Going off page 216 of the handbook, which says "Without an Intimacy to support your influence roll, you can only convince others to take relatively trivial and risk-free actions — begging a coin from a passing stranger is about the limit." Am assuming that not picking a fight with a daiklave-wielding Essence user falls into that category.

Unless it has the Psyche keyword it can't be unnatural influence. UMI isn't really a thing in 3e. I think Sherwood is just saying she has really high Resolve and some great Integrity Charms.

Plus she can always spend WP to resist given you're instilling a minor.
