Fantasy The Spirit Inside ~ Forest and Village

Dia was not sure what to do next. The only ones who knew where the Temple was were going through their own issues. And she needed to be on the move to retrieve the stone, not waiting around for these others to resolve their love triangle. She thought for a moment... maybe someone in town knows where the Temple is. She couldn't possibly bring herself to return to Bindy and ask. Although that seemed like the easiest thing to do. She didn't want to seem dimwitted returning two days later with no stone to ask directions "BAH! Of course not!".. Before leaving she walked over to Lila and Flint.
"Excuse me Lila, Flint. You are familiar with this forest, no? Do you know of which direction the Temple is in? Anything could help." She looked at him with honest eyes in a last attempt before she departed. @RP Marshall
Flint, already annoyed at the fact that Lila didn't want to talk to Lena, frowned at Dia.

"I lived my entire life in a miserable cage of an evil wizard. He tortured the hell out of me and my fellow animal prisoners. I highly doubt I no more about the forest than you. Now get lost!"

Flint said this a little too roughly than he wanted.

Lila's body tensed slightly when this new person approached them, and she held Flint very close against her chest rather protectively. Though it seemed the girl was only asking for directions, the Yuan-ti tilted her head slightly and frowned down at how rude Flint was being. "...T-temple?..." She questioned softly, and glanced around for a moment, almost as if she thought she might see the temple from here. Of course she didn't, and she shook her head softly to indicate she had no idea where it might be.

Belalisair did not plan on being shaken off that easily. He caught up to the Palsiet easily.

"I actually came to give an apology. I was behaving foolishly when all you had was the best of intentions. I also tried to hurt you the way I felt you had hurt me, that was not right. I really am sorry, Kyngerz. It is not that I never want your help, it just that she is not ready for something like that, nor am I."

The Palsiet was clearly not in the mood to talk, and that only made Belisair want to try to fix this situation even more.

"I know you've endured your pains for far longer than I have, but please don't just walk away like this. Say something", he grabbed the Palsiet shoulder as he glided in front of him, "talk to me."

@KingsPlague

The Palsiet stared deep into the Sylphs eyes, his own mirroring only the vision he had just seen. "I forgive you, but I must warn you not to test me again, I may not be able to hold him back again" his pupils seemed to stretch to form ovals for a split second, he placed his hand on Bels shoulder "Do you really love her?" he asked a warm glow coming to his eyes as the memories of his lost loved ones flushed through his mind.

Dia bit her lip as she held back. Her first insticts was to curse the creature and be on her way, or better yet banish him to another plane of existence, she hadn't used portal magic in awhile... "How dare you! We ALL have unforgettable pasts but that does not forgive us of common courtesy! You may want to watch your tounge before someone cuts it out, or worse, as I'm sure you have already endured. Why risk it? The wizards doing was none of my own! He shall be repayed ten-fold in his next life! It's advisable to become a better being Yourself so that you don't meet the same fate in your next life. Every action has a reaction. Remember this!" She turned on a dime her hair flinging past their faces. Dia took a few steps and then turned back to look at Flint, her eyes narrowed.

"Vinimaya! May the God's soften your heart!" And with that she took off back towards the town of Thoranhall.

"Damn my big mouth!" Flint said slapping his head.

She was right, Dia had done nothing to the rude crow. He was free from the wizard's clutches but not free from the hate. He still had a long way to go to fully trust 'humans'. The bird did not want to cause a rift in the already fragile group.

"Wait!" Flint leaped out of Lila's embrace and chased down Dia.

"I'll be right back!" he assured Lila.

"Hey you! Ma'am! Please come back! I'm sorry."

Flint flapped his weak wings to catch up to Dia.

Dia stopped in her tracks and looked back to see Flint attempting to follow after her. He was struggling. Not until that moment did she realize she had never seen him fly.

"Please come back! I'm sorry!" He said.

She was suprised to hear the words come from his mouth, er beak. She walked over to him and picked him up to put him at ease from all of that struggling to follow her. She smiled and said, "It seems your heart is softer than you think. But we need not tell anyone." She winked. Dia appreciated his apology "You are a strong one, Flint. And you have earned my respect before all others I have met on my journey." ....She felt a pang of sadness within her while she held the large bird. A beautiful bird with wings that cannot fly... wings that have been locked up most of his life.. She couldn't imagine. She understood his distaste for humans, especially the magic welding kind such as the wizard who held him captive for so long, and such as herself. She wondered if she could use healing abilities to strengthen his wings so he could fly again.

Dia stood there wondering if she should go back and wait with them for Belsair and Kyngerz or continue to Thoranhall. She sighed and began walking back towards the spot where Lila sat, carrying Flint.

@Kry @RP Marshall @Delacare @KingsPlague

Lila let Flint go when he flitted away from her, but she watched his every movement, as he called out and struggled to approach the other girl. Lila was a bit worried, but she didn't feel as if there was anything she could do, so she just sat and waited. Soon the other girl was carrying Flint towards her. For the moment those too seemed to be getting along, and Lila offered a tentative smile.

Enjoying his lift back to Lila, Flint said to Dia, "Sorry about my attitude back there. Your name's Dia, right? Dia, I'm striving to become a better creature. I don't want you to leave the team, especially if it's on my account. The old wizard did wrong me but as you pointed out, it doesn't give me the right to treat others like filth. I promise you Dia (and you too Lila) I will never treat you nor any other human badly again."

The bird crossed his heart and smiled at his new friend. He needed to keep the team strong. The gods know that they were at each others throats already. Kyngerz needed to remain with the team. Belisair, please! Don't let him leave us.

"Hmm! I'm becoming quite a softy," Flint said to himself with a chuckle.

Rex made his way through the street, casting uneasy looks around as he realized that people were beginning to stare. At this point, he had grown lost because of his unstable memory. Not that he cared that much, as long as he was in a village of sorts, he would figure things out eventually. Eventually finding his way back to the inn, he sat down at the chair, then frowned when he realized that he was out of money. Having woken up so late in the morning, he had missed most of the events that had taken to pass between the others. That was, of course, just a plot tool because knightling was unable to read two pages without a recap.

Rex sighed and leaned against the table, his stomach growling as he eyed the other customers.

"It seems like we both have someone whispering in out ear. I am not in love with Lila, but I do care for her a great deal."

"I see you still need some time to yourself. I'll head back and go collect everyone. I can find you anywhere so take all the time you need." He fluttered up and searched the Palsiet's eyes @KingsPlague for something before heading back to Lila and Flint.

"Zephyr, I may have broken a seal in his memory. There's something extra in his gaze. I don't like it at all."

Belisair glided back to the meadow,and saw that Dia had joined Lila and Flint. It looked like his crow was really turning over a new leaf.

"Everyone, Kyngerz and I have come to an understanding. He still needs some time to himself and will join us before we head to the Temple. What we need to do now is go and collect our little party before someone causes more trouble than I already have."

He turned back to Thoranhall, "Lila, Flint come. You too Dia." @Kry @RP Marshall @ragingfire

The camp fire was old, only dried ash remained. Sniffing the ground, the one-eyed Alpha could sense another being. The fragrance was sweet. The two murderers had a friend.

*COUGH, COUGH!*

Green tinted blood dripped from the wolf's mouth. Its fur was all gone now. The poison was slowly killing the Alpha and even oozing out of its body.

"I must hurry! My vengeance is fleeing from me. They must die! I must kill them! Son... Family... Friends... I will not die yet. I swear it."

The wolf continued his final hunt...

Somewhere deep inside of the forest where lots of life graced was a giant figure covered in vines and other things that had grown over it from the years and years it had lied there. Animals jumped over the figure's legs as it was blocking their path. Suddenly though there was a flash of lightning. Even though there was no clouds in the sky the lightning strike still occurred. And it hit the figure square on top of the head causing a spark of it's own to light up in it's eyes. As the system to the figure rebooted it's self and finally turned on it's eyes wandered from left to right without moving it's head. With a slight struggle the creature got his arm and hand free which he used to free the other stuck limbs tangled up around it. "Where..Am I." It's booming voice echoed throughout the forest. It slowly stood up making trees shake along with the ground beneath him. It looked through the forest it in front of it confused as to where he was.

With a step forward the ground shook even more than when he was getting up. It took another step.. Then another.. And another until it was going at a steady pace. He almost uprooted the smaller trees just from moving his legs.

"Alright! So...let me try testing it" Chesire stood up and looked around. "But where?" she said as realization dawned to her. She slapped herself for being an idiot before leaving the inn to leave the town and went to the forest. It was a good thing she brought her basket, after all it did held alot of valuable stuff.

Running deep into the forest, she could already feel the energy infused with her guns as she ran faster. She started to smile and closed her eyes before a loud banging of metal was heard. "Hak- Ow!" Chesire fell back and stumbled as she landed on the ground, rubbing her head from the pain. However, she didn't know that she happened to run towards a giant.

@Kippers

It felt something run into it and then a voice. It must have came from whatever hit 'him'. With careful footsteps the giant stepped backward to investigate the source of the noise and found that it had came from a creature below him. To get a closer loo at whatever it was he slowly got into a crouching position. The metal creaked ever so slightly as he tilted his head to the side.

For some reason, although she did not know them well, she was relieved and bit happy even that Belsair and Kyngerz were able to have a talk and that they didn't fight. She followed after Belsair along with Flint and Lila. @Delacare @KingsPlague @Kry @RP Marshall

Lila was relieved and a little apprehensive when Belisair returned. She didn't think she should expect an actual punishment from him, but part of her still did. It would take time for her to get rid of that kind of thinking, however, she did stand and move close to Belisair as they walked back towards the Inn. Her head was downcast, eyes watching the ground, and she was silent. Her tail was nearly motionless behind her as they went.

The day has barely even started, and already Belisair was feeling exhausted.

"Lila I have no intention of punishing you. If you would please stop trailing behind me as if you had already been beaten, I would feel quite satisfied and call it even." @Kry

Belisair decided to just leave Flint with Lila until he felt the need to seek Belisair out; obviously the bird's closeness was strengthening Lila's resolve.

"Assuming that Lena @JJKab went back to the Inn, we still need to find the not-so-dead Rex and the shadowy Cheshire. Any idea where they may be, Dia?" @ragingfire

@Knightling @CandidFox

Kyngerz had decided not to head into the town, the day had not started well for him and he had chosen to wait outside the gates for his companions to return before heading to the temple a few of them so eagerly searched for.

You know what happened

You know that the Sylph will try and kill you once he finds out

And once he does....

A voice taunted inside the mind of the Palsiet, much deeper and even older than his own, he simply shook it off and stared at the hilt of his blade.

The red hood hid her face from the giant as she hissed softly from the pain. Shaking her head, she looked up to shout at the person but stopped and stared at the giant crouching over her.

"W-woah..."

Her blue eyes stared back with a mix of shock, curiosity, slight fear and wonder. Her long blond hair falling from the hood as it revealed its soft yet childish face. The creature was so big! This is the first time she has seen someone so tall and made out of metal.

"W-hat...are..you?" She asked and stared at his (she thinks it's a he) eyes.

The giant fully sat down onto the grassy floor beneath him before his metal finger pointed towards himself. "I..Giant?" He said with more of a question. There was a dent in the side of his head indicating that he hit his head pretty hard before he shut down. He then took the same finger and pointed it to the person below him. "You...Who?" He asked trying his best to communicate.

@CandidFox ((Sorry if my posts are a little short. xD One of my typing fingers are swollen.))

After a while, Lena came back into Inn, and slowly went to her room, humming quietly. She wondered about Lila @Kry , thinking about how she could help her. She decided to be on her every call, when she needed anything.

@Anyonehere

"A giant...Iron Giant?" Chesire said due to his body made out of iron....or is it? She resisted herself to reach out for him and just snuggle him. "Me?" She pointed yo herself and giggled. Cuddling her basket close to her, she smiled and spoke quite shyly all of a sudden. "I'm Chesire!" She giggles and looked up. "Where are you from?"

(its ok lol)
