Cathrin looked at Ember with a eyebrow raised. "challenging Somiss is a death wish, I best go, if you challenge him, he'll kill you out of anger." Cathrina said firmly, she turned to go and only took one step in the opposite direction before her legs lost their feeling. They felt so cold she couldn't feel them. "No no no." She said as she turned her head, at the funnel entrance stood Somiss, and his eyes were full of rage and amusement. His eyes kept on her.


Somiss was amused with Cathrinas fear and pain, how long he had chased her, her betrayal wouldn't be punished so easily. Somisses eyes went to her brain, Cathrina opens her mouth to scream in pain but passes out unconcious before she could do so. He looked at the others. "If none of you intervene then none of you shall come to harm." his voice a bone chilling cold of politeness.

Ruxx would turn to the man called Somiss and take a step forward, no fear at all showing on his face. On the contrary, a wide grin spread on his face as he looked at the man, then down to the strange woman.


"You know, I'm all for knocking people out, but abducting damsels in distress? That's not something I can allow. At least not when I'm conscious."





His arms would light on fire slightly as he stepped forward, the flames a little too bright to look at.





"I'm not that big on fighting, but I won't hesitate if you don't back off."

Somiss looked down at the man, who would dare confront him. His eyes traveled to the mans forehead, and Somiss clenched his staff. All blood vessels in the mans brain would begin to freeze, causeing a brain freeze but 10 times worse, just like he had done on Cathrina earlier. The only way to stop him is from diverting Somisses eyes away from the man. Somiss was t hurting him, he was trying to KILL him. Somisses anger and rage brought amusement, silly men. Thinks they can command him! Ice spikes began to float around Somiss, getting ready to impale the man.

Ruxx would clutch his head, a large headache forming, groaning from the pain. He could feel a slight chill come over him, but luckily, the Phoenix blood inside him stopped it from becoming any worse. Bearington would let out a large roar and charged this Somiss, knocking him over and sinking his fire fangs into Somiss' arm. As soon as he was knocked over, Ruxx fell to a knee, the pain gone but leaving him a little weaker than before.

Ember couldn't stand by and watch this continue, without hesitation she swung her extended sword at Somiss coming close to wrapping it's deadly whip around his neck. Looking around she spotted smaller quartz crystals close to her right foot, it was a good handful but it would be more than enough for what she needed them for quickly sticking her sword in the ground; Ember scooped up the crystals empowered them with both angelic light and fire. Without hesitation she threw them at Somiss, a combination of both light and fire made them flash a blinding bright blinding just before exploding like little bombs after. Ember grabbed her sword from the ground, " everyone go now!!! " she yelled.

Somiss flinched and fell into his back as the man charged him. As soon as he got back up, the Angel girl threw crystals at him, blinding him for a moment. Somiss slammed the but of his staff on the ground. And all around them exept the tunnel, ice thick ice walls began to break the ground, rising up and forming a circle of ice around them, the only escape would be to fly out, the walls rose as tall as a giant, the walls were to thick to melt, you would have to have a lot of fire or fire powers to break it. Trapping them all together.


"Nobody's leaving" Somisses said coldly his eyes moved to the mans standing knee. A smirk formed on Somisses lips. Ice shards began to swirl a wound Somiss, then two shards went at the mans knee, one misses but the other dig itself right into his leg. Somisses eye then flickered to the Angel. He looked at their legs. The a spell began where, the legs would get so cold, you wouldn't be able to feel your legs, or get any feeling or support for that matter. Somisses gritted his teeth at a sharp pain in his right arm. The crystals she had thrown at him were embedded in his arm, a small piece then a rather large one. Somiss eyes flared with anger at the Angel.

Ruxx, his strength returning, felt the sharp pain of ice ram through his leg. He refused to shout out in pain, but gritted his teeth as he placed his left hand on his and heated his hand intensely. The ice melted at a rapid place and he was able to stand again, albeit a little slower than he would like. With the man distracted, he ran over to him quickly and super heated his hand until it was red hot, and then placed it on his right arm, directly on a piece of crystal. The very touch of his hand would cause a third degree burn, and after placing his hand there for about five seconds, he ran back to the fallen angel girl, gasping a little for breath.


"Okay, I can get us out of here. I just need a few minutes to get into Phoenix form. You need to stall for time!"

" Leos do what you can we can stall him, Somiss is after you young one... Please get away while you still can we've got this " she said before her legs collapsed beneath her due to the spell. Flinching in pain as she tried to stand but it was in vain, seeing the crystals in his arm she got and idea. Using her extended sword she swung it at him wrapping it around his right leg, focusing on the crystals she caused them to erupt in flames; Ember then pulled her sword that still had it's grip on Somiss's leg. Hoping it would knock him off balance while injuring him at the same time.

Ruxx wasted no time, whistling sharply to Bearington, who ran over to him and touched his nose to Ruxx's arm, and was instantly absorbed into Ruxx. He then crouched as he summoned fire to his arms. He would hum a strange tune as he crouched on the ground, and as he continued to hum, the flames on his arms grew in intensity, traveling from his arms to his back.


"Just a few more minutes...."

As the lich scoured the book pages his mind raced with the possibilities. Such wonder! Such ideas! Not only did it contain its fair share of useful spells, it also had lists of potions and other alchemical things that could be of use. He knew this book would have a few more things in store if he decided to spend more time on it. But that could wait until he could be somewhere undisturbed. Arcturus puts the tome away into his bag and walks off in the direction from where he originally came to this neck of the woods. As he walks he comes into what looked like the remains of a large camp. The fire had died to embers and there seemed to be little occurring here. With the exception of the few people he had seen today, he could say the same for this region as a whole.

"with pleasure"leos said picking up his sword he went back into his dragon form and flew up a bit and taking a deep breath he let it out with a roar as flames engulfed Somiss, then started to dive down to him bringing his sword down on Somiss.
