapped on his gun belt and entered the cab.

Minutes later he was taking off down the road, en route to the hospital. He was very anxious, so much so that even his music wasn't helping. After only a minute he had shut it off because it was annoying him. Instead he rolled down the window and breathed in the cool night air. As he drove he noticed something crashed on the side of the road, a cop car.

He slowly pulled to a stop, out of curiosity. It was then he noticed that there were two zeds locked inside. He smiled, it was a lot to hope but just maybe. He exited his vehicle and picked up a large rock, which he then used to smash in the patrol car's window. The zeds inside scrambled to try and grab him through the window, but Holliday used his kukri machete to de-limb them. The he cut off their heads as they tried to stick them out. When he was done with his lumberjack work, he unlocked the car door through the window and drug the two bodies out.

It seemed that he wasn't completely without luck as he had previously believed. Both of the ex officers were suited in Kevlar vests. He quickly went to work in unharnessing them. They'd be invaluable in the fight to come. He would wear them himself as they'd restrict his movement, but they could be of use to beta. Holliday put the vests in his truck, and continued on his path.

Tiffany waited anxiously as she could hear gunfire and screeching tires in the distance. She wanted to be a part of the fight, but staying out of it was a better idea and was for her own good. Not to mention she had a baby to take care of in the wake of his Mother's death as well as having her own baby on the way.

She started becoming more worried as her contractions became more and more consistent. Luckily, they still stopped if she either got up or sat down. She was sitting by her Jeep, ensuring Josh's safety. "Not sure how you feel about having a sister, but you'll probably be a big brother before the night ends. I wish your Mom was still here..." She sighed as she watched the little one laying in the car seat, sleeping. He slept a lot, but infants slept for 16 hours every single day, but she slept eleven. If they were alone, she'd be a wreck and probably suffer a miscarriage by now. Suddenly, she felt a sharp pain in her belly as she felt something gushing down her thighs. It wasn't blood either... "Shit..." Suddenly, she had to grip onto the door handle to keep herself standing. "Fuck, not now...This is bad..." She mumbled before letting out a sigh of pain. "Miyuki!! Help!!" She cried out as she slowly slid to the ground, holding her belly as Josh started crying.
