Riley turned from where she was leaning on the balcony, blinking at Kathleen. "Thought the sheet said I was alone.. Eh. Change of plans, I s'pose. Long as you're decent, well be fine," Riley said, waving at her roommate.Moonflight said:The two twins, Kathleen and Aaron, had arrived together in an unnoticeable black car each carrying a bag with a few changes of clothes and very little personal effects. They both had a certain look about them and the reason for that look was their mother who had turned them in. Both siblings sat together during the orientation very quietly.
When the orientation was over, both Kathleen and Aaron had walked towards the door together until the guards came to separate them. Neither resisted because they feared for what might happen to the other. With a hug and a few parting words, "Don't resist it. Please don't get hurt." each picked up a piece of paper that had the room assignments on them, and headed off.
Kathleen's heart hurt as she was forced from her brother and moved towards her room. She looked back to her brother to see him looking back at her. Both gave each other a small smile, but each knew better than to believe they were happy. When she came to her door, Kathleen took a deep breath, knocked and entered the room. It was, simply speaking, a prison cell. She looked around the room slightly shaking and saw her roommate. "Hello there." She called out softly.
Aaron looked back to see his sister slightly shaking and turned back with a hard resolve. He would only tolerate this place because his sister had asked it of him. Otherwise, he wouldnt have stood it. He set forward towards his room to put his stuff in it. Then he would go find his sister and make sure she was okay. He found his room and did just that. Then he headed out to go find his sister.
"So, what's your name?" Riley asked, walking inside and closing the door behind her. Deciding she should get to know her roommate, she plopped onto her bed, sitting with her back against the wall.

"I'm.. gonna go. I haven't really got anything to unpack." Opening her small backpack, Sapphire took out another roll of bandaging, an extra set of clothing, and a small box, one that looked like it held jewelry inside. She threw the clothing and bandages on the bed and gently placed the box on the nightstand. Opening the box, Sapphire pulled out a small necklace with a golden charm which she quickly clasped on to her neck. "Cya, kid. Good luck." Sapphire muttered, opening the door and letting it gently shut behind her.
Maybe she'd go look around for Cobalt. But she didn't know what room he was in. She just needed to take a walk to clear her head.
Aria shrugged sheepishly, as if she felt she should have known there wasn't much to do in this stupid place. The fact that there was a pool was a little uplifting, but that was about it. Sapphire suddenly decided to leave, so Aria waved cheerfully.
"Have a nice day, Sapphire!" she replied, laying back on her bed when Sapphire was gone.
"I hate this place.. I just wanna go home.." The memory of her parents' horror at her and Riley's abilities drifted to the front of her mind, and the girl sighed longingly, wishing she'd never been given these abilities. She hated them! She could help with them, but she just wanted things to be normal again..
No. She refused to be weak. Who cares about home? Anywhere but here would do. Aria decided she would escape, one day, no matter what happened.
