Vara
Things erupted into even more chaos as the two woman rushed to help her. Leonere climbed over the stools to make sure the man didn't drag her off feet, by holding a piece of glass to his neck and digging her sharp fingernails on his arm. Vara wasn't sure how that would affect him, but it appeared that he was subdued more or less for now, and for that she was grateful. The other lady was angry at how harsh Leonere was, and yelled at her to hold him down without injuring him. He was only an innocent, she claimed. Then, after warning everybody of the danger in the bar, she went behind Vara and there came lots of assorted noises. Vara turned her head to try and see behind her, curious what the other lady was doing. The blonde, in a flurry of motion, got out what appeared to be a stake and ran over to the old looking man and from his sharp teeth that he barred at her, a vampire. Almost in slow motion, Vara witnessed her diving it into the vampire, blood spurting a tiny bit onto the vampire's jacket. Vara couldn't help but chuckle to herself. That sight of surprise in the monster's eyes and the injury it had just received was sight never to be forgotten.
When the man squeezed her wrists again, Vara realized how weak and stupid she was being. Even when her one arm was unavailable, she could still reach a stake from her belt or a gun from her back pocket. She had froze up once more. What a moron she could be. Vara reached with her right arm to get a good old sharp stake, when the blondie stated the obvious; he was hypnotized and couldn't control himself. She was still very tempted to shot him now anyhow, but she relaxed and let her right arm instead help Leonere pry him off her other arm. As they worked together, Vara heard a screech from behind them that sounded like a cat being tortured. No, more like a chalkboard being scratched with a tortured cat. She looked to see what in the world was going on once more. With steely eyes, the blonde had dug the stake in the stomach, spurting more blood in various directions. When his eyeball got popped, Vara winced very slightly, pretty use to the gore. She was more satisfied then anything else.
“I am liberated!”
Great, now let's just "liberate" the rest of your kind. Before she could see anything more, she turned her attention to her own problem. As Leonere gave her a frustrated and pleading glance, Vara gave a small nod and worked on getting his hairy arm off. With the two of them with their combined strength and focus, the man wasn't much of a problem anymore. Towards the end, the man started to lose his grip and slump over, making it even easier to get him off. With a final tug, he flew back inside the bar area, all fight gone. Vara let out of huge sigh of relief that she was finally free of his grasp. Her arm was covered in bruises in the shape of his huge hand. She rubbed it gently, thinking about how brutal even the hypnotized pawns of vampires could be. What an exciting night it had turned out to be. Perhaps now, when she went too bed she wouldn't have to feel guilty her hunting status, although she had froze up. Glancing at the grimy window, she saw there wasn't much night to sleep away.
Vara turned away from the bar, stood up, and said, "Thank you guys for your help. Wasn't exactly expecting that one to go down right them. I admittedly froze up like an idiot too. Do you think there will be anymore?"
"Oh, and what's your name, great hunter? Are you part of any organization?" She inquired, turning her head to the blood soaked Charlotte.
The bar had seen better days. Stools were overturn, blood was all over the area by where the vampire had been killed dramatically, and the bartender was out trashing around in a daze, muttering things to himself. Even though the threat had been cleared there was still a weird and ominous feeling in the entire bar, almost as if somebody was watching the entire scene. They might have some cleanup to do. Vara was glad that this night wasn't entirely boring after all.
