Fantasy The True Strength of The Warrior

She turned to him and with gentle eyes, nodded, "I understand... Think... Think next time before you decide to act, think of every possible angle." She then looked at him and spoke gently, "Would you mind hunting some more actually, I'm sure I might be quite hungry once I return." She gave a little awkward smile as she wanted to give him some purpose, something to do.

"I wouldn't mind at all." He said cheering silently that he wasn't being scolded anymore "I'll try to get some bigger game this time." he said as a smile appeared on his face and with that he took his bow and quiver and said "I'll be back soon." and disappeared into the dense forest

She dismissed him politely as she turned back around and began to walk through the forest, her eye was intent on finding Artorias, yet for some time she found nothing until she stepped near a clearing, three figures coming into view.

Isaac raced off into the woods this time hoping from tree to tree making sure not scare any game off and also looking for big game tracks in the snow. Finding some deer tracks he began to follow them.

Her eyes widened as she identified that armor, "Dammit!" She muttered under her breath as she hid near the trees, "How is it they already know!?" She then began to think, 'The Knights are here... But... Dammit... How?' She then craned her neck a little to look at them, 'They're close... I can't endanger everyone I care about... I should try and fight them... or lead them away. Shit, what should I do?' Her mind was racing as her hand found its way to the pommel of her sword.

Isaac was still following the deer tracks for a little while he started seeing human foot print moving the other direction as he passed them so he turned around and bean following them.

Artorias sighed, picking up sif. "Guess we should probably head back, wouldn't want them freaking out," Artorias sighed, standing up and putting Sif on the ground, smiling at the little pup as he barked, before running away, sniffing the ground, smelling something. "What is it?" Artorias asked, just trying to focus on a positive outcome, though from recent events, that's unlikely.

She kept her attention on the Knights, she wouldn't break contact for a moment, everyone of her companion's faces clear in her mind as she debated her options. "I... I can't..." She already knew there was no way she would be able to defeat them... She was at least 3 miles from the cave, they'd be safe at least, but she couldn't expect any form of back-up.

Isaac was still following the tracks when he reached a clearing and saw three figures in armour standing there and cursed silently "Damn." he said looking around the perimeter and seeing Christina behind a tree.

"Dammit all..." She clenched her teeth as she stood, walking out into the opening to meet the Knights.

"What was she thinking she can't face them all alone can she?" he said as he jumped down from the tree he was preached in walking towards the knights.

Artorias followed sif, wondering what could get the little pup so worked up, stopping at the edge of a clearing as the little pup bursts in barking at the knights, wondering why or how they got there, "If only I hadn't left my greatsword..." He steps out before noticing Christina, glaring at the knights like a wolf after cornering it's prey.

Her eyes caught her ally and already began to feel that he planned to kill them, she wouldn't allow him that option as she dashed forward, blade drawn as she was met with another blade and received a heavy blow to her stomach, keeling, she fell to her knee and then slashed upward, disarming one of them and a shield was then brought down on her as she rolled back, laying sprawled out on her chest. Her head began to burn as she was having trouble drawing breaths, "Leave... now..." She began to stand until she was met with an axe which she managed to block, parrying it in fact as she began to slash at the man's armor, before sweeping him with her blade, drawing blood, but not enough to kill. Now all that remained was one, who looked different from the rest, he looked much stronger. She identified him as the one who had socked her in the stomach.

Isaac charged in pulling out both daggers and saw that Christina was losing her breath a lot quicker that she should have been and tackled the big man who was standing but he also saw that Christina did not kill anybody so he dropped both his daggers and went in with his fists. Which was very stupid because he was never gonna hold him long without a weapon.

Artorias ripped the Axe out of the dying knight's hands, mainly in case there were any others since he would prefer not getting cornered without a weapon, not even acknowledging Christina telling him to leave, glaring at the last knight standing, stepping back when he saw Issac tackle the knight, shaking his head, "I doubt that'll work..."

She held her blade with the tip pointed at the larger one, "Run... don't fight." She was only met by a solid stare, the large man actually did not even budge after Issac had attempted to tackle him, he truly was massive, steel plate armor.

"Artorias!?" She turned to look at him, "Wha..." She shook her head, "Who is this? This Knight here?"

"Well that didn't work..." Isaac said immediately met with a punch to the face being sent into a tree at least ten feet away as he tried to stand he realized a piece of bark was stuck in his arm.

She followed the movement and gazed at Issac, "Leave this to us! We can handle it!" She turned to face the Knight, her brows were knit with anger, her eyes were steel as she glared at him.

"I don't know, I would say Gough due to his hand to hand combat approach, but I don't see a bow, might just be a random knight" Artorias shrugged, holding the Axe awkwardly, "I'm more concerned if you can take him without help."

"Like i'll let you two have all the fun." he said in a weak voice standing up and began to walking- more like hobbling- toward them with the bark still stuck in his arm, but even he knew he wouldn't be much use unless he was a distraction which he planned on being.

She looked him over a few times, he was big, that was true, but she saw his hands reach into a side belt and slide out two daggers, each rather large as he remained silent, getting in a stance, "I can take him..." Sweat began to bead down the side of her head as she stared him down, she had already begun to predict his fighting style. Yet amid her thoughts the large knight turned, with two well timed slashes across the already damaged chest-piece on Artorias. He then slammed a heavy boot into Christina as she fell to the ground, blood spewing from her lip as he threw one of his daggers at Artorias' chest, right above the heart.

Artorias fell down, the thrown dagger embedded right into his armor, barely missing the hole, the two slashes from both daggers having left a thin yet deep cut through his armor, bleeding from it, struggling back up, refusing to stay down from such a small wound, falling back down due to the fact he wasn't even fully recovered from his earlier injuries.

Christina struggled to get up as the armored knight advanced on Artorias, he was roughly a head taller and entirely in every place, massive. He raised his boot and brought it to Artorias' face, using his other dagger to once more throw it at the same spot, this time, he threw with much more force and speed.

"Artorias, Christina!" Isaac yelled as he once again tried to charge at the knight but this time he took his limp arm with the bark in it and tried to intercept the dagger with his own arm.

Artorias gasped, the second dagger punching through his armor, leaving a decent sized hole, a tad bit of blood dribbling out of his mouth, still struggling to get up, aggregating the wounds.
