Leo's issues with Georgiana are mostly because of her putting his captain and his commander in danger, but also he has Opinions on the monarchy and they are not exactly favorable. Now that he's already a traitor he doesn't have to worry about treason and stuff so he can SAY those things! To her face, even, if he wanted to!

Rose Knows that he would get into it with her so he really did not want to leave them alone lol. His sister is back in Allaria and he does not want her to wind up as collateral damage because Leo pisses off the wrong royal.

I just have this little scene in my head of Rose eyeing the three under Gigi’s blanket at the end of her watch and then grabbing it and yanking it off them so they end up in a pile of arms and legs and then Rose stalking off and gruffly going, “This is the princess’s.” And I can not stop snickering about it.

Astrid would usually be a bit less blunt and a bit more creative, but this whole alliance thing is stressing her out.

Also I STRAIGHT UP forgot that the Allarians would see Astrid as the equivalent of a princess until Crane mentioned something about it way back when and I was like, "ah crap, Astrid's gonna be ticked"
I did set it up so that Eldergaardians would entirely underestimate Allarian royals, but dang I totally forgot the road goes both ways xD

How dare Gigi bring up something Astrid has been struggling with for over three years. She's been trying to dissociate the realities from the people she cares about, and she is not happy that Georgiana threw it in her face.

I've been trying to keep track of them, and--as someone who has an ACTUAL large family--I'm lost xD

Tbh most of them have been existing in a nebulous and undefined staging area of my mind and have little more than a name and birth order (and sometimes not even that)

Gigi is #7 of 11 children born to the current monarchs. She is the 6th oldest of the remaining 9. She is currently 9th in line to inherit the crown.


1. Theodore- in his early 30s, Crown prince. Married, 1 kid (who is second in line to inherit the crown)


2. Millicent- in her early(ier) 30s. Classic inventor/engineer type. Has technically been engaged for over a decade but her fiance went missing on an expedition and his family won’t declare him dead or call off the engagement, and she’s not calling it off. Loves that single life.


3. Isadora- in her late 20s. Married, 2 kids. Gigi’s favorite living sibling, potentially the force behind making connections with the vampires in the first place and the origin of many of Gigi’s missions? She very much seems to be the perfect wife and mother, but is generally scheming. (Fun fact- She is a very old recycled character who was the model/inspiration for Annabelle!)


4. Unnamed brother- in his mid twenties? Probably married at this point or about to be? He’s mostly here because I wanted Gigi to be the seventh child


5. Fredrick- Would be 24 or 25? Gigi’s favorite sibling. YEP he’s dead


6. Lucille- 22, the worst. Has been formally engaged like, four times but she keeps calling them off because no one is good enough for her obviously.


7. Georgiana- 21. Has been formally engaged twice, but only one of those times was known/public and it ended when she was about 18, mostly due to the Drasiac archduke finding a more politically advantageous match for his son.


8. Sibling who died as a kid idk lol


9 & 10. William and Caroline- twins, 18


11. Charles- 16, family baby

also miko def let me know if you are envisioning something much different for rose and cyn's situation, I was just trying to flush out Gigi's understanding of the inequities in allaria- that she is aware of them and knows its concerning, but she's certainly not well versed

also i dont really know how they should be properly burying vampire-meals so.... offer corrections if needed
