Fantasy The Whisper of Death

Rose noticed the man Saphirric was concerned with something, but it was none of roses business to ask. It felt like a rare breeze when the rift opened. Rose recognized the rift for what it was, she had read about it. Never had she been in one before. Part of her wanted to see if she could simply put her hand in.

She searched into the ally way's rift, and saw something that seemed to never end. trust me "Safe?"

Her eyes met Saphirric, thats the thing, i've got nothing to lose, Saphirric. and without further hesitation she placed her hand into his offered hand. i feel as if i am in that dream i always dream, the feeling of danger, allowing the moment to take you. "I'll trust you this time, You are leading the way, afterall," she grinned as she jumped through the portal, her landing was off balance and she staggered a bit having to grip on to Saphirric's already extended arm for balance, but her face shimmered with light, it was thrilling, she never felt this way awake before. Her heart was racing. "Amazing," she couldn't help but say. well, i'd say that is one for firsts, now," where do we go from here?" she wondered.

When Cyan got into the elevator she knew I something was different. For one instead of going up, it was going down. And for two, she simply had to place her hand on the elevator wall to know an outside source was influencing the elevator. Unfortunately her power only allowed her to know of the elevator and everything directly connected to it; she couldn't reach far enough through the inner-workings to see what the outside source was. So you could say she was prepared to say the least. When the elevator door opened she looked around. It was a strange room and, judging by the dried blood and morbid feel, it was supposed to be a secret. The lights practicalltly led her to a room numbered 52. A small part of her told her to turn back amd try to manually repair the elevator. The rest of her insisted on findibg out what lay in the lower recesses of the play. The door to the cell swung open creakily on its hinges without needing to be touched or opened manually. A thousand questions ran through her head but she told herself if she kept going they'd all be answered in time. Or at least some of them. It was then she came face to face with him... a creature of machinery. "Hello."

Sapphric noticed she was super nervous of the whole thing. The Rift, The tiny gap between sides, even trusting a complete stranger. "You're so nervous, but yet so brave" He admired as she gives him her hand. As she steps through and almost fall, he puts a arm out to help her from falling. "Easy, Watch you're step." Sapphric says with a laugh in his voice. "She's reacting to this alot differently than i expected. I totally forgot that this isn't everyday life for her." The rift behind Rose closed. "I'm sorry. I was supposed to meet up with you Shade," He thought to himself as he sees the glimmer in Rose's eyes." But i'm sure you'll understand this time." He smiled.

He waited for her to get a breath. "Over here. The Oval building's this way." Sapphric said as he held on to her hand and lead her out the alleyway to their left. The alley wasn't very wide and it moves into a big open court yard. Sapphric turns to look at Rose, walking backwards, while leading her out of the alley. "I know you were probably hoping for some sight seeing," He stops and looks up to his right alittle to see the enormous Oval Building. "but this place is a sight of it's own.The is the Capital building of Zeial, The Hall of the Future." The sun was just right shining it on the buildings lighting up the area. The tree's down the road and sidewalk between the white pavement added a nice detail to this mechanical city. there was trimmed bushes along the front of the building. "Even though it's corrupt, it's still a beautiful city nonetheless." He thought to himself. He looks back at Rose, Gives her a moment to soak it all in and asks with a smile, "So, Ya ready?"

As Shade sat on top of a pile of crates for 5 minutes he realized something, this part of the alley is not that far down the path. Shade was quiet before suddenly clenching his teeth, "That Son Of A-" And punched the wall. He knew what happened but he didn't like that he knew he couldn't follow easily, and he was even more aggravated that he lost his own personal challenge. He sighed and pulled out some bandaging in his mini-med kit and gozzed his hand before wrapping it, he sighed while he flexed it afterwards. He then thought he sensed something was watching him and quickly looked up and around, but not seeing anything or anyone. He was silent while looking around before not liking it and beginning to sprint, he made it to the end of the alley before running in to a man.

"You seem intent friend," the man stated, "Anything I can help with?"

Shade quickly measured the man, he didn't Seem to be a threat but wasn't going to underestimate, and took a step back ready to void out at any time. "Who are you?", Shade asked, "And I don't believe so..." Still looking at the man while casually looking around the area.

"Well lets see," Perun said with an aged smile, like a knowing grandfather. People told him it made him look older, but he didn't mind. Age and gravitas were very necesary for what he did, "You seemd to be pursuing a couple of teenagers with your power,("Void manipulation" whispered Huginn. He can use it to create portals" whispered Muninn) Void manipulation right? But they evaded you, which evidently frustrated you enough to punch a wall until your hands bled." Perun regarded the man as he spoke. Slow to trust, obviously very powerful. Untrusting. an interesting choice he supposed. But unlikely to be a team player. "as for why you should care about my help well, I am Perun of the Blizzardheart and I, like you received a very specific letter. Does that help?"

Ekko reclined lazily in a chair situated behind a desk overflowing with legal documents and papers, his feet comfortably planted atop the pile furthest from him. His eyes gazed unenthusiastically at the rays of sunlight from the adjacent window illuminating the various texts tucked neatly in rows on the shelves. A young woman gingerly lifted a book from the stack she’d been cradling in her hand and positioned it in its rightful spot. Everything had a place here and his presence was stark amongst them. A bell echoed throughout the room signaling someone present at the door. Natalia noted Ekko, unflinching from his spot, walked over to him, nudged his feet off the desk and replaced them with the stack before cutting him a glare and disappearing from the room. Ekko jolted forward, wrinkling his nose and sticking his tongue out in response, before falling back into the chair, causing him to spin in a slow circle.

As he rounded back towards the front of the room, Natalia re-entered with a somber look on her face, tucking the folded contents of some envelope addressed to Xavier into the front of the apron she’d been wearing. Ekko eyed her curiously, fully intrigued by her change in stature.

“Company,” he inquired casually, studying her careful expression as she took up the pile of books and busied herself again with organizing them.

“No, just the mail.” Natalia turned suddenly towards the window, frowning and fanning herself absently. “It’s quite warm today, isn’t it, Elric?” She opened the window and winced at the increased intensity of brightness. Ekko smirked and stood from the seat, rounding the desk and folding his arms. His posture was casual but his mind teeming with curiosity that he knew she probably sensed. She met his gaze and cleared her throat before returning apathetically to her task. “So will we see you tonight? It’s been so long since we did anything as a family, you know.”

Ekko sighed and looked out the window, willing himself stoic. “I’m sorry Nats, but that’s gonna be a hard pass for me.”

Natalia physically released her annoyance in a huff, turning to face him. “You should really be more considerate and responsible to others, like – “

“Like your husband?” Ekko scoffed and propelled himself forward from the desk, bouncing teasingly over to stand before her. “No offense Nats, but Xavier is full of bolts. I’ve got no interest in playing kid brother to his campaign of sweeping success. Anyway, I gotta fly. Wish the old bag good luck for me, no?” Before she could voice her rebuttal, Ekko was closing the door to Xavier’s office behind him and swiftly making his exit from the house. She sighed, turning back to the shelves, "I mean't 'like your father'... Idiot."

Once he was sure Natalia hadn’t followed him, he pulled the envelope with Xavier’s name neatly printed on the front from his pocket and dug out the contents. The initial confusion coloring his expression was gradually replaced by a thoughtful smirk. “The city in the sky, eh? …It’s along the way.” Ekko stuffed the letter into a pocket of his cargo pants and tossed the envelope aside on the porch before jogging down the front steps and mounting his land cruiser. He gave the house one last glance before lowering his goggles over his eyes and firing up the engine, peeling up dust in his ride out of Salicia.

***************

Upon arrival to the base of Zeial, Ekko cut the engine and dismounted his cruiser, greeted by a small group of men and an android - obviously guards - doing their best to appear non-threatening. He smirked and extended his hand, dangling the key to the ignition. "I understand temptation is a fierce beast, but this gal's even fiercer, so I'd recommend being gentle." He nodded over his shoulder back at the cruiser as one of the younger guards took the keys from him and eyed it with envy. "She's a beaut, though, I know."

The oldest of the guards, a man who appeared to be in his late 40s, cleared his throat roughly and stood erect, sternly drawing the conversation to himself.
"Welcome to Zeial. Do you have business here or are you here for pleasure?"

Ekko's crooked smirk deepened on his face as he stepped closer to the commanding guard and lowered his goggles. A million different retorts coiled up in his head, preparing to fire off, but he resisted their urges, deeming it best he enter as peacefully as possible. He held eye contact with the guard, exuding false confidence, and handed over the letter he'd lifted from Natalia earlier that week. Taking the paper, the guard tentatively lowered his gaze from Ekko to its contents and his face showed signs of knowing. The guard lifted his head nodding to the other two who'd been studying his response in anticipation, and returned the note to Ekko before clearing his throat again.
"Enjoy your stay, councilman Korvine. Mordic and Steel will escort you to the city's center where you will receive further direction." The guard took the keys from Mordic and sent them off into the city. Ekko internally sighed in relief, glad to have changed into a getup more appropriate for someone of Xavier's status.

"Councilman Korvine, I'm running your data files to check you in and I seem to be having trouble reconciling your files," Steel, the andriod, noted causally as they made their way into the heart of the city. Ekko felt a sense of panic rise up in him, and forced it down in a gulp. Had Nest not gotten his message about swapping out Xavier's profile? "Is that so? How peculiar..."

Ekko felt Mordic tense beside him, addressing the android. "Steel, is there a problem?"

"Negative lieutenant Mordic. It would appear the personnel database is being updated. I will continue attempt to retrieve the councilman's files." Ekko sighed another internal relief and laughed lightly, gaining his confidence back. "You know for a city so elevated, you greeters seem so down in the dumps! Lighten up and I'm sure the old processor here will be functional in no time!" He smacked Mordic's back, lightening the mood. The guard chuckled back, voicing his agreement before saluting Ekko and directing him towards the elevator leading up to the city's oval center in the sky.

((sorry the intro's so lengthy. I'll do better about breaking things up going forward!))

Shade narrowed his eyes at the man, Perun made him feel uneasy in a way, and on top of that the man knew too much about him, without Shade knowing him. But Shade now knew it was him or at least something to do with him that was watching him earlier, Shade didn't fully trust him. Shade took a deep breath, "You seem to know an awful lot about me, for someone that I've never met before..." Shade was looking him up and down to see what weapons he may have on him, "You can call me, Jack, Jack Heart. And the letter helps a little, but I don't know what the letter is about." Then Shade once again looked around the area trying to see if there were others, but still not finding himself able to see anything out of the normal.

"So what is it you are wanting... Perun?" Shade leveled his eyes at the man and raised his right eyebrow.

"Well, you know, being nervous is the same part of you brain as being excited," she began, smiling awkwardly at the compliment, she felt a bit modest, she shrugged, she didn't believe herself brave and thought she would be misleading him that way. The guy was just like a boy, always looking for the next adventure. she thought. "And thank you," she said realizing she had lost her balance earlier.

over here, the oval building is this way said the boy, she nodded before he once again took her hand. Honestly rose didn't mind, everything about this place was surreal to begin with.

When she was taken by the hand by the boy saphirric, her hair went flying in the breeze and she felt the coldness in her face, it was a good kind of thing, a relief. and the places around passed by quickly like a blurr as they passed by corners and people dressed in strange clothing. Once they stopped, Rose blinked out of her daze and began to see. She saw to their right a couple of robots occupied with something, that's right, zeial has robots. She was too busy being in a thoughtful place, and in awe by everything around her to hear saphirric, "hmm?" she said, looking at him with eyes of a dreary just woken up person. you probably wanted to go site seeing... She felt astonished and she really turned to look at him, "Wait, how did you know that?" she asked, in fact, I did want to go site seeing!

Rose looked on at the building with a new perspective as the man continued to speak, of how it is wonderful, she felt he was leaving out something, she was unable to think of what he was keeping to himself, . As rose saw it, it was as if something bright and alluring, how could something so mysterious and magnificent light be so full of hidden darkness? Usually it is these things built to look so safe, and as if it is something so good, that one should be most cautious of, but rose was not afraid, rather she wanted to know the truth. The whole of it.

"I'm ready, I want to know what is beyond these walls, you know? What it really is," her voice wondered off, her expression had suddenly gotten serious as she faced the building and her thoughts in a mysterious unknown place. zona, should I really go?

After a moment, she spoke again "Hey, saphirric," she paused a moment waiting for him, "Thanks for bumping into me," it really has been an adventure with this guy, I've only known him for at most half an hour but it feels like a day.

"ha!" Perun laughed boisterously, "Some little birds told me about you."

"Hey!"

"That was actually pretty clever so I'll let it go."

"He's lying about his name by the way."

"But I'm going to ignore that because its rude." Perun muttered under his breath.

Ugh FIne

Nice of you.

"
I'm mostly in the dark too Jack." Perun said with a smile who was staring at him intently, 'But my very credible sources of information tell me that something will probably happen when all who received the letter gather in the appointed place. And I'm guessing the two you chased off were also recipiants. So, me helping to track them down seems to be in both our best interests. No? Or you could do the smart thing and just meet them at the oval building." Then to Munnin he muttered, "Find out why those two don't want to meet this man."

Thought you'd never ask.

Perun gripped his tailsman and muttered Munins manifest: "Go forth and have care Muninn"

With a caw Munnin became a full bodied visable crow and flapped off his shoulder with a caw.

"Now then," Perun said, "Shall we go?"

In the long run, Scarcity had got her hands on some sort of plasma blade that resembled a dagger and a bag with money one of the workers had foolishly left behind before she was caught and escorted a second time up the elevator, this time by men who were a little braver than the first bunch. That and they carried weapons with them. Apparently the man with the broken nose had informed authorities what had happened. No matter, nothing had changed all that much. When Scarcity arrived at the place she was said to meet, she waited for something to happen. There weren't that many people around and the place seemed rather bland. Driven by mere boredom, she pulled out her new toy and tested its power by slicing off the very tips of her hair. The results pleased her.

@anyone I guess

“Councilman Korvine. Please take this elevator up to the top floor. The other guests should all be arriving within moments time. From there, further briefing will occur. Please feel free to use this communicator,” the body of Steel hissed and opened with precision only a machine could execute, and the android placed the small device in Ekko’s uplifted palm. “And do enjoy your stay at Zeial, the technological metropolis of the world.” He nodded his head, turning from the two escorts, and took a moment to admire the elevator before stepping onto its platform. Immediately it began a steady but swift ascent. The usual smile spread across Ekko’s lips as he tucked the communicator into his pocket. Most likely he’d be disposing of it later, but not before he got a closer look at its make.

The towering city whirred by in a blur, making it difficult to catch the details of any closer objects, but upon looking further out, he could see the base disappearing into a void of sky before revealing the underbelly of this technological stronghold.
Amazing… Simply amazing. He’d definitely be spending some good time here. Such a shame he’d decided to come as an imposter; he even considered completely ditching this short-lived curiosity for his brother’s summoning. Alas, he settled on good terms as the elevator smoothly came to a halt just as swiftly as it began.

Immediately scanning the room revealed one other person in its vastness amongst several points of interest, most likely surveillance. He laughed under his breath at his predicament and decided to ride the wave without fear from here, stepping out and addressing the young woman before him.
“Hello. I assume you are also one of the honored ‘guests’ of the eve? Mind filling me in on what your knowledge of this business we’ve been summoned here for is?”

@Stamper

Scarcity looked up at the male with the same fierce gaze she gave everyone. She returned the stolen weapon to her bag and thought for a moment, almost forgetting the reason they were called in the first place. To be honest, she hadn't even known there was more than one person that received the letter. "Honored is a big stretch but... yeah I guess," Her voice edged but not as hostile as it normally would be. "As for why we're here well... I don't know all the details. Something about a mission," she trailed off, her gaze lowering to her hand. As far as communication skills went, the only communication Scarcity knew was through violence. That being said, she figured she was doing horrible right now and, not knowing how else to express the frustration and embarrassment, was tempted to punch the wall she was leaning against. Fortunately, she decided it against it.

Ekko noted the woman's collected and guarded demeanor and decided it best to keep his distance till he knew more about what he was dealing with. Suddenly this seemed a bit more convoluted than a simple meeting of city officials and he felt much more equipped to deal with the developing situation than his brother. “I see. Do you mind if I inquire your profession? I am Xavier Korvine, a lower councilmen of Salicia.”

After reading the note she got from a messenger, Sarah decides to go. 'Maybe this will be some fun.' She thought to herself. Walking across the wooden bridges and through the city she gets to the rail way carts. Entering the carts she put in the location. Zeal.

"Well I'm off." The cart sped off in the direction towards the city. "I wonder why they need me." After a while Sarah finds herself emerging through the carts and into the city of Zeal.

"Well huh, they're not kidding when they said this place was high tech." Sarah twirls her guns Shock and Awe placing them back into their holsters.

"Guess I should be heading towards the tower now." Walking through the large city, she ends up finding a map leading her to the way of the very, very tall building.

"So this is it?" She gazes upwards, "Hope it's worth it." Walking to the doors she shows the Guards at the door her invitation letting her through and showing her the way to the elevator.

"Oh how gentlemanly of you." Sarah purrs, but to no avail. Strolling into the elevator, after closing Sarah leans back and awaits her long ride up to the top of the tower.

When reached to the top she spies a few people in the room and walks out with the door shutting behind her.

Shade narrowed his eyes at Perun, he didn't like how he seemed to dance around the question and how he seemed to be mumbling under his breath. But shade began to think he understood a few things as he saw the bird be summoned, he studied that Perun pulled something out and mumbled to it. He didn't know how he did it, but he assumed that this was a power that this man had. Shade sighed a little, "I apologize for not fully trusting you," Shade did a quick recount of his Voids and knew he had 11 more before wearing out, "Well we should be getting there soon and it's still a good long walk away and I've been in the place before so..." Shade glanced over and opened an actual Void Gate, "This will take us to the room just outside the room we're meeting in." Shade walked half way through the gate before turning around, "I Assume your little 'Birdy' knew where you were heading there correct? I'll leave it open only for a minute, for you. Seeing as how there are other people waiting there, oughta hurry and get some answers."

Sapphric turns and looks at Rose in shock. I didn't she'd pick up that quick, "Not a Problem." He says with a smile, "To be honest, Im pretty glad i did. I made a new friend." He looks at Her and pauses for a moment "Alright, let's go." They start to make his way up to the front steps of the Capitol. A caw comes from no where and a bird lands on Sapphric's shoulder. "Woah!" He reacts to the random crow coming from nowhere. "Hey, there guy. How's it going?" He reaches up and pets the crow's head.

"And I am happy to land on you boy." The raven suddenly spoke. "Would you answer a question as we go to our shared destination?" the raven asked "Woah! You just talked? Oh, sorry you must get that alot." He laughed. "A talking bird welp, you must be new to town. You lost?" He chuckled as they walked up the stairs towards the entrance of the building.

Perun shrugged and walked through the gate teleporting to the other side. "Interesting." He said. "Oh and Nice to meet you All! Sorry we took a bit to arrive!"

---

Muninn cawed in a cackling way. This lad was interesting. "Not lost no." He said, "And while This is not my first time in the city the last time I came here it was grounded and reliant on a sngle water wheel for power. Nothing like this any way. ut the question is, Why do you avd this Jack heart, and no thats not his real name I know, person? You both received a letter did you not?"

Ekko's awareness heightened at the sudden influx of members to their party. He assessed them all as they rolled in and he didn’t like what he could see. Most of the women were hard to gauge, looking too sweet or mature for comfort and most of the men were enigmatic and forthcoming. Could he relax around this mixed bag gathering? He’d continue to think not. He tried to rifle through the knowledge he had of his brother’s dealings to assess why Xavier would be summoned all the way to Zeial with a crowd like this. Pieces were beginning to fall into place. Monsters…

Clearing his throat, he put on his best cordial, political smile and addressed them each as they entered, returning their tentative greetings in kind then offering,
“I am a councilman of Korvine and my new acquaintance here,” he gestured towards the blonde whose name he still hadn’t gotten, “and I are a bit in the dark about our gathering party here. Could any of your gentlemen and lady,” He nodded an informal bow towards Sarah, “be privy to what exactly this is about?”

With that, a receptionist stepped forward from further down the hallway. She was a female Zeialan with a fair height and sharp features. Her blue, florescent eyes looked at each and everyone of them. "Welcome to the Capitol of Zeial, the Hall of the Future," the woman said, looking at Ekko with her stern, mechanical expression, "as for why you're here... if you could follow me, the council is ready to receive you as their audience," she said, turning and proceeding down the hallway to a large double door at the far end. Stepping inside, the room was very large, circular, and tall, the ceiling reaching high above them. Virtual reality glass made it seem like they were at a mountain resort looking over a peak at the beauty of nature. Around the room sat 11 councilmen, all Zeialan. Never has a human served in the council of Zeial. The councilmen sat at a high platform so that they were looking down on the others. Of the 11 councilmen, 4 were from the school of Order and the other 7 were from the school of Justice.

Before any of the other members could offer up a response, a Zeialan woman with bold features and an even bolder set of vocal chords entered in behind them, immediately addressing him. This is the end of it, he thought, careful not to show his failing hand before the others. At the very most, he’d have to slip out past the guards and out of the city for a while, and if they were anything like the guards this morning, he really didn’t foresee much issue. I guess this should’ve been executed in stealth afterall. Ah, well – a little adventure never killed anyone, he mused, though admittedly government was not his idea of a thrill. Straightening the ends his jacket, he turned and nodded an informal departure to the other members, then smiled his government smile back at the escort, replying. “With pleasure, of course.”

Ekko returned to his usual escapist nature, noting the best possible escape routes and shuffling through the latent information he’d retained on politics from listening in to Xavier practice and his own personal study. Depending on the nature of this meeting, he could totally pull this off, the he wasn’t necessarily looking to be involved in any global affairs, whether it was on behalf of his brother or not. Once again, his childish immaturity reared its head to bite at him. Another lesson learned. As the woman pushed through the double doors, a room of inexplicable grandiose unfolded into a beautiful mountainous landscape. Ekko couldn’t help but gawk, having read of the Zeialan forum, but enthralled nonetheless to see it in person. Truly, Zeial was growing on him.
“Fantastic…”

Once they arrived at the door, Rose took it up to be the first one in, carefully she opened the door for both of them. "It is pretty dark in here, hey what are we looking for anyway?" she asked as they enetered the building, the lights seemed dim and as she looked around she didn't notice anyone. "Weird,"

She then noticed something around the corner, there was some sort of reception area. Rose stepped in silently, and looked around, there where very comfy looking red chairs. However, she did not see anyone behind the reception desk that is wierd, then again this is a robots town, everything is wierd. Rose eyed the chair, tempted to sit and wait but instead she simply put her hands on one of the chairs. "Hello?" she called out towards the empty receptionist area. "Anyone here?" Rose waited a while for a response, when she heard nothing, she felt greatly disapointed.

@Antari

"Haha, he's still using that ridiculous name." Sapphric laughs. he pushes the raven off his shoulder and continues to walk with Rose in the door of the Capitol. "Hello?" Rose called out. Sapphric walked to the other side of the room that Rose walked to, to see if anyone was over there. There was no one. "hmmmm, They must have already started. And i thought I was talking a short cut.. I guess i got the letter alittle late then." He chuckles. " Hey Rose, I have an idea." He places his hand on the wall and creates a rift. "They're probably holding it in the Council room." Sapphric saw people moving into a room through the rift and saw one of them was Shade. "We should hurry up so no one see's my rift."

She had all but run out of ideas up until her friend walked in, Rose listened to Saphirric, she nodded in agreement. "It seems you are right about that," looking into the rift it seemed that several people where there, apparantly, she was walking into some sort of meeting. "This just gets more interesting," she said grinning.

best come last haha, she thought

"we should hurry up before someone see's my rift." Rose peaked into the meeting room again, it seemed unwise to try to fool the council members. Or atleast, get caught doing so.

"Yes, i understand," She nodded again to saphirric, not wanting for any trouble to come to them on their first five minutes, immediatly she stepped through the rift. Casually appearing as if she had been there on the other side the whole time, she held her hands behind her back, and waited for her friend to get through, she purposely positioned herself so others couldn't see the rift. "Wow," she murmered, looking around, it was bigger in person then through the rifts hole. In front of her people where walking forth, no one was behind them, "It's bigger in person, haha" she whispered, so that only saphirric could hear. The hallway she stood in had no light other then the light from the meeting room, but that was good, less likely to be seen.

Scarcity remained at the back of the crowd, arms crossed and eyes as cold as ever. She hadn't expected all these other people to have been invited too and had to bite back a rather harsh comment to the council on why they would think it such a good idea to invite a person like her. Think of the profit, she reminded herself as she straightened her clothing. It would all be worth it in the end, she assured herself. Although, she had to admit, it was a very uncomfortable experience being in the front of the room below the 11 councilmen. It reminded her a lot of when she was tried for the murder of two of her family members. Their hard gazes, set downward on the audience before them was very similar but she chalked that down to them being part robotic or whatever the Zeialian people were. It had only taken a few moments to get lost in thoughts and realizing this, Scarcity attempted to focus her attention back on the situation before her.

Shade was also walking near the back on the way not really comfortable near the crowd, but he was also seeming to have troubles looking away from the girl in the back, he felt as if he had seen her before somewhere but at the same time not thinking it was possible, no one like that was in his line of work. Shade sighed thinking to himself, "Why am I here and how did I get dragged into this? I thought Sapphiric would be here and the idiot isn't, he was running off with some girl." He glanced again at her, "She was probably just some informant of his, or maybe he found someone important..." Shade stumbled and tripped while he was about to glance behind him again, Shade barely managing to roll instead of smash his face in the ground. "Welp, now I DEFINITELY look stupid!" Shade sighed now any chance he had was definitely gone, he continued down the hall scratching the back of his head and sighing mumbling to himself, "I'd definitely rather be out on a mission..." He glanced around before they walked into the council room, where Shade stopped at the door as everyone walked in. He glanced at the girl as he let her walk past him and he looked back down the hall where he saw something as he was about to turn back towards the room. Shade saw Sapphiric's warp, he watched as the girl from earlier and Sapphiric walked out and pretended to have been with everyone the entire time. "Finally he got here, after it's too late to talk about anything." Shade sighed and then walked all the way into the room and stood by the girl while waiting for the other two to get in and close the door, he looked up at the councilmen, Shade despised politicians they were normally the worst and they normally never told you everything or lied to you or sometimes even about you.

Either way he stood there and just waited calmly while studying all that was going on. That was before he looked and saw the scenery he clenched his teeth seeing the mountain ranges and just closed his eyes,
"I hope that student would be fine, he should make it, but he did lose quite a bit of blood..." Shade took a deep breath before glancing over at Perun wondering where his bird went, glanced over at the young energetic politician that he met in the other room, looked back behind him to see Sapphiric and the girl finally walk into the room, then looked back at the girl right next to him.
