The Walking Dead RP

Sky found some bandages and a couple first aid kits and hastily shoved them into the basket. They wouldn't be too helpful if they got bit, but other injuries happened.
 
Jamie grabbed a couple of hairbrushes that she saw and placed them in the basket. She continued walking around and found some folded up t-shirts on a shelf. She grabbed them all putting them into her basket and running back over to Sky. "I found some more shirts," she said a bit excitedly, smiling.
 
Sky smiled brightly. "Wonderful," she said. "I found some medicine." She dropped a couple bottles of pills into the basket.
 
Jamie laughed a bit as she grabbed the boxes. She looked out the front windows of the store at the three houses across the street. "Should we go through the houses and leave before nightfall or check to see if any of them are safe enough to stay the night in so that we aren't rushing around tonight?"
 
"I don't want to risk sleeping in the houses," Sky shook her head. "But we could check them. I think it'd be safer to just put the seats down and make a mattress out of blankets in the back seat."
 
Jamie nodded. "Okay, lets go out this stuff away. We probably have about 1 and a half to two hours until sunset." She started to walk to the front of the store, looking outside for any nearby walkers.
 
Sky nodded, picking up her basket and bat. She looked out the window to make sure it was was clear before going out and popping the trunk.
 
Jamie followed and opened the back door of the van. She took the cans out of the basket and placed them into the box. When she had removed all the cans, she took out the rest of the items, placing them in other designated places throughout the van.
 
Jay had a knife in both hands, swiveling on one foot to keep an eye on all of the brain-munchers as she called them. Her hair was pinned up so that it was off of her neck and that they couldn't grab it. Blood was splattered on her Star Wars shirt that said, "Star Wars Coffee, May the froth be with you." Only a few brain munchers surrounded her, but her heart pounded anyways. Just a scratch from these fellas could turn you into one.


As she turned on her heal, she sung "Eye of the Tiger" and stabbed one of them in the eye. One of them tried to chew her shoulder off, but Jay swung at it and cut off a part of its head. She kept on chopping at them until all of them were laying on the ground. She smiled at her handy work and sheathed her knives.


Quickly, she observed her surroundings. A few houses surrounded her.


Why not check one out? She shrugged and waltzed through one of the doors. She headed straight for the kitchen and looked through the pantry. A can of peaches caught her eye and she picked a clean knife from her collection, then opened it. Hungrily, she munched on them while she sat down on a ugly polka dotted couch.
 
(Dang it! Where are all the 16 year old boys? We have three 16 years old girls! Were's the love! At least they all have good taste in music. IT'S THE EYE OF THE TIGER, IT'S THE THRILL OF THE FIGHT. RISING UP TO THE CHALLENGE OF THEIR RIVALS!!!)


Sky dispersed her items before running back in for a stack of quilts she had seen on display.

Jay poked the polka dots on the couch as she finished her peaches. She got up and threw the can in the sink along with the fork. She looked in the pantry for more food, even though her stock was pretty good. She grabbed some more cans and threw it in her bag. She then went outside where the brain munchers were laying. She smeared some of the blood on her forehead and on her arms; it was a technique she had been using ever since the apocalypse started. She was beginning to get used to the smell, but she still gagged every time she put blood on her skin.


Jay then ran around to the front of the house and spotted a couple of people next to a vehicle. It was running, which was something she hadn't seen for a long time. She didn't call out, but just placed a hand on one of her daggers and stood there.
 
(Rex and Jaycee are scavenging together. I'll make a 16 year old boy if you do.)


Sky noticed the girl standing over near the houses. She tapped on Jamie's shoulder and pointed over at her. She couldn't have been older than herself.

Jay froze as she say a girl point to her. She looked like she could have gone to my school back when everything was normal. She sort of reminded her of Samantha, her friend.


She shook her head, trying to block the memory out. Jay smiled at the two people and waved, hoping that they were friendlies.
 
Jamie looked up when Sky tapped her shoulder. She first looked at Sky's face then over at the girl across the street. She slowly waved back then looked back at Sky. She backed away from the vehicle and closed the door. With her bat in hand she slowly began to walk across the street to the house, watching for walkers that may be too close to her as she crossed over.
 
Jay sort of gave a side smile. "Hey uh... you're not going to bite me and rip me into shreds are you?" She asked nervously. That's almost happened to her before. Twice. She swirled her finger on the handle of her dagger, making sure that it was in close reach.

Jamie shook her head as she approached the girl. "No, of course not." She laughed a bit. "I'm Jamie. That's Sky," she said, pointing back over to the van.
 
Jay sort of relaxed and swayed her arms back and forth. "So, uh. I guess I should say what my name is. I'm Jay, and these are my friends," She pointed to all of her knives, then patted them as if patting little children's heads.


"So what are you two doing?" She asked. Jay didn't really know what to say. She hadn't had human contact for a while now.


((Should I just let the other character join in or.... :I And is both of our new characters going to be all buddied up or what xD ))
 
(I was thinking that Darren would still be heading to Georgia and would drive into town. Yep.)


"Trying to build up supplies," Sky shrugged.
 
Jamie nodded when Sky answered. "We're..planning to head to Oklahoma." She looked back over at the van then up at the houses. "We were going to search these houses then... Stay in the van for the night?" She looked at Sky as she asked the question.
 
((Okey. I'll go ahead and write Heinz's little part)) ((I like to say Heinz's out loud. HEINZ'S))


"Oh. That's not a bad idea. Here, want some food?" Jay asked as she laid her bag down in the car. The bag was unzipped, so some of the cans fell out. "Whoops," she muttered.
