Harrison had a bad flight, he had woken up early on from the usual throbbing pain across his chest. It was from the knife wounds, a secret he would expose on this trip. He wasn't going to swim with a shirt any longer, he wasn't fat, he didn't have anything to hide. But besides the fact, he had popped a few Tylonals, and was good to go. Since he didn't sleep, he had worked on another secret, his application. He had made little progress, but progress was progress in his book. He looked out the window, seeing the vibrant blue ocean, man he couldn't wait to dive in.
After a smooth landing, he walked through the airport, headphones on, not wanting to be bothered. He knew his friends were coming, and he didn't want to face the choir just yet. He made his way to the crowded restrooms, and changed his clothes. He changed into a grey tshirt with a pocket, salmon colored shorts, and Sperrys. He slid on his aviators, even though he was indoors, but it was bright. He emerged, and headed to baggage claim.
After collecting his suitcase, he made his way outside, sliding his sunglasses on.
A loud ringing filled the room, causing Quinn to nearly fall out of bed as she jolted awake. "For fucks sake..." She grabbed her alarm clock and threw it across the room, watching it has it crashed against the wall before she quickly slumped back into bed with an agitated sigh. "Why is so early?.." She said to herself as she pushed herself up and out of bed. She let out an irritated groan as she left her room, slamming the door behind her. She made her way down the stairs of her quiet house, of course everyone else got to sleep in.She once more let out another agitated groan, it was obvious that it was going to be the theme of today. She made her way to the downstairs bathroom and shut the door behind her. She looked into the mirror and made a disgusted face at her reflection. "Gross.." She immediately grabbed her makeup bag and got to work, she blended some matte, brown eyeshadow to her eyelids and did the same with some dark red lipstick to her lips. As soon as she finished fixing her face she made yet another disgusted look at her reflection but this time just for fun. Well I'm as ready as I'll ever be, she made her way out of the bathroom and to the front of the house, where her bags awaited her. She grabbed the duffel bags and easily tossed them over her shoulders and out the door she went.
-----------------------------------------------
She had driven to the airport, got on a plane and slept the whole time. So the flight to the Dominican was gone in a flash. Once they were safe to get off, she quickly made her way off of the "huge metal death trap" as she liked to call it, and towards the luggage. Hopefully it got here as fast as we did... She searched throughout multiple bags until she finally found her faded army green duffel bags, she quickly grabbed them and once again tossed them over her shoulders with ease. Now what.. she looked around and saw no one she knew or exactly cared to know, so she did the one thing she knew how to do best. She found the nearest exit and went outside, placing a cigarette between her teeth, she quickly lit it up and inhaled what she thinks is pure bliss. Leaning against the wall, she pondered as she continued to inhale and exhale smoke.
Samuel is feeling ecstatic, but rather disappointed as well. He can't wait for this trip, but the fact that they'd be parting ways after it disappoints him.

Samuel Snapchats a highschool friend.
Samuel was awake all night, deciding that, instead of sleep, he would just load himself up with Monster energy drinks and an assload of snacks. See, Samuel didn't wake up like normal people did. He slept through fire alarms, so why on Earth would a quiet little alarm clock wake him up? If he wanted to get up early and catch the plane like he was supposed to, he'd just have to sacrifice his precious sleep. It wasn't that much of a problem for him. though. He usually stayed up late because of this magical thing called the Internet. That night, he had been Snapchat-ing this girl he knew from high school, both of them sending rather adorable pictures of each other. It was so cute, yet so... sickening. The only time they had even stopped throughout the night was when- Well, when Samuel's alarm clock rang, signalling the time he had been waiting for for quite a while now. He held his white iPhone in the air, snapping one more picture of himself waving goodbye before sending it with the following message, with a bit of heart-eyed emojis:
Bye, bye! Dominican, here I come!
<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_07/hiperst.jpg.ed1341b2cfd84c56f58e7efa165de3bc.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="144497" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_07/hiperst.jpg.ed1341b2cfd84c56f58e7efa165de3bc.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p> Samuel leaped off of the bed, wearing only his boxers and a pair of white socks- the most comfortable pair of pajamas, Samuel says. Even though he didn't sleep. He plugged his phone into the charger on his dresser before walking to his closet, stretching his arms a few seconds before doing so. Two medium sized suitcases were inside, full of the stuff that would aid him throughout the trip. He was smart enough to pack his bags before today, unlike what he originally planned to do. All that was left for him to do today was to grab his carrier bag for the plane, stop at 7 Eleven for some snacks and some gas for his truck and head off to the airport. Oh and, uh, of course, get dressed. After grabbing the two bags and setting them on his bed, he then headed off to his personal bathroom to get ready for the day. He used the bathroom, quickly showered, brushed his teeth, blow-dried his hair and styled it so it was his usual, boyish, curly style. Wrapping a white towel around his bony hip, he walked back into his room and threw on his clothing for the day (without the hipster glasses and beanie). He grabbed his bags after quickly grabbing his phone and other necessities and loaded them into his car.
After filling his car with gas, grabbing a biscuit from McDonald's and loading up on snacks, Samuel was finally at the airport, catching the plane not two hours after that. It was there that he finally crashed, his light snoring echoing throughout the plane. The plane ride seemed quick for him, which was good, because Samuel was rather impatient. He just couldn't wait to get there.
Once the power of her dutiful makeup produced what she needed, Lala began to admire herself in the mirror. The thought of acting in such a selfless way merely a nightmare. I mean, God forbid that one day she would think about someone other than herself and actually... care? Was that a word? Well, for her it wasn't, didn't exactly register in her dictionary quite yet. And as you can probably guess, she was going the extra mile for this trip, the idea of discovering uncovered secrets about her 'dearly-beloved' friends already making her antsy with the bitch within her. Oh, how much she was going to shit-stir, though, that wasn't anything new for the likes of her.
After two minutes of making 'last minute' checks, the girl pressed her lips together before passing her slender fingers through her dark brown locks and peering down to her suitcase. She was missing something. She could feel that undeniable tug of a loss, and man, did it not feel pleasant. In exasperation, Lala chose to leave whatever she had forgotten behind and made her way down the stairs, the thumping of her suitcase a shadow in her self-regarding path. Had she not noticed the extra pair of shoes near the door, the brunette would've overlooked the existence of her brother. The actual definition of a pain in the ass. "Aaron!? Are you dead or still asleep?" She shouted, then muttered, "I know which one I'd prefer."
Kaci's flight was a long and boring one. She slept most of it, watched a movie and entertained herself with her phone. She was most likely going to have jet-lag and that was one of the one things she hated. And let's not talk about getting off the plane, it was such a rush. All of those people trying to get off at once and waiting for the tunnel thing to connect to the door? That alone took at least fifteen minutes.
She was now walking out of the airport with her two blue suitcases dragging behind her against the tiled floors. Dominican Republic. The perfect place to go with her friends before heading off to college. Outside was bright, too bright, so Kaciann slid on her sunglasses. She didn't like the sun in her eyes plus she could hardly seen when she squinted her eyes to protect them from the sunlight so she made it her mission to bring her sunglasses with her wherever she went.
When she reached outside, her heart practically stopped at the sight of her crush, Harrison. Thank God LaLa was not here. "Hey Harrison." She said with a small wave and went to stand next to him. She didn't see the car they were supposed to using to get to beach house as yet so that left her with some time to chat.
Harrison was oblivious to the world around him, as Hootie and the Blowfish blared in his ears. He had risen to popularity in high school, but never listened to popular music. Good rock, and alternative were his go to. His eyes scanned for the car, gosh Tia was rich, you'd think her car would be on time. As his eyes were scanning, he spotted Kaciann. He removed his earbuds, "Oh hey Kaci! You excited to get drunk, swim in the ocean, and party like there's no tomororw?!" That's what his plans were, for sure. "Oh I heard to got in Standford, congratulations. Well I guess that means you won't have any fun, since Standford people are serious." He changed his fun expression, to one that mocked Kaciann a tad.
Tia was just sitting on the couch, waiting for what seemed like forever for everyone to get there. She kept looking out the window, and she didn't see anything. So she decided to call the car company, see what was taking them so long, the lady on the phone told her that the car was apparently reserved for tomorrow and that all of their drivers were out. Oh she was pissed, but she couldn't just leave them at the airport so she grabbed the keys to the suburban. Her brother didn't seem to be awake yet, so she just left a post it note on the fridge to let him now that she had went to go get the others at the airport. She walked outside and over to the garage, she opened the side door, the garage was large, it could fit 3 cars inside, but with her family not being there, the only vehicle in there was the suburban. She opened the back hatch and made sure that nothing was in there, just so all of their things would fit. She wasn't really sure if they were all there or if only some were there. She was definitely going to have to make another trip. She got into the drivers side and opened the large garage door then turned the truck on. She was a little nervous to drive it, she was used to her car not this huge SUV. The drive to the airport was about 20 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic. She finally pulled into the driveway, she looked for one of her friends, she spotted Quinn and a few feet away was Kaci and Harrison. She parked and honked the horn before getting out and walking around to open the back hatch.
Quinn was looking towards the ground and quickly shot her head up when heard her friend honk, she had been standing a few feet from her friends not really feeling like socializing at the moment so she had mixed emotions about getting picked up already, but she wasn't going to show it. She put out her cigarette, and stuck it back in its pack considering she only had half a pack left because she had been standing there chain smoking. She slid the pack into her pocket and picked her bags, making her way towards Tia. "Took ya long enough." She gave her a wink as she set her bags in the back of her SUV. "I call shotgun!" She smirked as she ran to the passenger side of the SUV and climbed into the front seat.
Samuel was so relieved to be off of the plane. Sitting for so long made his muscles ache and his back stiff, so it was a great relief when he was able to stand up and stretch. He had brought his phone on the plane, planning to listen to some music, but he didn't touch it a single time on the trip. He slept most of the way- so he wasn't surprised to see his phone battery still mostly full. As he walked out of the small little plane, he sent a message to everyone he knew was going on the trip, letting them know he was at the airport. He'd have to stop at baggage claim before he could really meet up with anyone.
It went quicker than expected and on his way to the front of the airport, he noticed some of the others standing out front. Samuel set one of his suitcases down on the ground, waving at the group of others to get their attention. He didn't care about how loud his voice was as he yelled over crowds of people. He didn't yell anything in particular, just a louder-than-it-should-be whoop of excitement. He figured the others would know it was him just by that- it was like, his mating call or something. His signature. He completely ignored the airport's bewildered stares as he ran to his high school friends, dragging along two suitcases behind him. The second he got close enough, Samuel dropped his bags and gave the two who were close enough- Kaci and Harrison- a huge hug, kissing both of them on the cheek. It wasn't a romantic gesture, just his weird way of saying hello. Letting go, he waved a bit at Quinn before his attention was turned to the honking Suburban, walking back to grab his bags only a few feet away. "I thought we were going to get super cool private cars or something- with like, a personal driver..."
He began dragging his bags to the back of the Suburban, a fake pout on his face as Quinn called shotgun. "So mean. After all I'd do for you." He pushed his bags back, making room for the other's stuff as he pulled his phone back out. He hopped in the very back of the Suburban, scooting over to a window seat. Sticking his tongue out, he took another picture for his Snapchat friend, letting her know that he was at the Dominican Republic- and damn, was it beautiful.
Kaci laughed and nodded. She did actually plan to do all those things with her friends before heading off to college. "And thanks. They'll be uptight but I won't. I'll fit in some fun." She paused for a second, "Heard you got into TCU. Congrats." She said with a smile. Kaci spotted Quinn a few feet away and gave a small wave. Before she could turn back around, someone was hugging her and gave her kiss on the cheek and it could only be one person, Samuel and before she could greet him, a car horn cut her off and she looked up to see Tia.
Kaci rolled her suitcases to the SUV and put them in the trunk. When she got in she said, "That sun was really hot, I'm not ready for a tan yet." She felt playful and it was probably because of the excitement from being in such a beautiful place. She had never been to the Dominican Rebublic before and so far it was going great.
Usually, Aaron was up well before his sister, so it was a surprise to him when he was woken up by her obnoxious screaming. He felt groggy, like he hasn't slept in a while, but maybe that's because he was up late last night. "I'm up, I'm up!" He called back, stretching his aching muscles and yawning. He shook his face slightly, trying to shake himself into staying awake, and climbed out of his bed. Aaron took a glance at his phone, but immediately regretted it when it stung his eyes. Chuckling to himself, he stumbled his way into his bathroom. His morning routine was the same every morning: check his phone, take a shower, fix his hair, put on clothes, and then continue with his day. However, Aaron woke up a little later today, so everything was kind of rushed.
Nonetheless, he got everything done, and they still had time to drive to the airport and catch their plane. Aaron quickly ran to the kitchen to grab a banana off the counter, before rushing to the front door to greet his sister. "Nice to see you waited for me, I wouldn't have done the same." He joked as he slipped on his shoes next to the door. Grabbing both of his suitcases, because yes he needed two, Aaron opened the door and stepped outside, making sure to hold it open for Lala. "Now let's get going before we're late."
Julian's mind refused to sleep. While his eyes were closed, his mind raced, never focusing on one thing at a time, and he tossed and turned often. After about five hours of sleepless tossing and turning, he pulled out his phone, the screen drowning out the darkness of nighttime, and wasted his time, mainly looking through old texts with friends, and occasionally scrolling through his photo gallery. Julian scrolled through his phone for a bit, and slowly began to nod off, falling asleep just as heard his brother move through the house.
Julian woke up to the sound of his phone alarm, and quickly turned it off before standing and yawning. He rubbed his eyes, and stood for a moment, before beginning to move quickly, slightly panicked. Hurriedly, he pulled on a shirt and some jeans, and quickly tied his black sneakers before grabbing his grey suitcase. He wheeled it behind him as he walked to the kitchen, grabbing his keys and his carry-on bag, which held his laptop and camera, two things he refused to leave behind during his vacation.
He quickly moved out of the house, making sure the door was locked twice, and hurriedly put his bags in the back of his black four-door. As he sat behind the wheel, he mutters under his breath. "I probably should've just taken the same flight as Sam." He shrugs, and backs out of the driveway.
"Hey it's not my fault the driver my parents hired didn't work out, but I'm here now" she said to Samuel, Kaci, Harrison and Quinn, she got back into the driver side, she decided to bring the ones that were here to the house, then just come back and get the others, instead of waiting here. She was really excited to see everyone, it hadn't been that long hence seeing each other but it felt like forever. The one person she was really anticipating seeing was Aaron, and of course one of her closest friends Lala. Tia hated keeping secrets, she was never good at keeping them, so she knew that this whole secretly dating Aaron wouldn't be a secret for too much longer. But she kept her mouth shut, she also didn't know if her brother was up yet, hopefully he was up and ready, but who knows. "We are still waiting on Aaron, Julian and Lala. I think" she said turning to look at everyone
Hearing the undeniable noise of two feet stumbling out from their resting station, Lala rolled her eyes while letting out a frustrated sigh as she heard her brother's voice echo throughout the house. Now normally, she would've suspected a bit more punctuality from Aaron - especially as they were about to experience a long-ass journey beforehand, though, she was one to talk. There were plenty of times, she, herself had gotten ready at last minute, but that was mostly because she spent way too long on perfecting her smoky eyeshadow from which had to be completed.
After waiting for an estimated 10 minutes, the girl already had her suitcases inside the boot, however, decided to stay inside the house so she could make sure that Aaron would proceed with his current speed. She felt relieved once she was 'graced' with his annoying presence and only cameback with what she thought was somewhat better, "Don't worry, if I had my driver's licence I'd be halfway to the airport and leaving your sorry ass behind." Lala produced an innocent smile before walking outside and jump into the passengers side of the car. She was lazy, yep, no one had to even rethink that, she was too lazy to organise her own transportation. All she hoped was that she would constantly have someone to rely on for that stuff.
~ ~ ~
Half asleep as she collected her luggage, Lala searched the numerous groups till she began to recognise a familiar face. As a result, she made a start toward the girl - her handbag hanging over her flexed arm - she chose to just leave Aaron, he'd find his way. Coming to a halt in front of her best friend, Lala, without hesitation, gave Tia a genuine hug. One of only a few people who got to receive her hugs. "Tia! Oh my God, I have missed you so much!"
"Thanks, well I tried, not Standford or anything." He smiled, hearing the car honk. Thank fucking God. He made his over to the car with Kaciann, and saw the driver was Tia. "Hey Tia what's up! Guess you were driving like a fucking grandmother on the way here." He tossed his suitcase and backpack in the back, and slid behind the passenger seat. "Do you have a boat Tia? Im so ready to get in the ocean. I've been in Fort Worth for the past weeks getting my shit together for school."
Aaron chuckled at his sister's response, before hopping in the drivers seat. The drive there actually wasn't that long, but it was mostly silent on Aaron's part. Not to mention, he was mainly thinking about the trip, and what secrets would have to be revealed while there. They arrived at the airport, and went through the necessary procedures to get on their flight. Aaron was lucky enough to fall asleep early, and sleep through the whole ride. Once he woke up, everyone was ushered off the plane and was heading towards baggage claim. Somehow, his sister was able to find her bags quickly, but Aaron was having no such luck. After multiple minutes of searching, two red suitcases that Aaron recognized as his own were getting closer and closer to him, and he swiftly snatched them off the conveyor belt. He let out an accomplished smirk before turning to Lala, only to find that she was gone. "Great, so much for sticking together." He muttered to himself. Instead of just taking a second to look around, Aaron went wondering about for a bit, hoping to find his sister and the rest of his friends.
Of course, he didn't, and just ended up back where he started. With a frustrated sigh, Aaron pulled out his phone, and was tempted to call Tia to see where she was, but instead put it away. He took a deep breath and just took a second to look around. Everywhere around them, people were flying in to be reunited with loved ones, or they were dressed for a business meeting, or some people were just alone. Hopefully next time Aaron flies somewhere, he isn't completely alone, even if it means he has to deal with his annoying sister. A familiar face came into view, and Aaron was instantly relieved. It was Tia, thankfully, along with his sister, who ditched him. He gathered his luggage together and made his way over to the two. "Finally, I've been looking for you guys." He sent a look towards his sister. "Especially you, thanks for just leaving me back there." But Aaron diverted his eyes back to Tia. "Uhh, hey." He said, leaning in for a hug.
Tia was surprised when Lala came up behind her, "I missed you too" she said energetically hugging her back. She was beyond excited for what this summer would bring, she looked back from where Lala came from to look for Aaron. When she spotted him, oh she got really excited, but she kept a calm expression. When he approached she hugged him, acting as casually about it as she could although she was finding that more and more difficult. "Hey" she quickly turned from him "So we are waiting on Julian but I will text him know we left but once he lands I'll come pick him up" she said sort of awkwardly to the drivers side of the suburban and got in. She waited till everyone was in before driving off. The drive back the house wasn't as long as the drive to the airport was. They pulled into the driveway, she parked in front of the door "here we are"
The car ride had been quieter than he expected, but his expectations were low. Everyone was catching up, like nothing ever happened. He stared out the window, watching the palm trees fly by. He had been to Key West as a kid, but nothing could compare to this place. It was beautiful. As he saw they house in view, he was surprised. Damn. How rich were this chicks parents? Once the car came to a stop, he stepped out, and opened the back door for everyone. "I'd say welcome
to paradise, but this isn't my
place." He pulled his bags out, and began to pull the girls bags out as well being polite.
Samuel is feeling lowkey worried, but overall, very excited.

Samuel made it his job to make sure the ride to the vacation home wasn't quiet, going on and on (and on) about how much he just missed everyone and how happy he was to see some of them got accepted into their college of choice and how he was going to attend KSU in Georgia and a bunch of other random things that he was sure nobody was even listening to. He finally stopped talking when the vehicle pulled into the home, and that was because his mouth literally fell open at the sight of it. It was beautiful! "Damn. I thought you only saw this kind of place in pictures."
Samuel crawled out of the car, taking off his sunglasses to get a better look. He then walked over to the back, giggling when Harrison mistook his bag for one of the girl's, getting it out for him. He grabbed it from Harrison's hands, playfully swooning and putting a hand on the other male's shoulder. "Or, Harrison. You shouldn't have."
Quinn had been extremely quiet the whole ride to the house, either from lack of sleep or from the nervousness she feels. She didn't understand why she's so nervous, being kind of a bad girl, things don't usually make her feel this off put. Maybe it's because of Harrison, thinking back to the night where it happened, she quickly waved the thought away and replaced it with the next, maybe it's because of Lala.. She again quickly waved away the thought. When they arrived to the house she quickly snapped out of all thoughts and stepped out of the car. She looked around in awe, "woah..." She whispered to herself, "this is beautiful.." Continually examining her surroundings, she made her way to the back of the car where Harrison was getting out bags. He handed Quinn her bags and she quickly took them out of his hands, and flashed him a smile. "Thanks, man." Yeah.. Harrison definitely wasn't why she was so nervous.
Steven was still asleep when his sister, Tia, was cleaning the house. Next to him was a native Dominican, someone Steven had quite some fun last night. Just as Tia left for the airport, Steven made his one night stand awake "Hurry" he kissed the man on his lips, he looked a little like Julian, "You must go now" the native nodded and prepared himself to leave the house.
Steven took his jockstrap and put it on, his sister wouldn't return for another few hours. Steven walked downstairs and heard the door shutting, his one night stand was away. Steven made some toast and cereals for breakfast. Steven thought about the group, his friends, there were a few things going on, but Steven didn't wanted to know it. The Male sat in front of the big flatscreen watching the american news, he grinned, at some places rained it. He switched trough the channels, due his multilingual being, he could understand the most of the foreign channels. He laughed even more, in the whole Netherlands was it raining, heavily.
Today was a good day to go to the beach with everyone. Steven walked to his room where they stocked their surfboards. Steven was not really good in surfing but he liked it. It was a long time ago he has been here. The muscular male made sure every board was alright if someone wanted to surf, he didn't care that he was still in his jocktrap, but he would change when the people came back from the airport

Julian sat at the airport, looking around ever so often, occasionally scrolling through his phone. "Man... I should've gotten the early flight. Everyone's probably already there." He reached into his bag, and pulled out his camera, peering through the viewfinder, and took a picture of the planes on the runways. After looking at the result, he shrugs, content, and sits back down, before groaning. "God, I'm bored. I wonder if anyone else is taking a late flight." His phone buzzed, and he excitedly grabbed it, yearning for a distraction from the boredom he was held in. "Oh. A text from Tia. Damn, I'm holding them up a lot." Julian sighed, texting back. "Cool, be there ASAP." He clicked off his phone screen, and started to put his camera back in his bag, wanting to explore the airport.
He walked around a bit, buying some food for the flight and a cup of coffee, and sat, watching people move through the airport, returning and departing. He sat like this for another hour, when his flight was called. He grinned, and hustled to get to the plane, his black carry-on slung across his shoulder. As he started to run towards the gate, he felt a bit of anxiety and excitement rise inside of him, and quickly moved to get a seat. As the plane took off, he snapped a few decent-ish pictures with his camera. He made a mental note to take better ones during his trip. As the plane climbed, he felt drowsiness seep in, and quickly fell asleep.
Samuel is still feeling kind of tired, but the beach is more important that sleep!

Samuel grabbed the two of his bags, a huge grin on his face as he took a deep inhale, breathing in the scent of the salted, ocean scented hair. The breeze was so pleasant, running through his hair and providing such a wonderful feeling. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself knowing it was more than likely raining back home- he had gotten a little bit of rain just driving to the airport. "Ah, I forgot to say-" he looked at Tia with a smile, setting a bag down just long enough to wave at her, "It's good to see you! I've missed having my friends around."
Samuel made sure he was the first one inside, so he could claim a bedroom that was better than the rest. Well, Steven and Tia had already probably done that, but he wasn't going to end up with some bad one. He swung the door to the large house open, not even holding it open for the ladies (and Harrison) like a normal, gentlemanly person would. He hurried through the house, dragging the two suitcases up the stairs (which proved harder than you'd think). He managed to get there, though, tossing his stuff into the first room he saw that had a balcony with a nice view that hadn't already been occupied. "Dibs! It's all mine."
He went back down the stairs after that, leaping over the back of the couch before sitting down as he pulled his phone out for the umpteenth time, texting Julian.
