Fantasy The War Between Wolves

Molloch wanted blood - wanted to see it drain away like it was the impurity of the werewolves, but-

A voice, edging in on his clouded mind. It commanded him to stop.

Was he a mere beast, or Twilight Moon? Instinct screamed to go for the jugular, but respect begged him to cease as ordered. Cinder, that was the voice. The fog began to fade away-

Away and into the recognition pain. It was a short fight, but as usual, he had overdone himself and managed to push his body beyond what it could sustain.

"C-... Cinder? Is there another fight worth my attention." His vision still had the blackness of unrestrained fury on its perimeter, only categorizing those it saw as friend or foe.

How her throat looked tender.

Instead of arguing with her superior she allowed it to be. Ravens eyes surveyed the rest of the pack, she distanced herself from most. Raven leaned against a tree being insulated by the sun rays, her fist compressed and relaxed a couple of timesquestioning the tension n the atmosphere. After scanning the packs numbers, she noticed the Alpha male not being among them who would originally be beside Cider. 'Is this what is causing her to become emotionally unstable?' She questioned.

Kara hesitantly relaxed. A little. She shifted back into her human form, still glaring at the mutt who attacked her. "Are my mate and child safe?" She asked Cinder. While the two didn't usually get along, Cinder knew knew the importance of family

"...Your mate is fine." She muttered, rather gruffly, the subject still tender, "And I haven't seen your child even enter the premises." She looked at Molloch, "The fighting is officially over, thank God. I can help you back to the pack if you need me too." She offered. The way Cinder was showing kindness was strange, but she still knew where her position in the pack lied, and knew her pack knew that as well. @Ranulf01 @Rainy83

Relief flooded over Kara. Those two were the only things holding her together. But she knew that the subject was still very sore for Cinder. "I am sorry" she muttered. She didn't want to get too touchy, but Kara couldn't imagine having Leon taken from her

It was over? The finality of it... He hoped that implied their fortunate deaths, but knew it meant a ceasefire. A truce with the Burning Sun... It...

It felt terribly wrong, it- It made him angry.

"You- We'd ally ourselves with them, these sniveling cowards who would forget all that's been done to us?"

A low snarl wanted to crawl out of his mouth, but... He choked it back, hardly. So be it, he'd respect the accord, but not them.

"...I'm a wolf of Twilight Moon, I'd be useless if I couldn't at least carry myself."

"Molloch, I never said we were allying. Not yet. I just want to discuss these disappearances. I want to get to the bottom of this before we even think about becoming allies. Quit jumping to conclusions." Cinder snapped, although it didn't have its stern edge to it. "Now, I suggest that the two of you meet up with your packs to we can at least get a conversation going. I know Longshank gets rather antsy at times like these." With that, Cinder shifted into her wolf form and trotted back to her pack. Becoming a human at her destination, Cinder looked around. She felt ashamed that she let her pack give in so quickly. It made their weakness become evident, and she didn't want the Burning Sun taking advantage of their weakness. Cinder looked up at Caster with an unsure expression, as if to say, 'Are you sure this was a smart decision?' @everyone

Not being in open conflict had little differentiation from an alliance in his eyes, but he wouldn't press the issue. He continued to stew in quiet rage as he limped back to the bay, casting a baleful eye back at Kara to ensure she wouldn't pounce upon him as his back was turned.

"You know nothing of sorry," were his parting words to her.

He was nothing if not suspicious.

Ravens eyes locked upon the return of Cinder. Lifting a brow towards her she suddenly cleared her throat towards her, and gestured her hand out towards Cinder awaiting for an explanation of what had happened.

"Found him." said Sirius loudly, standing up and facing the west. "At a small abandoned island on the West edge of Arcore. Loki's corpse has been skinned. I am ready to lead the way." he looked at Cinder.

Cinder looked at Raven, not wanting to even talk about it. "We really can't discuss this tonight? I'd prefer not to flaunt my weaknesses in front of the enemy.." She muttered. She still had a knot in her stomach from the events that had happened, and there was no doubt that if she started talking about Loki's death she would go into her blind rage again. When Sirius announced that he found Loki's body, Cinder just looked at Raven to let her know that Loki's death was the answer.

The Alpha worried about what would happen if she saw Loki's body. She feared that she would slip back into the side of herself that she so desperately has been trying not to be. "I-I don't know if I want to go.." Cinder muttered, "I don't trust your word, but if you were right, I most definitely don't want to see the corpse. @Raven @Zer0

Instead of being concerned her original impassiveness raised along her facial. Raven was blank and unreadable of her thoughts as she approached Cinder calmly. A hand settled to rest upon her shoulder blade "I will go with you. Its best to face your weakness then hide from it." Raven, replied with no emotion lingering within her voice, however she did allow Cinder to hint her sincerity and concern.

Cinder sighed, before looking about the two packs and then back at Sirius. "Lead the way." She said, choking up a bit. With that, she shifted into her human form and waited for Sirius to take them to the corpse of her mate.

Sirius led them to the abandoned island guided by the ravens.

A few hours later he arrived in the area and saw Loki's skinned body. "There." He told Cinder quietly. He stepped aside for her and the rest of the Twilight Moon pack and kept a respectful distance behind them. "Search the area." he told the ravens. "We might see the murderer yet."

As soon as Leon heard the tightening of the alpha female's muscles he launched himself forward, but his teeth met nothing but air. She had been pulled back is seemed. There was not going to be a fight. Leon knew this in his mind, but his body wasn't listening. His body was waiting to tear into an enemy. He couldn't feel anything but a thrumming in his head. His eyesight was tinged with red, and everything around him was muted into a faraway muffled sound. How long would he be trapped in his battle trance? He was trapped in his own mind, his body being a prison, cutting him off from everything around him. He knew what he looked like to others; his eyes would be black and his body would be rigid with his hackles raised, ears down, and teeth exposed. His pack-mate had told him what he looked like once, and he expressed how worried he was everytime it happened. He simply decided to wait, hoping something could get him out of his stupor quicker than coming back to his senses himself.

((Okay guys, I'm probably going to wait for everyone to hop back on and get active before I do anything, so my next post may not be until tomorrow.))

Laikas had always been a cautious person, never straying too far into territory unless invited to do so. Information was always quick to reach his ears regardless of where it came from, and this information had led him to a brawl. He had expected this to happen, however, two packs that had been at each other's throats before were oft at each other's throats again: humans, wolves, werewolves, all were the same in this manner, at least in Laikas' experience. He'd rolled his eyes when he watched the conflict begin and laid down a fair distance away from the action in his wolf form, his ears open to see if he could catch any important words being exchanged by either side. There were none, much to his disappointment.

He glanced between either side, he could sell information to either of them, or both of them, though he always felt somewhat safer in the company of Cinder and her pack; merely because of the discipline and respect she commanded. Ghost stood and padded downwards into the remnants of the skirmish after it had ended. He took it all in, the sight, the smell, the noises, all were oddly beautiful to him. He shook off the trance after a moment and after a pause he started padding after the Twilight Moon pack. He knew some didn't trust him, and some may have even loathed him, but he'd prefer to get food and shelter from them than from anyone else.

Flora rolled over and she woke up and lazily opened her eyes, she then shifted into her human form and noticed that no one was there, she giggled at the situation, "Oh, Did you oversleep again?" She asked herself stretching. With a yawn, she replied "I guess so" she changed her clothes and ran out of the pack sleeping quarters and began to search for someone anyone. "Hello! Good morning? Or afternoon? I'm not too sure" she wandered deeper into the woods "Hello? Mom? Dad? Anyone?" She said trying her best not to panic as she continued to search. She shifted into her wolf *cough* pup *cough* form and ran further into the woods in search of her pack. @Coal @Rainy83

Luna noticed how angered and tense Leon looked, and padded towards him, still in human form. When she noticed his jet black eyes, she knew what had happened. Kneeling in front of him, she held her hands on either side of his muzzle, and tried to calm him down with her own forest green eyes, with flecks of gold, silver and blue. "Leon? It's okay, I'm here." The other pack seemed to seclude themselves, and she was glad. Her brother looked like he was going to tear someone apart at any moment. She knew that when he had composed himself that they would be going back to their territory, but she wouldn't be. She was still planning on exploring the island, whether it was their land or not.

Accalia sighed in relief when the brawl ended, though still not emerging from the trees. Blood generally ran high after a brawl, and she would rather not get the brunt of it, as oft seemed to happen in a fight. Instead, she watched from a respectful distance, her blood red eyes the most visible things about her. It was then she noticed a new wolf, one that wasn't part of either pack, approaching from a distance. Unable to control her curiosity, she headed towards him, keeping a submissive stance in case she was noticed by her other pack members. Once over there, she gave him a questioning look, as if to ask who he was.

Kara headed off towards where her pack was clustered. As she neared them, she saw Luna practically cradling Leon. Fear froze her in her steps. But Cinder said that he was okay. She said that no fighting had happened. And she was right. Kara could smell no blood. Anywhere. But she knew then, why Leon was shaking. His rage. So she ran to him, sliding down by Luna.

Luna looked over at Kara with a slight frown, and stubbornly muttered, "Shouldn't you be caring for your daughter?Im pretty sure she has been left on her own somewhere." She was always concerned for both Leon's and Kara's parenting skills, Flora was almost always left on her own. "I can handle this, it's okay." She rolled her eyes, clenching her fists as she sat down infront of her brother and changed forms. It had all happened so quickly, as if she were there one second, and not the next, except she was, but in her wolf form. Her white and orangey cream fur shone in the sunlight, and she stretched up to Leon, clasping her jaws around the scruff of his neck and trying to pull him away from the chaos. It was a move that he used to do to her in order to move her away from danger, but now the tables had turned, and she was trying to pull away her much larger brother.

Laikas stopped in his tracks; something was approaching him and he couldn't quite see what it was. Likely one of the packs' wolves, he was almost relieved to find himself being approached by a wolf with blood red eyes. As she approached, Laikas noticed her submissive stance and ever so curious look which seemed to ask 'Who are you?' He turned to face her and bowed his head slightly, studying the wolf for a moment and, ever cautious, glanced around to see if any more wolves were approaching. Laikas looked her in the eye after a moment, and would have smiled had he been in his human form, "Hello there. I don't suppose you've ever met me before or seen me before for that matter." He raised his head and looked her in the eye, "My name is Ghost."
