Fantasy The Vampire Dynasty (OOC/Character Sheet)

Merced, Alabama is a small southern town in the northeast part of Alabama. It's usually a sunny town, with ninety plus degree weather up until mid-December. Southern families with money are greatly praised, and practically seen as royalty. MHS is the leading school in Jack County with sports teams that have won championships after championships. The people that inhabit this small town, are so engrossed in their daily activities and lives that they fail to notice something that is growing right under their noses. Vampires have begun an underground society within Merced, being some of the more wealthier families - or Old Money - that strive to protect the lesser vampires from the humans. Because of the humans' economy slowly declining, this has become their time to rise up and try to grab a better hold on the humans and help them understand that they're not all bad - as long as they have that sweet, sweet nectar that runs in their veins.

Some humans have been recruited as a result to provide their blood in exchange for money, food, clothes - whatever they would need in order to survive. A sort of underground "brothel" has started up because of this, tucked away from curious glances where the vampires can relish in being themselves, and humans in their remarkable beauty. No one really complains, until some vampire "royals" takes the blood drinking too far and end up killing some of the humans. Because of this, the Old Money families have to cover up their mistakes, until an investigator finds the body of the human in a field out in the middle of the woods. This lead to the humans that are not within the inner circle to slowly put two and two together. Humans, however, are split down the middle as they cannot decide on whether to take the appropriate actions and exterminate the vampires or debating on if they even exist. With that said, vampire-human relations began sprouting up over the next few years as the dead human girl's murder goes unsolved.

Merced used to be a small town that you would be able to raise your family in without any second thought of murdering happening. Now, humans don't trust one another - suspecting that whoever did this, is still out there.

Bio: Before the Earth was inhabitable, a great star formed nearby it, producing light and warmth unlike any the solar system had known, and with it a single soul. This soul split from the sun, like a drop of water off an icicle, and began it’s journey to Earth. By the time it had arrived, the planet was then inhabitable, and populated by many great creatures.

To cut this story short, this soul outlived a great many disasters, and continued on living. In it’s instability, it would rebirth itself every five hundred years, renewing it’s youth until finally it took on a form. The form of a multi-colored eagle.

As time went on, the human race advanced their ways of living, and so the soul was made to adapt. The humans had become aware of his true form so he created yet another form for himself; human. He hid among them, living, breathing, helping. Until this very day.

Social Status: Is known by few people around Merced. Good friends in Jackson and Kiera White, along with their daughter Bella White,” (all of which know what he is). Nobody else is aware that he is a Phoenix, though Vampires and other supernatural beings of extraordinary power can tell him apart from the humans.

Likes: Warmth. Dean is quite fond of the sun and fire in general, setting him very much apart from the Vampires. He enjoys the morning time, while dusk leaves him feeling amiss. He would prefer to have access to some form of light at all times.

Dislikes: The darkness. Cold, water, neither of them agree with him. When exposed to either of them it weakens him tremendously (like if a human were to come down with a terrible sickness). When in this state his abilities are greatly hindered. Another thing he hates is the coming of rebirth.

Traits:

-A mark burnt onto his wrist, deeming him a Phoenix

-Tears have healing properties (cannot cure diseases linked to vampirism or lycanthropy)

-Requires very little diet-wise. A single drop of dew must be consumed as soon as the light of the sun envelopes it at dawn. This only needs to be done every few weeks or so
-Every five centuries exactly to the second, he undergoes rebirth. During this process his body withers rapidly and he bursts into flames. From the ashes of his old body comes a child, whose age could be about sixteen. Rebirth takes only a few minutes.
-Can produce bouts of flame at will, though only every now and then. Unless of course he happens to be in...
-Full fledged Phoenix form. Dean possesses the ability to transform fully into a Phoenix, akin to the one of legend. He will turn into a magnificent, foot tall bird made of brilliant orange flames. His crown is ash-gray, his eyes remain blue as gemstones, and his talons a strange purple in color.

Bio: Born around 1625, Glinda was your average, happy little girl. Glinda lived with her family and her sister in a lovely castle. Her father was crowned king of Great Britain and Ireland at this time. It was a life she wouldn't trade for anything, until one day some of the towns people didn't like her father and her kingship so they stormed the castle. Her family had just sit down to dine when her fathers guards rushed in and tried to hold the doors. Her father grabbed his sword while her mother grabbed her and her sister and ran through the halls she finally decided to make her and her sister run and hide someplace in the castle. Holding on to her sister Glinda ran through the halls finally coming upon a guest bedroom, Glinda quickly pulled her sister in side and closed the door, she rushed her sister and made her crawl under the bed, while Glinda ran to the wardrobe to hide. Soon after the could hear their mothers screams from the hall, then silence... Soon after the guards stormed into the bedroom, Glinda looked through the crack of the wardrobe doors at her sister who stared at Glinda the whole time. But to their demise the guard suddenly pulls her sister out from under the bed and holds her by her hair. He yelled for the other guards while walking out of the room with her sister, screaming in tears. She sat in the wardrobe for the longest time, sobbing to herself at all the events that had occurred. Until a great light shined through the crack of the wardrobe, suddenly the doors opened and there stood a beautiful woman all dressed in gold. She had a beautiful voice that echoed through the room when she spoke. Glinda stood in amazement, as the woman said to her "I can fix all of this, I can get your family back, for a price." The woman held out her hand for Glinda, She thought for moments and moments, until finally the kindness in her heart overwhelmed the price the lady spoke of and Glinda said "Anything." The next events that occurred was a blur Glinda had no memory of anything that had happened, the beautiful lady took Glindas hand and they dissipated together in a ball of light. What we know now is the lady took in Glinda and made her, her apprentice. She gave her the powers of the witches and taught her to love and show kindness to all, and to never use her powers for bad. Later in life Glinda now continues to fulfill that promise today as a woman who appears to children in their most desperate time of needs. (A fairy godmother of sorts)

Social Status: Most that know her are children that she has helped, Glinda doesn't have any friends for she hasn't took the time to make them, same goes for lovers. She does not know if there are any other supernatural beings such as herself living, therefore she feels alone. The only time Glinda usually leaves her home is when she is going to help someone in need.
Likes: Kindness in any living thing, The night sky, anything warm and fluffy, and of course anything pink!
Dislikes: Anything unkind, unfriendly, or anything that would cause her to do so.
Traits: Glinda has a very elegant and glamorous style, she always has on a pink gown that sparkles to the eye. She wears beautiful heels that sounds gentle and empowering as she walks. She occasionally wears a fur shawl around her arms. Her hair always seems to be perfect. She carries a wand with her everywhere she goes. One trait of hers is her scent, it can give off any scent that the person she comes in contact with likes the most. She would never be unkind to someone, only time can tell if this would continue.

Ying stands at 5'1" and around 98 lbs. She has dark brown hair, almost black, that comes to her shoulders and warm brown eyes. She is very slender with small curves.

Bio:
In her early years Zhu was abandoned by her parents due to poverty. After three days they found her still alive and took her back in to raise her with her sister. After their father died they were both adopted, taking on their adoptive father's name Xhao. She later became a dancing girl and received her known name, Feiyan, with means flying swallow because she very slender and agile as she danced, almost like she was flying.
Around 19 BC she became a consort to the Emperor Cheng, harassed for her low status. In 16 BC she was made Empress Consort to the Emperor Cheng after her father was given a higher status so she couldn't be harassed for her low birth. She later found that both she and her sister were infertile and could not produce any royal heirs. Both resorted to dark ways which involved killing two of the Emperor's heirs before they reached a year old. One night she was walking in the gardens when she was approached by a man. He promised her eternal beauty and life sure to win over her Emperor. She agreed and, that night, Xhao Feiyan died. She was reborn with new beauty. Sadly, that very morning her husband died from a stroke. She was enraged and blamed the man who made her.
She was later demoted back to a commoner and began her time of hiding and learning. She witnessed many great pieces of history, never turning a human like she had been. To the present she has sired no vampires.

Was popular in school for her beauty, and her skills in sports and athletics. But quite a number of men have been publicly shamed by her after trying to flirt with her. According to her best friend, she abhors lovebirds, to the point where she has been nicknamed as “The New Type of Cold Girl.”

Her mom was a potter and her father was a professor of law. Her job was to be the intelligent daughter supporting her refined and intellectual parents. But, she instinctively knew that her mom had no affection for her dad, so she always felt sorry for him. Yu didn’t know that when she followed her dadㅡwho became a police officerㅡabroad, that that also meant that her parents were divorcing.
