Realistic or Modern Zombie Apocalypse

Tori laughed when she first heard the girlfriend comment and she clutched her chest dramatically like some swooning damsel in a shitty cheese ball rom-com "Oh..oh bit of only!" she declared and put a hand to her head looking off into the distance for added effect of course "If only..g-grumpy would give me such a title.." she whispered and pretended to wipe away an imaginary tear. She dropped her act and started to laugh hard, she glance over at Austin as he climbed down from the building and walked towards her. This time Tori wiped some very real tears from her eyes, Tears of laughter that is. Gosh her cheeks hurt from how much she was making herself laugh in the last hour. She shook her head at that and composed herself.

"Weel i didn't find a back door but i find it doubtful there is only one way in and out of this place..so there is probably like a hatch out or something somewhere. I shall skulk around for it tomorrow..to be honest im just pretty beat and i think everyone else is done for the night too" she admitted. She nodded thoughtfully when he explained some people were going to be sleeping out here, That was a good idea..smart she decided..they should take turns on watches or something, couple of hours each at a time. "If there is going to be people sleeping out here then i would rather not barricade the door, You never know when they might need to make a quick entrance" she pointed out. If a hoard did end up this way the mill might actually be a pretty good place to take up in to fend them off. Tori placed her hands on her hips and looked around the surrounding areas thoughtfully, It seemed pretty quiet now though.

Tori ran a hand over her face "if we are planning on staying here for any length of time the place will need fortified though and supplies but..we can deal with that tomorrow when we know who is sticking around" She cast Austin a meaningful look at that she knew he had been keen to get dragged into all this group business in the first place but hey he was still here and she figured more than just her was glad he was. She smirked to herself she was pretty sure he was glad too even if he wouldn't admit it even to himself. "Guess we should all catch some shut eye eh mister firefighter?" she teased lightly.

@Crono

David was relieved, he'd thought that this woman wouldn't trust him under any circumstance, but once he heard how she really felt and offered a sincere apology, he eased up a bit.

"Don't worry about it, many people would fight a reason to fight themselves these days. We're all just looking for something to be angry at."

He paused, he had to think over how much supplies would actually be left. He decided to stick with the idea that about half are still there. Luckily, to prevent complete looting, ZRS helicopters have compartments in the actual walls of the cargo bay for hidden storage, they stored half on the outside, half on the inside.

"Well when I left it, it was a complete mess. The, uh, 'zombies' were scattered there. But that was a while ago, I'd say we'd only find a couple there drawn to whatever's... left of my squad... and the flames. Luckily, ZRS helicopters are built for these situations. That helicopter was carrying half a month's worth of supplies on it to last at least 15 people, if it was completely looted, one week worth. If it was completely looted, we'll all have about two weeks worth of supplies, assuming nobody else joins our group today."

He smiled, chuckling as he crosses his arms in front of him, thinking a bit harder.

"Of course, that's only in food, immunosuppressants would come in perhaps two, maybe three weeks worth for a single person."

He put his hands into his pockets, he leaned back out onto the roof.

"Hey Miyuki, I'll be back in about five minutes, if you see trouble, come get Austin or I quick!"

He half-yelled at her as she sat there, making her arrows.

"I'll go ask Austin about this plan, if he wants to go and we can maybe find one more person willing to join us, we'll set out by the morning."

He walked away, heading downstairs to find him talking with Tori. He stepped next to him, talking lightly.

"Hey, Austin, Jen needs immunosuppressants. Long-story-short, there's a chance that there's still some supplies on the bird I crashed in, including suppressants. We came up with the idea that I could leave in the morning, all I need is for you to come with me, and maybe someone else. Think it over, and get back to me by the morning."

@Crono @Jennifer Shotain @KathleneWilliams2121

Austin scoffed at the woman continuing the charade, "In your dreams." With hands on his sides he shook his head in annoyance. Women. Then Tori was talking about this place as long-term, this group as long-term. Austin's instincts told him to run, leave in the night, this was a commitment to something he didn't want...they all seemed decent enough, they wouldn't need him. But the man caught sight of the look Tori was giving him, and it sent him back to the conversation they'd had on the roof of the gas station.

Austin sighed, "Of course the woman who passes out amidst chaos wants to get some sleep." His words came out in a more frustrated tone than he'd meant, and he rolled his eyes and rubbed over his face with his hand. "I meant that with less attitude." His tone calm and neutral with his apology. Thankfully David came strolling up, speaking of the medicine Jennifer needed. "Yeah I'd thought about going out to search for a pharmacy or hospital in the morning. Maybe drag you along, let you prove this worth you seem to want to show everybody. She needs the med's and she's in no condition to go out and get them." And I'd told her I'd go with her to get them.

David spoke of his helicopter crash and how it would have some on it. That's rather convenient. Austin noted, And just me, maybe one other? Not awfully suspicious at all. Austin wanted to trust David, but the man made it so damn difficult, but Austin wasn't about to let on that he was suspicious about this. "So it is true, you do just want to get me alone." He teased in his rather broody tone, with a faint smile on his face. Following that he shook his head to get back on topic, "No, yeah I'm in. We'll see who else is interested I suppose."

@Lola Shimmer @Lekar

"Oh yes it is all my hopes and dreams come true at once" Tori stated when Austin claimed in her dreams. "Though you kinda have to be sleeping regularly for dreams sooo eh " She shrugged but sighed softly seeing the look that passed on his face the second she spoke of anything longer than a day. It was pretty much what she had expected to see of course but still she wasn't gonna push everyone had their sotry and she figured he had his reasons for the whole loner gig thing. Wasn't her business to know.. She let out a chuckle at his tone about her wanting to sleep after being the one to go all man down earlier "Hey there is a difference between restful sleeping and passing the fuck out and dude screw your apology i can take a little attitude" she rolled her eyes "It is actually refreshing with so many people playing nicey nice" She pointed out Tori wasn't one for all airs and graces like yeah sure be civil but man just say how you feel if your pissed be pissed if your happy then go for it.

Tori's attention turned to Army 101 when he came over and she went quiet as she listened to what he had to say. Her eyes immediately started to darken with suspicion, That sounded more than a little risky. This guy did just turn up today and even so they could run into a large group of zombies..or worse people. If a heli went down she sure as hell knows she would be at it..even if she couldn't find food people could use its parts for other stuff. "I think you might need more people than that" she said matter of factly "I would volunteer and all but my track record with being useful in reassure situations is a little spotty..and my combat skills at present moment are spotty..but we are really only going to need two people here who are good with weapons. It's been quiet and we can hold our own with somewhere to use as defense at least." she looked toward the mill properly and thought of the things she found to barricade with earlier. When the group went out for supplies the rest of them could lock themselves in until they got back. "You two if you go should take who you need..i mean obviously jen and the doc..and the other pregnant one tiff..would need to stay and maybe that tammy girl..they are both good with guns..i think we could hold the place down and more hands make light work right?" And more people on our side that go out make the chances of our people being murdered she thought to herself. "Just a thought though i mean obviously it's not like im an expert.." She was gonna add something stupid about being an avid gamer though and strategy was everything! but she had gotten tired f her own joked at this point and decided not to inflict them upon anyone else. Exhaustion was a merciful lady.

@Crono @Lekar

"Sure, because going with only two people seems like a good idea... But seriously, it's not like we have anyone else here who can handle a gun right. If you're worried about the count we may come across, don't worry, it downed days ago. Whatever was there when it crashed has moved on. I have a way to get back with little-to-no confrontations. It's all backstreets, alleys, and woods. If we need to, we can look around at the able-bodied people and see what they're made of."

David stopped, scratching the base of his neck as he turned to look at the girl.

"Spotty, eh? Well bad spots can be washed out, if you're up for it, I can give you some tips. Of course, we'll have to do it either before or after Austin and I and whoever else decides to join, if any, leave for our run."

He turns back to Austin, if he's going to drag this man along, he may as well tell him the situation.

"So, ZRS cargo helicopters are built differently than you'd expect, and that's the point. This information is given only to high-rank squad members, so nobody else can possibly know this.- Each ZRS cargo bird is built significantly thicker on the walls, not only for protection, but for extra storage. This storage can only be accessed by cutting into certain areas of the cargo bay manually, the areas are made soft enough so that pretty much any old knife can get through. In these compartments, half of all supplies that are being transferred are stored secretly. If we lose a bird and it gets scavenged clean, no big deal, a recollection team can fly through when the mess settles and collect half of the helicopter's true supplies."

David decided to stop and let that sink in, he wanted Austin to know exactly what they were looking for so he wouldn't see an empty helicopter and jump to conclusions.

And there was David once again shoving his tips, training, and look at me I know what I'm doing while your a bunch of amateur's attitude down someone else's throat. He's good at what he does but he's not a damn bloody expert, they've all been in this apocalypse for months, whatever they've been doing on their own has worked so far. So Austin stood patiently, holding back the urge to sock him in the face or whatever else he could think of.

With David continuing with his knowledge on the copter Austin shifted his weight on one foot in thought, "So we swing by a hardware store on the way and grab something to get inside. Blowtorch maybe? And for the record you are way too damn cocky for your own good. What makes you think that it'll be a breeze? That this path you've mapped out in your head is going to be clear?" Arching a brow at the other mans direction Austin scratched at the back of his head and averting his gaze elsewhere before coming back to meet David's gaze and taking a calm breath. "Out there anything can happen, I know you know that. So stop downplaying it as a simple task with a simple route."

@Lola Shimmer @Lekar

Tori raised an Eyebrow at David as he started to talk and she let out a shirt breath of laughter but didn't speak just yet. Hell she would let him get it all out of his system. The woman slowly uncrossed her arms and placed them on her hips giving him the once over and she even started to circle around him when he was done talking to her and all the while she listened to what he said to Austin before finally coming back around to stand in front of him again, "Well sunshine id on't see no damn stickers on you that makes you anything other than what we are and i am pretty damn sure you ain't psychic for shit so unless you git eyes n them roads and back allys and woods you are taking you don't have a damn clue what's out there" She said firmly. "But hey man you have a plan right? so it's all gonna be peachy?" she asked an titled her head to the side You don't know us and yu do not have a damns clue what gun's ir skills sets or anything else we got..breaking news Rambo you just got here so stop undermining us at every freaking turn cause we made it this long didn't we?" She pointed out and shook her head. "you have no clue what could be at that crash sight now, one horde moved on sure but another could be there or like i said people what the hell is stopping someone from a group like you going rogue? that chopper could be stripped bare by now by someone who knows all it's little secrets as well as you do and quite honestly the extra man power i think should be sent wasn't for your benefit. It was more for ours cause i really don't feel like sending people I know out with someone i don't. Specially when their plan is ropy as hell"

Tori took a deep breath and backed up a bit. She was tired and hungry and hell this guy was just rubbing her up the wrong way and everything felt ten times more irritable that it should have been but still she wasn't one for not speaking her mind she wasn't gonna stop now. "In case you forgot dude you are the newbie here and you aren't calling the shots. we are. You still have trust to earn and dragging a tiny ass group on what could be a Z infested heli probably isn't the best start. We have plenty of people to keep us covered. So whoever wants to go should go." She turned and started to head back to the mill "I dont care if you were in some specially trained unit for zombies..you fucking train for the undead mate it is just something that shat on us all and we were left to deal with it so stop acting like everything will be fine just cause you got some mad skills. You can't damn well be prepared for everything no matter how good you try to make yourself sound." she called over her shoulder and headed on inside before she cause any other arguments and in all honesty if Tori lost her temper enough she would swing for the idiot and she had a feeling she would get knocked on her ass and she really up for giving out that kind of satisfaction today. She muttered "Dumbass " under her breath to herself.

@Crono @Lekar

David was disappointed, he was ashamed, he could only blame himself, he tried too hard.

"I understand... thanks for the input..."

He said lowly, he was pretty down about being put into his place. He did feel better knowing how people actually felt, though.

"I'm not doing this for myself, if Jen doesn't have those meds in five days, she's gone... I'm not going to let some opinions stop me, if nobody will join me, I'll go alone."

He dropped his arms down to his side, looking down at the ground as he says nothing else.

'Idiot,'

He thought to himself, his military ways always got in the way of his social skills. He couldn't help himself.

'Why can't you just be normal anymore?'

He could only keep thinking as he keeps his way up to the roof, he'd been off-duty for too long. He opened up to the roof, the first thing he sees is Miyuki, still at-work at her arrows. He stands next to her.

"I'm back, have you seen anything down there?"

He asks, looking down at her.

"It's all right if you weren't looking..."

He knew that conversation would go nowhere, and decided to just let it out.

"I'm leaving in the morning. Jen needs those medications, if I have to, I'll leave alone. If I do and anyone asks where I am, can you please tell them to not come after me? Hell, they probably wouldn't even try coming after me even if you told them."

Tammy picked up her gear and started to walk off. "I wouldn't open it then the formula has a spoiling date. Take it or leave it. " She smiled a bit and then began to walk off. She was not being rude but she's always been hard headed so no point in explaining that to them. She walked up to the second floor and found a spare room with the pregnant passed out woman in there. She layed down using her pack as a pillow. She had no covers but put on a sweater. She was tired of being on the move so this was the safest place she's been at in a while. She was thinking about the past, how she used to party with her friends and relax on the beach in her hometown... she let a tear fall off her cheek. She was so tired and frustrated. Nothing went her way she was so weak. She didn't even know how to use her pistol. Several hours of running just to meet people that she didn't even trust. She wanted help and now One-Eye came in making tammy nervous. She didn't like him coming up behind her. But she believed who he was and what he wants to do.

- "the zombie reaction squad..." She chimed. Tammy knew he would serve her a great asset but first she needed sleep.

'I need food.' Tammy thought. 'I need to-....' Tammy passed out like a light.

It was admittedly an awkward moment when Austin felt he'd blown up a bit, only to have Tori outdo him in that area then storm off heatedly. And my oh my did she leave David in a state, Austin nearly felt bad for the guy, but he'd sort of asked for it. So Austin stood there quietly, "I said I'd go didn't I?" Austin said as David said his peace before walking off himself but then rolled his eyes the moment he was alone and threw his hands up in the air having given up. David didn't even stick around to try and go over the route he wanted to use, which irked Austin, the man hated waiting til the last minute which it would seem that was going to be done in the morning. Maybe it was for the best, after everyone cooled off and slept on things.

@Lekar @Lola Shimmer

Miyuki tiled her head up as she hears David above her, "Oh, ok." She says as she sits up and yawns. "Don't say that." She said when she heard what David said about the group. "I'm sure someone would be worried." She stood up and looks down at the ground, "It's nice of you to go get her drug and all, but don't you think I should go? I mean.....I am the fastest, and the youngest. I can get there and back in an afternoon." She wanted to do something for Jen, she already put up with enough today and wanted to make up for how she treated them in the beginning. "I think I should go." Miyuki stands up and looks over at David.

@Lekar

Aidan wanted to grab the formula for herself but it wasn't her place to take it. It was different if Doc took it. Doc needed it for the baby and everyone was somewhat in debt to her, Tiffany and Miyuki due to the fact that they were all taking shelter in their home. If Aidan took it, she simply would be partially in debt to Tammy and she hated that feeling. She already owed people for saving her ass earlier in the day.

How she wanted to get away from the crowd. Her limits were certainly being tested. Thankful that Tammy had gone to bed, Aidan herself got up. It was time to search for those blankets she promised. "I'll be back right back. I'm going to search for bedding or something of the sort."

She wandered the building. It wasn't the best area to look for something soft and cuddly. At best this place had mostly mechanical parts which at some point must have converted into electrical. She reached a room that must have been by the wheel. Along with being slightly more drafty, a rod came in from the wall and was attached to most mechanical parts by what looked like some kind of belt. She was hoping to find some worker uniforms but it didn't seem she would be that lucky. On the other hand, she did find what looked like a spare belt for the machine. It looked like it was made of a tough fabric. Feeling it and she quickly realized, it was just a type of plastic and it was much tougher than she had previously thought. Perhaps they could still use it as a mat to sleep on. After making an attempt to move it, she realized it wasn't going anywhere fast. She prided herself in being strong and this thing was definitely heavy. Looking back around the machine she spotted a diagram with two caution figures replacing the belt. The following picture showed various parts falling and harming the poor helpless figures. They never stood a chance. Aidan sighed before moving on. It took her a while but at some point she found what looked like a pair of incredibly moldy pair of overalls. She moved it and found beetles and other bugs scuttling into the folds. Perhaps these could be roasted and eaten later, she wouldn't want to sleep on them though. A pair of cracked goggles lay nearby the clothes. They wouldn't serve any purpose, they were broken beyond repair, but Aidan looked around before putting them on anyway. After looking at everything through shattered and foggy lenses, Aidan wisely debated that this was at least a little silly. At the same time she didn't want to take them off. It reminded her of being nerdy with friends. At this thought she changed her mind and slowly took them off. The sweet moment alone was gone. It was time to rejoin what was left of society.

Everyone seemed to be settling down and going to bed. After finding an area nearby Jennifer, Aidan set herself down. She patted her cargo pants down, making sure she hadn't lost anything. Everything seemed to have been in place, seeds safely in their pack, her remaining shells rolling about, and the medicine safely tucked in the bottom of all the contents. She didn't know whether or not to wish everyone a good night. Aidan ended up dozing off before she could decide.

@Aryn Harris @Jennifer Shotain @tammynorthland

Once David left, Jennifer finally laid down and began to close her eyes. A dramatic day was going to end with her being somewhat cold, inside of a mill, freshly patched up injury, surrounded by the people she met during the day. Jennifer didn't try to reflect on anything before she slept, contrary to what she would do when the world was normal and she had an issue on her mind. But for tonight, it was about sleep. It was a bit cold in the mill, but it wasn't bad. She could handle it. The only thing that really bothered her was her wound. The pain decided to creep up as she attempted to dose off into the night. The pain would be almost pulsating in the way it hurt her. She tried to negate it and sleep. She heard Aidan come near her and lie down. It was nice to have someone she did trust close near her. It gave her a sense of security, whether it be false security or not. Jennifer herself was very tired. And as the pain died down, Jennifer drifted into a deep sleep.

Skylynn sighed softly and let out a small yawn. She was tired, sure, but she didn't think that she was going to get any sleep tonight. She watched as Jennifer layed down and she smiled. 'So she's finally taking my advice.' She thought to herself and looked down at Josh. His eyes were opened and she gently kisses his forehead.

"Hey buddy. This definitely isn't the world I would have liked to have you in, but I'm glad that you're here." Sky said quietly to him, hoping to not disturb anyone else.

David admired Miyuki's tenacity, he decided not to let a hand go by.

"Well Miyuki, if you're really up for going, I won't stop you. But I have to make this clear, if we don't go the route I have planned out, we could end up in serious trouble. I'm not in any place to order you around, but I want you to think mighty hard about choices before you make them, this helicopter isn't going to be a cakewalk to reach."

He said slowly and firmly, he wanted to make sure that she understood completely the risks and dangers of going. He didn't take his eyes off the road loading to the building they were in, he watched the woods intently, if anything moved out there, he'd surely have to see it. Although, it was empty, really empty. All he could hear was the gentle chirp of crickets and eventual tweet of a bird. If there's one thing that came out of this mess, it was that humanity no longer distorted nature. He could look up at the sky and see all the stars because there were no more city lights, he could listen well and hear all the wildlife, because there were fewer vehicles. The world was at peace with itself, but humanity wasn't at peace in the world.

@KathleneWilliams2121

As tori stormed inside she made her way to the room she had found earlier. Once inside it she pulled the bag off her back and let it fall to the ground before yanking the shotgun over her head and slamming it down on one of the tables. She stood like that for a few moments, pressing the cold hard metal of the gun down onto the worn wood of the work table her hands clenched into fists. The woman had her eyes closed and her face hung as she took deep breaths reigning that temper tantrum back in. Sure some if the things she just said might have been a little harsh and could have been worded better but she wasn't sorry for saying them cause it was what she felt. Tori slowly opened her eyes and let go of the gun wiggling her fingers to get the feeling back in them. She massaged each hand gently with the other and turned around to lean on the table. "Eugh" she mumbled to herself. Her other always said she had one hell of a temper even when she was small and that out there had been event he start of it. She ran a hand down her face and gave herself a shake. Enough of that mood she decided and looked around the room. She had already ransacked the place so no point in doing it again.

About 20 minutes after entering the room Tori had pushed two of the tables together that had been allot heavier than they looked and hell they looked really heavy but she had in effect created herself a surface the size of just larger than a single bed so at least she had something to sleep on for the night. It wasn't on the ground either which meant she wasn't going t have to worry about rats or mice or something. That made a shiver run down the woman's spine, she wasn't a fan. Tori sat cross legged atop the tabled and hair now pushed into a messy bun on top of her head and the bag she had found earlier was bunched up into ball to use as a pillow later. The little tin box she had found sat opened beside her and the radio was in her hands. She had used the screwdriver to take the screws out and was now trying to pry it open with one of the knives she had found. She had decided this was where she was spending the night but she wasn't quite ready to sleep yet so she spent the nest little while just taking the radio apart and seeing what all would be useful inside it before she finally gave up and lay down. Tori stared at the ceiling for a while. She was starving, exhausted and in over her head in this mess but hey i'm still breathing she thought to herself. With that in mind the blonde closed her eyes and did her best to drift off to sleep.

Miyuki nods her head. "Of course I didn't think it would be easy, nothing is. I can pull myself out of any situation, it's everyone else I'm worried about." Miyuki pulls out her map of the areas as where she went. "Where is it?" She asks as she opens and shows him the map. She figured that it would be a good ten maybe fifteen miles away, the way David was talking about it. She also wondered about Austin, 'Is he going to tag along or is he going to stay behind......' She wasn't sure as to what was going to take place tomorrow but knowing the location would help ease her worried.

@Lekar

David surveys the map, it's a bit confusing at first, but maps are the least of his issues.

'This girl truly has everything she'll need.'

He thought to himself as he leans in, starting to point at where they're at before drawing a couple lines with his finger.

"From here, we'll need to go here. Once we reach the center of the city, this is where things get a bit tougher."

He draws a giant circle in the center of the city.

"This whole area is a dead-zone, if we get so much as suspected around here, we're done for."

He scratches his cheek before returning his finger to the map, drawing a couple lines through the streets and between buildings.

"Logically, and yes, these things follow an extent of logic, this path will lead to the least amount of conflict. If you're not ready to stab your way through a couple obstructions, you're not cut out to go. I won't say that this path is 'perfect' and that it will certainly have no threats, because that'd be a lie."

He ran his finger over to the end of the trail, leading to the woods.

"Once we're in the woods, we can follow a direct path to around here..."

He makes a giant circle in the woods.

"This is where the helicopter landed. I will say that the only thing the zombies will be drawn to is whatever activity is left there. Assuming that no bandits or survivors have gone to it, it will be, without a doubt, clear of hostility; including zombies."

He leans back, satisfied with himself, he lets the path sink in for a moment before speaking up again.

"And to answer your other question: Yes, Austin is coming... possibly. It all depends on whether or not he'll be up by the time we're ready to go. We want to go before it gets too bright so that we have a higher chance of being able to sneak around instead of making a mad bolt towards the objective. If he's not up before then, he's getting left behind, I'm not taking a half-awake man with me on a dangerous run."

Miyuki nodes as she rolls up the map, "wouldn't it be easier to jump over buildings? I'm sure that those things won't be on top or at least not as many." She didn't want to speak out of line, but she saw that was easier. She then yawns and holds her head as the affect of getting no sleep finally was starting to hit her. Miyuki rubs her eyes as she looks over at David, "I'm sure Austin will make it, didn't know him long but he seems to be a man of his word." She pulled off her quiver and stretched. She lies down on the bag and closes her eyes as she knew she would have to at least get a few hours of sleep to do the run tomorrow.

@Lekar

TIME SKIP

The sky started to glow as the was just starting to rise. Miyuki slowly opens her eyes as she stretches and yawn. Rubbing her eyes, she turned over and picks up her quiver and slings it on her back. Standing up, she walks over to meet up with David and Austin for the run. Hopefully it will go smoothly .....hopefully.

@austin @Lekar

When the sun started shining in her face, Tiffany woke up. It was a little tough getting up because of the position she slept in the previous night. She remembered being in a chair, but now she was elsewhere. Someone must have moved her in her sleep. She felt her back aching, but it went away as she stood up. She sure as hell felt a bit heavier too. Her thoughts quickly turned to Miyuki. The first thing she was going to do for the morning was go find her. She saw Miyuki interacting with David and Austin, so she decided to go see them off, assuming that they were going for a Scavenge Run.

@austin @Lekar @KathleneWilliams2121

"Mom? Dad? Little Brother? Why are you all here? You're all dead. This is impossible," Jennifer said as she looked at the backs that appeared to be of her family. She was trapped in a box with them. No windows, no doors, nothing outside of the box. They all stood on the opposite side of the box to Jennifer, facing the wall, and failing to respond to her.

"What the hell? How are you guys here? Why won't you answer me, god damn it," she screamed in frustration.

Jennifer couldn't move. Suddenly, the blank box turned into a lake, and her brother inside of it. Jennifer knew what this place was. It was the lake her brother contracted the brain eating amoeba from. She saw her brother, and her younger self, swimming and splashing about. She tried to run and get him out. But she couldn't move or say a word. Then, it turned into the hospital. Her brother was hooked up to medical devices. She watched as she was there, holding his hand, talking to him. He was struggling to stay aware.

"I want you to know I always loved you, brother. I'll meet you again someday, and we'll chase down those bad guys, Deputy," Jennifer's younger self said to her brother, crying hysterically.

Her brother tried to force out of his dying mouth that he loved her, but mid sentence, he started to fade away, and his last breath came out. He flat lined, and died, holding her hand. Watching this made Jennifer cry in her dream. She couldn't take it.

The scene now shifted to after the dead started to rise from the grave. She was in her house with her parents and another younger version of her.

She sat and watched as a pair of raiders entered her house. Her father started to shoot at them, and told Jennifer and her mother to run. They did. She heard her father stop shooting. As they made their way out of the house, and undead bit her mother. Jennifer was holding her hand, and watched in horror as her mother started to get chomped on by the undead, telling her to run and never look back. And squeezing out an "I love you" before the dream went into a blank box again.

This time, her brother lied there dead. Her father lied there with bullet holes throughout his body. And her mother lie there with most of her flesh removed from the undead. Sounds echoed from outside the box. And people started to move into it from the walls, as if there were none present. Men, men she has seen before.

"Why did you kill me, you little bitch," they all said to her as they moved closer, their faces blackened.

As they moved closer, light shined on their faces. It was the men she killed, the only people she has ever killed. They moved closer, asking the same question. Jennifer screamed in horror as they moved closer, and her dead family members got up and started to walk towards her. She was terrified. She tried to find a way out. She tried punching them as they got close. But once they did, they grabbed her. She couldn't move, and they continued to ask the same question over and over, before they all turned into walkers, and started to eat her alive.

"What the fuck," Jennifer said as she jumped up from her sleep. She was sweating, and tears seemed to roll down her cheeks.

What a fucking nightmare.

Jennifer looked around, and tried to calm herself down. The sun seemed to creep its way into the mill. She looked around and found that everyone was asleep around her. Wiping the sweat from her face, she got up and went over to her backpack and grabbed some food, and what little water she had left and didn't want to use. Being that they were by a river, she figured later on she could try and get some water, boil it, and then fill up all of her water bottles. She took her medicine as she ate a little snack she had.

Once she was done, she got up and walked out of the mill, trying to locate Austin or David to see what they were doing. The wound hurt, but it was manageable. But first, she went out and decided to sit and watch the sunrise. She leaned up against the mill, and sat herself down. She watched as the morning light had shined its way through the trees, reflecting off of the river, and showed the beauty of the Earth around her. Or rather the world around her when the undead weren't around. She pushed the hair our of her eyes, and peacefully watched the sun rise from the sky. She tried to forget the dream, though it was hard to forget. Oddly enough, it wasn't how things happened exactly. The dream differed from some of the events that really took place, mainly with her parents. But with her brother, it was so similar, it seemed so real. Jennifer felt as if she was there watching it happen again. It brought much pain to her heart, and she tried her hardest to not let it get to her. But even then, a single tear found its way out of her eyes and down her cheek.

Skylynn yawned softly and popped open one eye. She hadn't gotten much sleep last night because of Josh. She and gotten maybe 3 hours tops. She sighed and sat up, looking at the young boy next to her, and kissed his forehead gently.

She stood up, feeling absolutely exhausted. She groaned quietly and rubbed the back of her neck to relieve a kink. She closed her eyes for a few seconds before looking around and making sure that Josh was surrounded by the pillows so if he rolled he wouldn't be injured.

Miyuki was on the ground waiting for the two guys. 'Oh come on I was never on time to school and even I'm here early..' she thinks as she sits down on the ground and grabs a stick that was near her. 'Hmmm doesn't look like I can make anything out of this, oh well.' She sighs as she starts to draw in the dirt what was suppose to be the plan. Miyuki didn't have doubts about the plan, she figured it should work fine, what she did doubt was Austin and David. How were they going to stick to the plan if they argue with one another and what if they get into a heated argument. They would be spotted right away. If something went wrong, they would have to abort the plan. 'But Jen needs the pills, we all need food and warm clothes and blankets as winter was approaching and would be here fairly soon......this has to work there is no other option.' While waiting for Austin and/or David to show up, Miyuki saw Tiffany coming up to her. "Morning Tiffany, how do you feel?" She asks as she watches the pregnant woman come up to her. She also sees Jen coming up looking for Austin and/or David. "Hey Jen, are you ok?" Miyuki asks as she notices a small tear slip down Jen's cheek.

Tammy woke up her back was sore from lying on the floor but otherwise she slept surprisingly well. She was up before everyone else. She got up and went outside to scope the perimeter the river was flowing to fast for any corpsers to get through and the east side were the town was looked clear the woods were to the north.....that was an issue they would have since it was so thick you could have the corpsers sneak through. The south, which was unknown, appeared to be just a worn out road that continued with a few houses down the way. Tammy observed closely seeing a lone corpser trying to cross the river. The moment it got to the top of the bank it tumbled down it and splashed into the river now flowing down.

Tammy realized an issue, 'if that happened upstream it could taint the water source. Our most plentiful source that is. We are going to have to filter this water before drinking no way it's safe as is.' Tammy thought for a moment. She proceeded toward the rigs the other survivors had set up. If we took a rig out we could cover lots of land but in return gas will be used that isn't easy to aquire. She wandered back to the house but noticed the archer walking out as well. "Hey Longshot!" She called softly but loud enough for her to be in earshot. "Where is everyone?" Tammy called running up to her
