Fantasy Trapped.

Dexter could barely hear anything, but vaguely, he recognized his name amongst all the white noise. He raised his head slightly, even though the thought of doing so was horrible at best. But instead of a threat, he instead could make out the blurry figure of someone. They came closer, and he realised that it was Blair. He opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't speak, even if he'd had the words to.

Blair could tell that Dexter was aware of her presence but knew that, in his current state, he had no way to communicate with her. She sat in front of him and gently took one of his hands in her own, closing her eyes and sending him peaceful thoughts, willing his breathing to slow down and his heart rate to return to normal.

She pictured a clearing, surrounded by trees, a small pond in the middle. A gentle breeze caused the leaves to rustle, and birds sang to each other from their nests. She and Dexter were sitting by the side of the pond, gazing at the fish as they swam around in their watery home.

Blair imagined the image flowing out of her mind and in to Dexter's. She had never concentrated so hard in her life.

Everything was fuzzy and too loud in Dex's mind, and he was too numb in the limbs to notice that his hand had been taken in Blair's. It continued being too loud, too fuzzy, too awake - until there was peace.

Dexter felt his chest relax; his lungs were finally semifunctional again. His heart had ceased beating inside his ears. Now, all that he heard was birds. Whether they were real or imagined he wasn't sure, but the relief he felt was definitely real. After a few minutes he relaxed back into a more comfortable headspace. He was still shaky, but it was manageable. He looked up at Blair, knowing that it must have taken an insane amount of energy to send such powerful images, and once again couldn't say a word.

After what seemed like hours but was probably only seconds, Blair heard Dexter's breathing slow and opened her eyes to smile at him only to have an immense tiredness overcome her. She blinked and shook her head, hoping to rid herself of her dizziness, but it was no use. She slumped over as her eyesight blurred and faded to black.

Dex weakly returned Blair's smile, then it dropped from his face when she collapsed backwards. Luckily, it didn't seem like she had been injured, but he was still concerned for her safety. Instead of trying to wake her up, which wouldn't achieve anything, he took her feet and rested them on his knees. He needed the blood to go to her head if she was going to be able to function. He smiled faintly at her again while she lay there, thankful to have someone there who could actually help him in crises that wouldn't blow up - figuratively or literally.

She glared at him jokingly. "That wasn't me..." She stood up and began running once more. She loved the way her chest stung as air flowed in and out.

*Ran after her* Hey wait hahaha you gotta admit it was pretty funny.You could probley tell couldn't you. *Still jogging next to her* So what are we gunna do today . I'm guessing the same as always.

She continued running. "I guess so. What do you mean? It's still our first day." Her heart raced faster and she closed her eyes. She felt like she was flying.

He looked at her and smiled* I mean when we get bored what are we suppose to do. I mean I dont stick with one thing very long and I'm pretty energetic. Were could play basketball more.

"We could, but I'd prefer to run right now. It really helps, actually." Her eyes fluttered open just in time for her to turn the corner. She continued running, and was focusing her energy into her footsteps. Her eyes narrowed at one point in the wall in front of her and her speed increased dramatically. Right as she turned the next corner, the spot on the wall had built up enough energy for a tiny area to combust. She didn't notice, as she had already turned the corner.

*Hiro ran faster to keep up * Soo I still think you can destroy stuff with your eyes but what do I know. It would really help to hone your skills. When we figure out your power ill help you train.

She slowed. "What do you mean? I couldn't do it earlier." She turned around to see the wall aflame. She ran over to it and started hitting the wall trying to put the flame out, only burning her hands. "Ah!! Quick get some water!" The flame had spread up the wall and now took up a big section.

Hiro looked and the fire and slowly killed the flames * Its ok i control fire I just don't create it. Wait, you made that fire by staring at the wall? Maybe, ok stare at me and we will see.

She watched the fire die. "Oh, right." She held her hands tightly together. "Not right now, I need to run my hands under cold water." She ran out of the gym to the sink in the bathroom upstairs. She closed the door and locked it behind her. As soon as she was isolated, tears began to run down her cheeks. There was a large black mark on the wall, that she had caused, and she could've burned the whole place down. She turned on the faucet and let her hands run under the cold water. The way the droplets fell across her hands felt magical. She wondered how many times she would burn herself before she conquered her power.

Oh yea, that would be the best for burns. *Smiles at her.* Ya know if you find out what you were thinking about you might be able to find your power. So what were you thinking about while looking at the wall. ( sorry never got a notification)

So what do you think do you wanna give it another try before the numbers burn? Are you ok? How bad are the burns?* as he thought to himself " danm this is my fault if I were to put out the fire after she wouldn't have burned herself."*

Are you sure? Those things can be pretty bad.* Then he started thinking to him self" Danm I don't know how I'm going to deal with this. Are we gunna get out? How many of us are going to get out. I hope everybody dose I don't think I could stand loosing anybody."*

Rey looked to the hallway, thinking. "I'm not sure . . ." she replied, leaning back on the wall. She grabbed the blanket and threw it beside her bed. "Only the people who put us here," she said, "or those who attack me." She clasped her hands together and sighed. "Would you?" she asked Kaiden.

Dexter glanced around anxiously, not sure what he was supposed to do. Blair was collapsed on the floor, and despite his tries to get the blood flowing back to her head, she showed no sign of response. "Jesus, Blair, you can't do this. Wake up," he mumbled over and over again, barely audible in the empty room.

@Seraphina Valentine

Blair awoke with a gasp, sitting up straight as her foot connected with Dexter's face. "Oh, god, I am so sorry," she apologized, crossing her legs underneath her as she checked his nose to make sure she hadn't hurt him too badly.

@Kasper

(Sorry, I'm on vacation and the internet here sucks)

Dex was awakened from his train of thoughts to Blair's foot and sound of his nose cracking. He shook his head, willing himself to comprehend what had just happened. Once he realised that she had kicked him in the face, he looked down at her with a bit of betrayal in his eyes and felt at his nose. It was tender, and there was a slight trickle of red when he examined his hand. His breath quickened. "Oh my god, Jesus Christ. Shit." It wasn't really that bad at all, but the sight of blood made his head spin.

@Seraphina Valentine

"Hey, hey, it's alright, it's just a scratch..." Her lie was ineffective, and his nose began to bleed. Great, Blair, help the guy through a panic attack and then break his nose. That's talent. She looked around her as if expecting a cloth or bandages to just appear, but, as expected, the room remained empty other than the two of them. She glanced down at her shirt and rolled her eyes, grabbing the edge of the fabric and, after a bit of struggle, tore off a small portion of the white material. "Just focus on me, ok? Think about something else, I don't want you to faint on me. It's gonna be just fine, Dexter." Her British accent grew thicker as she became more distressed. Taking deep breaths to calm herself down, she gently applied the cloth to his wound, dabbing it at first. "This is gonna hurt a little, but I need to know if it's broken," she warned before carefully pressing on his nose. She wasn't exactly sure how she knew to do this, but it came to her naturally. Perhaps I knew a doctor before I was kidnapped, she theorized, then told herself that now was not the time. Thankfully, it was definitely not broken, though it would probably be sore for a couple days. Blair still felt awful about it and apologized profusely as she continued to dab the blood that was still trickling down his face.

@Kasper

Dex muttered his thanks to Blair for her help, as much as it hurt his dignity to do so. He grasped the bridge of his nose to stop the bleeding, waving away Blair's hand as politely as possible. He breathed in deeply through his mouth and when he exhaled, he could feel the negativity dissipating in the air.

"Alright," he said, standing up. He swayed for a moment in a sudden flash of dizziness. It soon passed, and he gestured for Blair to join him. "Thanks, again. I'm going to go down to the cafeteria. I'm actually starving. Do what you want, I don't care. You can come with or do your own thing."
