Oof, I’m sorry. This week (last week technically) has been really inactive for me because I’ve had a lot going on. Next week I’ll be offline too, but I do plan on making a post before then.

Yup, don't wait on anyone else just jump in.I didn’t want to jump on before everyone else cause I haven’t typed with you guys yet. I wanted to kinda see flow, but if it would help I can post sometime today!
Yeah the deadline is nearing and a purge may be coming soon.Oof, I’m sorry. This week (last week technically) has been really inactive for me because I’ve had a lot going on. Next week I’ll be offline too, but I do plan on making a post before then.

The CurseGatzby was cursed by a witch doctor. The witch doctor took away his vocal cords and replaced them with a mockingbirds. Allowing Gatzby to copy ANY type of sound that he hears from a cannon, to a pirate, to maybe even some drunk yelling about seeing a mermaid. What ever the sound is and as long as he hears it clearly he's able to copy it perfectly. The second terrible deed the witch doctor did was bound Gatzby to a voodoo doll. This allows Gatzby unable to feel any pain or any feeling for that matter. Since Gatzby is bound to a doll it will take the damage for him and vice versa if the doll were damaged. Curse this Curse!Since the witch doctor took his original vocal cords Gatzby can't actually speak. He is limited to what he hears unable to edit it to form sentences. Hence why he brings a notebook, quill, and ink with him to communicate. But even then he gets bothered by it and just portrays what he's saying via facial expressions or sounds he mimicked. The witch doctor might have also made Gatzby unable to feel pain on his physical body but that doesn’t mean he’s invulnerable. So if he sustains any injuries then he won’t know before it’s too late. The only thing Gatzby can feel is whatever happens to the doll. He may also be manipulated via voodoo without the doll but this only controls his motor functions instead of Gatzby itself.
This needs to limitations to it. If he can become as sharp as a sword then he could slice people with just his pinky. I would say to perhaps focus this more on a weapon than himself. Like he can manipulate and change one inanimate object into another that is similar. Like a metal cannon ball into a metal sword. A wooden oar into a staff. So long as he is touching it. So if he changed a cannon ball into a sword and let go it would revert back and crush whoever's toes it lands on.Mockingbird’s mimicGatzby is able to copy one aspect of anything inanimate. Whether it’s how hard a cannon ball is, the heat of coal, or the sharpness of a sword. Mimic is a gimmickAlthough Gatzby can copy one aspect of anything inanimate he also gains those weaknesses. If he’s as hard as a cannon ball then he sinks very easily, if he’s as hot coal then water will weaken him, if he’s as sharp as a sword then a guess anything that touches him will be cut. He also can only copy one inanimate thing at a time.
I’m sorry. I had about three drafts of Gatzby and must have forgotten to delete the first part on the doll taking damage for him. So would you like the doll to be the only thing he feels or no?Reytian Okay here comes the review XD
I'm confused here a bit on the damage aspect of the curse. I get the no-pain thing but the damage part is odd. It says the doll will take his damage, but that he isn't invulnerable because he can still be injured but won't know it. That sort of contradict's that the doll takes the damage. Additionally, I would say pass on the doll taking damage part because that would be a type of invulnerability because then the only way to harm him would be via the doll he holds. A bit like Naraku from Inuyasha: Who had taken out his mortal heard so he basically couldn't truly be killed unless the heart was destroyed.

My GM side is waving a red flag that this ability could get out of hand if abused. "I take on metal so now I am like Colossus from Marvel and only the stronk can stop me!" "I take on the power of this mighty relic and become a God!" I just have concerns. X3
I hadn't approved your CS yet, so you really shouldn't have posted in the IC. >_>;; Not until I put your name on the crew list with everyone else...I’m sorry. I had about three drafts of Gatzby and must have forgotten to delete the first part on the doll taking damage for him. So would you like the doll to be the only thing he feels or no?
As for the mimic ability sure I found it difficult to actually use because if he was for example as sharp as a sword then he would probably slice his clothes, floor, walls, or anything else that he touches. I originally wanted to have him redirect offensive magical abilities but only those he can see and one at a time instead of multiple. But thought it was too close to power copy which is on the “no” list. Either way mimic will get changed so don’t worry
Most likely more an assistant.Fable I wasn’t sure if I should PM you, or just talk here, but from your past conversations of wanting to talk here I just assumed.
Due to Pandora’s past in stealing medicine and having to know what to take, and how to improvise should something go wrong, would she be eligible for the Surgeon (Or assistant) role?
Probs too [in]experienced for the Surgeon role, gotta slice people for that, slice them for health, lol.Alright, could I claim that role then? Or is she too inexperienced.
It happens XD Just let me know when you do any edits and are ready for me to look again.Oh man, I’m so sorry Fable , I didn’t mean to mess with the lore at all X( I’ll go get rid of that.
Still, perhaps her obsessive investigation will bear fruit someday. Until then, they do make some really nice paperweights!
Unbeknownst to himself, Theace has invested a King's sum into tracking the errant boy down; the books stolen from his high-ranked father were beyond heresy, but ancient and forbidden spelltomes the man was charged with destroying over two decades ago.
