Realistic or Modern Your Average Everyday Lives (Anime)

Suzuki, Hotaru

Hotaru raised a questioning eyebrow at the seemingly flustered student. She had no idea what the student was saying as she still had earbuds in. Looking him up and down for a moment she realized that he was interfering with her work. "Take your flirting somewhere else. Unlike some people, there are actually students who are working" Hotaru muttered as she returned to her studying and homework. Her desk was a mess, as was her spiky brown hair. She looked up at the group of students who were slowly growing around her and a rather dark glare occupied her face. "Everyone's so damn loud" Hotaru hissed as she stood up suddenly. The vulgar words she used were usually very surprising as girls never seemed to speak that way. Closing her textbooks and notebook she took out her earbuds and threw them into her bag with a very pissed off expression. It was a miracle that she had actually stayed calm for such a long time.

Uchida Momoi

The person entering the Café approached Uchida with a bow, catching him off guard; the poor male didn't know how to react and when he went to bow back, the other guy was already gone...

Uchida then looked up at the nice lady who asked to take his order; at first he didn't really take her into consideration so he glance away and back to the menu for a second but then quickly dropped the menu and shot her an apologetic glance.

"Uwaah!" Within the blink of an eye he was standing up, bowing towards the girl repetitively. He then quickly sat back down and hurried to choose something so as not to cause trouble for others.

"U-umm...the...m-mixed stone fruit pie? Please..." He avoided eye contact with the girl and kept his face buried in the menu with a nervous sigh.

Suzuki, Hotaru

"Don't act like you've commited a crime you idiot! It just makes you seem even more guilty!" Hotaru snapped as she approched the flusted red head. Her brown eyes were narrowed as she moved closer to him without even glancing at his previously raised fist. She glared at the apologetic hand was waved towards her. "Listen idiot, an apology isn't going to fix this situation. Just suck it up and clear all misunderstanding before I lose my temper" She snapped and turned on her heels in order to sit back down at her desk. The classroom had turned deathly silent and the scribbling of lead could be heard as Hotaru returned to her studying, thankful for the quiet atmosphere. Blowing at her bangs slightly she opened her English book and began to work in it, quietly translating the words and sentences. To most people the classroom would feel awkward and heavy, but to Hotaru it was totally comfortable.

@Suzumaki Arakai @First Years

Because of the misunderstanding, Makoto felt bad for Kagami, but couldn't help it and smiled. It was a rather funny event.

"Hey, no fighting. You don't have any reasons to do that. We both said that it was just a misunderstanding, right?" Makoto looked at both of them, and tried to calm everyone down.

Sato, Kairi

Kairi looked around the café and watched as people rushed around with orders and other things. Yawning slightly, the tired artist pulled out her things as she was escorted to a vacant table. Keeping her attention on the notebook she began scribbling lyrics and notes in it, not paying attention to what was going on around her. Nobody seemed to want and take her order as she sat secluded by a window. Not that this bothered her in anyway. Naturally Kairi was quite unfeeling and didn't take things that personally. Being only a famous singer and musician when she put on fancy clothes and makeup made her realize that she still had a lot to do. She never stopped working on songs or composing random pieces of music. Music was her life and it was the only thing she found pleasure in. Of course her cat Cocoa was someone that brought joy into her life as well. Running a hand back through her lovely hair, the young woman bit her lower lip in concentration. Her mind was going wild as she pieced her song together, one note and lyric at a time.

Kagami Taiga

Kagami was calmed down but suddenly his temper shot up once the girl glared at him and started going off; she even removed herself from her own seat.

The boy didn't blame her though...he did react a little exaggerated. He was about to take his seat and remain quiet after Makoto began to talk but suddenly the other girl called him an...an idiot? It was then that a large, splitting vein could be seen appear on his forehead as he stopped in his tracks. Some people might even hallucinate fire...fire, behind the boy as he shot a horrific expression at the girl, "Naniii?~~" He then approached the girls desk and slammed his fist down on it, "Oi, oi. I was clearing up the misunderstanding." He leaned in a little closer, "You're not the only one about to lose their temper." Technically the two have already lost their temper...Kagami had always noticed this chick sitting silently and attending to her work like some other students.

Never did he think this would be their first conversation...

WULF

This was the worst. Wulf could feel his heart breaking as sympathy began to well up in his chest. He took a deep breath and reached in his pocket to pull out a handkerchief. He held it out for the girls and spoke loudly to avoid being drowned out by their wails. "Well, we're not quite sure what happened exactly. That's why I'm here. I was hoping you could tell me a little bit about your friends." He had less than zero desire to go into detail about how exactly the girls were murdered, but he knew the rape aspect was important. Most rape victims knew their rapist, after all. He grit his teeth and looked away for a moment before he gave out the rest of the details. "It would appear that the girls were also raped before they were murdered. I need your help to find the person or people responsible for this. I understand that this is quite a bit to take in, and I will speak to the headmaster about giving you two some time off to mourn, but you cooperation is pivotal...to solving this case." He took out a notepad and clicked a pen and stood up straight. "Whenever you two are ready, I'd like to ask you a few questions."

@Suzumaki Arakai

Suzuki, Hotaru

Hotaru's pencil made a slight movement away from the letter she was writing when someone slammed their hands on her desk. Her face was instantly hidden by her hair as she stared at her 'ruined' word. Slowly she looked up at the male with a severe glare and slowly stood up.
"Listen, you've messed up my work. My schooling is much more important to me than it is to you. So just shut the hell up and let me do my work. I only pointed out the obvious which everyone else was too scared to point out." Hotaru then placed a hand on the male's shoulder and pushed him back slightly so that his hands would move from her desk. "You said you were clearing up the misunderstanding right? Then why did everyone stare at you as if you were denying it? Huh? Even the victim doesn't look convinced!" She threw a finger over at the student that was now labeled the victim. "If you weren't flirting then you weren't flirting, but blowing up because I suggested that you were flirting made you look very guilty. So get your damn head on straight and clear up the misunderstand without losing your temper!" Hotaru ended her rant by sitting back down and erasing the ruined word, rewriting it without any mistakes. She muttered something like 'it's all smudged now' as she carefully made her work look pretty again. Being a very hotheaded perfectionist made life harder for Hotaru than most would think. The slightest thing would set her off and she would get into fights with guys if she had to. To most girls she was more like a guy if anything. Rarely did she wear dresses or skirts outside of school. She was much more comfortable in jeans and a plain shirt.

@Suzumaki Arakai @MonoToc @First years

Yumi Narusaki

The girl's eyes flickered as the two girls left the room, her frown only deepening. Yumi knew them only from their giggles and quiet conversions at the back of the classroom, but also from the not-so-quiet comments they'd make about her as she'd pass. It was a little petty at times, but easy to ignore. However, she couldn't help but feel a little bad for the two. Worry was evident in her eyes, and the brunette turned to Ryuzaki to question if he knew what was going on, but the look changed into intrigue as it appeared the floor was sucking him in. "What's wrong with you?" Yumi whispered with a raised brow.

Tomio Takahashi

Tomio watched over the shop with gentle, yet careful eyes, a natural smile adorning his features. He watched over Iona momentarily as she dashed off to deal with the new customer before heading to the register, leaning on his elbow as he observed the room. Occasionally he'd give a charming grin or give a kiss to the hand as people would pay for their orders or ask where the bathroom was before returning to his original position. The only time he shifted was when the late employee ran in, got ready, and was now sitting by a nearby table. Amused, Tomio shook his head from side to side before making his way to the man. "What am I going to do with you, hmmm?" Of course, the blonde was just joking as he tutted to Mikan, and the other most likely knew this.

@mikko

Makoto sighed while wathing the two fighting. "Maybe you should just let her alone for a moment, if that's what she wants. Everything is fine now, so we have no reason to continue." Makoto said with a slightly raised tone, and gently pulled Kagami's shirt to make his stop. It was just the beginning of the year, and they were all already fighting. Makoto was involved too, so the teenager had to do something.

Tyler continued walking down the street looking for a good place to eat. He didn't know what he wanted or what he was in the mood for. He peaked in windows and people kept staring at him. Some fans asked for his autograph, the few that did recognize him. He snapped some selfies with them and signed whatever they handed him and kept walking. Little before he knew it he was lost again. "Damnit" he said getting frustrated. He leaned on the wall and pulled his phone out to see if there were any good restaurants near by

Guriyama & Tomoyama

Tomoyama continued to cry as Guriyama then started wiping her tears to cooperate with the officer. She sat up straight and bit her lip as tears continued to drip down her face. The revealing of the fact that the girls were raped sent Guriyama into an even worse state then she was already in, "Oh god..." the girls face was buried in her own arms.

Tomoyama shook her head at the officer and wiped her face again,
"I'll answer officer." The poor girls voice was shaky and it sounded as though she'd burst into another fit of tears at any second.

@SirBlazeALot

Kagami Taiga

Kagami's eyes opened a little in surprise again...this guy's so easy to read. He stared down at the girls notes once she started talking about how he 'ruined' them. Blinking a couple times; he pointed towards them but was soon pushed away as he then continued to listen to her go off..."But...she went off first.." The look on his face was one of confusion as Makoto pulled on him a little but quickly turned into one of anger; the large vein popping up once again as her jutted his finger towards her, "You started-" he then remembered her notes. Turning chibi he knelt down beside her desk and began examining them. With a small point towards the paper, he looked at the girl in praise.

"You've got nice notes man."

Of course, Ryuzaki wasn't really referring to the girl as a 'man'...it's just something all guys say when they acknowledge someone I guess.

@MonoToc @kawiibunnygirl @FirstYears

Tanaka Ryuzaki

Ryuzaki's hand was slightly hovering over his face as he stared out the window; remaining hidden from the officer. After a second, a familiar voice from beside him sent him a slight shiver as he then turned around; realizing that it was just Yumi.

"Huh? Oh...tired I guess." He faked a stretch and forced a yawn as he looked at her through the corner of his eye for a second, hoping she wouldn't notice his suspicious reaction. "Shit."

He then leaned back on the desk, resting his head in his hand as both eyebrows shot up for a second then returned to his naturally nonchalant expression. "So..." he clicked his tongue, "Homework." His eyes shot side to side as he tried to strike up random conversation; changing the subject.

@Leaf Fi @ThirdYears

Fumiko Haruto

Fumiko sighed and stood up, shaking his head at the both of them. "You, ma'am need to stop being so uptight and rude. Literally just put your headphones back in if someone is quote on quote 'disturbing your school work.' No need to get so feisty. You, don't fight with her. She's obviously the instigator of this situation." The red head situated, raising his eyebrows with a frustrated look on his face. "It was funny at first, but now, you really need to pipe down," he stated, shaking his head and sitting down again. He hated arguments, he could be really hot headed himself, but he hated to see people fight for stupid reasons.

Daisuke Haruto

"Here you go," Daisuke nodded, giving the woman the amount of money he owed, and then taking the bag of books. He then began to walk down the street, humming softly to himself once more. He was almost home, thank the lord for that. He hated being out for too long, it was a bit irritating. He especially hated being at work, as it was boring and very frustrating.

mikan was politely checking out the customer with the nice hair and pretty face, as it was rare to see someone who looked like a model and a work of art. perhaps not as a rare as it should be, considering this town had a strangely high population of celebrities and beautiful people, but a slight oddity none the less. he was ripped from his admiration by his boss, who stopped to talk to him, and he nearly fell from his chair in his surprise. "what'll you do with me?well, gee, boss, i dunno. a raise would be real nice, though," he grinned playfully, batting his eyelashes for appeal. he was a decent worker, and enjoyed what he did, though schedules were not his forte. he tried, really, and he was glad he had such an understanding boss. it made his life a lot more fun to do what he loved. "i'd say more, but we got a pretty mistress sitting with no slaves. you wanna serve, or should i?" he gestured over to the woman sitting, as no one seemed to have served her yet.

Suzumaki Arakai

Suzumaki finished ringing the man up and waved him off with a smile, "Shishishi. He looked like a model." Her thoughts rang out loud but she didn't mind. Looking down at her watch; she noticed the time and realized she'd be heading to Rame Ramen soon. It's her second job, she needs it in order to keep paying rent for her apartment. Yes, sometimes her father leaves her money after visiting but...she doesn't like bumming very much.

The shirt girl then watched as the other customer continued looking through the hentai section.

Suzuki, Hotaru

Hotaru stopped writing and looked at the red head who was crouched by her desk. She looked at him then heard someone call her 'ma'am'. Her shoulders tensed slightly as she turned to look back at him. "
Can you quiet down please? Red head said something" Hotaru said blankly and looked at the other male beside her. She nodded her head slowly and returned to her notes, but closed on English notes and put them in her bag. For some reason she felt that her notes weren't safe so she put all the important ones away and started on other ones. Hotaru knew that people were staring at them with curiosity as they had just been arguing, but settled down wit hint minutes. Blowing up at her bangs, Hotaru reached into her bag to grab a snack to munch on as she worked.

@Suzumaki Arakai @Zero Gravity

Sato, Kairi

Kairi didn't notice the people that made their way throughout the café as she was much more engrossed in her lyrics. With a sigh she gave up for a moment in order to pull her long hair up into a high ponytail. Placing the black glasses back on she examined the papers that were spread out before her. Kairi looked out the window for a moment before taking out her phone and looking through her texts. Her manager and stylist were trying to get ahold of her for lunch, but the stubborn singer didn't want to. Closing her eyes she rubbed her temples to chase away the migraine that was bothering her. Kairi decided to look around the café once she had massaged her temples long enough. Turning her head to the right she saw a small pair of children playing which caught her attention. "
Could those work? Hmmm...." Kairi shook her head and returned to writing.

Toma Hiro

Hiro didn't see anything good in the Hentai section and moved on to the Ecchi section. There she found the latest volume of Nozoki Ana and grabbed it smiling. She looked at the time and sighed. 'I guess I'll read it during work.' She thought and walked up to the cash register. "I would like to buy this please." She said setting the manga on the counter. @Suzumaki Arakai

Mitsurgi Kenichi

Kenichi felt a bit offened when she made a face and pointed at his sword. He didn't show it though. 'Everyone has there opinions.' He thought to himself and his concerned expression turned into a giant grin when he realized a new solider wants to sign up to the army of strength. "Come in I'll give you a fourm from my office." He said in his loud voice and held the sliding door open to let the serious stiff looking lady in. @Suzumaki Arakai

Yumi Narusaki

Yumi just examined the taller teen in slight confusion for a moment longer before shaking her head, looking away. Ryuzaki wasn't one for lengthy conversations, so she decided not to press any further on the matter. Her fingers idly drummed against her table as she glanced out the window, only to be forced back into reality by the boy's voice. "What about it?" The brunette focused her gaze on him once more. "If it's about the Maths, I'll have you know I've done it..." Ryuzaki was the only one who really knew her struggles with the subject, and nine times out of ten she'd have to ask for his advice, much to her embarrassment. So actually being able to finish the work alone was pretty rare.

Tomio Takahashi

Tomio gave Mikan an eye roll as he casually planted himself in front of the table the other was resting at. An elbow planted itself on the surface, and he rested his chin against the palm of the hand. "You're hilarious, Mikan." A chuckle fell from his lips. Tomio's blue eyes followed the finger that the man was pointing with, and observed the woman sitting by herself for a minute, thinking of an approach. "Well," he began, straightening, "How about we serve her together. She looks like she needs cheering up. Wouldn't you agree?" The blonde's eyes gained a mischievous edge to them as he looked back to Mikan. It wasn't unusual for the two to serve together; but... Let's just say it spiced things up a lot...

Suzumaki Arakai

Suzumaki smiled at the girl, "Shishi, find what you're looking for?" taking the manga and ringing it up quickly. She placed it in a case then wrapped it in a bag before holding out her hand; "1225 yen it is!"

The girl's grin was ear to ear for some reason...how can someone be so happy working in a manga shop? Although, that's not why she's happy. The real reason for her sudden cheeriness would be Rame Ramen Shop; for this girl is obsessed with ramen...and sake but she's not yet of age to drink at a bar so she normally has a friend get it for her.

@Aero

Kagami Taiga

Kagami noticed the girl beginning to feel uncomfortable as she put her notes away; he stood up, rubbing the back of his neck, and returned to his seat before wrapping his stuff up as well. After this, they'd all have clean-up duty then he can finally turn in his basketball form.

He began to fidget impatiently, for lunch was almost over.

"Come on, come on. Just one more homeroom meeting then we're done here!" He could be seen pumping his fists in a way.

Tanaka Ryuzaki

Ryuzaki nodded his head when the girl stated that she's already done the homework, "Ah, I see." He was going to take it as an opportunity to help her with the rough problems that she normally needed help with. Raising his brow as he looked down at the girls bag; he then returned his gaze to hers, "Let me see." The boy didn't hold out his hand or anything, he just waited for her to show him the work.

((The school day was a little jumbled today but that's okay xD we'll just say that the four classes are over and lunch is about to end....))

Tatsuri Anna

Anna blinked a little when the man spoke in a loud tone; for a second there she thought he was yelling towards her out of anger but that wasn't the case. "Oh...alright." She spoke awkwardly as she then entered the dojo and slipped off her shoes. Following the tall man to his...office.

The blunt looking girl studied the area in awe but didn't make any changes in her facial expression; just continued to look pissed as her arms remained crossed.

mikan grinned, winking. "i try, really," he joked, pleased with his slight redemption. god bless this angelic man, truly. he couldn't count the amount of times he had been fired for his behavior, truly. a boyish smile that read nothing but trouble spread across his face at his boss' suggestion, eyes sparkling with an optimism that shouldn't be possible. "she sure looks like she needs a show, right? no one should look so serious in a place like this, right?" he stood up, wiping nonexistent specs of dust from his uniform, rocking on the balls on his in anticipation. nothing was better than a performance with the boss, really. the shop practically lit up when it happened.

WULF

Wulf sighed, knowing that his questions would bring up old memories, which would induce more crying. He really just wanted to give the girls a hug and cry with them, but such actions would be counter-productive. Their pain motivated him to find the killer even more. He gripped the pencil tightly, thinking about the monster that committed this heinous act. He took a little breath. "Now I understand that friends sometimes keep secrets for each other, and loyalty is always praiseworthy... however, I need as much information as you two can give me, so please, leave nothing unsaid. What do you two know about...the girls' family relationships? Were they fond of their parents?"

Suzuki, Hotaru

Hotaru put down her pencil once the student moved away from her desk and she was able to concentrate normally. Her fingers drummed lightly on her thigh as she waited for class to be over so she could go to club. She was one of the only first years in the band club so she naturally stood out. With a sigh she looked out the window in boredom. Hotaru had finished her homework, studied, and everything else that normal people would do outside of school. Resting her chin on her hand she watched the clouds float across the blue sky.

@first years

Sato, Kairi

Kairi felt like people were staring at her way too closely which instantly made her look behind her. She looked at the people in the café who certainly had no idea who she was. Shrugging slightly, she went back to her task. Since her debut, Kairi was always an odd duck. With her unique appearance and strange personality, she stood out from the rest. Her music and voice were also very different than one would think. Usually people thought she would have a high and gentle voice, however she surprised everyone with her style. Always keeping people wanting more and at the edges of their seats, that's the life she lived. Twisting a strand of hair around her finger she thought of another lyric and wrote it down. If some was to look at her papers they would be instantly confused as they were messy and unkept. Words were randomly put here and there, as were the notes. However if you looked underneath all the mess and in her notebooks you would find them perfectly placed. Her entire notebook was a masterpiece. Not one mistake in it.

@Leaf Fi @mikko

Yumi Narusaki

Yumi's face immediately turned red as he stared at her expectingly. It wasn't like she was lying or anything- Yumi strived on her honesty, and she really did finish it- but it was the mere thought that everything was wrong that sorta scared her. "R-right..." She leaned over to her bag, pulling out the worksheet given to them before handing it over to Ryuzaki.

Tomio Takahashi

"I'm glad you agree." Either way, Tomio was gonna drag Mikan into a performance anyways, so it was better for the other to accept his faith. Thank goodness the both of them were complete dorks, or else the best part of the café wouldn't have been there. With the most charming smile he could muster, the blonde made his way to the lone female, immediately dropping to one knee as reached her side. Carefully, like she was made from the finest china, he took one of her hands, his free one resting against his chest. "Bonjour, madame...~" he purred with a wink, glancing back at Mikan. "We couldn't help but see that you looked... A little lonely... So we thought you could..." The blonde stood up slowly, grin growing ever wider as he bowed. "Be... Our... Guest!~"

Yes. They were going to sing a Disney song. I told you those two were complete dorks, and boy did people love them for it.

Uchida Momoi

Uchida just continued to awkwardly wait for the girl to bring him his food as he studied the area, it was a very nice Café in his eyes. The decorations and thing that sparked his conscience caused a small smile to form on his lips.

He leaned forward on the table, resting his head between his hands with a gentle sigh of comfort. "I should come here often." His attention was then shot towards a clock on the wall, "I've time."

The gentle man was slightly startled once two people began singing an American Disney song but soon he began smiling as he watched the small performance.

Guriyama & Tomoyama

Guriyama was still hiding her face as she thought about how her friends wouldn't be around anymore and that they faced such a horrible death as Tomoyama sucked it up and faced the facts.

The girl looked down at the ground and clutched her skirt, "I don't know...they were very close with their parents." A look of shock appeared on her face as she looked up and gasped, "You don't think her parents did this do you!?" She almost looked angry as she leaned forward a bit, "Mr. and Mrs. Seichi would never do something like that! They loved Nozomi and Rin!" The tone in her voice was beginning to change until the crying Guriyama leaned forward and grabbed her shoulder, "He didn't accuse them Toyoi. Calm down." After a second of some more sobs, both girls were now calmed down but still a bit shaken up.

Guriyama agreed with Tomoyama, "They were close with their parents...I don't know of-.." It was then when the girl suddenly shot a worried glance towards Tomoyama and furrowed her brow before standing up with a deathly yell, "It was that stupid uncle! I know it!." The yell startled her friend, causing her to jump.

Tomoyama furrowed her brow and pulled Guriyama back down onto the bench, "I doubt that Guri. He's creepy but I don't think he did it."

Kagami Taiga

Kagami continued to fidget until the bell rang; once so, the boy darted up from his desk and shot out of the room with his bag flying around on his shoulder. Making his way down to the gym to hand in his form, he bumped into quite a few people but paused to bow in apology every time.

Once he was in the gym he ran up to the gym teacher and handed it to him.

The bald gym teacher took it with a nod and told Kagami that he'd participate in the club practice today as a tryout before he could fully join. Also, being a first year meant he might not get to play many games unless he turned out to be good enough.

Tanaka Ryuzaki

Ryuzaki snatched the girls paper right as the bell rang; standing up as he examined the work while chewing his thumb nail. The boy grabbed his bag and threw it over his shoulder without once removing his eyes from her homework. He began making his way out of the classroom and down to the gym; of course the girl would follow him because he has her work...perhaps he planned this?

As he was looking at the neat writing the girl always seemed to manage; he noticed...a doodle? For a second he couldn't tell what it was but then it began to look more and more like...a cat...but then again it could be something else.

Stopping in his tracks; Ryuzaki knelt over a little and rested a hand on his knee for body support as the other arm just dangled with the homework.

"Seriously...this girl."
