Natallia narrowed her eyes. Where had she met him before? She could've sworn she knew him... Mentally she shook herself. She had a charge upstairs to defend. "I have no interest in fighting you. State your business or be on your way."

Raven planned walked into the inn, planning to rob it, but she immediately stopped. She examined the place. It seems... empty. She pursed her lips, starring at the door. She then finally shrugged. Makes my job easier. She then realized that the door was broken, so she just casually ran in, and just for funzies, yelled, "PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR, I'M CONFISCATING YOUR MON--" she stopped, realizing that the inn was fairly empty, but noticed a couple of people inside, along with a dragon.

"Oh... uh..." she noticed the tension in the air. "Damn, guys, lighten up. It's like you're going to war or some shit," she giggled silently to herself. "Now, don't mind me. Go along with your business..." she slowly looked around, trying to find a stash of money. "I'll just do my business.. and uh," she looked around, and then her eyes rested on a man with a scar. She slowly walked up to him. "Dude, you look like a criminal. Here," she took out a card from her pocket, and handed it to him.

"Name's Raven Woods. Need anything? Information or somethin', I got it. Any criminal that's givin' you a hard time, say my name. They'll recoil. No one wants to get on my bad side."

She grinned, cockily.

Marcus kept a neutral expression in his face as he gazed at the woman. “You know why I’m here Natallia.” the voice that was once calm turned o frustration and slightly gravely. Then out of nowhere a woman appeared making her way into the inn and back out into the open as him and the woman had a stand off.

Much taller and muscly he was like a tower to her. Brave he thought o himself. He was almost surprise at the confidence the young woman had as she strolled up to him, the way she was speaking was also a rather interesting experience. “Well well little raven. How about you fly away.”

“There’s been a few people rush down there now, and what was that bolt from earlier? Maybe we should go and see what’s happening? They could be putting others in danger.” Vicky said watching both a woman step outside the inn and then another woman dash up to the entrance. Her heart was racing, fingers twitching at the thought of getting into a fight.
“You’re right. Something is going on in there, let’s go and find out what. Come on.” Her mother said, not wasting any time in commanding the eagle to glide to the entrance of the inn.

They quickly assembled outside the inn where everyone else was.
“What’s going on in here?” Vicky’s mother declared, she turned to the woman that had dashed up to the inn. “Was it you who summoned that bolt to destroy the door? You do know you’re at an inn correct? This is an awful place to be behaving so violently. Who are you all anyway?”

Vicky broke eye contact with the others as her mother spoke. Her mother was going about this in a bad way, the atmosphere in the air was clearly tense and Vicky knew her mother wasn’t going to make anything better with her aggressive tone. Vicky simply stood beside her waiting for the inevitable backlash from the rest of the people- of which she could’ve sworn that the man looked familiar.

Raven cringed at the scarred guy. D-did he just insult me!? Gritting her teeth, she started to laugh at him. "Dude, and I thought I was dumb. Humans can't fly, you twit." She wiped off an amused tear from her eye. "Anyway, I'm real happy that you read the card, at least. My name is pronounced Rah-ven. I said that in my introduction as well. Do you need hearing aids?" She sneered, fixing her belt. "Anyways..." she handed him another card. "I know you'd probably rip the first one up, but you may keep the second."

She adjusted her boots, feeling the sharp end of the dagger in her shoe poking her.

What? You never know when you need weapons.

Suddenly, some creature came in. “What’s going on in here?” She said. She then turned to Raven. “Was it you who summoned that bolt to destroy the door? You do know you’re in an inn correct? This is an awful place to be behaving so violently. Who are you all anyway?”

Raven snickered. "No. I wish, though. And yes, I know this is an inn. Why else do you think I came here? To masturbate?"

(OOC: I thought we were outside... But okay I guess we can be in the inn now)
Natallia kept up her fiery snake spell, watching more people shuffle into the inn. An older woman with a girl who appeared to be her daughter. She also recognized the older woman, but again couldn't place her. A young girl who went by Raven Woods, an informant Natallia had used in the past few years. In Ivaeus there was no one better. Strange to have so many people Natallia recognized in a hidden inn of all places...
Natallia dropped the fiery snake, and instead stamped her foot. "Peelsa!"
Purple and white strands shot out from her foot, heading towards every person in the room. Natallia watched carefully, to see if her spell would take effect.

(OOC: Let me know if the spell hits you and I'll let you know what it does.)

Leia

“Shh, Don’t worry about talking right now.” She murmurs, her eyes gentle and almost maternal. It’s a rare thing to see in the Dragon Thief, but not unheard of, when it comes to young dragons. She pushes her hair back out of her face, making sure she’s done what she can for the little one. She looks like she’ll be fine with rest. She sighs, looking toward the door. She wants to help with the fight. But in the event that that man is a distraction, and they’re coming for the child, she can’t leave her alone. From the looks of things, someone already tried to kill her. AgWordSmith AgWordSmith

She listened and let her worries go as she slipped in a state between sleep and awake. Awake enough to listen to the fire. It was soothing to hear, probably the most familiar thing here. And unfortunately awake enough to hear a loud thud against the ground some where. Her brows furrowed, not wanting to think about what it was. Leia turned her head into the pillow slightly. She felt a bit drier now...or warmer? Either way it felt a little better, even with those other sounds, rather loud sounds.

Marcus was growing impatient now with all of the interruptions from the new people that had come into the room. His eyes however gazed to the young girl who had sold him the injections he had used for his magic. Then back to Raven as she spoke again. He took he card into his hands reading through it, perhaps he could recruit her but not now, too many here he knows would protect the dragon inside.

As Natallia shouted her grabbed the blue suited woman and raised his hand as a small shield stopped the flickering on the floor reaching them. Gruniting like a bear he looked at her. “Stop this. I will leave, but we will meet again Natallia.” As his shield dropped he shook his head as the pain strickened through the scar over his eye.

Turning to look at the young woman behind him now, his face was stern. “I think the Raven should watch where she flies.”

"Count on it." Natallia said coldly. She dropped her hands, watching her spell take affect. Marcus hid Raven behind a shield, but her spell hit the other two. She folded her arms, ignoring the rain now pouring on her face. She didn't have any storm spells, but if she did she'd definitely stop this annoying rain. The wind had kicked up too, a full storm coming into swing. She glanced at the two women now on the ground, and decided she'd deal with them inside and out of the rain. But she'd only make a move towards them once she saw this Marcus character and his pet thief leave.

With a smirk Raven turned on her heels, her cape flying out behind her as she dashed out of the inn.

Nate had just came back from scouting the outer area's of the Inn. He readied his sword from the sound of two unfamiliar voices talking about taking their leave. Nathan walked over to his sister to understand what had happened because he was extremely confused. He guessed that's what he got for falling asleep while on duty once again. "Umm...Natallia what happened?" He asked with a confused but cute look on his face.

Marcus shook his head before walking to his horse, standing for a moment he grinned to himself other a flick of his eyes. “You can’t protect them all of Natallia. Not forever.” With that said and done, he left. Putting his foot into the saddle stirrup her began his journey back to his camp. It would long, hard and cold. Most likely having to cause him to stop, make camp and rest for a while not to injure himself too greatly.

The rain continued for a many miles until he had to stop. Finding an giant oak tree standing on its own, he saw it was hollow with an entrance. Perfect, he said o himself. Slowly he began to collect firewood up, before a few stones. Hours began to pass as the sun was still hidden beneath the clouds that had engulfed the sky.

Skorzah hears that the fight is over, and opens the door, raising an eyebrow. “Right. Now that’s done, can you please explain why the kid was this injured?” She asks. It’s in her usual, blunt, almost angry tone, but her friend would probably recognize the signs of concern. She’s just worried about the child, and this is how that manifests. “You didn’t get hurt too, did you? Because I can’t deal with that.”

The approach of a woman in noble robes was watched by the two foreigners. The beast at their side also turned its head, sharp gaze narrowing on the nearing stranger. A feminine hand reached upwards, caressing the beak of the eagle with a familiar gentleness that echoed of the motions being well rehearsed. The young healer was completely aware of how fierce the creatures could be, wanting to ease her pet and the still uncomfortable guards that continued to surround them.

“Peace, dear one.” She hummed gently, her hand coming up to once more stroke along the grove of the creature’s beak. Within moments, the eagle calmed enough to rest her gigantic head atop the head of her owner, eyes still trained on the strange woman. Seraphina watched as the other woman admired her pet, patiently awaiting her attention. Eagles were truly wondrous beings and they were only local to the lands of Ivaeus, so it was natural for others to be captivated in their presence. Eventually, the woman was broken from her quiet reflection. Nesryn hide her chuckles of amusement, not wanting to displease the woman.

The introduction was one with formality, but held a tone of authority. Nodding, Seraphina offered the woman before her a formal bow. She knew that it would do well to respect nearly everyone in the palace, completely unsure of the mission that had been laid out before her.

“Hello, Lady Wrandym. I am Seraphina Aildaud-Naitli, royal healer of Ivaeus. This is my bodyguard, Klaus.” Her hand swept behind her, gesturing to the vigilant man that stood at her side. Niklaus merely nodded his greeting, not interested in conversation. His gaze still lingered on the guards, still discomforted with the fact that they kept their weapons withdrawn. He knew it would be ridiculous to blame them with the eagle standing at their side, yet he had expected a tad more decorum. Their travels was a matter of diplomatic importance, bridging a gap between their two nations.

A hand on his arm was felt. Glancing down, he was amused to find Seraphina patting his hand patiently while she continued to converse with the noble woman. She always had a way of calming him before he could get riled up- it was another talent she had. Bringing her hand to once more settle in front of her form, Seraphina brushed a stray hand of brown hair behind her ear.

“Would you like for me to send Sasha away? I know it can be disconcerting to have such an enormous animal in your courtyard.” The young healer asked the woman before her, not wishing to cause offense or trouble after she had barely just entered the palace. The creature had yet to lift her head, eyes still sharply piercing into the stranger her owner conversed with.

((OOC: SO SORRY guys))

Natallia watched Marcus leave, and suddenly remembered where she had seen him before. She had been in disguise before, and realized that he had been a dragon trapper she had... well, that she might've slept with a few years ago. Only to get information. And she had been in disguise, so there was no way he would recognize her. She said nothing to his comment, because she knew he was right. However, that didn't mean she wouldn't give it her all to save as many dragons as she could.
"Umm... Natallia, what happened?"
Natallia blinked, not noticing her younger brother standing in what used to be the doorway. "Nate. You look good. Did you get my message?"
Skorzah walked in a moment after Nate did. "Right. Now that's done, can you please explain why the kid was this injured?"
Natallia glanced upstairs towards Skorzah's room, where she knew young Leia lay. "I'll explain as soon as we get those two I hit with a sleeper spell inside. There's a lot of things to cover that you'll need to know."
As Natallia brushed past Nate, Skorzah asked, "You didn't get hurt too, did you? Because I can't deal with that."
"You know me, Skorzah. I never get hurt."

“Would you like for me to send Sasha away? I know it can be disconcerting to have such an enormous animal in your courtyard.”

Lady Wrandym squared her shoulders. "I believe that would be wise. Her Majesty is waiting in her private office. If you'll follow me?"
She turned on her heel and walked back into the castle, guiding the two foreign diplomats through the maze of the castle. She had grown up here, and were she to become blind would still be able to find her way around. As she approached the double doors that led to her mistress' office, the guards standing on either side opened the door. Inside, Queen Averian was finishing up some declarations at her desk. Behind her the large windows lit up her office but weren't glaring, bathing her in soft white light.
Queen Averian stood, and walked around her desk. She stood in front of it, and clasped her hands. "Lady Aildaud-Naitli, it is a pleasure to have you in our country. My greetings and well wishes to your king. Would you care for any tea?"

"Oh umm thanks, I'm glad you think so. Let's just say I got some extra rest and that caused me to not get the message. I guess luckily I came back from scouting in time so you wouldn't nag me the whole time about being late." he chuckled slightly. "Anyway I'll help get them inside so I can...really know what the hell is going on." Nate said before going over to help one of the two that were sleeping and carried them back inside.

Skorzah nods, satisfied with that answer. She’s not particularly gentle as she picks up the sleeping woman, somewhat resentful that she has to take care of these two at all. They’re a pair of humans that have yet to earn her respect. This is pretty much the best reaction one can expect from Skorzah given how angry she already is over the child being harmed.

Marcus rode for miles upon miles till he reached a mountain side. It was covered by water that fell down at high sped, he glanced round him to ensure he wasn't followed before he led him and his horse through the water into a cave that was coated in a stench of fish and blood. The echoing of metal clashing, dragons screaming and fires burning was overwhelming for anyone who hadn't been into his domain before. His hood was over hid head by this time but everyone knew when their leader had returned. His group continued to work as the prepared new weapons, caged dragons for transport and cooked for each other. Tents were filled with brutish men with little care but there was also the occasional woman, some shackled and some free to walk around but Marcus only headed for his tent. It was his humble abode that he only ever felt peace in. Rubbing his forehead between his thumb and finger a man rushed in, sweat dripping down his face with eyes wide as the moon.

"Sir, where have you been?! The men are restless. What are we doing?" He was impatient and demanded his answers.
Marcus looked up slowly before unclipping his furs and cloak. Falling onto the floor he stood up from his chair and walking over to the man. "The transports will be taken to where they are to be delivered. Otherwise, rally the men. We are to attack a thief tonight."

A few hours later...

Natallia stared intently at the fire, a cup of wine in one hand. She had barely sipped it. Her thoughts were never worried or anxious before now. She remembered a year ago when she first asked Alli to do this, how hard it had been to convince Eton to let her go. She hadn't told Eton of Alli's new situation, even though he deserved to know. Nate would probably disapprove if he knew that she had yet to tell Eton. But she also knew that if she did tell Alli's husband that his pregnant wife was sitting in a jail cell, he would storm the castle before they had time to prepare, getting himself--and likely Alli--killed.
She had explained the situation, let the others go off on their own. Alli Coppergold was in a Caligookish jail, pregnant with twins, according to her inside source. She had to be rescued before the twins were born, or else all three of them would be killed. Alli was already two months pregnant, leaving six months to prepare for her rescue. Natallia had planned to meet up at the Green Castle, where she had called several others to come help. There they could discuss battle plans, and how to breach the security of the Spellsmith capital of the world. Natallia had no idea how they would manage it, but they had to--for the sake of Alli and her children.
The woman and her daughter hadn't woken up quite yet. The spell would wear off in the next few minutes, and Natallia would explain to them that the inn wasn't open right now. Leia also had yet to wake up, though that was hardly unusual, considering what the child had been through in the last few hours. She had taken several arrows, not to mention the beating she received before she left with Natallia. Natallia closed her eyes, trying not to beat herself up over it. It hadn't been like Sia, but still. It was her fault that Leia lay in Skorzah's room recovering from injuries that were easily preventable. She sighed, and turned to go find Skorzah. She had no idea if Skorzah had received the letter, but she would know what to do. If there was anyone she'd want to have at her side to do this, it was Skorzah and her little brother, Nate. Both of them were extremely talented, and Natallia knew there were few that were better than them.

Skorzah looks up from where she’s been sitting with Leia. She’s been keeping a close eye on her condition, despite knowing there probably won’t be complications. She’ll never admit it, but Skorzah has a habit to get really attached, really quickly, at least when it comes to the dragons under her care.

She gets up to open the door for Natalia, having heard her footsteps. “What’s up?” She asks, her voice soft and calm, having gotten herself to relax a bit. Now she just seems sad, and tired. She just wants this war to be over and done with, so she and her kind won’t have to hide or be persecuted. She wants to be free.

Leia

Leia had found some peace and slept soundly for a good long while. She turned slightly in the bed. Her eyes opened slightly, more aware of what was around her this time around. She blinked. Some one spoke but not to her, turning over slightly agian Leia could recognize the shape of the woman as the one standing over her before. Another was at the door, she looked familiar as well. Did they bring her here? Where ever here was, thought she wasn’t complaining, it was warm and comfy here. The dragon girl just couldn’t seem to recall how she needed up here, and where here was. That would be nice to know.

Though, they looked Human from here, well one of them certainly seemed to be. Maybe she was sold after all, or something. Leia wanted to ask, to know what’s going on, but it didn’t feel right to speak. It seems like those two by the door were going to talk, and Leia wanted to listened. That is if she didn’t doze off agian in this nice....so very nice bed....

“What’s up?”
Natallia leaned against the door frame. "I'm not used to being worried about people. But I can't stop thinking about Alli. Did I ever introduce you?"
She nodded to the girl in the bed. "Maybe we should speak in private. I don't really intend to take Leia with us to go free Alli. Poor girl's been through enough."

Skorzah nods, and closes the door behind her. “Alright. No, we were never introduced. You know me, only two reasons for me to leave the inn. Gotta keep this place together.” She looks around the main room as they walk, a fond expression on her face.

She’s put a lot of work into creating this safe haven for her charges, her friends, and those that lend her aid and information. This is her home, and she will defend it.

Vicky's mother began to stir, she opened her eyes groggily and stretched her arms out, as if she'd awoken from a long sleep. Though it didn't take her long to realise that is exactly what had happened. Vicky was still asleep rather sound beside her, gave it al away. "Must've been a sleep spell..." She muttered to no one in particular, recalling the previous events and shaking herself awake, she got up and walked over to the closed door and opened it. She shut it quietly behind her, trying to to wake either Vicky or the other girl in the room. Looking around what appeared to be the main room she recognised one of the people there, it the woman that had fired the spell at her and the woman. She was accompanied by another unknown woman.

"Hello, I'm sorry to have barged in so rudely before, in fact thank you for putting my daughter and I here despite my behaviour. I dont want any more trouble and I will be on my way with my daughter shortly, I just wanted to ask if you could tell me where the Green Castle is." Vicky's mother said with a timidity in her tone that she didn't have before. She pulled out the letter she had received from a pocket in her clothing. Showing the writing and symbol on the letter clearly to both awake women in the room. Though she was aware of the risk of showing this letter to the wrong people, she highly doubted there was any risk that either of these women were against the dragon thieves in such a hidden place, especially since the unknown girl resting in the other room didn't look entirely human.
