Thank you. And welcome to RP Nation! ))
"Cerebro?" A voice chimed in suddenly a slight laugh sounding. A man stood across the door of the bathroom, his arms crossed in front of him. He gave them a laughable smile, his hands going up to cover his mouth as he bursted up thinking about the thought. "Oh wow, you girls are funny.... This isn't a comic book! Really!" He shook his head, turning away from the girls with a overly zelas smile. He shook his head as he walked. The man looked about thirty, eyes dark brown with matching hair. He wasn't much to look at, his completion was of that of a father figure. Old, Rigid, but kind and playful.

He could not believe they were letting kid's in now, but at the same time it wasn't really that surprising. He walked slowly down the hallway, passing door after door. His hands grazed the railing, his eyes shifting over it to look down at the many inhabitants below. All of the people had their own style of clothing, all except the men with masks, each armed with guns and ammo. No doubt they were the protectors of this home. Excessive it seemed, but to rebels, it was under cut.

"Hey!" Max called out to the guy who was walking away from them. "What is this place anyways? I mean, does everyone here have powers? And why are there guards around? Are you in danger?" Max was beginning to suspect that they were in the wrong place. "I mean, we were hoping for a little help but I don't think this is the right place for that."

The man turned around, his hand raising to his chin as he pulled down at it. "Wrong place? Is there a right place to be? This is Ravenwood. A sanction and place for those under the watchful eye of imperium.. to hide from them. We are rebels, bent on bringing down the people who imprison our kind. Those who try to use and control us... Yes, all of us have powers. But those who stay here, stay here to fight. I can tell you are not here for that.. However, there is nowhere safer then here.. We are no X-Men.. This place is not a game.. " He walked slowly up to the girls, kneeling down to be eye level with them. "What are your names?"

He gave them a reassuring smile, much like Ryan had. Though the people of Ravenwood were rebels, fighters, they still had that sense of niceness to them. Ravenwood was not about killing or destroying, it was about helping and assistance. Many people joined, thinking they could kill, savagely kill the trackers and leaders of Imperium, but Reventree never allowed it. Many of the rebels thought him weak, but really his was strong.

It took a strong man to put aside his feelings of anger and hate, to spare those who hurt or attacked him. Infact that was how most of the rebels came here, trackers of Imperium turned by Raven. Shown the real meaning of safety and freedom. If he had killed every person who attacked him, he would have no rebel army such as this. Most of the rebels knew this, and many came to him in the same manor, but still they thought him weak. There are still those who's minds.. will never be changed. This was a fact, Reventree found hard to swallow.

Julia winced as her body slammed against the glass, the shards digging into her skin. Her whole body throbbed from the impact, head pounding painfully. She felt someone grab her arm, and she flinched, expecting it to be Craig, expecting to be thrown aside again. Yet this hand helped her up and supported her, leading her out the door. She could hear his voice... Raventree's. At first she felt joy and relief at the sound, but just as quickly it turned into a pained anger. Why did he lie to her about who he was? Was everything he ever said a lie, some story twisted and molded by him? Did he even love her?

"Mommy!" Raisa ran forward and flung her arms around Julia's waist, burrowing her face into her stomach. Julia hugged her back, caressing her hair with all those doubts swirling through her mind. "Sh... It's okay sweetheart... It okay..." She gently pulled Raisa along, slipping in behind Raventree and the other rebel, lips set in a thin line, gaze averted to the ground. "Where are we going?" she asked at last, her voice echoing in the silence. Raisa clung onto her arm like glue, blue hues peering up to Raventree curiously from under her thick black locks.

Reventree limped forward, the long silence clawing at him. His hand traced along the wall, its slightly rough surface catching on his glove every couple of feet. "To my hom-" His word's started strong, quickly fading off. His head felt light, his head drifting back and forth, like his body was swaying. Reventree stepped forward, his leg suddenly collapsing beneath him. George suddenly lunged forward, his arm barely catching Reventree in time. Reventree let out a painful huff, his body hanging over Georges arm.

Reventree body was burning up, even threw the thick clothes and gloves he wore, George could feel his hot flesh. "I-I'm okay.. " He breathed, using his hands to push up off Georges grasp. It took a moment for him to stabilize himself, using Georges shoulder as a bolder. George was much bigger then Reventree, making him look like a child in comparison. "Rev, we need to stop.. your-" George started but was quickly cut off. "No time, we need to hurry, I imagine he will be here soon... " George nodded.

Worry filled Julia at Raventree's weak condition. She couldn't help herself, she naturally felt for him, reaching out her hand to touch his shoulder, to comfort him, but hesitated, letting it drop back to her side. Why even bother? Why even bother loving a liar? She nearly laughed out loud at the thought, feeling hurt and... Well, confused. Unsure on what to believe. Her thoughts were jumbled, part of her saying one thing while another part said another. Which side was she supposed to listen to? The logical side or the emotional one?

Reventree spun his hand in the air, his finger moving to point to the steel door. The sound of latching metal clanked against their ears as the light above the door flickered green. The door slid open with ease, sliding into the wall like a elevator door. Reventree held his torso, walking forward, his head hanging low to the floor. AS he turned the corner down another hallway his body was suddenly stopped, his weak form being thrown backwards slightly. His knees once again began to collapse beneath him, this time a hand stretched out from in front of him, quickly grabbing his upper arm and pulling him closer.

"Leader?" A familiar voice rang in his ears, cool eyes looking down upon him. Just on the other side of the corner stood three people. On the right was James, the very same doctor Reventree and Julia went to when they first meet. On the left was Jane, the pusher who had been captured with him earlier. The both gave him relieving smiles, letting out sighs of relief they had found him. All of them seemed happy, except for the man in the middle. He wore an all black suit, his head covered by a matching motorcycle helmet. None of his body was exposed, all of it completely protected. The reason why became more obvious as his hand grasped Reventree's arm. He wore it so he could carry Reventree, without the fear of touching his flesh. It was a smart idea, they obviously didn't expect him to be conscious.

Reventree let out a sigh of relief as he heard Jame's voice, a slight smile coming across his face. "It's been a while.. " he laughed a bit as he spoke, his eyes faded. Janes eyes widened as she looked at him. "Wh- What happened to your eyes? Your body.. " She walked over to him with worried eyes, her hand tempting to touch his flesh, but retracting knowing she could not touch him. Her gaze moved behind him, her face turning boiling red. "What is she doing here! This is the b*tch who put us here! Ill kill her!" She screamed, suddenly lunging forward. "George!" Reventree had a faint voice, but still strong enough for George to hear.

George quickly side stepped, blocking her way. She let out a slight frustrated scream, her hands clenched at her sides. "Why! Why are you protecting her!! She-" "Enough.. We do not have time for this.. " Reventree kept a calm voice, his tone a bit more annoyed and demanding then before. "James.. Tell Justin, open all of them.. " He looked up at where he thought Jame's would be, his eyes a bit off from where he stood. James nodded, turning to a camera that faced them. He two mimiced hand signs, pulling his hand to signal all doors. He turned around to look at Reventree, his brow raising as he spoke. "You realize they cannot control which ones open, if we do a mass unlock.. right.. " Reventree let out a pained laugh, his gaze moving down the hallway. "Guess we better hurry then.. huh?"

"Crazy bastard.." James smirked when he spoke, shaking his head at Reventree.

"Jane... "

"Ya I got it!" She whinned, throwing a nasty glare at Julia. She closed her eyes, letting her mind reach to all the people within Imperium. Her voice echoed in the minds of all the people, including Julia and Rasia.

"If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom. Our lives are not our own. We are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future. Imperium gives the hope of safety and control, yet all they offer is a prison cell. We are not criminals, we are humans. The next stage of evolution in this world. Today I give you all the choice. Will you stay, and be a prisoner of your own mind, locked away to waste away in a endless decade of steel bars? Or will you walk, and rightfully take the freedom you so dearly deserve. Our life's amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is any ocean, but a multitude of drops? This is a message, to all those who want a place in this world, that does not require a leash. We the followers of Reventree give you sanctity. We believe there is another world waiting for us. A better world. And we will be waiting for you there"

A tear dropped from Jane's eyes, her gaze turning back to Reventree. The words she spoke were the words that hovered on the top of his mind, his feelings touching the bottom of her heart with every word. James smiled, walking over to Reventree and looking at him. "We need to get you back now.. Your body will not last much longer" James looked over to the masked man, his eyes flickering down the hall as all the patients began to emerge. "Time to go.. " The helmeted man spoke quickly, pulling Reventree forward, his hand grasping his arm firmly to keep him on his feet.

The twins frowned. This was sounding more and more like a script for a movie. Rebels? Fighting against the 'bad guys', Imperium. Max half expected a camera crew to pop out and someone to scream cut. Max looked at Remy and knew that she shared her same thoughts.

"Um, I'm Remy. That's Max," the younger twin said shaking her head. "I'm sorry, this is a rebel camp? Is this like a government thing?"

"And what's Imperium?" Max asked. She felt like she had just been dropped into the middle of something big, and Max wasn't sure she wanted that. No, she knew she didn't want that. Max was not a fighter. Especially for a cause she knew nothing about.

Remy glanced around. Her mind was abuzz with questions. She had never head of Imperium or Ravenwood before. And how had she known that there was more people with powers? It should have been obvious, they couldn't have been the only ones. But seeing all these people with powers in one place made her feel not so alone. But just like her twin, Remy did not want to fight in a battle she knew nothing about. She wondered if they could just help Max control her powers and then send them on their way.

Julia's grip tightened on Raisa as Jane lunged towards her, threatening to kill her for turning them in like that. What she didn't know was that it was Julia's biggest regret. She tensed, readying herself for the hit that was bound to come, pushing Raisa behind her. Yet Jane never made it to her, for George stepped in front of her via instructions from Raventree. Julia scowled slightly at this, hating having to be protected by anyone. "I can handle myself..." She muttered, although her hold on Raisa loosened. She stood quietly as Jane's words echoed in her mind, rather impressed by her speech. It was persuasive, and entirely true.

After that, although Jane gave her hated glares, Julia gave her a respectful nod, though she doubted it would be returned kindly. But why would she show Julia any form of kindness? She had turned them in, and out of fear. It had been an act of cowardice. If only she could take it back, if only she never called in the first place.

Raven stumbled forward slightly, the mans pull firm. In the distance of the hallway, guards could be heard, their screams to find the 'territor and rebel leader' echoing in the hallway.. "Shit!" Reventree muttered turning to face Julia, Jane, Raisa and George. " we will need to split up, scatter their guards. James, Your with Julia and Raisa. George your with Jane, I'm sure you can handle it. Jinx, your with me.. Meet back up at Ravenwood.." George nodded as did James. Reventree spun back around, his step toward Jinx stopping as Jane moaned once more. "No! I want to be with you! Not this-" Reventree quickly cut her off, his tone short and angry. "Enough Jane. You are not a child. Stop acting like on-" his voice was suddenly cut off, his body being thrown to the side by Jinx as bullets flew down the hallway. The guards had found them. Jinx calmly pulled a gun from his waist, shooting down the hallway. The guards ducked back around the corner, waiting for the firing to stop. All the breath left from Reventrees chest, his lungs gasping for air from the sudden force to the wall. "Move.." His voice was breathless. James quickly shoved Julia and Raisa into a adjacent hallway, yelling for Jane to move.

George smile, taking off in a full sprint down the hallway as Jane hesitantly gave chase after Him. It only took a moment for Jinx to run out of ammo, the clip, clicking to the sound of an empty barrel. He quickly grabbed Reventree, pulling him down another hallway. Jinx quickly reloaded, keeping the gun at his side. The sound of guards yelling echoed down the halls. All the doors were unlocked, which mean every prisoner was out. This would give them a advantage, and he could only hope it would help them to have a better life. Reventree stumbled down the hallway, his body still being held up by a tight grasp. James quickly ran forward, making sure to keep Julie and her daughter in his sights. They quickly dodged in and out of hallways, slipping threw prisoners who stood about, their minds in a daze. They were confused. They did not know what to do.

The man raised a brow at the twins, laughing a bit under his breath. "Imperium is a organization that imprisons our kind. Often you will spend your entire life in a cell, or if you show promise, you can roam around as am employee.. Once our leader returns, he will help you control your power. Until then... Don't get into any trouble.." He quickly came to a full stand, Turning and walking away. The rebels here were generally not well behaved without Reventree around, so the girls better watch it. Some rebels here are not friendly.. Or insane for one reason or another.

Julia quickly pulled Raisa to the side as the bullets shot down the hall rapidly, covering her mouth to muffle her screams. James ushered them down the hallway, two guards chasing after them with guns in their hands. Julia glanced behind her shoulder, grip tight on Raisa, guiding her carefully through the maze. Then, in almost a blur, she pushed Raisa towards James, though not to where she would get in the way, and quickly spun to face the guards, a pistol in hand. Two swift, rapid shots fired from the barrel, each one hitting a guard square in the chest. They stumbled back and hit the ground, eyes glazed over and lifeless, faces surprised by their sudden death. "Take Raisa and get out of here," Julia ordered coolly over her shoulder, quickly reloading the pistol as three more guards rounded the corner. "I'll be right behind you."

Her years of training kicked in as the guards lunged towards her, weapons raised and pointed towards her chest. She grabbed the barrel of a shotgun and twisted it to the right, sending it flying to the wall. Just as quickly, she slammed the palm of her hand upwards, hitting the guard in the nose with a painful crunch. He staggered backwards, and Julia raised her pistol and pulled the trigger. The bullet slammed through his chest, and he fell limply to the ground. The other two guards approached her at once, guns raised as they watched her cautiously. Julia smirked, a wicked gleam in her eye, the adrenaline pumping wildly through her veins.

She ducked as one swiped out at her, reaching up and snagging their arm, twisting it behind their back. The other guard approached her from behind in attempts to restrain her. She kicked her foot back and hit him in the groin, using her free hand to shoot the guard she held in the head. He collapsed to the ground and Julia spun around, raising the pistol to the final guard. He coughed violently, his hands clenched into fists, eyes narrowed as Julia raised the gun for the final time, pressing down on the trigger. There was a loud bang that echoed off the walls, and the guard collapsed to the ground, a clean bullet hole in his head.

James hands outstretched, his hands wrapping around the small girl. As the men attacked, his body went to go forward, his eyes wide as she whipped the floor with them. He was impressed, she moved with precision, her composure perfect. James felt a sudden tug on his shoulder, his body being thrown against the wall. He grunted as a stern hand pinned him against the wall, his hands releasing Raisa. He tsked, wincing slightly at the sudden force. He quickly reached out his hand grazing the soldiers cheek. The solider stood stunned for a moment, eyes wide. His cheek slowly shifted colors, purple veins creeping threw his flesh. The guard sudden fell to his knees, his hands falling limp to the floor. The discolored bruising quickly spread to his eyes, his whites turning chalk red. The man let out painful gasps as James quickly stepped over him, hands out stretching to grab Raisa. He picked her up gently, turning to face Julia. "Hey! We need to go! " he quickly grabbed onto Julia's arm, pulling her quickly along side him. "Leader separated us according to our active powers. You require touch.. I do not.. So stick with me.. I'd hate to see him have to use his powers to save your life.. It was hard enough on his body to do it for your daughter!" He quickly turned a corner, his eyes narrowing as they faced two more guards. His iris seemed to shift a deep brown, the guards suddenly choking up and collapsing. Just like the other guard, their bodies became riddled with purple veins, their gasps for air strained, like they had been poisoned.

Reventree could only follow, his arm being tugged roughly by Jinx. The sound of gun shots made him wince, around every other corner being thrown against the wall by Jinx. Jinx and Reventree ran into just as many guards as Julia and James. Slowly Reventree needed more support, eventually having his entire arm wrapped around Jinxs neck to support him. Reventrees conscious faded in and out, his breathing slowly lessening with each step. Although you could not see Jinxs face, it was obvious he showed concern from under his helmet, constantly glancing over at his leader. Yet another guard stepped in front of them, gun drawn. Jinx grinded his teeth, his eye twitching. The guard stopped, eyes wide as his body suddenly pulled backward, his form collapsing inward and slamming hard against the wall.

Elise slowly pushed the front door of her house open, stepping out into the mild sunshine of the morning, she cooed a gentle "I'm off" back inside, whereby she was greeted shortly by Theresa, her mother. Turning to walk down the road, Elise let out a short sigh, parts of her mind traveling back to the event that had occurred a few days ago, when she'd wandered the woods again on her way back home, she had expected it to be a normal, peaceful walk like always, but it would prove different this time.

As she had strode trough the evening woods that day, she'd noticed something. Something large was lumbering in the woods a couple of meters away, apparently just having been woken, a downright huge bear arose from its position on the ground. It peered around tiredly for a few moments, Elise herself being completely frozen in placed, terrified of what might come to occur if it noticed her. She'd not yet been sure how much she could bring herself to use her "Specialty" as her instructor called it. So, as soon as the bear focused its gaze upon the female a bit away, she stirred nervously.

For some reason, this was not Elise's lucky day, as the bear seemed gravely agitated, and began charging the moment it spotted her. Terrified, Elise sprang for the nearest tree, covering behind it for a second, her ears taking in the movements of the bear as they approached the tree. Lifting its nose, the bear slowly made its way around the tree, all whilst Elise shuffled in the opposite direction.

The bear however, had soon had enough of this game, and tackled the tree, sending Elise tumbling a bit away as she rapidly scrambled to her feet again, now facing the bear, which was less than a meter away, she had still been terrified, remaining still in place, waiting for the bear to move first.

As the bear once more charged, she remembered it had lifted an enormous paw in an attempt to mangle her small figure. After this however, her memories became dim, flooded with unnecessary information, the only thing she could clearly remember was the body of the bear, bruised and with a cracked jaw, and herself running away from there, without a scratch.

A sudden buzzing woke her from her memories, a small fly wavered around her as she continued to stride down the road towards school, she lifted her left index finger and placed it right on top of the fly, simply preventing it from escaping whilst she followed its every turn and movement.

((I would like to apologize for not being active the past few days. Didn't have any wifi accessible and have been doing my best to post regularly. By Tuesday night, I should be on more regularly))

Reaching the gates of her school, Elise eyes fluttered about, studying the numerous people gathered around a small newspaper stand a bit away, Intrigued, she set of in their direction, only to soon be halted to a call from within the crowd.

From within the clutches of the people suddenly sprung a tall girl, recognized by Elise as Sonja, a friend she'd manage to make during her first high school year. Something was off however, she seemed all to excited for her usually demeanor as she strode towards the hesitant Elise.

"Hey, Elise!" Sonja's voice rang excitedly in her ears, and perhaps a bit to loud too, as several heads suddenly turned to her from the masses to stare towards her. Elise shivered somewhat as Sonja came into arms length "I knew you where though.. but I'd never have expected this, Elise!" Sonja exclaimed cheerfully. However, Elise could merely blink confusedly in return, she had no idea what her friend was talking about, until her eyes caught the image of a picture on the front of the newspaper. Someone had been there during her fight, someone had photographed her! The though rang trough her mind over and over again, as her expression twisted into a faintly fearful one.

"E-eh.. W-well... Yea.. I... I suppose so?" She murmured hesitantly in return to her friend, before gazing towards the newsstand once more, and then darting for the school doors, Sonja's confused voice following her as she slammed the doors shut "Where are you going? Bear wrestler!"

Surprised, Julia looked up as James spoke, briefly frozen with shock. "Wait, what? He helped Raisa?" She thought back to the doctors, back when she had been near a break down, her daughter in a coma, trapped in never ending sleep. Had Raventree really helped her back, brought her back to the waking world? Both himself and the doctor looked exhausted afterwards, which made sense if he used his power. Her face softened slightly, and at that moment, she made a promise to herself. She would not let Raventree save her life. She didn't want his energy to be wasted on her, a woman who faced too much in too little time. If he ever tried, she would make sure it wouldn't happen.

Cursing, Craig staggered up from the ground, massaging his bruised jaw, a cold scowl on his face. The stupid rebel had caught him by surprise, something that was very rare, and very frustrating. It was because he lost his temper against that foolish whore Julia. Falling in love with a rebel all those years ago. He should of known the bastard would of come back. And of course he brings the love of his life with him. That traitorous b*tch. She would pay heavily for this. With the same cool scowl on his face, he marched towards the door, stepping outside angrily. A nearby soldier stiffened, immediately recognizing that anger, his body alert and sharp. "Find them and bring them back to the interrogation room." Craig said simply, jaw tight as the soldier nodded, running off to deliver the instructions.

James tsked, quickly grabbing onto Julia's wrist and suddenly pulling her forward. Bullets flew again down the hallway, there quick piercing metal barely missing Julia as she was suddenly pulled into another hallway. Her body slammed against his, his arm wrapping around her waist and holding her close as he leaned against the wall. Raisa also stood in his clutches, his hand going behind her back and holding her against his hip. He closed his eyes, breathing carefully. He looked up at the ceiling, the veins surrounding his eyes swelling with purple and red veins. A series of sudden thuds could be heard from down the hallway, the imperial troops suddenly falling to the floor. Their bodies, much like the other's before convulsed on the floor, veins peeking threw their pale, now sweating skin. Each body looked like had been poisoned, slowly, painfully tearing at the body.

He sighed, his gaze moving down from the ceiling down to look at Julia, his hand slowly releasing her. "Yes, it was him. I did not have the power to help her. Only Reventree can give, take and share life forces and energies. He has always kept his power hidden, leaving it to appear only as death. But it is much more then that. He is not death, but really the decider. He can give the life force of one person to another, or take it away." James smiled down at her, carefully setting Raisa down. Reventree can loop life forces and make you feel like your body is electrified, your heart thumping against your chest. And even though his power has so much potential to it, it is still very dangerous. Even Reventree could remember back when he was with Julia, they fought constantly. She wanted to constantly touch him as he passed by, giving him sweet gestures of affection, yet every time he would shy away.

He explained it as he did not like public affection, but really it was a lie. He did not want it because he had very little control over a sudden contact. If she suddenly kissed or hugged or touched his flesh, she could die. He would have to grab her and force her to stay to make sure he controlled his power. Julia often saw it as a aggressive act, getting scared and upset constantly. Reventree did all he could to console her, but what she wanted, he could never give. Reventree could feel his body suffocating, his lungs limp within his chest. He could hear it, the soft weak thump of his heart. Blood dripped from his wounds, his arm saturated with blood. Warm thick blood dripped down his fingertips, slowly splatting to the floor.

He wheezed, his arm held tightly around Jinx's neck. His feet practically dragged behind him as he tried to walk, his body now completely exhausted. Bullets once again tore down the hallway, causing Jinx to suddenly dart to the side, pinning Reventree against the wall. Jinx lifted his gun, three shots echoing down the hallway as each troop collapsed to the floor. Reventree collapsed down to the floor, his body laying face down on the hard marble floor. Jinx quickly kneeled down, his hands shaking Reventree to wake up. Jinx eyes widened as he shook him, his eyes un-moving. Jinx cursed under his breath, flipping Reventree over on his back, his head resting against the hard ground.

Jinx let his hand rest on Reventree's chest, his eyes widening as his chest sat un-moving. He wasn't breathing? Jinx panicked on the inside, quickly placing his hands over Reventree's heart and thrusting down on his chest. 1, 2, 3. He pumped at his chest, trying hard to jump start his heart, the sound of cracking ribs sounding with each thrust. Jinx shook in anxiety, his motions becoming more frantic and uneasy. "Rev! Shit, don't do this! Come on breath!" He mouthed, his mask muffling his words. Jinx stopped, cursing loudly down the hallway. "Come on! REVENTREE!" He screamed, his once soft cool voice desperate. His hands stopped on his chest, orange and red mist seemed to illuminate from his palms. The mist sparkled like the sun, pushing like a soft cloud around his hands.

It was dangerous to use his power, even being next to him posed a great threat. Jinx's power was different, his power much like a work of telekinesis. He could use force, picture and move things at will, however his power had a bit of a dangerous twist. All of his actions were coated in a radioactive mist, his power moving in a forcefully emp like gesture. Reventree was the only one who could stand his power, who's body had the ability to be uneffected when he used his power. After all, if touching himself could not kill him, how could Jinx's power? Jinz let his power wrap around Reventree's heart, slowly trying to bring it to life. His eyes twitched from under his visor, Reventrees chest convulsing upward at each attempt to jump start his heart.

The seconds left like minutes, until suddenly as gasp of air came from Reventree, his lungs coughing hard and he turned to his side, his body grasping for air. His body strained as he lay limp on the floor, unable to move. Jinx let out a breath of relief, slowly letting his fingertips go beneath Reventrees back. Just as soon as his finger's began to slip under him, his eyes widened, his body suddenly collapsing in pain. He let out a scream, his body hitting hard against the floor and he curled in to a ball. Behind him stood familiar eyes, lips perked in the most angry manner. Craig. Jinx's one and only scream echoed down the hallways as Craig stood over him, his arm's crossed in the most cockiest of manners.

Jame's pulled off the wall, walking down the hallway. He suddenly stopped at the pain-staking sound of Jinx's scream, suddenly turing around. "Jinx?... " He muttered, his eyes widening. He knew all to well Jinx was not one to scream and usually was calm and collected. For him to let out such a cry, meant something happened, something bad. "Reventree?" He muttered, his fists clenching at his sides. He looked over at Julia and Raisa. His order was to get them out, he knew he could not turn around, but that sound.. They came here for Reventree, not this women and her child. If Reventree stayed here... He would most defiantly die. James knew his orders, and had to follow them. "Lets go.. We need to hurry.." He muttered to Julia, obvious frustration and fear in his tone.

Julia heard the scream, her eyes widening as she spun to face the sound. Before James could even consider stopping her, she broke into a run, sprinting towards the sound. Jinx was with Raventree. If he was in trouble, that meant Raventree was as well. She couldn't let anyone else hurt him. She pushed past every guard that dared approach her, ducking under flailing arms and flung out guns, occasionally knocking them unconscious. Julia never stopped moving, never stopped running. Her mind revolved around saving Raventree, protecting him from whatever dangers that faced him. "Raventree!" she cried as she skidded around a corner, seeing his limp body on the floor.

Jinx lay withering in pain next to him, and Julia quickly dropped down by his side, grazing a hand over his shoulder. She sent him waves of healing thoughts, to help him take his mind off the pain. Who she didn't see was Craig, a scowl on his face as he approached her silently, reaching over and snagging her arm, raising her in the air. Julia winced and gritted her teeth, narrowing her blue hues at him. He slammed her against the wall, holding her up only by her wrist, which was physically painful for her, yet she didn't make a sound. His grip was tight, fingers squeezed around her arm, hot breath tickling her cheek. "Now, lets try this again," Craig said coolly, his face close to hers, "You and your little lover boy will come with me and I'll let everyone else go."

Julia glared at him suspiciously, blue hues narrowed into slim slits. "And if I refuse?" she asked, voice laced with ice. He simply smirked, pulling out a phone from his pocket, showing her the screen. Julia's face paled. "I have twenty snipers currently aiming their weapons directly at your daughter. If they are to fail, there are plenty other things that are painful and very much unavoidable." He put the phone away, keeping his grasp on her wrist. He smiled, though definitely not kindly, something almost... Evil in his eyes. "Now, dear Julia. What is your decision? The life of your daughter or a fairly... Reasonable arrangement?" Raisa or him. That was the choice she had to make, and, thinking it over, it was a fairly easy one.

He had lied to her. For all those years, he had told her he was someone he was not. And why? Why lie to her, why not just tell her the truth. Then there may not of been so many fights, there may not of been so many tears. Maybe it was childish of her, selfish even. But her daughter came first. She was the one who raised her, who fought through every temper tantrum, who struggled to learn how to cook somewhat decently so they didn't order food every night. He hadn't been there to help her, to guide her through the bad times and hold her when she needed his touch. No, he had been much too busy with other matters, leaving Julia stranded. And she hated him for it.

"It's a deal," she said coolly, not even lookin

g to Raventree for his opinion. All they had ever done was fight. Yell at each other, argue about every little tiny detail. Raisa came first, no matter what. Never a liar. "Myself and Raventree will go with you, and everyone else is released. No being chased by guards, no being followed. You let them leave." Craig nodded in satisfaction, releasing her and reaching for the collar of Raventree's shirt, lifting him up to a standing position. A nearby guard approached, given sharp instructions to let the others go, to let them escape. Including Raisa. Relief filled Julia at the fact that Craig kept his word, watching as the guards came back, guns strapped to their backs. The others were free.

Craig ordered two of the guards over, each grabbing Julia by one arm on opposite sides, holding her firmly in place. Two others approached Raventree, dressed like Jinx had been, with a full black suit, gloves, and helmets, and grabbed each of his arms, holding him even tighter then those who held Julia. They led the two forward, shoving them roughly through the halls, making sure none came to try to rescue them, or at least not Raventree. Julia herself doubted they would try to save her after what she just did. "Put him in a cell," Craig instructed sharply, his gaze flickering to Julia. "And bring her to interrogation." Her and Raventree were sent in opposite directions, him towards the basement with the cells, her towards a new interrogation room, to await the questions and the inevitable fate that would be thrown in her face.

Sighing, Elise pushed the door to the classroom open. She'd already endured many noticeable stares in the hallway, and was aware that she would probably be receiving more of them as the day went by. Scooting over towards her seat, she let out a relived sigh as the classroom appeared empty, for now. I really wish this school year was over soon, so that I could get out of this town... the thought echoed in her mind a few times. It had been there ever since that day, when her perception of things changed, when everything was suddenly noticeable, yet at the same time so hard to remember unless she actually focused on it.

The door of the classroom slowly opened once more, and a middle age man, wearing a brown suit with a white shirt underneath, one third of its length showing at the lowest point, Elise noted. Gah! why do I always see useless things like these, if I only could like.. go back to what I was.. only when needed, I mean, It's nice to be able to do this and all, but...

Elise blinked somewhat, as she realized her teacher was staring at her, she frowned somewhat and turned her gaze towards the windows. "Elise? Is something wrong?" He asked, to which she responded by sighing lightly as she turned her gaze back towards him "I suppose you read the newspaper as well, Mister" she spoke, it came out in a way less confident tone than she had attempted, causing her to lightly blush as her teacher broke into a wide smirk.

"So, so, have the other students been giving you unnecessary stares again Elise" he replied in a calming tone, his left hand reached to correct his suit somewhat, so that it now revealed four tenths of the white shirt below, Elise noted once more.

"Mhm..." she cooed quietly, turning her gaze down towards her desk once more, she didn't want to think about any unnecessary details right now, all she wanted was to get trough the school day. Preferably without all to much problems.

A final thought crossed her mind before the bell rang, how far had the news spread, surely there wouldn't be people from other towns arriving to interview her or the likes?

Reventree's mind was lost, his vision tunneled. His ears rang with a incessant noise, his body numbing with the constant onset of pain. He could barely feel the tugging of his collar, his feet lump under him. The guards practically dragged him down the hallway, his glazed eyes barely able to lift themselves. He did not blame Julia, on the contrary, he was glade she made the decision. Reventree's purpose was to help these prisoners escape.. that above all, but even more then that. He was willing to die for his daughter.

The dragged him away from Julia, tossing him into a cell. He hit the floor with a thud, his lungs chocking up at the sudden impact. He tried to cough, but his lungs would not allow it. Blood pooled under him once again, leaving the guards to look at each other. Another guard stood behind them, raising a brow as the scene. It was like a horror movie. How he was live was a mystery, even to him. "Fix him up.. The minimum. Craig would not want him to die on his own.. " He man's voice was a matter a fact, spinning on his heals and walking away.

The men nodded, walking forward and flipping Reventree's body. Reventree's mind blacked out once more and they unbuttoned his shirt, their forces like whispers. The stayed in the room for about thirty minutes, giving him the minimal blood transfusion and wrapping his wounds. The wrapping job was crap, the bandages falling from his torso and arm. He groaned and his mind slowly and dizzily came to once more. The room was dark, just like the interrogation room the walls were rough cold concrete. The walls were rusted from the soft flow of water from the ceiling.

It was odd that the holding cells and interrogation rooms were like this, considering the entire building was in incredible shape. Maybe it was a scare tactic, or perhaps someone who had a power before them made it this way. His head swade as he sat up, his eyes straining.. Yet he saw nothing.. "Jinx?... Julie.. " His voice was quiet, like he whispered it to a ghost. It pained him to hear no reply, just the soft echoing of water drops. His body felt a little better, but still not enough to move.

He had no idea what happened to James, Raisa, Jinx, Jane or George.. He only hoped they had escaped. He wondered how long it had been, minutes.. days.. hours? The guard had gone from the room, leaving nothing behind. He groaned in pain as he found his way to the wall, using its wet, yet sturdy form to pull himself to his feet. He took a long moment, keeping his entire form against the wall. He could barely stand without it, his legs shaking beneath him.

His hot feverish body leaned against the cold wall, his clothes slowly dampening with rusted water. One hand wrapped around his torso, as the other stayed, holding his body up to the wall. He closed his eyes, trying to push out the dizzy feeling, the constant ringing in his ears. Yet it wouldn't stop.. He wondered if Julia was okay. He hoped they would not hurt her.. not like they did him.. He could take it.. But.. could she?

"How long have you been involved with rebel affairs?" Julia simply stared at the man asking her these questions, her blonde hair tangled and brushed back into a sloppy ponytail, dark circles outlining her blue hues. As usual, she did not say a word, did not make a sound. She was silent, arms crossed over her chest lazily, eyes staring blankly ahead. Julia had nothing to say, nothing to admit, ergo she remained silent, lips set in a thin line. The man sitting across from her frowned, tapping his pen impatiently on the table. "Julia, we mercifully spared your daughter's life, and this is how you repay us? By not relaying any information necessary in stopping those rebel bastards?"

Silence. Her eyes revealed nothing except an empty void of crystal blue. Sighing, the man stood, casually strolling over to her, hands entwined behind his back. Before Julia could even process any movement he made, he had her by the hair, lifting her head up and slamming her face down onto the table. There was not a peep. "Maybe we should take back that deal we made you, child. That little daughter of yours would make an excellent addition to Imperium, wouldn't she? But as a patient or as a member?" He yanked her upright by her hair, examining her for a long moment, waiting for some form of response. All he received was a flicker of hate in Julia's eyes.

In a blur, he flung her out of the chair and into a wall, her back slamming against it with a thud. "What do you know?!" He shouted, storming over to her and lifting her up again, flinging her to the opposite side of the room. Julia felt her bones rattle as she hit the floor with a thud, wincing in pain. "Tell us, and maybe this will end, you traitorous little wh*re!" Anger filled Julia at the cold words, her hands clenching into fists as she slowly lifted herself up, eyes flickering over to the man. He stalked over to her once more, rage clear on his face as he prepared to fling her around like a rag doll once more. But this time Julia refused to let him.

As he reached out for her, Julia rolled, jumping to her feet and spinning behind him. She grazed her fingers against his arm, sending his emotions into turmoil, every thought, every feeling crashing into him at once. A pained cry passed his lips as he collapsed to the ground, clutching his temples and rocking back and forth like a baby. Julia smirked at the sight, her gaze raising to the one way mirror that separated herself from the outside world. She knew Craig was there, watching her, a scowl on his face. In response to his reaction that she couldn't see, she raised her hand and waggled her fingers tauntingly, daring him to test her.

A few moments later, three guards came bursting in, followed calmly by no other then the infamous Craig. "Julia, Julia, Julia," he tsked, shaking his head at her coolly, "You have a lot to learn, dear." All he did was look at her for a millisecond, and Julia felt the pain. A scream passed her lips as she fell to the ground, wrapping her arms around her torso and squeezing her eyes shut. "Send her to the cells down below," Craig instructed the guards as tears filled her eyes, threatening to spill down her cheeks. Then, just as fast as the pain came, it vanished, replaced by the powerful grip of the guards lifting her up, grabbing her arms firmly as they practically dragged her out of the room.

She was thrown roughly into a cell, landing on her hands and knees uncomfortably, the door slamming shut behind her. Coughing, she struggled to her feet, dizzy and lightheaded from being thrown around so much, strands of hair clinging to her sweaty cheeks. She raised her hand to the bars of a cell, grazing her fingers mindlessly over the rusted metal, her thoughts spinning wildly in her head. She was mad, upset, confused, and scared. But she had to be strong, she had to keep a straight face and hold her head up high as if none of this affected her in any way. That's what she had always done, and what she had to do now. What other choice did she have?

"Are you okay.." A light voice echoed behind her in the darkness, a heavy form shifting in the back shadows in the cell. Familiar weak eyes flickered against the soft lights. Raven stood silently a weak smile coming from him and he shifted forward into the light. His form was weak, hurt. His legs shook beneath him as he stood on his own, blood dripping from his poorly wrapped bandages. He took another step forward, his gazeless eyes moving down to the floor.

"Craig was stupied enough to think us being together would work?... He's.. More foolish then I thought." His breaths were painful, His words coming out more in gasps, Then whole sentence. The way his body hung made you wonder how he could even stand. His hands wrapped around his torso in a comforting motion. The pressure from his palms relieving the pain in his torso. He knew Craig only put her there hoping that he would talk to her. But what he didn't realize was she didn't know anything ..and he would never tell her..

Julia glanced over her shoulder at the voice, hands gripping tightly around the bar. She turned her gaze away, not saying a word, her blue hues filled with anger. When she did speak, her voice was as cold as ice, emotional hurt and pain laced within the words. "You lied to me," she whispered, squeezing her eyes shut, "Why? Why spend almost ten years with me just saying lie after lie, telling me you were someone that you aren't!" She paused, taking a deep breath to control her temper, her whole body shaking. She didn't even care anymore what others heard, what others knew, or what even happened to her. She felt numb, numb and sick, her stomach churning as she dug her nails into her skin.

"What else did you lie about? Was every last bit of it a lie?" Now she spoke irrationally, her voice childish and accusing. Julia didn't care. Nothing mattered. Her head was spinning. Her thoughts were wild. "Was I just some tool in your game, just some pawn?" At this point she spun to face him, her knees trembling and eyes full of tears. "You left me alone, god dammit! You left me alone to take care of a child, left me clueless and confused on what the hell to do! Did you even care?!"

His eyes turned sad as she spoke, his form taking a step forward, slowly closing in the distract between them. "I never lied Julia.. What you were to we was real.. " he stopped for a moment, swallowing. Each word shot pain threw this lungs, his breath barely enough to get the strained words out. "I never meant to leave you alone with our daughter.. I.. I would have given anything to be with you both.. " he closed in the distance weakly, slowly raising his right hand to graze her cheek. His other hand wrapped around his torso, his form slowly straightening. He had to look strong for her, for them. "What would you have done.. If you had known.. What would it change?" He winced slightly at the last word. His lung began to lock up again, his voice restricted. He could not push out anymore words, his body would not allow it.

He wanted nothing more then to hold Julia, to hold their daughter. If he had been more careful, he wouldn't have had his memory taken. He regretted so much these feelings he had, regretted not being able to show her. But what would she have done? If she knew the person she loved, was the person who stood for everything she didn't. He was the one man she swore to kill for this world, and the one person in another reality.. She promised to love. How do you tell someone.. That you are the person they have spent their entire life fighting. Hating...

"She's my daughter," Julia snapped coolly, turning her eyes away from him, "I'm the one who handled every temper tantrum, all of the teaching, everything! You weren't there! I don't care if you're her father by blood, she's my daughter. There's no our about it!" She smacked his hands away as he reached to graze her cheek, stepping away from him, digging her nails into her palms until her skin bled. "And if I knew? I would of still loved you, dammit! I may of been mad, but at least you told me, at least I didn't find out through something entirely different! I wouldn't of said a word to anyone! I would of protected you!" She knew people were listening to this, and she didn't care. She didn't care who heard, and what they decided the consequences would be. All emotions were gone. Except anger. All she could feel was anger and hate.
