Bellatrix Vincetia

As Bellatrix wept, she came to clutch the little ribbon harder. She almost didn't recognize the voice that spoke to her. For a brief moment she might of thought it was Arkos, but the voice was totally different that what she had initially thought. The woman would reach up to wipe away her tears, then look to who had called out to her. There he was, her dear friend and only rival, Uesis. When had he gotten here? When did he even arrive in her kingdom? It had to of been while she was out disposing of the..'problem'. Bellatrix stood, the ribbon still tightly clutched in her hands.
"Hello Uesis. When did you arrive?" She asked, her voice soft and sorrowful. As she looked upon the angel, she noticed no change from the last time he was here..or maybe there was one and she was just too tired and too sad to even notice it.

@Wickedkent

Uesis

Uesis looked at Bellatrix straight in the eye, her eyes were full of sorrow and puffy from crying

"I arrive quite a while ago" He said "I got to talk with those royalty from the light kingdom and
ate some of your food here" He added with a smile

He then looked at the red ribbon and recalled of a girl named 'perdita' in the dark kingdom. He then looked back at bellatrix with a worried face

"Perdita.." He said with a soft voice

"Dont worry... she can always return" He said with a smile

Malephar

Malephar took the bottom half of the canteen and downed it in a couple gulps, and made a face that looked like a man just got stabbed in his private area, "Hoooooooo booooooy.... That'sh ish sho shtrong..." Slurring his words, he got a bit tipsy from that, "It'sh your turn shir."

(Sorry, very late)

Tybolt laughed a bit, and poured some into the canteen half, and drank it, he felt a buzz, but nothing really, "Huh....Hold on." he took the bottle and chuged some down, and then he felt it, "Oh yesh...Theresh...sh...Whoo" he said, a bit slurred as well, but not as bad as the other man, "I don't....think...You can hadle anymore of thish, are you sure you can top that chug shir?" he asked the man, seeing that he was more smashed than him.

Malepahr (Drunk)

Malephar chuckled hysterically, "Shir, I am an Angel. My body can handle more than you--" He collapsed and quickly got back up, "Shir... shir... shir come... come here... I musht tell you a sheeeeecret..." He said moving a finger towards himself, "Come.... come... come here." He grabbed another bottle and downed.... though missing his mouth entirely and ending up on the floor. What? Never said demons can't get drunk.

Tybolt laughed and went over to the man, "Wh-what is it my good shir?" he asked as the man fell down, which sent Tybolt to laugh again, he's never seen someone so drunk before, not for a long while, nt sine he was in the infantry, when they won a battle, the soldiers went and celebrated, and saw that one of them, downed so much rum, it could have supplied a whole ship for a week, that soldier stood up, held a finger in the air, and fell face first with the funniest face on him, "W-what's the shecret shir?" he asked.

Malephar (Drunk)

He whispered, "I'm... i'm not really an Angel..." He said, "Shhhhhhh, don't.... don't the Queen that I--" He fell asleep, he snored. At this point Malephar was at the point where he could pass out for the amount of drink in him, never his life had he gotten this drunk next to a mortal. In fact, he never really got drunk on account of his violence, which he enjoyed but couldn't remember afterwards.

Bellatrix Vincetia

Bellatrix had nearly forgotten the girl could be re-summoned. The issue was..did she have enough power to do so? Likely not. She was tired as is, and her magic needed to be salvaged for tonight's ritual. At the mention of Svenja though, Bellatrix let out a soft sigh. Due to all the commotion she had forgotten that they were also here. "Right.. Do you know where I might find Svenja?" She asked before quickly adding, "I hope you have come prepared for a mass funeral..There will be one quite soon for my city." She said, a long sigh escaping her lips. She had so much to do..and so little time to do it. She wondered if there was any way to lighten the work load..or if maybe she could just ditch responsibility like she craved to, but like usual..the answer was no.

Bellatrix hated what had happened to her city, and the timing was most..impeccable. The Sea King had come just as she had made peace..just as a long war was ending..and now there would be another not long after. They couldn't even hold the celebration anymore due to the funeral that was to be had for all the lives lost. Bellatrix wondered how Svenja might react..would she go home? That would probably be the best thing for her..hopefully she could do it safely since she may also be a target of the Sea King, but there was one thing that nagged on her mind about the attack. Why? Why had the Sea King come for her kingdom and not one that made more..tactical sense? Quanni would e of no use to the man at all. It was constantly dark here and the weather was cold..there usually was never any Summer or Spring. So..why? Was he just randomly attacking out of the blue or..what was it? Hm. She'd get the answer out of her knew sound servant Bryn. She'd make her tell her and the girl would have to tell the truth too.

Uesis

Uesis looked at bellatrix and smirked

"I left them at the hall earlier" He said "With her so called 'husband'."

"That is one thing i really hate... someone lying to me" He said with a smile

His smiled then turned to a frown

"Oh, how tragic.. i shall be there... what benefit would they get from attacking your kingdom? and angering you" He asked

Farryn Naezana

Farryn had been roaming all over Ostleim this morning/afternoon. It was quite the hectic day for the female, as she not only had High Council duties to do, but she was also helping around various hospitals and infirmaries. It was already late day and Farryn was beginning to be ran thin on duties, sh almost would of went home is she didn't want to go bug Sigvald for just a little bit of time. The man was probably quite busy..doing some kind of work, though she hoped he hadn't pushed himself too hard.

Farryn made her way toward where she knew he likely was, because..well its not like he could leave..easily. As she walked, she did her best to stay out of direct sunlight, as her skin and eyes were already aching from how bright it was. Honestly, she needed to find some other way to avoid sunlight other that several layers of clothing that barely worked and made her extremely hot. The woman was covered, head to toe, in bandages, several layers of robes, and a cloak with a hood. This still was not enough as she could feel her skin getting itchy and agitated as well as she was extremely hot..though to anyone who would touch her she would still be ice cold thanks to being a Moon Fey.

Along the way, Farryn picked up a few goodies for her and Sigvald. Many of them being sweets because..well she couldn't help herself. Farryn wanted sweets and while she had some coin, she was going to get some and share with Sigvald should he choose to join her in the snacking of sweets. Thirty or so minutes later Farryn was at the man's house, inside and calling for him.
"Sigvaldddd!! Come here! I've got goodies!!" She yelled, a small giggle following that as she wandered through the house. It felt much better to be inside rather that out. Having a roof to block the sun meant she not longer felt the need to tear her skin off to get it to stop from itching and being irritated. Inwardly she really hoped she hadn't woke him..or bothered him while he was doing something important. Then again..he wouldn't be too mad..right?

Arkos walked through the dark halls of the palace, having secured Dro'Khan in his area and ensured there was plenty of.. 'food' for the Manticore to feast upon, the beast had earned it after the day it had, and more over, for not feeding upon any of the dead. While he had commanded it not to, there was only a certain level of control one could exude over such a beast.

While he was not truly capable of feeling exhaustion, he could almost swore he felt the sensation. A mental trick, a phantom sensation, as if chains had locked around his limbs or he was moving through shallow waters that clung to his body trying to drag him into the depths. One foot stepped in front of the other, pushing him ever onwards as was the story of the Wight King, forever taking another step on the never ending path.

Following the beacon that was his Bella, he finally came to the end of his 'journey', of sorts. She looked.. just as wild as she had when she left him. Blood still covered her body, deep lacerations crossed her body, they would heal, in time, or when she had the energy to do so with her power. His gaze slid down to her hands, the ribbon clutched in it, Perdita's ribbon. Had something happened to the little one? Had one of the Water Kingdom's lackeys made it into the castle? The 'child' was a demon, so she could be brought back easily enough, but the red rings around his Queen's eyes... had she shed tears over it? He couldn't ask, not with the... angel present. It seemed everyone desired to visit his lady today. Arkos stood off to the side, having no desire to speak to the angel that he never had much time for.

Sigvald leaned against the wall, looking out over the city-state from the small window cut out of the solid stone wall of the college. His chambers were not particularly large, but they suited them. His assistant had gone to deliver his newest creations to their destinations.

He ran a gloved hand over his mask, feeling the ridges and new textures he had added moments ago, he had some other projects to start on, but had yet to move. He didn't want to, not yet. His legs were still shaky from his trip to the Patriarch; falling to the stone floor in convulsions wasn't something he particularly desired to happen today.

Sigvald nearly jumped when the door opened and a voice came in, a very excited voice followed by a giggle, Ryn. He wasn't expecting her, but then, did anyone expect Ryn? With the visiting King, he was surprised she found the time to visit, but then, it was like her to drop by when he least expected her, she had a habit of surprising him, and most other Ostlanders.

"In here,"
Sigvald called out the door, not sure he wanted, or was even ready for, the 'goodies' she brought.

Bellatrix Vincetia

Bellatrix gave a small sigh at his words and shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine, Uesis." She said before glancing over at Arkos out of her peripheral vision. He had never really liked the angel, but he was still a respectable man to him nonetheless. Though, looking at Arkos she was reminded what an absolute mess she must look like. Appearances. Something she unfortunately had to keep. "Right, well anyways, you are welcome to stay for the funeral..but I ask that if you see Reaghal or Queen Svenja that you tell them of it and to be ready should they wish to attend, other than that..I bid a farewell for now." She said and gave him a small wave goodbye before turning on her heel and walking toward her chambers.

She figured Arkos would follow, but if he choose not to that was fine as well. He had free will as of..well the rest of the afternoon/night. On her way toward her chambers, her mind would wander again to why Bryn had said. Did..did he think he was her slave? Bellatrix hoped not..maybe she could..ask?
"Arkos.." She started, not wishing to say anything out loud, as..well her kingdom seemed to be quite the busy one today and there was no telling who or what might be listening. Bellatrix hesitated, not sure how to ask him about it..or even if she should..

Belltrix sighed deeply, continuing to make her way to her chambers; her mind still heavily debating on how to ask him..
"Would..you like to spend the evening with me?" She asked, decided it was best to ignore asking the other question until she knew how to phrase it properly.

Farryn Naezana

Farryn smiled when she heard his voice come from a bedroom. So he was up, and he didn't seem to be mad at her so..that was a good sign. Slowly she made her way toward him, her eyes wandering the house. It felt like a long time since she had last been here, and it probably had been..but when someone was as busy as she was..it was hard to visit friends. Most of her free time was spent getting what sleep she could, which..wasn't much.

As she entered his room, she first noticed the open window with the sun coming in, making her skin itchy. Near the window was the man himself. He wasn't very tall..actually he and her were probably close in height thanks to her genes. After seeing him, her sapphire eyes wandered the room, taking it all in before she would back to him. Her smile softened as she approached the younger man, her hand lightly touching she shoulder as she came to stand next to him, her eyes wandering the edges of his mask.

"Hey." She said softly, the bandaged hand she placed on his shoulder slowly coming off and resting by her side. "How are you feeling today?" She asked him, tilting her head to the left a little bit. She was concerned about him, that much showed in her voice..but she was also a little worried about him since she had heard about him being told to make a gift for the visiting King. She had heard that what he made was beautiful..and she was sure it was..but she was afraid he might of hurt himself or caused his nose to bleed from using the power too much..or something else.

Arkos stood off to the side when Bella talked to the angel and then took her leave, likely to go to her chambers and change, she would not need him for that. He started to make his way to his own chambers when her voice made him pause, he wasn't sure what she could need from him at the moment, so he waited...

And then he froze when she asked him if he desired to sleep with her, it... it wasn't the first time as they had lived together for a long, long time, but never before had she asked him. Arkos knew she was feeling vulnerable after the day's events, but never would he have expected that. He wasn't sure what to do, or say. He wasn't in any condition to... do anything, and moreover, would it be good for her to continually latch onto him like that?... But he wanted to. It was a simple fact inside of him that desired her still and it was nearly overwhelming.

"If that is what you desire," Arkos finally said, leaving it up to her.

"I am not dead yet," Sigvald said, looking over his childhood friend, the only person besides himself that could not bear the sun's harsh rays. He reached up and pulled on the rope, closing the curtains to the window to shut out the light. The room was still dimly lit by small stones enchanted to give off a constant soft light.

He couldn't see much of her face, not under her hood even if he was sitting on a ledge. Sigvald tilted his head to the side, curious as to what she brought with her on her visit,
"So, how did the meeting go?" he asked for conversation's sake, and, well, he was mildly curious as to the outcome of the meeting he had created a gift for.

Bellatrix Vincetia

Bellatrix continued to make her way there, a small smile dancing across her lips at his words. "I wouldn't ask if I want you to darling." She answered back as she hand met the knob of her chambers. She opened the door and entered, shutting it behind her before she started to undress. It didn't take long for her to get her clothes off and to examine herself in a near by mirror.

Her entire right side was sliced to bits and blood covered most of that side. Her hair was a crimson red from tip to about the mid length, making an oddly beautiful combination with the amethyst color she originally had. Honestly she could help but look at the way the colors mixed..making a nice gradient of dark magenta and Tyrian Purple. The dark color or her own blood stood out against her deathly pale skin. A sight she had not seen in several years.

Bellatrix stood there, staring for a long time. She wasn't just examining the damage..she was also thinking..debating..how to ask Arkos? He couldn't lie to her..but she feared the answer. In the past she knew she treated him like a tool..a weapon at her command and obedient slave...but was he still considered to be her slave? She had crossed the line today..but he had forgiven her.perhaps not completely..but she would make to up to him..somehow.

Farryn Naezana

Farryn's skin completely stopped with the itching sensation, allowing her to now take down her hood. She reached up and took off the dark hood, her face now much more revealed. Her white-blonde hair lighting up in the soft glow of the room, her sapphire eyes a dark contrast to her skin and the little dark freckles that littered her cheeks and nose now very visible compared to how light her skin was. At his words, she'd frown and give him a rather hard look. "Hey now. Don't think like that. I'm serious..I know you made something for the visiting king and it was quite..extravagant. How bad of a toll did that take?" She asked, her voice much harder tan before as she came to stand in front of him, her right hand resting on her hip.

As she now stood in front of him, her hood down and face completely visible, he would be able to tell just how tired she really was. Farryn had a slight purple-y blue discoloration under eyes that mixed with the newly forming bags from sleep deprivation.
"As for the meeting..We decided not to ally with them. It was not worth the trouble of being associated with their allies the Plant Kingdom. They are well known slave traders and you know how we are." She gave a sigh and a small eye roll. Slaves. They were disgusting and she hated the thought of anyone being one. The poor things were taken without consent and sold..what a terrible fate.It was even more saddening and concerning to know it could possibly happen to her due to rarity of her race. That or she could be hunted. Both very unfortunate.
