JD frowned shaking his head some giving a heavy sigh "Carmen you had a stroke....we have to figure out whats going on with your heart even more now." He explained quietly

Lily frowned some when he didn't answer her question. Shr stayed quiet through the drive thru before she spoke again "Daddy why do you hate me? Is it because of Jack?"

He grit his teeth and looked at her through the rear view. “You keep asking me that stupid question and you can stay in your room all afternoon by yourself.” He told her, gritting his teeth when she carried on and he reached into the happy meal box he’d got her and threw the fries out the car window. “I said stop it Lily!” He screamed at her as they finally pulled into their parking lot for the building.

carmen stared at him fuming. “Stop! Listen. It’s cardiomyopathy they already told us this why are you not listening?!” She snapped at him, using up the last of her energy and lay back exhausted “If you’re not gonna be here for comfort just go.” She muttered and started falling asleep.

Lily whimpered some and rushed inside once they got into the condo rushing to their room "Mommy! I'm sorry mommy!" She sobbed thinking Jon would be mad at her as well

Max looked over at Jon and frowned some "What happened?" She asked softly getting Lily to move off of the bed and keep her distance

JD frowned more but gave a heavy sigh holding her close and staying quiet for the remainder of his time there until they informed him visitation hours had ended

Angel had been sat by the front window of the living room all day until night until his dad came by to pick them up, staying quiet all the way until he was being tucked into bed. “Daddy... how come mommy isn’t coming home tonight? What’s wrong with her?” He asked him frowning.

Jon glared at them both. “Ask your daughter.” He spat at them and left, heading out for the night, not wanting to be anywhere near that house right now.

JD got the boys home and into bed sighing heavily as he looked at his oldest son "Her heart has a big owie on it buddy. So she has to stay with the doctors so they can make sure she is okay." He explained quietly hoping he would understand

Max frowned as she heard the front door slam and coughed a bit looking over at Lily "Lily.....what happened?" She asked as she started to fall asleep

He frowned and poured up at him. “Is she gonna go to heaven?” He asked him cuddling Jojo close to him as he watched him worrying.

she frowned and started crying again. “I asked daddy why he hates me and he not tell me so I ask more and he threw my fries out the window. I ask if it’s because of Jack.” She whimpered.

JD shook his head some and kissed Angel's forehead "No bud, she isn't going to heaven. She will be okay." He said quietly before he went to his room to get some sleep

Max frowned some and gave a heavy sigh "Don't...bring...up...Jack okay baby? Daddy doesn't hate you.." she whispered before she did her best to get up and try to get Lily calmed down enough to eat

She frowned and watched her mom. “But he don’t let me cuddle him or anything.” She blubbered to her.

Javi was up and down most of the night crying and eventually settled once JD had him in his bed, sleeping through after that but they were all woken up by the phone ringing at 6:30 in the morning

Max nodded some and went to lay on the couch while she sat at the coffee table "I know baby...he just....I don't know whats wrong with him." She admits while running her fingers through her daughter's curly black hair

JD grunted softly when he heard his phone going off. With Javi being up and down all night he had barely slept at all. He answered without looking at the name and ran a hand over his face "Hello?"

“Mr. Pardo? Sorry to bother you this early but your wife has started experiencing some complications in the early hours of this morning and we need you to come down as soon as possible. “ her doctor told him.

Lily snuggled still while she ate her chicken nuggets and had her fruit bag, drinking her milkshake. “Where did he go?” She asked her pouting some and looking just like him.

JD frowned some and quickly got up and dressed. He got the boys in the car and took them to Carmen's brother's plqce before he rushed to the hospital. He asked for her room and frowmed when they told him he would neeed to wait

Max frowned some and looked at the time "I'm not sure....maybe to Grandpa's." She murmured before calling her father

Frank smiled some "Hey there princess, how you feeling? Tony said you've been sick the past few days, you need to go see anyone? I can get you in somewhere in five minutes you know." He assured her. "How's my favorite granddaughter doing?" He asked her. Since Lily had been born he had completely mellowed out and was currently thinking of backing off and retiring, to give the reins over to Tony.

they made him wait half an hour then let him in to see her on a couple more machines than before. "Hey... you gonna listen today?" She questioned him. in pain and miserable being stuck there away from her babies she wasn't in any kind of mood for him to muck about.

Max gave a small smile hearing her father's voice shaking her head some "I'll be oky dad I promise...just a bad cold." She said quietly looking over at Lily "Have you heard or seen Jon? He went to get Lily and then left as soon as he came back." She explained hoping he had seen him

JD followed the nurse into the room and frowned some when he saw a few more machines. He sighed heavily and sat next to her taking her hand in his "I'm here babe, I'm here." He said quietly

She frowned shivering a little and watched him, "Kidneys aren't doing great." she mumbled, "When can I see the boys?" She asked him frowning just wanting to cuddle the boys againnnot be stuck here alone half the time

He frowned shaking his head "No, not a word from him since yesterday afternoon... You know where he went?" He asked her "Did something happen?" He knew Jon hadn't been himself since getting out and he was sympathetic to the fact it was because he'd lost his son but this was starting to get out of hand.

JD frowned some and pulled the blankets over her when he saw her shiver. He sighed some and kissed her hand gently "I'm not sure when you can see them....I can ask a nurse though abd see if your brother can bring them up here." He murmured

Max frowned more and started to really worry "No I don't know where he has gone to. He had to pick up Lily from Tony's because they had a family emergency on Stephanie's side. Lily asked why he hated her and brought up Jack....he got so pissed her threw half of her meal out the window, dropped her off, and left." She explained

Carmen frowned some but nodded and reached for him to come closer. “Can I have some of your human radiator?” She mumbled tiredly. “Don’t shut me out. You’re switching off again and I need you to be present.” She told him quietly.

Throughout the week there was no word from Jon or anyone that had seen him and Frank had every mankeeping an eye out while they were working but there had also been no word from rival mobs to say they had taken him to make a point

Max was getting somewhat better but she was still under the weather. She was scared to death with Jon not being there and having not heard a word from him. Lily was always asking about him and it hurt her even more to think he had truly left them for now. She had reached out to Sarah to see if she had heard anything about him or if he had shown his face but even she knew nothing about where he was.

JD held her close and kissed her lovingly "I'm here babe, I promise I'm here." he said quietly to her cupping her face as he stared at her "Still as gorgeous as the day I walked into your office." he whispered softly to her smiling some

She smiled tiredly at him just leaning into him a little. “Mmm you mean the day you sat on the couch and made angry faces at the floor all session?” She teased him, placing her hand over his.

her phone rang that evening with his number while her and lily were in the middle of dinner and Jon sat on a bed, shaking some as he made the call.

JD chuckled some and gave a nod "Just because I was angry to be there doesn't mean I didn't think you were the most gorgeous woman I had ever laid eyes on." he murmured smiling some "Though when we got married, that day you were breathtaking." he said softly kissing her gently

Max frowned when she heard her phone go off and sighed heavily getting up from the table and grabbing it off the counter. She went wide eyed seeing Jon's name and picture flashing on her phone. She quickly answered and took a deep breath "Jon? Jon where are you?" she asked worriedly just wanting her man home

He frowned some shaking. “Hey... hey, I just... I just called to tell you I love you.” He mumbled, rubbing at his face and shaking some. “And... I’m so sorry... for you and Lilly.... tell her I don’t hate her. Cause I don’t.... there was just... no point in getting close to her.” He whimpered shaking some. “It’s about to get really hard baby and I’m so sorry.” He told her quietly, crying down the line and shaking, hunched over as he sat on the edge of the bed.

She smiled shaking her head. “Only those two days?” She smiled weakly at him, laying back then and just tried to relax into his arms as much as possible. “Can... can you get me a bucket? I think I’m gonna puke.” She mumbled frowning as it came over her suddenly as a wave of nausea.

Max frowned as she listened to him shaking her head some finally hearing the man she fell in love with speaking to her "What are you talking about? Jon baby tell me where you are, I can come get you and we can talk about everything." she explained crying softly when she heard his voice cracking

JD chuckled some shaking his head "You know you're gorgeous every day in my eyes." he said softly to her. He quickly got up and grabbed a trash can for her sitting on the side of the bed so she could have some space if she did get sick

He shook his head. “No we can’t... it’s too late for that.... I’m so sorry.... please, if you remember nothing else, I love you both.” He told her shakily and hung up on her.

she took deep breaths, eventually chucking up a little into the trash can and just held onto his hand tightly until it had faded and she washed her mouth out and lay back again. “Sorry... moon killer huh.” She mumbled tiredly, resting her head against his shoulder once he was sat with her again and she drifted off to sleep

Max frowned more as he hung up and shook her head some calling her father "Dad you have to help! Something is wrong...Jon called and was telling me goodbye, we have to find him now please!" she sobbed down the line needing to know he was safe

JD moved to sit with her once she was okay and smiled happily "Nah its okay." he said quietly before he kissed the top of her head "I love you so much Carmen." he murmured

She mumbled and I love you back to him and nodded off, holding his hand still as her doctor made his way into the room to speak to him. “I got good news and bad news.... good news is she is going to be eligible for the transplant for a kidney and a heart... bad news is that is going to take a while. She’s gonna stay here a few more days but then we’re gonna have a home nurse set up that someone comes to see her once a day or so for a while and then she will have appointments once a week to come in and have dialysis.” He explained to Jorge. “She needs to be careful and she can’t be running around like she usually would but she can go home soon.”

Lily walked into the living room and watched her mom on the phone until she hung up and she went over to her. “Mommy... Dex ate my last chicken nugget.... mommy why are you crying?” She asked her “do you miss daddy?”
