Fantasy The Return of Corruption

Cross was silent. Unsure of where to go from here. "Here I am at the end of this chain of events. After this what do I do? Where can I go? Do I even have the luxury to stop being a mercenary?" Cross had many questions but no answers to any of them. Cross poked his head into the room Tyr was in. "Hey Tyr mind if I ask you something?"

"What do you want?" Tyr said. He had just finished sharpening his axe (which was VERY laborious work) and was about to spend some time with Alex. "And could you make it quick? I was going to spend time with my son after this."
 
The children appeared after some time of sitting in silence, Ryan/Ryanne and the blind Willow/Johann. "We're back out of Dream World!" they both said happily. "Do you mind if we sit with Mommy and Daddy for a while?"

(I notice the children can access dream world. I'll say this one more time, just to make sure you got this. Only Katherine and Sepentireon have the power to get her out of the dream. If Sepentireon dies, the dream is destroyed, and Katherine's mind is thrown into oblivion. Just for future reference)

(Look, I already told you before I wasn't gonna interfere. I never planned to interfere. Your omnipotence is safe. I can sit here and explain why it'll be impossible to interfere if I wanted to regardless of what happens to Katherine, but I don't feel like it.)

(Alright sorry about that, I just had a really intricate story plotted out for this that @DarknessSpirit and anyone else reading might find interesting)

Arabelle giggled and hugged Ryan/Ryanne hard. "I love you sweetie. Eliana, get over here."
 
Ryan/Ryanne giggled in the hug, hugging her back. "I love you too Mommy."


Elaina stood in front of them. "Is there something you need?" She asked


Ari picked Willow/Johann off his back and held them. He could tell that the blind child would be a daddy's shadow and Ryan/Ryanne would be mommy's. He couldn't wait until these kids were born. He was already loved them

"I want you to sit with us, you need to be with us in this family cuddle time." she said with a smile. "All we need is Noam and we'll be complete."

Tyr took a deep breath, set down his whetstone and axe, and then laid a hand on Cross's shoulder.


"No. None of us will be able to live a normal life. Adventuring isn't a thing you come back from un-scarred. Hell, I am still getting used to eating every day and not waking up to the sound of battle. But once you make that decision to step out of your door and travel the road that has been offered, there's no going back."
 
Katherine rolled her eyes and continued through the dark woods until she heard multiple twigs snapping and stopped, hand on hilt of her sword, ready to strike, watching the figure, she poised for any sort of move against her.

"Noam is defending himself in Toron. According to him when I talked to him.........." Ari held up his pair of Communication crystals, one for Elaina and one for Noam. ".....he teamed up with Ciri and the Squirrel leader we fought earlier to defend the city. Looks like that squirrel isn't as evil as Corrupted Alreos and Khan, or that child molester. I'm glad I can count on him enough to leave him alone."


Elaina hugged them. "I love all of you," she said, giggling.


Willow/Johann looked at Ari. "I can't wait to meet my brother," the child said sofly
