Fantasy The True Strength of The Warrior

Adrian put a hand on Christina's shoulder. "It's my fault. I let him go out alone" He says, sheathing his dagger.

"Do it!" Isaac screamed he didn't have anything to lose he was already in trouble and he knew he would be wanted but they were on foreign soil so technically he couldn't be in to much trouble.

She breathes heavily, "This... this wasn't..." She stiffens her lip as she feels it quiver, and turns around, and begins to climb back down the rockface, past the cave, and to the lake.

She started walking through the forest, moving slowly as her thoughts began to race, she was against killing, she knew it was wrong, yet here was someone who up and looked to go kill those men, wouldn't even give them a chance. She knew this was the evil that existed within everyone's heart, she just never wanted to see it appear in her own.

Artorias started to stir in the cave, sitting up with a slight yawn, confused as to where everyone was, part of him suspecting they left him, which he couldn't really blame them for, struggling to his feet, taking his armor and greatsword, stumbling out to the edge of the cave, putting his helmet at the edge of the falls, trying to clean it out, softly whistling again, a small grey wolf comes running up to the cave, which he softly petted, smiling, awaiting for the blood to washout of his helm.

Adrian sighed, grabbing the rope and rappelling down the cliff. "Christina!" He called out, following after her.

(Wait... is that sif)

Her eyes are focused on her feet as she feel tears welling up, she never wanted to cry, she had to be strong for everyone, she couldn't cry now, could she? She didn't find any comfort in the thought and instead just decided to empty her mind as she sat down, leaning against a tree.

Artorias sighed, putting his helmet back on, continuing to pet the grey wolf, "seems like it's just you and me again..." Artorias started to wash off his chest piece, staring at the hole sadly, knowing that it would be beyond his skill to fix, he still pushed the dent back out anyways, staring at the roof of the cave.

Isaac had gone after Christina and gotten lost he was in the wrong he knew that much but she was just waiting for her death he couldn't handle that he was going to save all he could that included her then he bumped into what he thought was a tree but it was Christina who was crying and he asked "What's wrong?"

Adrian tripped over a log, sprawling onto the floor. Quickly, he pushed himself up, noticing a footprint in front of his face. He followed the trail, listening for any other soldiers, until he found Christina. "Are you okay?" H asked quietly, crouching in front of her.

She breathed deeply through her nose, wiping the tears away, "You didn't have to kill them you know..."

"No... nothing is wrong Adrian, let's just go back to the cave, I need some rest, my head hurts." She sighed, placing her hand on the side of her head where she was struck.

She then proceeded to add, "You're right, but I can accept it when it comes." She immediately began walking back toward the cave.

He nods, standing and holding out his hand to her. "Lets go see if Artorias is awake yet' he says quietly.

She walked back, ignoring the extended hand.

Artorias smiled, thinking back to the events before this, how respectable she was and how honorable she was whilst fighting, staying back whilst the others tried ganging up, and how she decided to help him instead of leaving him to his fate, how the pale moonlight shone in her hai- "what?" Artorias stood still, wondering why he was remembering that, blaming it on the blood loss, hoping it was just blood loss. Sif barked, snapping him out of his trance, quickly cleaning out his legs and arm pieces, putting them back on and slowly cleaning his greatsword, trying to focus on getting his gear cleaned.

She soon came into range of vision as she neared the cave, moving slowly with the weight of what just happened heavy on her heart, but she sucked up the tears so no one would see, and made her way up to the entrance.

"That is one hell of a woman..." Adrian says quietly. He wiped his brow, passing Isaac and heading to the lake. he needed to soak the elk's skin before he tanned it.

Artorias sat at the back of the cave, holding sif the grey wolf in his lap, smiling at the little cub, lazily petting him. "At least I know I can count on you sif, you won't leave me unless I'm dying without hope of recovery or until you die." Artorias sighed, holding Sif close to his chest, greatsword laying next to him, unaware someone has came back to the cave.

She walked into the cave slowly and silently as she found herself halfway sliding down on one of the walls when she shot up straight and looked at him, "A-Artorias!?" She replied with some shock as she stared at him.
