We got a good report from the vet, thank god. He's likely been having a reaction to his medicine for cushing's disease, and the vet thinks he can make a speedy recovery. We were scared he had a stroke.

In other news, I've posted my character up. She's still incomplete, but I wanted to check what you lot all think of her so far.

Are your health levels right? You should have two of the free Ox-Body Techniques from your Charms

Edit: Yes, it appears correct. The first Ox-Body gives me an extra 0 health level, the second gives me an extra -1 health level and two extra -2 health levels.

Hey Sherwood . I'm fine with the intro post you gave me. And don't worry about overlooking my Hearthstone; I was in bed during that time.

One suggestion I have, in addition to the reasons you gave Annika for travelling to Gwynnin, is that perhaps Aysik or Dunbar could have instructed/advised her to go there and join the others? That would give Annika more reason to go to Gwynnin, rather than a bigger and perhaps more prosperous city, and also made it a bit easier for the other solars to accept her into their ranks, if they had a mutual friend.

Also, do I start with additional exp, or not? The phrasing wasn't entirely clear.

You start with the full xp that everyone has so far. Off the top of my head, I think its 28, but I might be off by a point or two.

No, the others are not in the Cult at the moment.

And we can go ahead and have Aysik be the one to steer you towards Gwynnin. It is somewhat cliché to have everyone friends of someone else, but I don't want a fight IC between players because that's how their characters would respond to a strange Solar showing up out of the blue.

Just so you know, I changed the intro post for Annika to show that she's a friend of Aysik, and he's the one that suggested you come to Gwynnin.

Calibration starts tomorrow, and at the end of the week is the ceremony.

Alright, fixed. Since Darian is planning for the ceremony at the Sun's Zenith, looks like it'll be first of the new year with the 5 days of Calibration for preliminary festivals and final preparation.

EDIT: Not really savvy enough to make a sketch look good with software at this point, but I found a really good match for what I was goin for with the character finally.

Gonna try and find time this week to expand on the reference document. Current pet projects rolling around in my head are...

• The Emerald Library (A repository of stored memories intended for learning/experiencing things, AKA the vault of Exalted YouTube. An ambitious project to prepare for resurrecting use of I AM Kwops this would be a good time to elaborate how you'd wanna handle high academics and teaching.)
• The Trade Guilds (What trade guilds we currently have chartered, how they work together, and what I'd expect some of their ambitions to be. Physicians is gonna be a big one, along with Plumbers)
• Military Tradition (Hierarchies, encouraged culture of soldiers, guards, and spies, how the agents of the Lord Shade will be expected to work with the Marshal's office in cooperation. etc. jaydude looks like this will mostly pertain to you)
• Lord Architect's Pipeline of Ambition (A prioritized queue of infrastructural projects. Really gonna need your feedback on this MasterDAF )
• Imperial Traditions of the Faith (If you have any ideas Psychie it's more than I currently have =P I do know we need some sort of structure to prevent dark cults from cropping up)
