Fantasy The War

Tybolt figured that as much when one of the dark queen's soldier invited him for a drink, "Yes...I've come to think that as such...I did have a few to drink with a soldier from here..." he mumbled those last words, "So...What of me ma'am? No war pretty much means I'm out of a job...Since, we're only made for battles, and not guard duty..." he said feeling a bit upset that he doesn't have anything to do anymore, but something came to mind, something that made him feel a bit happy, and scared, to ask, "So...No war means I don't have to wear this armor your kingdom anymore...Right ma'am?" he asked feeling scared that she might take his position away and shove him back to Infantry.

She looked at him. "You are right. You are out of duty. Right now, you may take off the armor right now. You may be a man again. However in the case of war..." Svenja got up. "You can actually help me. Report back as soon as you are out of armor. I need you in diplomatic causes."

Tybolt nodded and walked, and made his way to a tavern(God I hope that's a bed and breakfast) to change.

Tybolt made it to his room, he stood in the middle of the room, trying to figure out how he get's out of the damned thing, "How in the God's name, do I get out of my armor again?" he said and started pulling arm and leg guards off, then came the torso piece, it was a pain to get off, since it was mostly solid blood steel(Red steel, my thoughts:Tougher than regular), he tossed it on the floor which made a loud *THUD*. "Whoops..." he said. But there was 1 problem, "Uh...I don't have any civilian clothes..." he said, and put the chain mail back on and his boots, he looked ridicules. He walked out and made his way to a clothing shop, he had lots of money to pay for what he wanted, which was a red dyed deer skin shirt, and black dyed pants, and a pair of boots. They had to get some really big ones, as he was a very buff-ish man, arms the size of whole hams, and a torso the size of a small cow. He payed the seller and made his way to the castle again.

Tybolt arrived, he started to rub his arms, "Though I can control fire...It's freezeing when you're out of your armor! Brrr!" he said, he was wondering why the shop keeper was giving him strange looks when he asked for a short sleeve shirt, "Alright...What's my mission ma'am?" he asked the queen.

Bryn Maeve

When Bryn died, she didn't expect to stay dead. But she did expect to stay dead for longer than a few moments. It felt like no time at all before her eyes snapped open, and agony spread over her entire body. Her very skin seemed to be... Shrinking. She stared at her arm with confusion, watching her skin blacken and wrinkle. She was... Decaying. Decaying right in front of her eyes. Her once beautiful, fair skin was... Decomposed.

In just a few moments, she was transformed. Her formerly bright blue eyes were... Dead. She looked up at the Queen with a look of the utmost, purest hatred. She reached for her sword before remembering that the Queen knocked it away. Instead, she stood, head held high. A dagger was in her hand, hidden behind her back. She would have to strike fast if she wanted to kill the monstrosity before she made the fated order that Bryn couldn't harm her.

Bryn struck like a viper, lashing out at the Queen's neck.

@Cosmo @xEmoBunnehx

Bellatrix didn't flinch at all when Bryn rose to her feet with a dagger in hand, actually she didn't say a word to the girl before the dagger was a mere centimeter in front of her neck. "Stop and bow before you Queen." She commanded, knowing full well Bryn would have to, but before the girl could Bellatrix would rip Arkos's sword out of her chest and twirl it around like before. Honestly in amused her to know that Bryn would forever hate her, but could do nothing to hurt her and must do every command perfectly, without disobeying. The girl couldn't even lie to her. After giving out her command, she would look to Arkos, "Darling.." She gave a small smile to Arkos before she stopped spinning his blade and held the hilt out to him. "Here's this back." She said before directing her attention back to Bryn, It filled her pleasure to know the siren was under her command, and would serve as one of her own body guards, or servant for the rest of eternity. She cared not how much the girl would hate a resent her, nor did she care if the girl thought of ways to kill her in her mind, the point as..she no longer could. What a joy~

Bryn Maeve

Bryn froze, her blade a centimeter from the creature's neck. Her entire body shook as she fought the command, teth bared and grit. For perhaps three seconds, she wrestled with it before dropping the dagger abruply, and kneeling before her, pure rage flaming in her eyes. The Queen had stopped her that time, but she hadn't outright forbid Bryn from killing or harming her. She kept that in mind, along with at least three dozen possible ideas of how to make use of the information. The woman had to be beheaded to die, and Bryn couldn't risk making her death slow. It would be fast, one slice, one head disconnected. The need to bow faded after she fulfilled the order.

Hmm... So these orders can be bent slightly. She told me to bow, but not how long to bow for... Interesting.

Bryn rose to her feet and walked toward her sword, picking it up and sheathing it. "Your... Majesty." Sarcasm and defiance dripped from her tone as she stared down the Queen at eye level. She didn't make a move to attack, keeping her stance passive.

Arkos watched the process before him, one he had watched hundreds of times, and never was it an easy sight nor an enjoyable one for him as it was, in this case, for Bellatrix. He watched as her flawless skin withered to dust, her luxurious hair dried... the beautiful, ferocious eyes were dead inside. The beautiful Siren had become a wight and so her cursed vigil would begin.

He did not bother to attempt to stop her maddened charge, it was a fools errand. Doomed to failure, better they learned now that there was no disobedience, sure, many tried to test the limits of the chains, tried to think of a way around it, but they never could. As the years went by, the weight of what they become would slowly sink in on them, until they either accept what they are and whom they serve or the memory of who they once were dissolved away as had happened with many of the other Wights.

Arkos reached out to grip the offered handle, taking his blade back from her and sliding it back into the sheath, ignoring the siren blood that still clung to the rusted blade, there was little harm it could do to the magical sword. He crossed his hands behind his back, as he watched the... new Wight and the newest addition to his personal unit.

"The Siren has fallen. The Queen decided to turn her into a Wight as punishment, she will be under your... care," Arkos said feeling Adeliza had earned the information as she had found the Siren.

Raeghal stood in silence as Queen Svenja treated his wounds,holding her hand for a second once it rested upon his chest. He had many things he wanted to say to her,although they were pushed aside once a soldier entered the room. He bowed his head lightly in greeting,standing in a more professional way.

"It's good to make your acquaintance,soldier."

His eyes drifted back to the Queen,focusing on her as she spoke her orders.

"Do you require anything of me as well,my queen?" He went back to his original tone,not wanting to show their proximity in front of a stranger.

Bellatrix laughed, "You'll learn there is nothing you can do to disobey or harm me~" She mused before letting out a sigh and walked towards Arkos. "Bryn. You have exactly one hour to get from here to the castle, on foot. Before you dare think you can leave Nubar, you must go to the Undertaker and find out how long it will take him and his team to prepare the bodies for tonight's funeral. Once you get to the castle, you'll need to wait for me in the throne room until I arrive. Your hour starts now." She commanded as she stopped before Arkos and reached out, cupping his bony jaw. "We'll need to get back to the castle soon Arkos..there's no telling what has transpired there.." She took her hand away slowly. "Call Dro' Khan so we may get there as fast as possible." Her words toward him were soft, compared to the command she had just given the newly turned Wight. Towards Arkos, she much more kind and her eyes no longer held the rage they had before, now they were just sad and very tired..something she would only show to him. "I promise..I'll make it up to him and you..somehow.."

Svenja smiled at Ragehal in a way she would smile to a close servant. "Wait a a moment. Sir Tybolt is more important right here. My dearest, do you think you are able to write this treaty down in your nicest writing?" Svenja gave him what she had quickly written before her and Raeghal left.

Raeghal didn't show any emotions,nodding to the words of his queen. But inside,he could feel the pain smashing against his chest. Sir Tybolt was another reminder that Raeghal was simply a servant,no matter how highly the queen thought of him. He followed her to the exit of the room.

Once they were out of sight and too far to be heard,he had a rare moment of anger. Raeghal turned to the wall and smashed his hand against it,much like the Queen used to do when she was anger. The wall broke under his blow,and he took a deep breath.

"That...was irrational. I apologize."

He could almost see the face of the nobles who would try to get closer to Svenja in that wall.

@Ami the breadling

Xentrev

Xentrev was appalled at what he witnessed. He witnessed the entire fight, his own champion, murdering another kingdoms citizen. Xentrev turned and headed back for his ship, murdered... in cold... blood? What exactly were Bloodseekers made of? Iron? Gold? Bone marrow and chunks of fleshy meat? He knew not and cared not. He was just extrememly mad that his champion killed an opposing kingdoms citizen.

Svenja looked at him. "W-why did you do that right now?", she confusedly asked. The queen looked at his hand. "I don't need you more injured that you are already!"

"I...was thinking,my queen. About how I can’t give you the future that you deserve. I really wish that I could be the noble you deserve. And I know that I’m usually a leveled person,but all these emotions are confusing to me.”

He lowered his head,hoping she would understand.

Svenja looked at him. She could not hold herself longer. Svenja passionately kissed her champion, then blushing. "S... sorry." Without waiting for an answer, she began walking further. Her own actions embarrassed her, she did not act like a queen at all. Who was she? A teenager? She was a royal and supposed to have control over her emotions.

This time,Raeghal was prepared. He wrapped his arms tightly around the Queen,then kissed her back with his pure passion. He quickly followed her as she stepped away,a smile obvious in his face.

"Please don't apologize for doing what I have always wanted you to do."

Bryn Maeve

Bryn glared at her for half a second before turning, back as straight as a pole, and walked towards the coroner's office. The second she walked in, she counted four people that looked terrified or made some kind of religious symbol.

"I was sent by... The Queen." She managed, teeth grit. "How long will the bodies take to prepare?" She asked gratingly.

"Just... Just a few hours." The coroner said, pale with fear.

"Make it so." The Siren... The Dead Siren growled, walking toward the castle where she would wait. In the throne room. Like the slave that she was.

Svenja ignored Raeghal, having her hands clenched to fists. She quickly found a bath and was glad to see that she could get clothes to bath in too. That made stuff way less complicated and weird. "Wait for me inside.", she said, took what she expected to fit and went to change.

((after 6 days in isolation I finally get to rejoin the plot yay!))

Alexander had been flying towards the harbor when he heard the clangs of steel due to his hearing. Fortunately, they stopped while he and Tina were in observing distance of the harbor. From what he could see, it looked as though someone, a very beautiful someone had just been turned into some sort of new servant for Bellatrix. ~Sheesh, remind me never to get on her bad side ever~ Alexander thought to himself. Soon, the new servant disappeared and then Alexander landed in front of Queen Bellatrix before helping Tina off his back and then bowing to the queen. "Your majesty, I sensed there was fighting so I remained hidden. Unfortunately, the princess here, Tina, wants to go home so when I began my return to the harbor. Fortunately as it seems, you've handled the situation quite well. What am I to do next? Oh before I forget, I have something of importance I wish to discuss with you and our other royal friend."

@Ami the breadling

Raeghal reacted with confusion,but nodded to the order. He waited inside,hoping that he hadn't somehow offended the Queen.

Arkos eyed the Siren as she received her orders and left to fulfill them, something she would have to learn to deal with, or well, she could never learn, it would make little difference. The Curse of the Wight gave little thought to personal goals or vendettas. Arkos stiffened as he received his own orders and through his mask, called forth Dro'Khan using his helm that bound the beast to him.

The large manticore bounded across a nearby roof before pouncing down into the streets, flicking its wings back as the large beast came to a stop near him, nuzzling the side of his armor with its large snout searching for something, but a quick brush of his hand against Dro'Khan's mane stopped the search. Not wanting to waste more time, Arkos swung himself up and onto the Manitcores back and held his hand down to the queen... but he stopped at the look in her eyes.

She looked so.. drained.
"I look forward to it, but let us get you into bed first, you need rest," Arkos said, more worried for her being then he was getting any unneeded recompense.

Even as the.. whomever that was with the child arrived, Arkos kept his hand extended for his Queen.

@xEmoBunnehx @ThatOneWeirdo @Clockwork Syringe

Bellatrix turned toward Alexander, a long sigh escaping her as she thought on his words for a moment. What should they do about the child? Did she even have a father to return to at this point? Maybe..but it was hard to tell since the champion has been slain..though if this girl was the 'princess' then she might be taking over the Water Kingdom..and at a very young age as well. How..unfortunate. Regardless, Bellatrix only shook her head, "Take her back to the castle, I'll figure something out." was all she had to say about that. Bellatrix then turned on her heel and used Arkos's hand to boost herself up onto the beast, then once on her arms around wrap around his waist and her head rest on his back. She was tired, but had lots of work to do. There was no telling what happened to her castle while she was gone or what Queen Svenja was up to. Hell she wouldn't be surprised if the woman wrote up the papers then went to do something or entertaining.

Bellatrix's eyes feel closed as she rested her head on Arkos's back, once more sighing.
"If only I could rest..but I unfortunately cannot..who knows what has happened at my castle..and I still must lead the funeral for my people.." Even her voice through their link sounded exhausted. It was only just the evening and Bellatrix was ready to lay down and rest for the rest of the day..if only she could. "Alexander..I do hope you have clothes of mourning..We shall be having a funeral soon." She explained to him from behind Arkos, her voice dull and emotionless to mask how tired she really was.

@Ami the breadling

"Unfortunately, I do not have any clothes of mourning your majesty as I've been traveling for 7 long years. I've been studying the world, but I've never had this happen to me. Although this is not my kingdom, I am flattered that you would consider me in attendance. As for Tina, the princess, I'm not sure that she would be comfortable flying on my back as is. About the matter of importance I need to meet with you and your guest about, we can do it at your convenience. However, I would stress that we should tackle this matter sooner rather than later.

Tybolt watched as the queen walked away without giving him orders, "Uh..." was all he could muster as she did not say 'at ease' so he had to stay at attention, just like training told him to. He waited until she was out of sight before shrugging and walking off, maybe back to the tavern for some of that blood wine, it was a very nice drink, and did make him feel better, he just wonders what the people in the tavern will think of him without armor.

Tybolt arrived at the tavern, and everyone just glared at him, "...What? I'm off duty for once..." he said and walked in and took a seat in a corner, a waitress, hotter than the sun itself, came over and served him some of the wine he had before he left, "Thank you my dear!" he said and took a good sip. He still had a nice pocket full of gold and silver. Tybolt thought he saw a diamond in his pouch somewhere...

Malephar

Malephar walked steadily through the Dark Kingdom, his footsteps making small thuds, his wings fluttering gently behind him with each small swing of his body. He was whistling softly, What to do today... He thought, 254 years old and nothing to do, granted Demons don't really age or die of old age, being immortal and whatnot. Passing all manner of Demon and other other-wordly beings, though possibly being oldest Demon to be in the Dark Kingdom right now that he knew of.
