Teenage mutant ninja turtles 🫠
I was thinking that too, I thought there’d be a few more with the popular content they’ve had the past few years

- Batman Beyond (so much potential, so little interest)
- Young Justice (the tv show, I haven’t read the comics)
- Lunar Chronicles (Marissa Meyer’s book series, fairytale adaptations in the distant future, Cinderella’s a cyborg, Red Riding Hood is a French woman with a spaceship and a gun, etc.)
- Last Airbender/Legend of Korea (mentioned already, I’d play if it’s a good setup)
lunar chronicles is getting a movie

Bungo Stray dogs.

I can't find anyone who wants to both do a roleplay without canon characters and keep the theme of basing characters on famous writers.

A late 90s mostly early 2000's New Zealand TV show called The Tribe; I started RPing back then because of this show and it still holds a special place in my heart. Hardly anyone I've ever met has even heard of it.

House of the Dead series and Silent Hill, play a significant part of my childhood thanks to my mother but at the same time I can see why you may push past the rules a little bit for those ones, Faith is also a game that I played that I really enjoyed but I can see you people being against it because of the whole satanic Panic stuff and a lot of other things, hi fi rush could be a cool game to role play taking concepts from it but i get stuck in the parry moments where you have to hit a pacifically in the right time with the music or you fail which probably for people to play rhythm games not a problem for a casual like me a problem, making me take long hiatuses because I'll have to do a whole portion of a fight again before reaching that one enemy. it's a superfun Mash'Em beat em Up game with a awesome art style but those pinpoint perfect parry moments are not casual-friendly and suddenly skyrockets the game difficulty to 1 to 100.

honestly at this point I can't tell if it's me or not me but probably me
