Felix kept his grin. His smooth velvet baritone continues

“Listen Jazz when I step into the room, everything bends to the will of me, to think you or I is bothered by the cameras and bugs in his room?
don’t be silly.”

Felix kicked up his white dress shoes onto the table as he sat in a magical form of the wardens chair.

“You have the brain power to know I’m not on the payroll per say,
i guess you could say making deals is the light of my day
indeed I’m no person convicted of a crime
i just enjoy bargaining with those doing hard time

But I’m exactly what you need all you have to do is say yes
And when the time comes I’ll provide a shadow for your mess
help in the form of a magical shove

That no one else can match. What’s more to love?”

In a instant the table was gone and Felix stood infront of Jasper.
“Your gold mine is more fools gold, unless you gather a crew of inmates bold
The type who can take orders and show trust
And I personally know someone whose got burning rage and lust
His precious pet was killed in cold sweat
Your newest pet is under a microscope
Is she a snitch?”

He shrugged playfully
“She’s not. You hope
Anyway I won’t hurt you, I just want to see some fun,
say yes and take my hand, you will be free in the sun...”

Felix had his smile and deep brown eyes glued to jaspers face.

Jason was soon doing his rounds now that prisoners were going to their work.
Charlotte the second rattled off in his ear and he nodded in agreement not particularly paying attention. Taking a sip and walking along, Charlotte started to name a inmate who had a concealed weapon.
Jason was amazed. How did this one get a handgun?
Quickly Jason was beside the line jamming the suspect into the wall.
The inmate made a quick struggle but it ended with a elbow in his throat.
Jason sipped his mug and slammed it across the inmates face before jamming it on top of his head.
As he slid to the floor Jason reached behind the inmates uniform to pull out a guards handgun that had been wrapped to his body with cloth and toilet paper.

This one acquired the weapon from a Mr. Tomas Kelly when the first lockdown was issued today. Harold Derk used the opportunity to steal the guards weapon in the noise as a search happened in his room.
“Thanks Charlotte”
Jason said with half a sigh.
The no named guard who was escorting this group was in shock.
“Whose Charlotte? More importantly how did you know he had a gun?”

“It was stolen of Kelly.” Jason says and quickly lies as Charlotte spoke again
The serial number on it is 2877132B
“The serial number on it is 2877132B”

Your crazy with the details mugger” one guard mentions as he rifle buts a inmate in the back to get the line moving again.
The inmate with a gun, Harold derk was taken to solitary confinement for questioning on how he got the gun. Not that anyone would believe Jason and his magic coffee mug.

The magic from this Felix figure continued with more rhyming, and even the table vanishing in place of the mystical man himself. Jasper was quite amused by the man's rhetoric, not just because of playful rhymes, but the wording he'd used too. He spent the time reading between each line he'd been told, trying to figure out what secrets Felix was unfolding. Some were much clearer than others, but he did manage to piece together a few things...

Cameras were officially no longer a problem. He seemed to bend the order of things in his favor, and a way that could also be Jasper's order, too.

He's not a convict, but rather a bargain master. Deals would be made. Ones Jasper knew he had to make cautiously. He felt like he'd rubbed a lamb and a genie had emerged. And genies can be dangerously deceiving. The mind reader preferred caution... but how could he pass up a man who'd literally walked up to him and offered up his services like this? He'd be far more useful than a vicious, capricious shapeshifter that had already landed herself in solitary.

Speaking of which... Felix hinted to a partner of Jasper's who he feared would betray him... but she didn't. The only partner he'd brought on board so far was Silver, and she was in solitary, being punished... but clearly, the Warden didn't find his map. Perfect... so maybe, Silver could stay on board.

Felix spoke about a team... and someone he could trust on board, someone who's lost a loved one. Jasper was... honestly confused about it at first, still unaware of Zorra's death. But perhaps he could follow along and see. Jasper felt like his fate was being unfolded before him in cryptic hints that he had to decipher or just wait to see how they are presented in reality.

Now, the million dollar question: Are you in, Jasper?

He gulped, stepping forward to the edge of his spotlight... then he reciprocated a smile. "Consider yourself hired. We'll take the road to freedom together, and with others that I shall assemble. I have my plans... and I shall call upon you during my work hours when the Warden isn't here whenever I require your services. I do ask though... who is this person you speak of... that lost their partner in... a cold sweat? Or... Perhaps I'll find out in due time. You have yourself a partnership."

It was almost a relief when the headphones were put back in place and silence reigned once more . But that only gave the Shifter a chance to think over what was said. The dainty little bracelet had been annoying enough, but a collar? It was like they truly thought of her as animal . Worse than that, even. A pet. A harmless, obedient creature happy to be paraded around on a leash and follow whatever orders it's human masters gave it. She snarled quietly , feeling the familiar rush of anger overtaking reason . She didn't know if the man who had tortured her was even close enough to hear her but she had to say something . So the albino took a deep breath then yelled "Actually I'm not sorry at all ! It was that guards own fault that he died! He deserved death and so do you! All of you stupid, stinking guards do, and I'm glad I managed to kill one of you!" Angry tears stung red eyes , but she held them back , determined not to show weakness.

|:| Warden Edward Brookes |:|

Catching Silver's voice as he shut the door behind him, not that far away, the Warden frowned. Hadn't learned a thing after he'd verbally shamed her, maimed her, and gave a more or less real threat? If push comes to shove and he sees her in solitary again, he might just freeze and snap her neck as he discussed. But just a few uncivilized words wasn't enough to justify his own corrupt moral compass. But that did call for a slight retaliation. He glanced down at the air vent into the cell and knew exactly what he could do. He looked back and forth in the empty hall, then knelt down by the vent, without even opening it, and let out a long, heavy exhale directly into the vent. The air he'd let out could easily be seen from how cold it was. Silver's isolated cell was about to become bitter cold with that breath of cold air. She'd shiver in her place and her energy would be drained quickly, as if she were sitting in a meet locker. Without giving her any more attention, he ensured the cell door was secured shut and stepped away to the next prisoner.

Calamitas was next. Conveniently, her cell was adjacent to Silver's, so travel wasn't an issue. He applied the same security measure of a palm scan at her cell door and awaited the clicking noise of approval. Once he got it, he slid the door aside and allowed himself entry to find her secured similarly to her neighbor. She, in the Warden's opinion, was a greater threat than Silver, having more dangerous crimes on her belt. Therefore, her getting out of restraints was more risky. But in this room, he feared nothing. He stepped closer, prepared to give her a very similar lecture to Silver, although tailored to her situation.

He stepped closer and withdrew the headphones from her ears so she could hear. "So... you have quite an impressive record, Miss Calamitas," he began, unsure of a proper last name, as the only name on her record was just 'Calamitas.' "You must find yourself on top of the world with abilities like this. It's a shame you got caught eventually. Or actually... it just shows how careless you'd become to finally get caught. And to think you can redeem yourself by trying to break out? Did you think you could do that so... easily?"

At this point his hands were over her arm, very similarly to what he'd done to Silver, twisted, and unleashed a frosty fury onto her body. "If you think we can only deprive you of basic senses, you're wrong. We can do whatever we'd like to you. Hold the pose for a bit longer, Mitch." Once more, he gave the illusion that these weren't his powers used to inflict torture, but rather a treatment from a guard. "We can make you suffer. Trust me. You're in my house now, witch. Don't test the king."

Pisha

The chill would even make Pisha shiver, the cold room now empty again. Instead of risking more exposure the demon would speak directly into her consciousness, possession having some added bonuses of communication after all.

"You are really stupid, you know that that right? Talking like you own the place is a sure fire way to get killed... well that and killing guards. I would HATE to leave you right now, but then again I never leave truly. I am like the worst fucking fairy godmother you will ever have, and that goes for everyone. The warden may own the place, but you are all my play things~"

The demon would grab Silver's heart, squeezing it a bit to cause them to get the message before releasing it and then jumping out of her body to dissipate into shadows. Next visit? Well, Pisha could tell someone else was in Calamitis' room, so the demon would visit the next cellmate... Zorra. The demon began to appear in her room as they were thinking to themselves.

Honestly, that cat was no fun, maybe the sex-crazed snake will....... oh. Well, damn it.

They looked at the remaining frozen chunks of the body, a slight frown on their face as they felt their fun was ruined.

Welp... waste not! Or something like that.

The demon's chest and clothing opened vertically to expose teeth, black ooze leaking out and grabbing shards and chunks into it as it consumes what was left of the snake. Before even a minute passed the room was just a cold cell, the demon's clothing and body shut again. Once that was done the demon would dissipate, settling into the vents and shadows of the prison itself, shifting it's consciousness around to scout for fun.

The drider would wake up, looking around to find them chained to their bed with a guard watching them, and it was not the nice guard from before.

"So the heavy bitch is up, time to get up since you took a few hours worth of a nap. Come on." The guard unlocked her restraints, letting her extend her legs and get off the large bed they had made out of two beds for her.

At least the nurses were nice to me.....or at least they made a bed for me.

The snake was ushered into the hallway, pushed back and onward to the courtyard as the snake prepared to pick up the wood in her mitten-covered hands and try to follow instructions in the small courtyard. This, all the while the guard smoked and watched her with unease. The only saving grace was the nurses put her hair up, or so she assumed, so it looked rather nice in two large buns rather than a long mess.

I definitely preferred Sam watching me, it didn't put me on edge...

"I'm not stupid...I just..." Silver mumbled, then lost her train of thought as the cold hit her.

The Shifter shivered in the room, with no way of knowing how much longer she would be forced to endure the freezing cold. Her breathing and pulse rate slowed right down, and she was struggling to stay awake as the energy drained from her body. She always suffered in the cold, but normally she could Shift into an animal with a furry coat built for surviving arctic climes. Like this, she was weak and helpless, her slender form trembling. At this point, even if she was released of her inhibitor and the restraints, she wouldn't be able to do much more than curl up on the floor and sleep. But that would probably be the worst thing she could do. It didn't help that the prison uniform was made of thin fabric, not made to be worn or long periods of time outside. Finally, red eyes closed, and despite the uncomfortable position, Silver gave into the exhaustion of the day.

|:| Warden Edward Brookes |:|

With a sour look on his face, aware of the failures of the staff this morning, Brookes took advantage of the fact this inmate had a blindfold on and released his feelings of rage, hostility, and, oddly enough, failure, through his facial expressions. The cause? Overloading. He recalled the warnings that overcrowding Thesta Penn would be the equivalent of opening Pandora's box, but he brushed it off, assuming that none of the staff responsible for inhibitors would slack in the new, high demand for hardware. Alas, they did, and that issue would be addressed in his coming words.

But a friend coming to get her... He sighed, knowing that'd be heard by Calamitas, but not minding too much. "No one is coming to get you," he spoke, releasing her first arm and reaching for her other one. "Like I said, my house. And though you will only be here for a few more hours with freezer burns and more sensory deprivation to disorient you, when you get released in the afternoon, you will have a stronger inhibitor that will ensure you cannot break through and attempt another stunt like that. Because I swear to you..." He twisted his wrists in opposite directions while emitting the chill from his body into hers. "If you even try to escape again, you will be caught. And when you are back here... this icy patch you've got on your arms?" He twisted a bit harder, letting out a devilish chuckle from a single breath. "We will wrap it around your neck and snap every organ you have in there. You think being cursed sucks? How about living like a literal vegetable? Because I will make sure that happens if you dare repeat a stunt like that."

The Warden spent a few more seconds twisting and freezing before releasing her and stepping away, a chilly breath let out into Calamitas' face. "Just know that good behavior is in your best interest. Because you may not have faith in the prison personnel doing anything... but I will. And you don't want to test me on that." He reached forward one more time for the headphones to secure them over her ears once more. "Have a nice stay, Miss Calamitas."

He placed the headphones over her ears and released. With his work complete, he stepped away from the prisoner and out of the cell, securing it shut behind her, taking his sweet time to hear if she shouts back at him, much like he'd done for Silver.

One prisoner dead, two tortured.... this was the first show of force utilizing his powers Edward had exhibited towards inmates in the prison. And it certainly wouldn't be his last.

2:00 PM - The Prison Yard
|:| Jasper Bent |:|

Working for a high-rise man of honor like the Warden was a blast from the past and a seat right at home for a young man like Jasper who worked in such a prestigious position before. Even if what he was doing was mindless paperwork guided by his master, it certainly beat his last position on janitorial duty scrubbing toilets and the black substance sent by Pisha whenever severe security breeches were in play. This job served to be more peaceful, more intellectually-engaging... more profitable. The office of the man in charge was his for the taking, with security cameras no longer a problem. He could safely browse and examine the room so long as he maintains the trust of the big guy. And judging by their conversation when he returned from solitary? Brookes was fond of his new assistant. A true professional who understood concepts of politics and business, and could even relate to many of the executive decisions taken in the prison. The Warden seemed truly impressed with this prisoner, and even went as far as to admit it. The stone cold man feared by all who's gone as far as to murder an inmate behind closed doors... now showing admiration to another. Jasper couldn't ask for more...

And yet he got more. A deal with the devil, though dressed in a rather pleasing form, with a promise to assist him and others. Felix spoke of many riddles and hints about where the mind reader's escape plan will go. Some of those were vague, but it all starts with a team. All he could think of people to join in this venture were his cellmate and the shifter who'd been thrown into solitary. According to Felix, she wasn't found, and judging by no third lockdown, Alice was safe, too. He'd have to approach them both about this. A girl who controls electricity with another who can transform into animals... Anything helps.

...What was the catch to Felix's work, though? Jasper continued to ponder over that as he exited the main building for Thesta Penn and into the yard. The region of Thesta was a naturally cold one, so the outside was bitter cold - in the single digits Celsius - so some inmates had some appropriate clothing for that. Jasper had a prison-issued beanie and gloves. Others had similarly appointed jackets, but he refused to buy one. The cold weather made keeping warm a necessity, since they weren't allowed to go inside unless the weather was truly disastrous - cold weather didn't quite fit that. Some inmates would take a jog. Jasper kept himself near one of the heating exhausts from the central heating inside the prison. It wasn't too bad, and it gave him a wonderful view of most of the yard and the overwatching security posts around the outside of the gates. A perfect place to scheme, plan, sketch.. all the likes.

But today was a bit different. Jasper's eyes were focused on the entrance. He was early due to being let off by the Warden a few minutes in advance. Something about a staff meeting. So the only guards out here would be the smaller-scale ones. None of the head-honchos like Val or Calder, fortunately. Being there early, he would get to see the other inmates come back from their jobs and into the yard for this little recess. He overheard a call from the Warden to release the recent violators. That was three: Zorra, Calamitas, Silver.

Jasper needed to meet up with Silver, see if she had been searched and if his sketch had been found. Meeting up with Alice would've been great too, just to let them both in on his plan. They were all somewhat friendly, after all. And neither would object or hold his plan against him anyway.

And all he had to do was sit by the warmth of the exhaust and keep his cool, trying to find the shifter from the doubled crowd of crooks.

2:00 PM - The Warden's Office
|:| Warden Edward Brookes |:|

As ordered, the Warden had assembled his most trustworthy into his office to address the recent issues with the institution. This morning was certainly not what the staff had expected, especially with a smooth transition just the previous night. No inmate even complained when the newcomers were introduced and a buddy system was implemented for cells. No uproar, no lockdowns, no issues, as addressed by Valka. It wasn't until day 2 that misbehavior and chaos had become an issue. Not only that, but through this first uprising, the Warden started a war that may or may not cost him in the future. Not to mention the blood on his hands, and the incidents of torture he'd ordered, at least as the two inmates assumed. He secret was slowly creeping out, and he had to proceed cautiously if he wanted to continue to pursue a vendetta with Cahone. He was an unsecured, uninhibited inmate - an issue he planned to change - and he'd certainly be melted if he's discovered and the fiery inmate gets the drop on him.

But enough of his dirty laundry. He'd assembled his finest for a meeting to address future changes... and to offer a few stern words to them as well, whether they could do anything or not. Two lockdowns and dead guards was unacceptable. The guards stood up in the Warden's rectangular, cold office while the man in charge stood behind the desk, anger evident on his face. A change from the relaxed look he had when Jasper was here. But these guards needed to be straightened up, because this was just the beginning.

"I have to say..." he sighed. "I knew this task wouldn't be simple. I knew we'd have issues, possibly a riot, a few unruly souls that'd go to solitary... but what I did NOT expect..." His voice began to go up, giving an even stretch of death glares indiscriminately to the guards in the room. He knew some had very little to do with either lockdown, but for the future, it was this elite lot that'd need to enforce the rules around here. "...was that we'd have a makeout session in the cafeteria with a lazy-to-respond lockdown response, then, not one, but TWO inmates breaking from their inhibitors, maiming and killing guards, and running amok. I hope none of you find this acceptable, or something a prison like this, overloaded as is, can afford. Because NO. We cannot afford this. I do understand we have some issues restraining some inmates, but that is being settled with R&D, and as of tomorrow at latest, we will not have a single unrestrained inmate here. The two inmates who broke out are getting new, stronger restraints that will not allow for this in the future. They both talk a large game, but I am sure they're not breakable. But we let our guard down after a squeaky clean day one. That, we shall no longer tolerate. And if we need to go to lockdown number three today, it'll be your asses on the line. I don't want to have to report a third one to the board. I already had to take a bullet for you all for two."

Edward cleared his throat and stepped around his desk to face the men and women who serve his prison so loyally. "So tell me..." he continued, "What went wrong today? Why did nobody stop Miss Maldavo and Mister Pyrite from their little makeout session in the bright and early? Why did Miss Felis and Miss Calamitas find it appropriate to rebel this morning? And why did both of them manage to do damage to property, and to me. Hm? I'd like an answer. I've already covered your... sorry, our failure before our meeting. But I just want an explanation. And a plan for how this will no longer happen. How we will stop rebellions like this from happening again... I'm open to your suggestions."

More yelling might come their way for poor answers. It may not show, but the Warden was tense and angry. But he figured he'd give the men on the front lines a chance to give their input and justify their actions before they have to do the paperwork.

Alasdair sat outside in the courtyard, staring at his feet. He sat with his elbow on his knee, resting his face in his right hand. He hadn't bought any clothing to keep him warm in this weather, so he just let his body face the biting cold. He shivered occasionally, but he was more or less used to this. He doesn't really need warm clothes that much as he lived in a box for a quarter of his life. It may seem shocking, but boxes don't come with heating systems. He looked down at the pebbles between his shoes, trying to kill his boredom by making some shake or even split down the middle.
Fuck, this place is dull.
He wondered if it was possible for his brain to just wither away from lack of mental stimulation. If it wasn't, Thesta, being the shit palace it is, would probably make it possible.

Sith stood in the prison courtyard, trying not to make eye contact with, touch, or speak to anyone. Assuming no one tried to interact with her, she thought she would be fine. She just wanted to get through the day without hearing those awful alarms or see what she saw in the cafeteria again.

Samantha Fratellis

Was Sam having a good day? Hell no.

Three lockdowns in maybe two hours max? Ridiculous! Maddening! If I didn't believe in reforming people I would start putting these psychos down! Holy fucking shit!

She groaned, rubbing her gas mask with her gloved hand in distress as she arrived to take up another shift of watching only to remember the meeting that was promptly scheduled.

Shit.

She would file into the room, removing her helmet and gas mask in the presence of her boss as she noticed the irritation in his voice and words. To be fair, it was their fault for not making their presence more oppressing and frightening that the inmates found it ok to rebel and murder. That, that is a problem needing a fix. She sat through the speech, feeling deja vu to the days of training she went through and then dealing with her squad, but found it refreshing to hear about the offering of the time to give input. With that, Sam would raise her arm, her helmet gas-mask combo under her other arm.

"If I could suggest, either increasing the force we are allowed to use in response to these situations, or we have much more effective non-lethal measures like SWAT water cannons at stations. The problem is not the amount or where we are stationed...." She lowered her hand, her face relaxing as she spoke from experience with a more serious look. "... the problem is respect. They do not fear or respect them, that is what I have learned in my first few days here. If we want a safer prison, we need to make them respect us."

The spider would end up in the courtyard, likely towering over most if not all the prison inmates thanks to her large body of nearly ten feet tall and ten feet long thanks to her arachnid genetics. She looked around, searching for Sith, but when her eyes fell on her she quickly felt discouraged by the sight of her obvious self-imposed isolation. She remembered early at breakfast she showed no desire to talk, so, for now, the spider would let her be alone. Her reason was simple, she knew all too well what it was like to need to be alone. She would then wander the limits of the yard, careful to not touch the fences that she was warned were set with an alarm, wandering and looking at the inmates. Some looked tough, ragged, and downright cutthroat, while others seemed more tame and precise in their motions. Personally, she wasn't sure who was scarier. She would walk around, not stopping unless talked to directly which most common inmates were afraid to do so.

Silver
That...was a lot of people. Red eyes scanned the large group of inmates spread throughout the exercise area as the Shifter took a step backwards. If the amount of people had been a shock at breakfast, it was even more overwhelming now after hours spent in sensory deprivation. It was cold enough for her breath to be visible in the cold air, and she shivered, rubbing absent-mindedly at her still-aching arms.

At least the cold somewhat soothed the burning of the collar encircling her pale neck.

The feeling of wariness caused by the large amount of people was made even worse by the curious stares directed at her - after all, she hadn't cared enough to scrape the dried blood off, and it was splattered all over her. It matched her eyes, and made he skin seem even paler, like a dead thing's. Overall, it was quite a startling effect.

Finally, she saw someone she knew, and she eagerly went towards Jasper, moaning almost indecently as she felt the heat of the exhaust. She moved as close to the exhaust as she could get, huddling up, before acknowledging his presence.
"Hi!" That was followed by one of her cute smiles , as she tucked a strand of silver hair behind her ear.

Gentian
Th green-haired guard was trying to stay at the back of the group, hoping to stay unnoticed. He fervently wished he could be outside watching the inmates, but instead he had been called to this meeting of the guards.
"I don't really see why we need to be discussing this. The inmates that rebelled have been fitted with stronger inhibitors, and now they know the consequences for misbehaviour, it's likely we won't have any more issues." He said quietly, his soft voice not carrying very well.

"If we make them fear us by increasing the force, all that would really achieve is making the inmates hate the prison staff even more than they already do. This would probably lead to some of the braver - more foolish - inmates attempting to fight back." An image of the small blue haired girl that was the guard's adopted sister came to mind.

"Which could quite possibly lead to a riot, and deaths of both guards and inmates alike."

He didn't really want to talk, as it would draw attention to himself, but he was worried about the guard's having to become more violent. After all, no matter what rivalry and bad relationship hey had, his eldest sister was an inmate in this hellhole, and part o the reason he had became a guard was to keep an eye out for her, to make sure she didn't get on the wrong side of someone important. Someone who could make her vanish.

After all, without her power, the blue haired air elemental was incapable of fighting back against anyone, even if she still tried to pick fights. She was too small, too fragile, too proud...It wouldn't take much to kill her. But that was not something Gentian would allow, even if he had to take on the warden himself.

Jason listened to all the warden said and held in laughter,
impromptu makeout session...

“Well sir, I got here after mr pyrite did anything... hah... did he shoot flames out his Johnson?..
not important... “
he cleared his throat before continuing.

“well for the inhibitors being broken and the two attacks, well for all the situations you mentioned. We need people who aren’t afraid to get dirty, and ill let you know right now warden. I can be dirty... you give me ten minutes with a problem and I’ll give you a beaten puppy”
He gave his mug a swirl as if mixing it without a spoon.

“Personally I think we need to open a fight club for the inmates. Let them hurt and kill each other, keep them entertained, hell we can place bets, give little prizes to the winning scumbag.”

His tone casual and matter of fact, like one might make small talk by he coffee machine, he sipped his mug

Cahone was dry and sitting with some of the men and women he called friend. He asked about a naga.
No one had seen who he mentioned.
Cahone was smoking three joints and slamming a bottle of whisky.
He wanted that venom again... and she was nowhere to be seen...
I could fucking murder half this yard for that sensation again...

Brown eyes widened slightly at the other guard's suggestion, and Gentian frowned. "We shouldn't allow them to kill each other! Of course, there's some occasions where we can't stop it, but simply allowing an inmate to die?! Or worse, encouraging it?" It was obvious that the green haired guard was passionate about this subject, even moving places so he could look the mugger in the eye. His height was certainly imposing, nd the ground seemed to be shaking. The flower crown perched atop his messy green hair seemed to be growing thorny vines in reaction to his anger.

"So, what, you're just gonna turn their inhibitor's off and encourage them to slaughter each other for a little prize?" he said, his voice dripping sarcasm. "Or let the ones with some control over their powers massacre the ones who have no power?"

He couldn't deny, the idea had it's merits - pitting the inmates against each other could destroy relationships and schemes relying on other's - but the risk of someone getting seriously injured or even killed was too high. "Our job is to keep the inmates here locked up, and protect the world from them, but if we were supposed to kill them or simply let them die for no good reason, they would have been given a death sentence, rather than being sent here."

Be careful Gentian, your concern for the inmates welfare is showing in front of the Warden.

Be careful Gentian, your concern for the inmates welfare is showing in front of the Warden.
Jason didn’t even bat a eye.
“Not me personally, I assume some other guy with a remote would be the one hitting a switch”
Jason then took another sip of coffee.

The coffee was knocked out of the mugger's hand by a coldly furious Gentian, who's dark brown eyes had a look of steely hatred in them. Normally, it would take more than this to rouse the green haired male's anger, but the suggestion of a fight club, where inmates would be allowed to murder each other...
His sister would definitely sign up for that, even without her power, and with her extraordinary capability to make enemies, it would likely end badly. If she was able to use the air as a weapon, she'd kill as many as she could, and wouldn't stop at only inmates. Inevitably, she would kill a guard.
Gentian had heard whispers of activities conducted in solitary that there was no paperwork on, as it was illegal - torture, for one - and he wouldn't let Gail go there if he could help it.

The mug alerted Jason to nature kids easily telegraphed attack.
Jason being a clean and responsible person, didn’t let coffee be spilt.

Samantha Fratellis

The blonde simply let the green haired coworker talk, despite her opposition to every word he said. Her silence only caused her more internal pain upon listening to Jason, the coffee addict suggesting a fight club nearly making her speak out of turn.... which she did eventually do when the warden would not intervene.

Are you both so unqualified and unprofessional that you suggest no changes or to increase violence? Honestly,” she looks at Gentian,” you believe that a new fancy and heavier collar will discourage other inmates? Oh no! I might be treated slightly harsher for a few hours! Oh what a punishment! Truly we punish the bad people enough that it deters them. So much so that’s why we had FOUR PEOPLE BREAK THEIR SAFETY RESTRAINTS WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT IN ONE MORNING. This isn’t a playground for these people this is prison to learn that society has rules and disobeying them means suffering!

She then snaps to look at Jason, her yellow eyes narrowing. “And you, it says a lot about you to suggest such a thing. Violence cannot be encouraged. We use it as a deterrent and that is the only acceptable violence that should be allowed.

After her snap she took a deep inhale, letting it out her nose as she mentally cooled herself off before looking at the warden dead on once again. This was his meeting after all. She noticed also that a certain centaur, whom had caught her curiousity, had yet to speak. Her input was something she was hoping would align with her own.

The spider made sure to stay FAR away from the girl caked in blood as well as the man irritated and known for outbursts who was now abusing drugs. The spider would retreat into an area with sunlight in the farthest part of the yard, settling in and playing with the pavement and grass.

With several replies for ideas already flowing in, the Warden acted as a bystander, even if whatever ideas being thrown his way might've sounded absurd or premature. The guards proceeded to give their reasoning and trying to separate themselves from the blame, even after he'd specified that nobody would be in trouble for this - so much for covering their asses in the first place. Among the crazy, there were, indeed, some good ideas to implement. Ones that wouldn't even need to long to put in place. He'd let a short smile escape his lips from time to time, but other times, maintained composure, and even scratched the underside of his chin contemplating hybrids of these ideas. But the one big thing that struck a nerve was Jason's plan for a fight club, one that Gentian wasn't fond of. It soon grew heated with Sam hopping in as well to give her input before he could get close enough, and if someone didn't put a stop to it, he might have an internal brawl on his hands. He stepped forward, getting right in between the three before this could escalate. No more standing around. As the man in charge, he needed to make a judgment call. He placed a chilly palm over each of the two opposing guards' chests and put distance between then, unaware of the extra cold energy he'd exerted in doing so.

"Enough," he ordered, giving each of them a look of disapproval. "In-fighting is just going to prove Sam's point. If the inmates see a sign of weakness among us, they will exploit it, and possibly in a worse manner than today." As he mentioned her, Edward looked towards Samantha to address her thought about authority and respect. "Respect... if we can't get the inmates to think we mean serious business, then what are we doing here? Sure, we do have a lockdown procedure, but it is a one-size-fits-all mechanism, one that clearly not everyone is honoring and going out of their way to ignore. Change is necessary around here. Yes, we do need to increase our non-lockdown force if we plan on having our new inmates and old continue to take us seriously..."

But force needed a limit. Jason's idea certainly had implications, and the Warden couldn't help but agree with Gentian on the more humane approach. But still... there might be benefits in a bizarre idea. His eyes returned to Jason. "But non-lethal force. You all know the amount of paperwork and the investigations that the Thestian officials have to go through whenever an inmate is killed on-scene. Oftentimes, it is out of our control if an inmate is killed, and it's for the safety of the majority. But a fight club to basically take away the inhibitors and let all hell break loose is a stretch. We already have inmates wandering around without them, which in itself is a problem that we are trying to fix. Giving them a window to be free may earn us good will, but will open us up to exploitation, which we don't need, especially if they wise up to the fact their inhibitors can be disabled with something like the push of a button for something as insane as a fight club..."

"However, you are on the right track about one thing. A release," he sighed as he admitted this, rather ashamed to have to. "They have all of this negativity within them that they may or may not be able to control, so... it's very possible that we can regulate it with an activity. A fight club, but definitely not unrestrained. Some of our inmates can literally blow up the prison before we can even react to stop it from happening. Sam proposed an idea of SWAT-like water hoses... That can help in a situation like that. Perhaps a fight club can be made possible, but inhibitors stay on. It opens too much of a possibility for an escape or rebellion that we don't need. And we are certainly not allowing any inmates to die. This is already going to be a pain in the ass to justify to the board. Not to mention that we are not advocates of murder, but rehabilitation. So we can't just pit them against each other like wild animals and wait until they waste each other."

|:| Jasper Bent |:|

No sign of Alice just yet. He'd seen many of the other familiar faces he'd become used to in the past year, as well as those he'd seen and bumped heads with in the cafeteria. Not many gave much attention to him, but the crowds were quite... unnerving. They'd need a bigger yard at this rate. Or at least more to do. The only benefit Jasper could see? More bodies, more warmth in the cold airs of Thesta. Every breath he'd take, he could see it right before his eyes. Not that he'd get into hugging circles with dangerous criminals, but at least the proximity would promote some warmth. He rubbed his gloved hands together as he kept an eye out for his 'shocking' cellmate.

Instead, he got another familiar face he'd missed in the crowds. Felix was right; Silver was alive and well and even came out of solitary faster than the average inmate would for killing a guard. She did have a new collar fastened onto her neck, probably to prevent her from trying another stunt like that. Her little rampage made Jasper question her abilities, considering her a wild card, possibly too volatile to trust... Half of him almost thought she'd snitched about something to get out early. Was it about him? Did she even find his map yet?

Well, it'd be rude not to say hi either way...

"Why hello," he replied in the most polite of ways. In his mind, he thought... Huh. She's cuter than I remember. Even with the blood all over her. Someone didn't bother to clean up. On the outside, he gave her a smile while not eyeballing over her too much before returning his gaze to the doors to look for Alice. Still no signs of the higher-up guards either, too... "Seems you had your fun this morning... and your just desserts. Never been to the SHU myself, and I don't plan on it. Still... impressed at how you got out of your old bracelets though. You holding up?"

The mind reader was ready to open up to her in order to gain some trust... up until he reveals his grand slam for a plan. Something like 'check your pocket' would suffice once he gets her in the mood, because to pull off a stunt like that, escape must be on her mind.

Alice skipped into the yard. looking around at the people. some she knew and some she didn't know. Where was Jasper? She would be put to ease i she only saw him. She continued to look around before finally seeing him and skipping over. "Hai" she waved before noticing "Oh, hai to the cutie too" She giggled to herself now in a far better mood. Her lighting danced across her knuckles and glinted in her eyes. Oh how she wanted nothing more than to get out of here but at least she should try to make life happy while in the prison.

"The bracelet was easy to break. This - " She reached up to touch the collar, wincing as the burning spread to her fingertips as she tugged at it. "Is gonna be a lot more difficult. And it burns so much..." Her red gaze was clouded slightly by pain, the constant burning making it difficult to focus on anything. "Solitary was cold. Even colder than out here."
she smiled as Alice greeted them, but then she tilted her head to the side, looking slightly confused.
"...Cutie...? You think I'm cute?"

Gentian:
The green haired boy flinched back as the warden touched him, and h looked sheepish. "Yes sir..I-" His eyes widened, and he stopped talking at the approval of the fight club. "But...Will they be allowed to seriously injure each other?" he tried to come up with another reason to protest, disliking the idea, but he didn't want to argue with the warden without good reason.

Lilith tilted her head "What about the prisoners that have a dangerous abilities that they use as combat? Do we just let them run around or keep their inhibitors on them." She said before she soon freezed up "Umm sir I need to clean up(empty mask)." She said as she grabbed her waste hazard container. She soon glances around carefully to see if there's a good spot to empty her mask as she back up away and heads to the back of the room and begins to take her mask off as she does green liquid soon pour out of the mouth piece in to the container. "Ah geez, Looks like I am going to be busy cleaning up." she said in a groan.

Will entered the courtyard and almost immediately regretted doing so. There was quite the crowd gathered there, a few more than he felt comfortable around. He began to nervously fidget with a few nuts and bolts he had summoned, in an attempt to calm himself down. A more careful look in the courtyard revealed several... Bizzare inmates. Doing his best to not stare at anyone in particular, he spotted Alice standing next to two other people-her friends, he assumed, as she didn't seem threatened by them. He began weighing his options, trying to decide whether or not he wanted to risk further socialization in the span of a single day. Closing his eyes, he took a few deep breaths, before finally deciding to take the risk. Approaching the trio, he said, in a slightly nervous Voice:
"Ah, we meet again, Alice. Care to introduce me to your friends?". Noticing the blood covering Silver's mouth, his nervousness increased. He spawned a rag and offered it to her."Oh uh, you've got something splattered all over your... face. Here."

She smiled at Silver “of course you are cute”. Her train of thought was interrupted by Will. He seemed nervous by the was held himself as he spoke and handed the rag to little Silver. Alice grabbed hold of Will’s sleeve. “There you are! I was wondering where you had gone off to. This is my roomie Jasper, and this is Silver.” She proudly gestured to the two showing them off as being her friends. Just then she gasped and took her hands from Will as she struggled to remain standing. Her electricity was become extremely erratic. So much so she could barely control it. This was how she normally was when off meds. Very volatile. She struggled to regain her composure which she managed after a short bit.

Jason had won. In no time at all he would be watching fuckwits fight for his amusement.
We could live stream it... set up pay for views... interview fan favourites...
And the prizes could be as simple as a pack of smokes
a bottle of vodka.

Such fun. That green haired fool who went to attack Charlotte the second however. A New kid, he will have to learn the rules
the hard way.

As if to rub dirt on the little nature pussys uptight feelings. Jason continued.

“Brooks sir, I believe in less then a week I could have the inmates build a ring, or cage, octagon, whatever...
We can make in the yard, make it a actual building outside, only let in those with good behaviour to watch, take troublemakers inside the ring for handicap matches. On the books it’s just inmates boxing, wrestling, etc...

But in the yard, that means inmates who want to watch something have a reward to keep them in line, and inmates who are to big for their boots can have a sanctioned stomping. Plus... I will say right now. More then half this prison is full of monsters, and it’s getting over crowded. Letting a few slipthrough the cracks isn’t that bad for paperwork. ESPECIALLY when no physical evidence is left to write about...”
He took a sip and made a noise of satisfaction.
Ahhhh..”

“Anyway my point being.. mr Pyrite for example. Has Easily killed fifty seven men in here since being locked up. Outside of thesta he had only killed eight men.”
Charlotte was feeding him information

“My point being it isn’t hard paperwork to add onto someone’s life sentence. And many inmates like pyrite, leave troublemakers as stains or ashes... life sentence gets a extra ten years, and we solve the problem of monsters and overcrowding”
