Rather than this get buried in the Discord chat I'll post this here. While I had many reply in Discord they were still interested in this RP, based on the amount of current players actually replying it doesn't actually seem that way. As of this last round only 4 out of 12 have posted (more like 11 this round as one player has sent me a DM about being unable to post this round and they are usually consistent).

So, for those who haven't replied yet, is it because of school starting? Bored of the RP? Want more action over lore and exploration?

At the rate of posts - I won't lie - it throws me in that GM pit of "shut it down" since it feels most players have lost interest. :\

I'm fine with honesty. If you are no longer interested that is perfectly fine. If you are, great! If you simply don't have the time, let me know.

For me I’m still interested but student teaching started for me and I still have a class on top of that. I’m naturally a late sleeper so adjusting to waking up at 5:30am and leaving at 4:15 then doing assignments is hitting hard. Once I get a sechance schedule or in the groove of things I’ll be fine hopefully

I really am still interested. I mean, this is the first rp I've been able to really actively write for in years. Really, the main reason why I haven't posted anything is because I'm just unsure of what to do with Placide.

I love the rp, but I'm a bit tied in interaction and waiting for the other to post. But I still want in and am excited to get along with everyone else

After a few weeks of the replies dwindling, with fewer each round, I've decided to close the RP down. I will try and find a way to make things fall under a more episodic system rather than continuous as I find group RPs set up in this manner overall do much better. I'm not sure how long this will take for me to organize or to get the motivation to since having no replies is a bit of a GM motivation killer itself.

If the RP eventually gets back up for a new attempt I'll tag you guys. Thanks for those who persevered with me for this long and I'm sorry for lacking as a GM in maintaining interest. My first time writing for a pirate themed RP so there is perhaps some other elements I will change up as well (such as roles).
