The Secret

She smiled softly as she wrapped her arms around him and yawned softly. She allowed herself to think, having never thought about what they would call themselves if asked. "Hey babe...if you were asked, what would you call me?" She asked as she looked down at him.

Zachary turns and looks to her. "Huh?" He asks, quietly. He had been lying across the fluffy rug as he always did and was fiddling with it gently, snuffling softly as it made him want to sneeze, ticking his nose.

Akira watched with a small smile as she shrugged. "What would you call me? Like just a friend or would you say Im your girlfriend?" She asked as De watched him in fascination.

"What would you call me?" He asks softly as he fiddles with the carpet still, he soon sat up and then gazes at the fire that was currently crack.ing away in front of them as he waited for an answer.

Akira heaitated as she thought and smiled slightly as she watched him watch the fire. "My boyfriend..." She said softly as she looked down, blushing Crimson red as she played with a small frayed piece of the couch.

Zachary nods and blushes gently, wrapping his arms around himself. He soon stood up and looked outside on the window, switching into his little wolf form as she stood upright.

Akira smiled softly as she stood up and walked over to him. She sat down beside him, gently petting his fur as she kissed his head . "What is it?" She asked as she looked over at him affectionately.

Zachary snuffles lightly and nuzzles against her hand, closing his eyes gently and then opening them again to look up at her.

"It's okay," she said softly and smiled as she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him gently. "I'm thinking about moving out," she said suddenly as she looked at him.

Zachary watches her and then looks down slightly, nodding vaguely. He soon switches back and looks to her. "Why?"

"Not far. I promise. I just want to move out of here. I'm eighteen so im legally an adult and I want a place of my own," she said as she laid down with her head in his lap. "I'm not leaving you," she said softly as she looked up at him.

Zachary glances up at a clock and then stood up. "I have to go now. I have some, uh.... Homework to be doing" He says with a shrug.

Akira hesitated, opening her mouth to protest before closing it and nodding sadly. "Oh...okay," she said softly as she looked down and headed upststairs to her room without another word.

Zachary muttered something under his breath. He didn't actually have any homework to do, since school had ended in the first place. He began to wander out, shutting the door behind him as he made his way back to his den, slowly.

Akira laid down with a sigh as she curled up into a ball and began crying. She couldn't help but wonder why he didn't want to spend time with her. She knew immediately he didn't have homework. You can't have homework when you don't have school, but she didn't want to start an argument and she didn't want to keep him somewhere he didn't want to be.

The following morning Zachary walked casually through town as he went into a supermarket, picking up a basket and beginning to buy a few items which the pack needed, placing them into the basket.

Akira woke up and walked outside onto her porch. She sat down silently, wondering wondering why he didn't want to stay. She crossed her legs and hugged herself gently.

Zachary began to walk back towards his den, he quietly began to walk last where Akira lived he had a hoody on and was currently wearing black sunglasses so she wouldn't see him and demand why he had left. He began wandering pas with his shopping bags.

Akira watched someone walk by but remained silent as the tears flowed. She began singing softly as she looked down, rocking herself back and forth.

Zachary kept his distance. If he kept on hurting her then it was best if he wasn't there, he say in his den most of the day, not coming out or talking to anyone.

Akira had gone inside, realizing he wasn't going to talk to her unless she pressed him to. She got a shower and slipped on a pair of white ripped along jeans. She took a pair of scissors to one of her Evanescence tshirts, cutting off most of the sides and the sleeves. Slipping it on, she brushed out her hair and did her makeup before nervously walking out and heading to Zachary's den.

Zachary had been sleeping just inside his den quite peacefully, curled up in a small ball when he was awoken by the morning sunlight. He sat up and ran a hand through his bed hair, deciding to take a shower in a nearby pond, the cool water was refreshening and clean as he stepped in after taking off his clothes.

Akira had backed out and spent the night in the woods rather than going home. When she woke, she noticed him leaving and took a deep breath. She got up and brushed herself off before heading into his den, sitting down and waiting on him.

Zachary had wandered back to his den with a towel in his hands, fully dressed in casual clothing. He stops when he notices Akira. He would have to talk to her now, he watches her.

"Some homework," she said softly as she looked down. She didn't mean it in a hurtful way though. She stood up and walked up to him. "Why would you lie to me?" She asked as tears began forming in her eyes.
