Fantasy The True Strength of The Warrior

Artorias stretched, "I'm around the second or third strongest of the group, there's our captain, the leader of all the knights, sure you already know his name, there's an archer whom is one of the best I've ever seen with a bow, and average in hand to hand combat, he goes by the name of gough, and then there's a small lithe girl we just call lord blade ciaren, since she's known to hunt down enemies of our lord and silence them, though I think you'd have more to worry from our captain, since the other two are more reasonable then both me and the captain." He stopped, thinking, a small bit of silence followed as he looked at the lake, "I just want to say, thank you for helping me, and for not just leaving me in that cave after I fell asleep."

She shook her head slowly, "Stronger... huh... This is gonna be tough then..." She looked at him, "This captain, I'm interested to hear about him, how good is this man, tell me a story of this man."

"The captain huh, well I sadly haven't seen him in action much, only when he sparred with me have I ever seen him fight, since I'm normally hunting for a criminal or gone in a battle, but he's good enough that I barely kept up with him, fpevery time I managed to get one hit on him,he already hit me two to three times. It's rumored he's strong enough that during a battle there was a boulder blocking the path to an enemy base, he split it with his attacks alone, though I doubt that, what I know for sure is that he's quicker and stronger then me."

She shook her head, "If word reaches the capital I survived... I fear they might send all three at once..." She looked at him, "Should it ever come down to this, you must flee, all of you..." She had a bit of sadness in her eyes, "If I tell you all to run, I know Issac will refuse and Adrian will hesitate, but you must make them leave."

Artorias looked back shaking his head, "I may be able to make the others leave, yet I won't leave you to the mercy of the captain and the other two, I'm going to stand and fight beside you, for it's the least I owe you for sparing my life." He stood up, looking into her eyes, "I will stay and fight, because it is honorable to sacrifice yourself for others, it's not honorable to fight a battle you know you can't win to let others escape, they'll see them and hunt them down for helping you hide." He smiled, "I'll fight beside you to help me recover my honor in my own eyes."

"If you owe me anything, it is your life, but understand this, if you toss it away, your debt will never be repaid. Your honor you seek, there are other ways to recover it, and I need you to find them, besides, here's the small loophole in Myran's prophecy of my death... I will be killed by the man I am in 'love' with." She smiled a little, "Guess I just can't fall in love, right?"

Artorias chuckled, "My debt is mine to pay, but I doubt I'll ever recover my honor if I leave you behind. Sure my reputation may go back to how it was, but I won't see any honor in it, I left my friend behind to possibly die, there's no honor for me with that knowledge." Artorias sighed, putting his head in his hands, "Though I guess since I owe you my life I have no say on whether or not I'll be allowed to throw it away to regain my personal sense of honor."

She nodded, "Sorry to take that from you, but I will see you all alive at the end of this war... It will end, and knowing that... one day, someone will grow to adulthood and be happy, well... that's good enough for me." She smiled as she looked at him, then giggled a bit, "But you know, it would've been nice is Myran would at least let me start a family and die of natural causes, just at a younger age~"

Artorias chuckled, smiling as he looked back, silently thinking how cute her giggle is, mentally slapping himself, knowing that he shouldn't dwell on that, "Hmm, you as a mother? That sounds strange enough that it might just be amazing to see."

"Hey! I am as much a woman as I am a warrior..." She laughed a little, never thinking she'd say something like that as she looked into the beautiful, grey, glossy water.

Artorias chuckled, "really? I just thought you were a small man with a big chest, could've fooled me." Artorias laid down on the shore, looking at the stars, a small sigh escaping his lips.

She laid down next to him, looking up as she laughed out a very playful, "Shut up~" She couldn't help but smile, the stars looked so pretty that evening, her head only bothered her a little as she heard high-pitched screeching every now and then.

Artorias smiled, a playful look on his face, 'or else what, you going to make me shut up~" he rolled over, looking at her, stretching out again, resting his head on his arms.

"We can have have that rematch right here and right now if you're so eager to lose," She laughed as she playfully punched his arm and stared up at the night sky, the cold wasn't bothering her, it was strange, "We should probably head back to the cave..." She sat up, suddenly realizing she might be acting too friendly.

Artorias sat up,wondering if he said something wrong, but decided to not say anything about it. "Yeah," rubs the back of his head, "we probably should."

She walked back up to the cave, going back to her corner as she laid down, curling up in a ball again and shut her eyes, whispering, "Goodnight Artorias," Before the dark blanket of sleep wraps around her and she falls into a world far from reality.

Artorias sat at the entrance again, Sif curled up in his lap, "Goodnight Christina..." He whispered, staring out into the night, thinking what he was doing, and why, why did he feel so comfortable around her.

( So....timeskip? Or is this it for now? )

(okay.) Isaac awoke to rays of light shining on his face. As he began to stir he sat up yawned and moved closer to the fire he'd forgot to dry of from his second dive in the water so he was freezing.

Christina was still fast asleep, one arm was laying out in front of her with her palm open as she breathed, barely audible, but after her second time to sleep that evening, there was no dream, she was just asleep.

After heating up Isaac realized that they had very little vinson left so he grabbed his bow and quiver and left hopefully nobody would flip out but everybody had it pretty rough last night so the deserved their sleep with that he wandered into the woods.

Christina was, at this point, very dry, and was staying to the wall as she became very warm, her body and armor now without a hint of water on them.

Isaac walked on ground as he didn't fear being ambushed anymore but he couldn't find any decent game tracks so he instead followed rabbit tracks and keep an eye in the tree searching for squirrels until he had bagged two squirrels and one rabbit. "I hope this is enough for everybody." he said as he began to make his way back to the cave

Isaac reached the cave and began to gut the first squirrel.
