Fantasy The Return of Corruption

Raziel Cedliethal
"Damn it." Raziel said, quietly to himself. No one responded to his knocking on the church's door... "Troubling." he muttered. He laid Ari on a nearby rock and then thought

Perhaps I can summon and revive him... too risky. Necromancy is out. My hands are tied... unless, I can enter his unlife?
He took out the Dreambinder scroll and looked at it. I guess I have to use you, to get to him, huh? Very well. I hope my arrogance is not boundless, that I think I can find him

"This will be interesting." he said to himself, he rolled out the scroll and looked at Ari, then started reading the scroll's demonic words, in demonic speech. Normal people would barely comprehend it. Raziel learned to do so, within the Abyss. Who thought that spending nearly 700 locked up with demons, in constant agony and suffering would prove fruitful towards one's language?

Then soon after, a rift opened. Both in the Physical Realm and in the Limbo that Ari was in. Raziel clipped the demonic, menacing scroll to his belt and walked inside, as the rift closed after him. He crossed his arms and gave the God a scowl, recognizing her. Oh, yes. Deities, Gods, Powerful spirits. They all lived in the Void, or on tops of the Abyss. Judging and making fun of lesser, weaker souls.

"Now, now. Funny seeing the Gods, putting their voidless fingers here. I thought it was vile and sinister demons that made contracts? What would you even take in exchange? His soul is useless to you, unless you want him to be your champion. Now, I won't argue, but I want this man alive. I hope we can come to an agreement, deity." he said to the Goddess, with a slightly upset, but respectful tone. He was hoping the Goddess would recognize him as the Soul Reaver, Champion of the Abyss, and that he wouldn't have to consume Ari's soul to then puke it up or something. Or even to consume her, as it would be a pain to his vampiric stomach and it would be pretty hard to defeat her. Anyway, he was hoping the Goddess would recognize him and they could come to an agreement. He gave her a polite, patient smile, filled with confidence.

@Kylesar1
Ceralder had seen all that. "Huh." His head rolled over to Ari's body. Several miles away, a dog would find a femur sticking out of the ground. He took it, and ran off. "Damn dogs."

"You're intruding on something, Raziel, that doesn't concern you. Waesmor has made a contract with Kalai-Pahoa already. We don't bargain souls, something you Voidwalkers specialize in." The goddess said, putting her sword in the ground. Wind and Flower Petals flowed around her. Raziel's name was known to a lot of gods and goddesses.

"Oh, but I will ensure you. It very much does concern me. This man is required for my plans. You very much should be aware of the state of the Physical Realm. I want him to return to his body, now. I will rip his soul from here, then puke it up back into his body, if I have to. He will play an important role in the upcoming events." he said, looking the Goddess in the eyes. He felt the wind going on his back, but ignored it, he had a physical form in this Limbo, but he wouldn't worry about that now, all Physical Forms can be regenerated, or even created, it was the soul that mattered. He did not materialize the Hellreaver yet, but he set it to the most powerful option, 'Spirit Reaver'. It would cut anyone's soul apart into tiny shreds, if a battle with the Goddess took place, he would not hesitate to use it, so he held his weapon at bay.

Ari lay in the middle of the rubble, unmoving and not breathing
Xocotxi lay wrapped around him

@Birdsie

Elaina was dead tired. She walked back in to Arabelle's room, panting heavily. "Arabelle. Daddy's..........back." She collapsed to the floor

@Paint The Wind

Ari's world was black, then it slowly formed a new world. Ari's soul was now in Limbo while his body apperently lay dead. He looked up, breathing slowly

"Ari.......Waesmor."

A figure appeared in front of him

art-devushka-bronya-mech-plasch.jpg
Arabelle calmed down and pulled Eliana into her arms and tried to take care of her, holding her tightly and crying.

The goddess maintained her posture. "He's not dead, Raziel. He was never dead. If Sandro could survive, Waesmor could survive. We pulled his soul into Limbo to discuss his contract with Kalai-Pahoa while his magic recharged. As I said, We don't bargain with souls. We're well aware of the situation of Earth. However, Zeus told Us to not interfere any further. Tiresias bestowed his Sight unto Arabelle, and We planted Lightbringer in the Well to strike down Khan."

"We don't discuss the details of Waesmor's contract with a Voidwalker unless they either have business with Us or his name is Hades or Lucifer."

This goddess had a weird way of speaking, using "us" and "we" as a proper noun

@Birdsie

In a very deep pit, at the heart of the world, Sepentireons true self stirred. His nightmare was in danger of escaping...

He contacted Sandro again

"I grow tired of waiting... If this one you are speaking with is posing a problem, I can break him for you."

Sandro shrugged, and followed where they carried Ari's body. He whistled a tune while he walked, still leaning on the staff.

He reached out with his mind. "Calm yourself, I can leave whenever. Do you want me to get their information? Or do you already know everything." He gave the mental voice on the last line a hint of mockery.

He chuckled at the Goddess "Oh, truly not dead. His heart is not beating and he has no pulse. Is your arrogance truly that boundless, that you have to speak with mortals about striking down Khan? If you truly cared that much, why did you let Amos out of his prison in the first place? You'd believe Alreos would assign someone to take care of that." he laughed a little and with amused eyes looked at the Goddess, then taking a deep breath after his previous laughter said "I see, I see. Now, I know why the Elder God abandoned us all! You Gods were simply too indulgent for his taste!" then laughed a little bit more.

He then added "Why do you keep refering to me as Voidwalker? That's stepping quite low for your standards, you very well know what power I posess and how I can make use of it. You can think of your contract as unsealed, for then I will take Waesmor's soul back to his realm. You are about to make a deal with me, or I will rip him from your hands... but, first of all. It interests me. Why do you keep using 'Us' to refer to yourself? Do you Gods have some alliance nowadays, that I do not know about? Interesting." Raziel said, with a clearly curious and wondering voice. The Goddess would come to his terms, or he'd rip Ari's soul of the Limbo. He'd even consume her, if he absolutely had to. Well, he'd try. Gods are powerful even for Raziel, however a direct hit with the Hellreaver's Spirit mode and that damn Goddess is done for.

He took on a very confident approach and face, then walked up to Ari, looking him in the face. He motioned his hand towards him and said "Come with me, if you want to leave." with a weirdly calm, but friendly tone.

OOC
I've got to go, as I warned before, I won't be on for 4 days. See you guys later, perhaps in the Sequel? :3

Raziel Cedliethal

Afterwards, Raziel dropped his hand and said "Hmph. Well then, Goddess..." he turned to her, then said "I will leave. However, my plans will not be foiled by his death, if you intend to bring it to him. I have waited hundreds of years for this point." sighing, he walked away from the two, then turned his head around, to face Ari "Give Arabelle and Ceralder my regards, friend." with a smirk.

Raziel took out the Dreambinder scroll and read the demonic incantation. A rift appeared, one that walks into the Physical Realm. Raziel understood that Khan would be slain anyway, as all of the God pantheon was trying to make it happen. He understood that his input was not required, but he would still profit from these events. Now it was time to continue his plan, he would embark on the quest to find his clan.

Raziel walked through the portal and said "Goodbye." to Ari, then the Rift closed behind him.

Raziel would go on, on an attempt to find the remanants of Clan Razielim, and would not give up, as he knew that even over hundreds of years his great Clan could not perish in any way. Perhaps this confidence would be his downfall? He didn't care. His wings grew out and he jumped high into the air, then flying into the distance.

Cross turned around ready to take off again but stopped realizing how helpful the Elf healer could be on the main force in Toron. "Hey if its not much to ask could you help the people in Toron? We're low on healers over there and the last surge of demons have left a few people with bad injuries."

@Gabriel97

Katherine jumped out of the way, but she was too slow and a few hooks grazed her shoulder, her skin started to heal up quickly "Because I have knowledge that you can't even access." She said catching hard breath.

(Sorry for the wait @GreenEyedStranger )

Sepentireons centipede laughed and circled around her, closing in.

"Well, I guess I should find out then..."

"Make your choice" Sandro thought "I will return now if you dont want me in there. "

Raziel took his leave.

"Anyways," the goddess said, "I offer you a new era of magic to go along with your new era of life. You have shown incredible magic ability, being able to shoot off your forbidden spell while maintaining both your familiar and 3 other spells."

"What are you to gain from this? Kalai-Pahoa wanted the souls of those I killed with poison as sacrifice."

"All I want in return is the souls of the innocent. The good people who die for nothing. This world is a cruel place and people may meet an untimely end. Use a Holy Wind to lift their souls to paradise. I want you to renounce your Black Assassin name and become a Wind Walker. No killing unless it's necessary."

Ari knew he was done being the Black Assassin when he spared Sandro's life. Too much death plagued the team and Ari contributed at least 700 souls to the Abyss

"What do I gain..........and what do I lose?"

Ari's body had been carried into the church and laid down in a pew

Elaina woke up sometime later in Arabelle's arms. Some of her magic came back. "Hey Arabelle," Elaina said with a tired smile

Sandro strolled to the entrance of the church. "HELLOOOO people. I have brought back, whatever his name is! Father, lover, not a bad Fighter! I'm going to have to ask for permission to come in here though. " he sat there leaning on his staff, fingering a silver dagger

Sandro had seem some pretty weird things. He'd dealt with undead before. But usually not so casual as a head rolling around. "Oh my god that's actually disgusting. Um...can I come in?"
