Fandom The Untold Stories of Hogwarts - 1x1 HP RP

“Well exactly- I have you. And I won’t trade you for anything in this world,” he told Xavier with a sweet smile. “Muggle boys are bloody lame. You’re more fun than them,” he went on. “Oh and of course you’re a whole lot more attractive than them,” added Aaron with a cheeky grin. Aaron nodded as Xavier suggested they go get something to eat for lunch. “Yea me too! I could go for lunch,” he said, putting a hand on his abdomen. “Although I am quite full from that delicious Xavier meal,” he joked with a laugh. “No but seriously, I am hungry. Let’s go,” he said, feeling the emptiness in his stomach in that moment.

Xavier blushed, listening to Aaron. "I'm glad, because I wouldn't trade you either" He said softly. He felt a fierce blush on his face when Aaron called him attractive. "Oh stop, you're turning me into a tomato over here" He teased. "I know, I can be pretty filling" He said with a smirk. He led the way up to the cafe. He opened the door for Aaron with a smile. "After you handsome" He grinned. It was a cute little cafe, little tables around, and a peaceful atmosphere. Xavier followed after Aaron, and the hostess brought them to a booth, giving them menus and smiling, before walking off. "I hope this place is okay? We haven't really had a 'date' yet so I thought maybe a lunch date?" Xaie said, looking across the booth at Aaron.

“That’s good to hear, means I must be doing something right as a boyfriend,” chuckled Aaron as they walked along. He giggled and smiled seeing his boyfriend blushing so profusely. “You look quite cute as a tomato, Xaie,” he remarked. “Tomatoes are yummy,” he said, gently poking Xavier. “That’s my hunger talking, sorry,” he laughed, shaking his head. Aaron nodded and grinned as his boyfriend opened the door to the cafe and implored him to go in first, holding it for him. “Why thank you! What a gentleman!” Aaron said using a corny voice with a higher class British accent. He entered the establishment first, looking around. It smelled very nice and caused Aaron’s stomach to grumble. As they sat down, Aaron smiled from ear to ear. “Xaie it’s an excellent idea- I absolutely love it,” he assured his boyfriend. “I love that we can have a little date for Valentine’s Day,” he said, staring at Xavier across from him in the booth lovingly. “Spending time with you AND food? My two favorite things!”

Xavier smiled as he looked at his boyfriend. "I'm glad you think so. I've actually been trying to plan a date for a while, and this all worked out." He said with a grin, looking at his boyfriend just as lovingly. "Its nice to know I'm right up there with food as one of your favorite things" He joked playfully. "Makes me feel very special" He added, his eyes catching on Aaron's beautiful hazel ones. His heart swelled with passion and love as he looked at his boyfriend. How Xavier got so lucky, he had no idea. He glanced over the menu before the waitress came over asking what they wanted for drinks. "I'll have a water" Xavier said with a smile, before the waitress looked over at Aaron.

“Aww that’s so sweet,” said Aaron, smiling fondly at the fact that Xavier had been trying to plan a date like this for a while now. “How could I not love you? You’re the bloody best!” he said. “You’re even better than food, I’ll admit it,” he laughed, joking lightly. “You make me feel very special,” said Aaron tenderly as he stared into Xavier’s chocolate brown eyes. Eventually when the waitress came over, Aaron ordered a water after Xavier as well.

Xavier blushed again, listening to Aaron. "I wouldn't go that far" He said softly. "Wow, I beat food, I'll take that as a win." He added. Xavier smiled warmly at Aaron. "That's because you are special." He said gently. "I don't know what I would've done if you'd said no last year" He said softly, talking about both Xavier's date proposal for the ball, and for being his boyfriend. Xavier smiled at Aaron, his chocolate brown eyes full of love for the Gryffindor boy across the table from him. One of his hands absentmindedly played with the locket around his neck, the one that Aaron got him for Christmas. He hadn't taken it off ever since it had been put on that day. The waitress set their drinks down a moment later before giving them more time with the menu, going to another table.

“I was never going to say no so get that out of your head silly,” giggled Aaron as he smiled lovingly at his boyfriend. “You’re the most special guy and handsome guy in the world. I’d be a bloody fool to say no!” he said. When the waitress came by with drinks, Aaron thanked her politely and then looked at the menu, wondering what he should get to eat for lunch. He noticed Xavier playing with the locket around his neck. Both boys hadn’t stopped wearing the necklaces ever since Aaron first gave it to Xavier for Christmas. “What should I order to eat? Having trouble deciding. Any recommendations from the smartest wizard at Hogwarts?” he asked his boyfriend with a grin.

Xaie blushed further, listening to his boyfriend. "You're a pretty special guy yourself Aaron, and also very handsome. I'm glad you said yes" He said, his face gone tomato red again. Xavier glanced over the menu a second later, before he looked up at Aaron. "I was thinking about the chicken sandwich myself" He heard the rest of Aaron's comment and the blush reignited. "I would not say I'm the smartest wizard" Xavier said with a small chuckle. He knew he had high marks in most all his classes, but he didn't consider himself the smartest in the school.

Now it was Aaron’s turn to blush as Xavier told him how special he was. His boyfriend always knew how to flatter him and warm his heart. Aaron nodded as Xavier said he was going to probably order a chicken sandwich. “Chicken sandwich? Then that’s what I’ll have! I always trust your judgement,” he said with a smile. “Nonsense! You are smart! Smarter than you think! You’re always at the top of our class, you’re a really brilliant wizard mate- I mean it,” said Aaron genuinely.

Xavier couldn't help but smile, seeing the blush on Aaron's face now. He felt so lucky to have Aaron as his boyfriend. "I have you, so I guess I have pretty good judgement" He said with a loving smile. "I dunno, I was having issues with that spell back during our first DA meeting. If I was so smart, I would've gotten it first try" Xavier commented. "Thanks though" He said, the blush on his cheeks a bright red. He knew Aaron was being genuine and it made his heart swell with affection for the lad.

“That’s not any indicator of your skill. You’re human, no one’s perfect,” said Aaron softly. “You’re a very capable wizard. And besides, you ended up getting it on only your second try and you did it really well,” he told him with a smile. “So shush, enough outta you Xaie,” chuckled Aaron. “I’m getting a chicken sandwich now because my genius boyfriend suggested it.”

"How did I get so lucky to have you as my boyfriend?" Xavier asked, listening to Aaron say those sweet things about him. He really felt like the luckiest boy in the world. He blushed as Aaron called him a genius. A few moments passed and the waitress arrived, Xavier ordered his chicken sandwich before the waitress turned to Aaron.

“I dunno mate, you found me first,” he chuckled thinking back to their first year when they had met on the train. “And you asked first too,” he reminded him with a grin. “The real question is how did someone like ME get so lucky that a special lad like you wanted to date me,” said Aaron. Once the waitress arrived, Aaron ordered his chicken sandwich just like his boyfriend right after Xavier did. When she left, Aaron found himself getting lost in those pretty brown eyes of his. “Do you remember? When we first met? That day on the Hogwarts Express?” Aaron asked him curiosity.

Xavier listened to Aaron, he had found the boy first, and he'd asked both times first as well. "Well, I saw someone who is kind, handsome and special. I couldn't very well let him go now could I?" He said with a loving smile on his face. He locked eyes with Aaron, those hazel eyes just got him every time. He could drown in those eyes. "I do, I remember how excited you were to come to the school. I'll admit, I felt drawn to you immediately. But, I think I realized how special you really were when you came to my aid the very first day when Eric went after me." He'd been so scared that day, but his friend had shown up and was prepared to defend him, even knowing very little magic. He hadn't known it then, being eleven, but he knew then what he knew now, they were truly connected, destined to be together.

Aaron began to smile sheepishly and blush as Xavier said all of these nice things about him. Giving him all sorts of compliments, Aaron felt flattered, his heart fluttering in his chest. He then thought back to the very first day of Hogwarts, when he had met Xavier on the train on that fateful September 1st back in 1991. That was nearly five years ago. He also thought back to the day early on in the semester of their first year where Aaron had discovered Xavier, laying on the ground, weak, injured, and bloodied thanks to the cruelty of his roommate Eric. Aaron remembered the overwhelming anger he felt towards Eric and the urge to protect Xavier with every fiber of his being that day. Aaron nodded solemnly. “Yea, I remember that,” he said quietly. “But on that train, I saw a very special kid. A kid I eventually wanted to be all mine. A compassionate, intelligent, and adorable boy,” he said with a soft smile. “That day in the bathroom- I wanted nothing more than to protect you. To snap my fingers and make everything better. I knew you were special to me and important to me so I did everything I could to help you and comfort you,” he recalled. “And honestly, I was willing to sacrifice myself for you on that day,” he added. “And I’d do it a thousand times more if it meant that you’d be safe.”

Xavier listened to Aaron saying all those sweet things. The smile that crossed Xaie's face was full of love. It was crazy how much had changed in almost five years. He blushed listening to how Aaron had been willing to sacrifice himself for Xavier. Xaie leaned forward, looking at Aaron. "I was so grateful that you had come. My knight in shining armor, come to my rescue. My special, sweet, caring knight. I'm gonna be selfish and say that I'm glad Professor Flitwick came when he did. I would've been lost without you" He said softly. "You're just as important to me, every time you were hurting, all I wanted to do was hug you and kiss whatever pain there was away." He added, his chocolate brown eyes watching the boy across from him. He remembered trying to answer all of young Aaron's questions about the different things he asked about that train ride.

“I’ll always be your night in shining armor, whenever I can, forever until the end of time,” he told his boyfriend with a loving smile. “I’ll protect you with my life, Xavier. You’re my everything,” he went on. “And I always know that you’ll support me and have my back. For that, I am grateful. I’ve gotta be the luckiest lad on this planet,” said Aaron. He shared a brief moment of silence and reflection, staring into Xavier’s brown eyes. At some point, the waitress came along with two delicious chicken sandwiches. As they were set down, Aaron politely thanked the waitress. He then looked over at Xavier with a grin. “Hungry?” he asked.

Xavier blushed, listening to Aaron with a loving smile. "What is it we always say? Us against the world? I'll protect you and you'll protect me forever." He said. The waitress set their food down and Xavier heard his stomach rumble. "Very much so" He said with a smile. He took a bite of the sandwich and smiled, it was delicious. He didn't realize how hungry he'd gotten in between breakfast and now. He took another bite of the sandwich before setting it down to take a drink of his water.

Aaron grinned hearing the familiar phrase. “Yessir! You and me against the world! Taking it on one day at a time!” he said with a laugh. He could’ve sworn he heard Xavier’s stomach growling just before the boy took the first bite. Aaron quickly dug into his lunch. You couldn’t go wrong with a chicken sandwich. It was so simple yet delicious. This one was no different. Aaron’s stomach gurgled with pleasure as it was filled. He was rather hungry since breakfast was only a few hours ago and of course, as a growing fifteen year old boy, he liked to eat a lot. He needed the nutrients to grow and always needed energy for the day. Aaron was always a big eater but especially now as a teenager. “This is bloody good stuff right here, don’t ya think?” Aaron asked with a mouth full of chicken before swallowing.

He smiled at Aaron, he loved the excitement the boy always seemed to have. That was one of the things that drew Xavier to Aaron in the beginning. Opposites attract in this case. Xavier was, and still is, shy and more withdrawn where Aaron always has energy and excitement to spare. They worked well together this way. He took another bite of his sandwich, enjoying the taste. He shook his head with a laugh as he swallowed. "Aaron, swallow before you talk there love" He said, the little nickname flew off his tongue without realizing it. He froze, sandwich in his hands as he looked over at the boy. He wasn't sure how Aaron would react to that, and suddenly there went his nerves, once again on fire.

Aaron widened his eyes and blushed profusely, After swallowing he had seemed to freeze in place hearing the last word that came out of Xavier’s mouth. His boyfriend had called him “love,” a cute little affection nickname. Although they had been dating for quite some time now, neither boy really used any type of pet names like “sweetie,” “babe,” or “love.” Aaron cuttingly wasn’t used to that out of Xavier yet the word made his heart flutter- he liked it a whole lot. After processing what Xavier had just called him, Aaron smiled, his cheeks still a shade of red. “I- I like it when you called me that… love,” he said quietly.

Xavier had set his sandwich down as he tried to gauge Aaron's reaction. He saw the blush on the boys cheeks and then Xavier felt his world thaw hearing what Aaron had just said. He liked it. Xaie knew they hadn't used pet names yet, so when he'd dropped that, it had made him freeze himself. "I'm glad you liked it, I thought I messed up there, love" Now that he knew that Aaron liked it, he would probably use it more, not an overwhelming amount but more than not using it at all. Now that the world continued spinning, Xavier took another bite of his sandwich.

Aaron remained silent but his heart swelled with joy as he kept on replaying the moment that Xavier had sweetly called him love. He ate his chicken sandwich and enjoyed the food and the close presence. of his boyfriend. He was very much enjoying their first official date, and there was no better day to be doing it than the most romantic day of them all- Valentine’s Day.

Xavier had finished his sandwich. His heart felt full of love as he sat there. This date was going to be one of his happiest memories, along with the Yule Ball and Christmas. Xavier loved this, spending time with Aaron, a date on Valentine's Day. It was corny, it was sappy and it was everything Xavier wanted it to be. Reflecting on the past, realizing just how connected the two of them were, made the love that Xaie feel all the stronger. Xavier would never admit it to anyone, but he was a romantic. He wanted to bring Aaron back to the overhang where he'd first asked the boy to the Yule Ball. The overhang was the catalyst to their relationship and so to Xavier, it was a very special spot and that was where he wanted to end their date.

Once Aaron had finished his sandwich, he washed it down with the remaining sips of his water and smiled, sighing gently as he sat back and rested his hands folded on top of his now full stomach. “Was there anything you wanted to do after this? Any shopping? Or did you wanna go back to the castle?” he asked. “I’m ready to head out of here when you are,” said Aaron.
