Arabelle shuddered at the mere mention of Alreos' name. She felt memories creeping into her head and she tried her best to suppress them but started to cry.

Right now we got two options. Option one: group up with the adventurers. Option two: we do what we can here in Toron to keep the people's morale up. I'm going to leave our choice up to you guys. Just let me know when you've decided."

Noam looked towards the entrance of the city. It was clear for a moment. "I think it's best to stay. We have more demons to fight. I talked to my dad, and they're at some place in the mountains looking for a sword called Lightbringer. They already found it, so they should be on their way back soon."


Ethan nodded. "He's right. If Hell is in chaos, the demons won't stop coming. This is just a small break in the wave. If we group up with the adventurers, we'll just end up back here. We should stick it out and keep these innocents safe until they come to relieve us...........Hold on though, if Hell wasn't in Chaos, Would you be able to summon Berial? I just want to know our efforts accomplished something."

Ethan looked at some the crevices of Hell. The influx is slow as of now. "If we have some supplies, potions, rations or whatever, we should take the time to use them. This is the calm before another storm."


He fidgeted with something around his neck. His Golden Acorn.

Increases his defense and gives slow-speed regen when worn. When eaten, it lowers his defense, but raises everything else: Attack strength, Attack speed, move speed, reflexes, Magic power, and grants him faster regen for 10 minutes. He could've used it against Tyr and closed the gap in strength by quite a bit, but the raised defense from not eating it was what was keeping him alive from taking all that punishment.


Alreos enchanted his necklace to generate a new Acorn 12 hours after the one on the necklace is eaten. It was his last resort, and he only used it twice since receiving it

Katherine rolled her eyes and continued through the dark woods until she heard multiple twigs snapping and stopped, hand on hilt of her sword, ready to strike, watching the figure, she poised for any sort of move against her.

As it approached, it seemed to be a man or something like that inside a monstrous suit of armor. It glimmered eerily, though a slick translucent black substance covered the armor. He carried a shield almost exactly his size and a huge halberd with a broad blade. He approached and let out a growl, holding up his shield as he approached

The great armor deflected the strike. The knight once known as Bastille raised his shield and struck it down at Katherine as he spun to face her. With his other hand he raised his halberd high in the air.


The dark trees above parted, pouring in light as a huge dark hand pushed through. It was Sepentireon. He slithered to the ground and prepared to attack.
