[The Wedding Crashers] OOC Thread

I hope to be on the run by Monday, so Thorn and Feantari, you have until then to get your characters done. Can we do that? I don't want to hold up Story Time any longer than we have already.
 
I will try my damnedest, just, classes start this coming week, so, this past week and this weekend are...a little hectic, lol
 
Feantari, I have a intoductory post up for you. I took the liberty of saying that your character had a drunken party the night before, and you are just now waking up to find out what is going on up on deck. Post at your pleasure, and we can get the detials of your backstory up later.

What is my role here? I'm guessing security for the bride, but are the troops under my command or just my influence, etc?
 
You are the head of security for the bridal party, and the 25 soldier honor guard report to you. It was expected that you wouldn't be needed in your role as security, and it was a great opportunity for you to get an island vacation under your belt and still get paid by your family.

Dropping by to extend my sincere apologies, for my absence. It is true that a small period of inactivity was agreed due to holidays etc, but I got carried away by the general flow of inactivity and allowed myself to neglect this fine game. I wanted to state that there is nothing done wrong by the esteemed ST, Sherwood, nor by the worried co-player Storytime. Believe me Storytime, I've endured quite disruptive experiences as far as RPGs go, and while playing in rl sessions as well, so you have nothing to worry about. As a matter of fact, I should commend your dedication to the game and part of my apology is also to you, since I was inactive in a game that you seemed to like a lot.


The New Year brought with it much in the way of obligations and various others concetration-disturbing factors, and perhaps enthusiasm for other things that tended to shift focus from games already under way. I just chastise myself for not dropping in earlier to update you all on my status and limited availability. It is heartening to see that more people have answered the call and this fine game will proceed in any case. Schedule and mood allowing, I will try to see if I could possibly return to my usual posting rate and thus try to continue participating, but please don't hold it against me if I don't manage it.

For my part...I accept the apology. I'm glad for an explanation. And I'm glad it was given. I'm also grateful for the nice consideration for my feelings. Thanks.

Sorry for my lack of recent activity. Me it was kind of a difficulty to get my character back in that scene.
 
Wrapping up the current thread, but if you have any in character chatting to do, post it soon. I'll have a new thread up in a day or two for your arrival in Wavecrest.
 
...and so begins the wait. I probably won't have the courage to post until a while from now. I kinda want to know what Flagg will decide before I do. So...this may be me going on a hiatus of sorts. :?

Am still here. I was kinda waiting around to see what was happening here. Definitely enjoying the game so far though. :) Huzzah for actually getting to play a member of this crazy web that is DB society. I owe you a post and a real backstory though. Meybe I can get to that this evening. Headed to check out a new gym 1st, am excite.

Between some PMs and my recruitment thread, we have three more people making up characters for the game.
 
No. I don't want to hold up the game for everyone else. I'm just giving the new people some time to make up their characters and get them posted so I can work them into the story. If you have a post you'd like to make, be my guest and please do so! :)
 
Well I'm fine with waiting for the other newbies to join, besides I kind of want a response to my question before I make my next post.
