Realistic or Modern Zombie Apocalypse

Miyuki looks down at Jennifer as she talks to both her and Holliday. She sighs as she climbs down and jumps over Holliday, "Come on, Smokey." She says as she walks over to where Tiffany's tent was, "Tiff, Jennifer wants to have a meeting about something. This is kind of important." She then leaves the tent and walks over to the group and leans against a tree. "Ok, let's lay out the facts. We have a bunch of people looking around who were apparently occupying a hospital. With the number that Holliday said, we can assume that they are weakened but we don't know how much. We don't know how many people are inside, thus cleaning it out and taking over would be a big problem if we are up against a large group. Let's also take into account that most of us were running today. Austin and Tammy went out to find Holliday and the girl with the puppy, Tori just got back from running for who knows how long and Holliday was running all day too. Tiffany is pregnant and Jennifer is still injured and we have baby Josh to look after," Miyuki states it all as she puts her hands in her pockets. She wanted to lay out the facts for everyone so they could all think about what to do. Sighing she looks up at the group, "If we are going to go take over the hospital from Skylynn's murders, we are going to have to be fast and smart."

@Shimakage Thunder

When she was awakened from her sleep, Tiffany heard that Jennifer wanted to talk about something important. She cradled Josh before exiting her tent and sitting down with everyone by a nearby tree. As she sat down, Tiffany took a deep breath. Because of some of her contractions, she was afraid that Labor was near. Hopefully they can change the Hospital into a safe haven before she goes into labor, because she would prefer not to give birth in the middle of a firefight. "I can help clear out the first floor...But that's about it." she said, not wanting to just wait outside and do nothing.

@KathleneWilliams2121

Austin had given a small wave of recognition towards Tori, it was indeed good news to see she was alive and that she and Holliday made it back. Though the man didn't move from his spot by the fire, and eventually Jennifer returned and relayed the news. Austin blinked, something just seemed off... he looked up at her with his head cocked to the side slightly. "Why the sudden good soldier attitude and terminology?" Holliday said this, Holliday suggested that. Eye roll, "You really are pulling for him to be leader aren't you?" His tone had been rather flat, not really angry, agitated if anything.

With a deep breath he shuffled in his seated spot as the talks began. "I still say we skip town. Skylynn wouldn't want us to put her son in more danger for any sort of revenge on her part." Letting out a light snort he looked around at the others. Austin knew there were other reason's to consider it, but he still stood against this plan.

Tammy rolled around in her sleep shuffling thoughts about where her arents might be or if they were alive... Her mind heard voices that weren't hers. Her mind heard the crackling of a campfire and these voices became friends she knew people she never knew in her past but due to fate and this world shes been apart of are now close.

Her eyes opened.... she was fucking furious. she glances around everyone near the fire and Holliday standing next to her sleeping rock. some of the others were sitting as well. she slowly sat up. "Couldn't.... this....fucking....wait.' she moaned half asleep she had no life in her, mine has well been dead like the rest of the corpsers. she slowly realized that everyone had a purpose for why they all commerced together because even the pregnant woman was up but Josh, the baby, must have been asleep. she glanced at Longshot, then Miyuki, and followed by that dog because the pup was so damn cute. They were bringing up raiding parties. Tiffany wanted to fight but in that condition it would be a huge liability making her a perfect hostage let alone a big target and a hard to move target. "Austin, running is fucking pointless because we will lose all opportunity of keeping Jenn on a steady supply." Tammy adjusted herself and begun to dig into her pack. "I think sleep might be more important but now I guess we are all here so whatever." She stood up stretching with the little sounds and all and then cracked her neck.

Her mouth opened. "ok, whose going to listen."

@Shimakage Thunder @Lola Shimmer

Miyuki sighs as she hears the other's conversation. When Tiffany spoke up about helping, Miyuki looks over at her, "No, Tiff. I rather you not. We need someone to watch Josh." Miyuki didn't feel comfortable bringing Tiffany into a fight. Then again she did agree with Austin, how it would cause danger to Josh. Then again, Tammy held a solid point about Jen's pills. Miyuki looks over at Jennifer, "Jen, how many pills you have left?" She asks as she thinks about a plan, one to keep everyone alive. She then looks over at Holliday who has had the biggest run in with these guys, "What do you think?" She whispers over to him as she wanted to know his opinion, "Think we can do it?"

The dogs tail was suddenly lowered, it's ears folding back as it stared toward a bush. It slowly walked toward it, before barking furiously and running in the bushes, the barking continuing shortly before a small sound of some kind of animal was made. It sounded like a squeak. Soon enough, the puppy hauled out a rabbit bigger than its head. The rabbit had been relaxing, asleep as it felt the warmth from the fire, before being attached by the fairly large pup. It trotted about, looking for w place to dig the huge rabbit . The owner stayed asleep.

( Sorry if this is irrelevant kinda had to make so,e sort of contribution from the week thingy

The girl let out a sigh on response to Austin's comment.

"No," she began, "this isn't what this is about. We just got attacked by these assholes today, and they killed one of our own. Now, it appears they're out searching the streets for us. The longer we stay here, the more likely we'll get spotted. That I'm worried about. This has nothing to so, Austin, with me trying to get Holiday as the leader of us, should we form a group. This is a group discussion we have to talk about. What do we do, is the question. Not who leads us or such. We have to have a group discussion on what we do next."

Austin's comment slightly annoyed her, but she tried not to let it show. This was nothing to do about who she wanted to become the leader, and everything to do with the fact that there are search teams out looking for them.

"Look, what I'm saying is that we need to decide whether or not we stay here. I ask Holiday because he was the one who say the supposed headlights. He says we have until morning at best, but I'm worried they'll find us in our sleep. He doesn't lead us, nor does anyone else. Right now, we're a group. We should all have a say in what we do next. My whole case and point is what do we do? We all need to chime and and discuss the matter. That's my point."

@Shimakage Thunder @KathleneWilliams2121 @Crono

Miyuki looks over at the puppy who was barking in a bush. No one else notices him so she walks over to him, "Come here." She says as she leads the pup over to where the group was and sat down at the base of the tree. She started to scratch the dog behind it's ear to make sure he stayed quiet as the last thing they needed was noise. She looks up at Jen and sighs as her question was ignored. "I think the answers is obvious that we can't stay. The question is, are we able to move? Tori and the girl are passed out, Tiffany's in pain......I think we should move but the problem is that we don't know where to go. The hospital could be a good option but like Austin said, it's dangerous." Miyuki sighs as she leans back against the tree. "We also need to take into account that we need to find a safe place to stay for a while and fast. We have a baby on the way and the weather is getting colder which means winter is around the corner." She sighs as she looks at the fire.

@Shimakage Thunder

The puppy looked up at Miyuki, the dead and bleeding rabbit still clutched in its jaws. It walked with her, but didn't sit. Instead she walked in a small circle, unsure about where he should out the dead rabbit. He looked at Miyuki, before dropping the dead animal right in her lap, sitting down and panting happily, it's blue and brown eye looking around the camp, searching to see if anything was there. The dog was tempted to howl, it's Husky instincts about to take over. Thankfully, he managed to keep quiet and just layed beside the girl, silent as ever.

@KathleneWilliams2121

Holliday thought about Miyuki's question, was he alright? The sad thing was he felt no different than usual. For him, it was just another day in this hell of a world. As bad as the day had been, he'd seen worse. Before he could come up with some kind of formal answer reply, both he and miyuki were called over by Jen.

He wandered over by the fire, finding a sturdy tree for him to rest his weight and lean on. Tammy lay asleep near him, so he gave her a small nudge in order to stir her from her slumber. After that he listened silently, giving everyone a chance to voice their opinions. He mostly kept his eyes focused on the flickering flames, looking up only once out of brief suprise when they spoke of possibly making him a leader. Since when had that been on the table? Holliday let it slide, preferring to continue listening.

Eventually, everyone has gone and only Holliday was left. He cleared his throat and then spit on the ground. Then he stood up straight and looked each and every person in the eye. "Well, here's the way I see it. They're looking for us at the moment, and I guarantee they want blood. I think if we stay here, they'll find us some time next morning. Probably an hour or two after sunlight. Meaning we can't stay here very long. At the same time we have an interesting opportunity, we strike. A good portion of thier men will be our searching for us tomorrow. I saw at least 4 cars, cars which may contain more than one person per vehicle. We know they have only about 20 people in thier group based from the guy I interrogated. "

"Now Austin, this isn't about Skylynn, Ive killed the men responsible for her death. This is about safety and the survival of those here. Not only will we be eliminating a threat, but we will be getting our and on vital medical supplies like Jennifer's meds. Let's say we skip town, maybe we'll luck out and find her a few more. The most likely situation however, is that she'll die an excruciatingly painful death in a week or so without them. If we get lucky, her screams of agony won't draw in a horde of zeds. Then there is Tiffany. She's going to be giving birth soon. If by any chance there is some kind of complication, we'd need the resources that the hospital has to offer."

"I know what Im suggesting is dangerous, hell I'll be getting shot at right along side of you. When I was flying solo there would have been no chance in hell of me actually considering something like this, but now, peoples' lives are on the line." Holliday then motioned to a certain grumpy bastard. "But you know Austin, if that doesn't matter to you, I won't blame you. Skip town if you'd like town and move out. If you don't care enough to have our backs, then why would we you watching them. You might pull a Shane Walsh for all we know." Overtime Holliday had grown a bit irritated with the man and was letting his anger vent a little. Finally he took in a deep breath regaining a bit of his composure. The he began to address everyone once more.

"Something was started here today that I feel we need to see through to the end. Ive seen more than enough from all of you to know that we can pull this off. I believe it. We'd need to work together though, absolute trust and teamwork. Ive spent a lot of time lately trying to think of a plan that could work, and would be happy to share what I have come up with. First however there are two issues of importance. Like Tammy said, we need a little sleep. If we don't get any rest we won't be able to think clearly later on and our movements and reactions time will be off. It should be more than safe for us to stay here and rest until daybreak. Second is I don't want Tiffany involved in conflict in any way." Holliday turned to look her in the eye, "Not only would you be putting yourself at an unnecessary risk, but you'd in general be a liability in the heat of battle. It would be better if you were attend to Josh somewhere safe."

"I promise that Ill be where the battle is thickest. Unlike a lot of people Im good under the pressure of a real gunfight. Something I noticed about these men is that they don't seem to be. When their commander was killed earlier they panicked and fled. They only like to fight when the battle is in their favor. If we run we are only making that so. If we show up on their doorstep however, they might just crack. That what I have to say for now. Thank you."

As holliday spoke she listened she usually did and he sat next to her where she just slept she was still standing adjusting her body to soak up the heat of the fire. Miyuki mentioned the winter season and she really could feel the difference in the air. Even the wind rustled differently. Tammy yawned shaking off her exhaustion and continued to listen to longshot. It appeared the plans for this attack was well intergrated. She debated continuing her thoughts out loud but waited for him to finish.

As he finished his speech with a Thank you Tammy soon realized that this plan might need to wait until morning. She ralleyed the thought of keeping this conversation going but debated it's safer for this group to get alot of rest it was probably about 10 pm by now. She cracked her knuckles .

"Thank you longshot, you've made extremely valid points." She inhaled slowly, "honestly these all are very vital pieces we should all be atentative too. There are wounded and sick. But these supplies from this hospital will be vital. There will be a great goal to achieve. I can hold my weight in close quarters as I am not injured yet." Her voice almost was lost with the wind at the end. She knew she could not survive forever with a mere crowbar.

"There will be plans to be made but our best bet is getting, shut eye." She mocked in hollidays voice. "Her grumpy side showed a tad. But she mixed it with some comedy instead. "Let's rest get everything else situated early tomorrow." She cocked her head a bit and sat back down on top of the rock next to holliday. She turned to him. Bodies sat next to each other."can we all do that please?" Everyone seemed so different compared to the old world.

@Shimakage Thunder @Jennifer Shotain @KathleneWilliams2121

Holliday over at Tammy who was still close to him. He shook his head slightly. "No, I think you missed the point a bit. We need to move in the morning the second we are up. There will be no time to dilly-dally. We need to prep now whilst we still have a bit of time. That way we can sleep easy."

@tammynorthland

Tammy adjusted her thoughts. "Ok I see where your at now. That does make sense." She then begun to get comfortable and started fiddling around in her backpack. She was searching for something. She looked up. "What's next longshot!?"

@Tombstone

Miyuki looks over at Holliday as he explained the plan. She hated to admit it but Holliday had a point, this was their best chance on getting a safe hide out. What he said sounds simple....but was it doable. She sighs as she stands up from petting the dog, "If you are 100% sure that there are no more then 20 people in the hospital then maybe....just maybe....we can take them on. I agree that Tiffany should go protect Josh somewhere far from the hospital but I think another person should go with her, as back up," she says as she looks over at Tiffany, "If that's alright with you that is." Miyuki turns her head back to the group and then Holliday. "Do you have any plans on getting inside and how to take them down? Without a plan, this battle will be pointless. "

Austin thrust the stick he'd been stoking the fire with into the fire when Holliday had decided to address him, "Maybe I will skip town then." The man stood up and moved away from the small camp and into the darkness, he was so damn frustrated for many reasons. The teenager got under his skin by just existing which only further pushed Austin as he didn't understand why. Why was he acting like some brat not getting his way? Holliday's points were valid and the kid knew what he was doing, Holliday just seemed at home, almost in his element. But Austin? He struggled desperately to survive this long, and he still didn't feel like he had any sort of foothold on this world, and he was twice Holliday's age.

The man entered the treeline, listening to the nightlife and eventually pausing at the riverbank, staring at the flowing water in the moonlight. They talked about killing people like it was nothing, sure those they would be up against were supposedly assholes but who's to say they don't have families in there. Holliday got intel but there is no way to tell how much was true or how much was left out.

They wouldn't want me to have their back anyways... He had the back of his former group and look what happened to them, dead, every last one of them. They are better off without me.

Austin stood staring at the same spot for several minutes, his mind finally made up.

She cradled Josh and looked over at Miyuki. "Yeah, I would prefer if it wasn't just me and little Josh. Its hard to cradle a baby and aim with a pistol at the same time." she sighed. "But regardless of whatever plan you guys have to clean that hospital out. I'm game." She added as she fidgeted a little and tried to stay comfortable. When she felt a few contractions, she held her belly as she looked down. "Well, the sooner the better. I don't wanna give birth in the middle of a firefight." She said, scared that she may go into labor soon.

Miyuki watches Austin leave and sighs, she wanted to go after him, to find out what was wrong but she decided against it. 'He needs time and room to think,' She thinks to herself as she looks over at Tiff who was talking about her part of the plan. Miyuki admired how strong Tiffany was. Pregnant and living in this world. Miyuki knew Tiffany was in pain, she didn't need to tell her that to tell. Miyuki put a hand on Tiffany's shoulder, "Don't worry. If this all goes to plan, you will be able to deliver the little one." Miyuki tries to keep a positive attitude, hoping it would help the young mother. She had no idea how this was going to play, but....she felt like she owes it to her to at least try.

@Shimakage Thunder

Listening to Miyuki speak, she brought up very valid points. Holiday soon chimed in on his thoughts. He also did bring up some valid points. But there seemed to be some tension between him and Austin. Austin did not want to go through with attacking the hospital, as he made it seem. And, in all honesty, in her own head, she kind of agreed with Holiday on this one. This raid did seem crucial in a sense for the group, but undoubtedly for Jennifer herself. The amount of her medication that could be in there could be the difference for her living for more than the time she has left in medication now, which was low; several days at the most. She would have to count up again. Regardless of the decision that would be made, and if Austin went with it or not, she felt an impending brawl coming up between them in the future. It seemed like the two alpha males had a hard tome getting along. This won't be good if they can't play nice to each other in the future, but not only for them, but the rest of this group, as well. Austin got up and walked away. This is when Jennifer knew things were going to get complicated.

Deciding to keep to herself, Jennifer walked to the other side of the fire, and knelt down. First, she checked her magazines. Quite a few were empty, and needed to be reloaded. Since there was what seemed like an impending battle, she knew she would need them loaded. Grabbing her boxes of ammunition, she took the rounds out and loaded them into her magazines. She loaded all but two of them; she was out of boxes of ammo at this point. Not only was she low on meds, but ammunition. And being that her rifle shot a round that wasn't as common as others, she was in a bit of trouble. Maybe she would need to find an AR-15, or something that shoots a more common cartridge.

The more Jennifer thought and sat about what they were going to do, the more she questioned herself on it.

What if there are innocent people just like me and someone else here. What if we're going to go and end a bunch of people's lives who just are trying to survive and be good people in the process. What if they didn't know about what those people did to us?

The more Jennifer thought about it, the more the moral side of her couldn't stand. She had to get up and say something.

"Hey, everyone, I just want to say something," Jennifer said, looking around, her voice uneasy and shaky. "You're not going to like it, because it is a 180 from how I was before on this, but I feel I have to say something. Those people who attacked us today were certainly worthy of their demise. They attacked us, we were defending ourselves. But these people, the ones at the hospital. What if there is more to it then just what we think. What if there are good, innocent people there, just like us. Sure, they said they had twenty there to Holiday, but what if that's a lie? What if there are more? And what if there are good people there?" Jennifer paused, and looked at the ground before continuing. "Those people who attacked us today did it randomly. We were minding our own business and they attacked us. But what if some of the people there had nothing to do with it? What if they were sent out by some asshole leader. What if the rest are unaware of it? When we attack, to those possible good people there, what makes us any better than the ones who attacked us and killed one of our own for supplies? What of there are innocent people there who have nothing to do with it, and we go shooting up the place for their supplies and revenge. Does that make us any better than the ones who attacked us? What if it is possible that we can talk to them and broker a deal and avoid possible more bloodshed? This way, nobody has to die. I don't want to be the judge, jury, and executioner of a bunch of people who may have absolutely nothing to do with the ones who attacked us earlier. What if they were the boogie men of this guy. And the rest there are innocent people, good people like us, just trying to survive, and their leader doesn't tell them a word about what he has his henchmen do? What if the leader has people there who are completely in the dark. They go out, kill these people, get their stuff, and bring it back and lie to them about how they got it. What if those people don't know a damn thing? Is it right then to just go shoot up a place? Anyway, that's all I wanted to say."

Jennifer, taking a deep breath and sighing, turned around and returned to her backpack. She began to check her inventory on other things in there. She said what she wanted. She was going to let it sink in with the others for them to consider.

Tori hadn't drifted off for long before it seemed the whole camp was shifting around her, The blonde was reluctant to open her eyes having found comfort and relaxation for the first time in days. Not to mention now that she had finally stopped to lay down she realized just how exhausted and sore her very bones were. Her very eyelids burned to stay closed but when she heard why everyone was stirring and the discussion began she sighed. Tori slowly forced her eyes open and spent afew moments listening and staring into the flickering orange and red hues of the fire. It was quite hypnotizing and she could feel her lids starting to droop shut again so she sat herself up in one sharp motion. Her back twinged at how fast she moved and she screwed her face up quickly fixing herself into a better sitting position. She didn't speak up right off and instead combed her fingers through her hair as she listened to everyone else. Her eyes went to Miyuki when she spoke and then traveled to Holiday..he had good points but her eyes narrowed when he addressed Austin. "Hey lay off" she snapped. She could sense the tension between them and she knew Austin could be an awkward and grump git at times but still, Perhaps it was cause he was one of the first people she had met after this disaster but she felt a little protective. Besides she knew what Holdiay was saying wasn't true, If Austin didn't give a shit he would never have pulled her onto that rooftop in the first place and he sure as hell wouldn't have risked himself by sticking with them this far, dude just clearly had some issues.

Tori rubbed at her face and went quiet as they carried on, Her eyes flickered to grumpy when he walked off but she didn't follow, She figured she would give him afew moments and she wanted to hear what everyone else had to say. She let out a long breath after a while when most of them had voiced their opinion..it seemed like people had made there mind up already but it was all happening pretty fast..in all honesty she didn't really know what she thought herself. It was a big decision with such a short time to make it but the timing was hardly something they had control over when they basically had death on their ass. Tori looked over at Jen when she spoke up and she nodded to some of the things she said..it was true what if there were families in there..kids that sort of thing who had to sit down and make a decision just like they were now..but that was kinda what this world had come to wasn't it? survival of the fittest? but she didn't know if she was prepared to live that way. Gun someone just so she could have it better and what she needed? "Ya know saying that all their people are out right now and so it is easy to take is all well and good but what if they come to take it back huh?" she asked and looked over to Holiday "I mean since your the one that seems to wanna take the lead on this, When they realize what is happening and they wanna try take it back i mean there aren't allot of us, even lesser when we count who can shoot or fight. Throw a pregnant woman, a baby into the mix..its risky..and yea i know not doing it is risky too" she sighed softly "I mean i wanna get meds for jen as much as anyone else. She's my friend and yeah we need somewhere safe but is anywhere really? Eventually we are always going to have to move one somewhere else and even at that...are you all prepared to stone cold shoot someone so you can have what they have? cause then what makes use any different from them?" She shook her head and got to her feet dusting off her clothes. " mean we are talking here like we have to go in full throttle guns blazing and kill but we havn't even considered the possibility of talking to these people..or if the people left behind might even wanna join us? it doesn't have to be all death cause honestly..i really don;t know if im prepared to kill someone, just cause the worlds gone t shit doesn't mean we have too" Tori frowned to herself and picked up her backpack. "I just dunno it is allot to take in and think about and making a knee jerk decision could be the end of us.."n She kicked at the ground a bit "I think we need a better plan and one that doesn't include killing everyone in that hospital.." she shrugged "I'll go get grumpy" she decided and turned in the general direction Austin had went.

Miyuki looks over at Jen and Tori. She felt that the hospital was their best chance on getting Jen's pills and Tiffany to safety. Killing a bunch of people......well that was nothing new. She stands up and walks over to Jen who was checking her bag. She leans against a tree and decided to speak up. "What's with the sudden change of mind?" She asks as she looks over at her, wondering what Jen was thinking about. "I mean I understand what you are saying, about killing innocent people that didn't know what happened,but what if they aren't innocent.....if I remember right you were attacked by a group of people who tried to kill you just a few days ago," Miyuki says as she looks over at Jen.

@Jennifer Shotain

"My change of mind has to do with what little we really know about this group. I don't like killing people. I don't like to possibly kill people who don't deserve it. I don't like to kill at all if I don't have to. I'm not a murderer, and I try to keep a sense of morality. If I knew they all knew about this, then I can feel attacking," Jennifer replies to Miyuki. "But," continuing, "we don't know, and that is precisely what I don't like."

Miyuki then proceeded to question Jennifer on the people who attacked her before they met. Jennifer sighed. She knew they weren't involved with the hospital group. But who they were involved with was something she was hesitant on stating.

"They attacked me, yeah. But I have great reason to believe that they were not involved with this group. I'm almost positive on that. That's all I have to say about that," said Jennifer, trying to get out of the question. She didn't want to tell the others who she thought they were. Not yet. She had to be certain.

There was a bit of an awkward silence, before Jennifer spoke again.

"Hey," Jennifer said, standing up, "if you want to sleep, I'll take over guard duty. I have some shit on my mind. I'd rather be up for a reason as opposed to trying to sleep and be unable to."

So that Miyuki wouldn't worry, Tiffany agreed to stay out of the fight and remain in relative safety until the fight was over and done with. In the meantime, she would be taking care of Josh and sleeping for the most part anyway. However, she would have a lot to do after they take over. Bit who is going to be staying with her. "The least I can do is care for Jennifer and myself while you guys all go out and fight. I should have some meds in the Jeep somewhere, but supplies are dwindling, so after we get the hospital, you guys may want to go on a supply run or something." she suggested.

@KathleneWilliams2121 @Jennifer Shotain

Miyuki sighs as she looks over at Jen, "I wasn't worried if they were apart of the group in the Hospital; chances of that happening are slim to none. No I'm talking about how there isn't really anything as innocent people anymore." Miyuki says as she sighs. She hears Jen talk about taking the first watch while she gets some sleep. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she was tired as she didn't get much sleep the night prior. She nods her head as she looks over at Jen, "Ya, alright. If you need anything, just yell." She says as she walks over to a tree and sits down and leans back. She didn't close her eyes, but was just thinking.

@Jennifer Shotain

"What in the fuck just happened?" Holliday said to himself under his breath. At the drop of the hat, it seemed like everyone had turned against him. Sure he caught a little flak for yelling at Austin, that was to be expected, but to have several people just turn on his plan? They were questioning the "innocence" of a group who had attacked them. Holliday was slightly dumbfounded. Did they really think some guy with an eyepatch and charismatic southern accent was lying to those following him? Or perhaps they were ordered by force? Even if it was that last one, we all learned from the Nuremberg trials that an individual is responsible for his own actions. Holliday silently agreed with Miyuki. Still the group seemed to prefer vainly believing that there was still good in the world. "Tch." He looked up sharply and then quickly eyed all of the doves then shook his head. "Eventus Stultorum Magister," he spoke with a slight condemning tone.

With that he turned and walked over to the outskirts of the camp, finding the solitude more to his liking. Slowly Holliday sat down with his back leaning against a tree and his feet outstretched. He still couldn't figure it out. Why had they changed their minds so quickly? Did they really expect some kind of happy ending? He decided the lot of them were hopeless dreamers. He fumbled in his pocket for what was left of his unfinished cigar from earlier. What he instead felt was an old wallet. Slowly he pulled it out and unfolded the leather flaps. It contained $52, a few business cards, an old photo, and a driver's license. Holliday didn't know why he kept it as it didn't belong to him. It belonged to another hopeless dreamer, a man long since dead, a man he held with the greatest contempt. So much so that he had to put it away after only second of looking at it. Still, the hatred kept him warm. He thought back to a Johnny Cash song he had heard when retuning with Tori, and began softly singing the lyrics.

"You can run on for a long time

Run on for a long time

Run on for a long time

Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Sooner or later God'll cut you down"

(Eventus Stultorum Magister is latin and directly translates into Experience is the teacher of fools. The intended meaning however is somewhere along the lines of "You idiots are going to have to learn the hard way.")

Miyuki's head looks up as she sees Holliday sitting by his lonesome at a tree. She sighs, as now would be as good of a time as any to think up of a plan of what to do at the hospital. Getting up, Miyuki walks over to the fellow teen as she hears him singing a song under his breath. She smiles only slightly she walks up to the tree that he sat at and leans against it, "Not a bad singer." she says as she looks down at him, "For a smoker I mean." She sighs. It was honestly nice to hear someone sing, not like she had any skills in the task. It was rare to hear someone to so something so simple in the world they live in. Shaking her head, that wasn't the reason she came over. Sighing she keep her head up but continues to talk to Holliday, "What's the plan....or do you even have one?"
