ah sorry I don't have anything specific planned for that!

it was more for character insight than plot development- to show that Delilah is more interested in science for the sake of it, rather than the application (ethical or logistical)

She was tasked to look into ways vampires under military command might /stop/ being under military command, and boiling their blood inside their veins with a certain high-pitched radio frequency (or whatever it was she was poking at, idk, again I really had nothing particular in mind there) would kill them, sure BUT they would no longer be under military command so??? isnt that a win of its own sort?

I like Delilah--she is another chaos agent. I love how she's like, "don't bother me with the particulars or practicality! it's science!" Like what was she even going to do with the silver colloid. Georgiana has to come into her lab and be logical like a jerk, yeesh.

Lucia was definitely like, "they ain’t my kids, go for it"

Side note: once Astrid realizes that people born in Eldergaard can also do science, she's going to be so excited

I have half a mind to have Astrid find the lab tomorrow and be like the annoying little kid poking things and being like, "what's this do!!"

God Rose is going to be SO exhausted because Astrid loves asking questions and Cyn loves ANSWERING questions so together they’d be unstoppable. Rose would be like ‘cyn you’ve been lecturing on the possibilities of solar power versus steam and hybrid engines for over an hour I’m sure Astrid has other things to do’ but Cyn is just like ‘ugh no rose I haven’t gotten to that part yet first I have to explain how solar and steam power work and the basic physics and the math and—‘ and Leo groans loudly because as long as somebody is interested he WILL NOT stop

But Astrid will be SO EXCITED because FINALLY someone is answering her questions without being cagey or telling her science is a dangerous device of the enemy and SHUSH Cyn is just getting to the good part she is trying to listen!

Cyn is so used to only people highly involved in his field having any interest at all in what he’s talking about that he LOVES it when he has a chance to explain things to somebody who isn’t already an expert. He loves teaching people about his passions but Rose does NOT want him explaining classified research to an enemy captain.

Astrid will be sneaking into Cyn's room when Rose is not there with a bottle of wine and TONS of questions about science!

Oh man when he learns she doesn’t really know much about it he is going to be DELIGHTED. He is going to rush her to the kitchen for some vinegar and baking soda so they can make a cup volcano.

I imagine delilah handed them cups and was like 'okay, fill this one with blood, this one with salivia, this one with urine- Probably the blood samples are going to most useful, I might need more but lets start with this, I'll give you a few days to return them to me. Also do you have any corpses? that would be really useful, if I could see some brain matter..."

And when greeted with just silence she was like '... Okay you can have a week to fill them? Damn yall dont hydrate enough i guess...'
