Viewpoint What fandoms do you miss, or what are some you can't find partners for?

Pizza Tower
I know I’ve talked about this game A LOT, LOT
But I miss the days when the fandom was bustling, and it was easy for me to find potential role play partners.

Now, it is very hard finding others who like this game :(

Hi!

Blood/Blood+ - old anime about a vampire that hunted demons. Our RP had our charries as the kids of Saya.

Robotech - even older anime space opera. Based on a space ship then as pilots in giant transforming space robo planes we fought giant humanoid aliens.

Totally Spies! - fave cartoon when I was a kid. 3 girlie girls are secret spy team. Had a huuuuge crush on Clover lol.

Cucumber quest. Why does nobody know cucumber quest? I want a rp about cucumber quest SO BAD.

And also: The Witch's Throne. It is literally SUCH a cool RP idea. yet nobody seems to know it.

The fandom for How to Survive Camping barely exists and I have never seen anyone talk about roleplaying from it, ever. There are 15 fics that even exist and somehow even less fanart? Absolutely wild. This fictional universe would make for such good OC RP and there's so much potential for CC plotty RP or even shipping...

I want this series to get so much bigger so I have any hope of finding others who have read it, much less finding RP for it!

My Hero Academia.

It's not that it's particularly hard to find people that like the manga, but I struggle with finding people that want the same type of roleplay based on it that I do.

What I enjoyed most with MHA was that, at least at the start, quirks were pretty weak compared to powers in other settings.

I want a roleplay that reflects that element of the manga.

That part is quite fun yeah. I also think it's quite manageable to get that kind of RP. It's been quite a while since I've been in a my hero RP but at least around half the quirks were often relatively self-contained stuff, though admittedly a few people really pushing it tends to make other people stretch their powers a bit more because they don't want to feel useless...

I got my start in a Devil May Cry R.P. as Trish. I miss stuff like that. Small amount of mystery, lots of action, people taught you small intricacies of combat by flooding you with monsters to deal with that felt threatening. Even if they weren't because every body in that universe is kind of a bad ass. Even Nico despite her just being a human with a R.V. van thingy.

creepypastas. there's so many good stories like the goatman, the showers, and my best friend has a diary of another world. but maybe I'm just a boomer who like things that are too niche. xD
