Fantasy The Packs

Tasteless

Boink Bean

Season: Season of Birth (spring)

Time: Dawn

Fang

The muscular brute sits upon a large boulder that made up part of his den. His harsh amber glare scanning over the camp as wolves began to awaken. He inhales deeply, the scent of birth, and milk floods his senses, many creatures were giving birth around this time, hence the name; 'Season of Birth.' He sighs, he has yet to find a she-wolf whome he finds suitable to bear his offspring.

Cresent

The beautiful she-wolf sits within the shadows, watching the pack awaken slowly. She sighs, the scent of birth and milk lulled her slightly. A gust of wind carried the scent heavily, and made her silky fur dance. Cresent twitches her ears, watching as the to-be's began to wake up, as they usually did about this time.

Willow & Swat

Willow runs out of the to-be den, as fast as her short pup legs can carry her.

Swat chases after her, his slightly longer legs carrying him quicker. He leaps forward and tackles his smaller sister, who shrieks a shrill cry of shock as she is pushed into the dirt. The two quarrel slightly for a moment, kicking up a curtain of dust. When the dust clears the two are entangled, Swat pulling at one of Willow's ears, while Willow has her pointy fang's sunk into her brothers scruff. The two pant slightly, neither releasing one and other.

Reaper

The sky was painted a shade of Pink, and yellow, as the sun rose of the mountains far in the distance. Reaper slowly makes his way into camp, dragging a large bull Elk carcass with him. He drops the carcass in the kill pile, before licking his bloody muzzle. He normally hunted before the pack woke up, it was one of his normal routines. He slowly makes his way toward his typical basking spot, laying down in the silky, dew drop grass.

Sleet

The snow white pup sleeps soundly beside his surrogate mother, curled against her warm belly.

Nasreen lets out a groan of protest as light flickered it's way into the den waking her up. She slowly gets up to her feet and bends forward to stretch before her limber legs carry her outside of the den. She sits down to take in the morning view, thankful the weather was starting to warm up now that spring was here. She looks over at Fang as he seemed to be looking over his domain. She looks ahead again inhaling deeply to catch the scent of whatever prey may be nearby. She knew she'd have to go retrieve breakfast soon for the pack but for the moment was enjoying the quietness that dawn seemed to bring.

Sabre

The rather large two-be stumbles out of the two-be den, looking behind him as he ran after awakening Daisy, and Kyle. He looks forward, just as he slammed into Nasreen's limber legs. He whimpers, falling back onto his haunches. He shakes his head slightly, before looking up at the dark she-wolf. He brightens slightly, "Good morning Nasreen!" He says softly, he was rather quiet, and easy to manage, making him a favorite between the adult wolves. "Sorry for running into you.." He says softly, perking his ears as he stares up at her.

Lonelytaco

Fang

The large alpha watches as the young, yet muscular to-be runs into Nasreen. While she didn't seemed fazed, he was clearly shocked. He qatches with curious eyes, as Nasreen was known to be quite ill tempered, yet Sabre was one of the rather appreciated to-be's due to him being able to take orders, and he is rather quiet.

Haven

Haven laid on a rock sunbathing as she waited for her

pups at the to be den. Daisy was very strict about seeing her mother daily, and if she didn't she would not do any work for the day. These had always struck Haven as odd because Kyle was more standoffish towards his mother. Haven licked her paw as she continued waiting on the two to wake up.

Daisy

Daisy awoke to her brother nudging her with his snout.

She stood yawning as she made her way out of the den to her mother who was waiting patiently for her. Her mother would walk her to Nasreen, her mentor, then she would continue on with her duties as gamma. Daisy wished she could be mentored by her mother instead, but she suspected it was Fang's idea that Nasreen mentored her, and Fang's word was law.

Kyle

Kyle woke to the smell of birth.

He laid down for a while before waking up his sister Daisy, who he knew would annoy him the moment she woke up. When he finally did wake her, to his surprise, she got up quietly and ran out to their mother. Kyle stayed in the den until the two walked off, he prefered not to walk with the two so he wouldn't be shamed for making a mess. After the two were out of sight, he walked slowly out of the den, examining his surroundings looking for Fang.

Serafina growled, hating the first rays of sun. She crawled out of her den. Today was going to be exhausting and boring. Again. She watched over her pack ad they began to awaken, smiling softly. This is her home.

Ares smiled as he watched his pack. They were loyal and brave. A good pack for him. A pack he trusts. The kill pile was already stocked, and the pups playing. This was a good year. But it was coming to an end.

Willow & Swat

"Let go of me, you fox dung!" Swat growls, "I'll let go of you when you get your fat butt off me, turtle-brain!" Willow retorts. Swat growls and pulls himself free of his sister's grip, before the two begin to wrestle again, causing a ruckus of shrill yelps and growls, not knowing Ares was watching.

Erza Scarlet

Nasreen looks behind her at feeling something of considerable weight knock into her legs and gives a slight growl that was definitely an empty threat. "Sabre if you ever expect to become anything you must learn to be much stealthier" She reprimands, her tone was stern but not vicious. She tended to be a bit tough on the pups but the NightPack couldn't survive with overly nice members and she thought highly of her pack which consisted of believing each pup was destined to be successful in whatever endeavors they pursued. Discipline and tenacity in her eyes created successful wolves not softness and leniency. She stared down at the pup for a few more moments before nudging him with her foreleg to continue along. "And good morning to you too Sabre" She finally adds.

Sabre

Sabre nods slightly, "Yes Nasreen.." he says quietly. When she nudges him he brightens up once more. He looks toward Daisy, and wags his tail, totally forgetting about his small accident with Nasreen. "Hey Daisy! Wanna play?" He puts his rump in the air, wagging his tail playfully, his pink tongue lolling.

Fang

The Alpha male nods slightly, we'll handled. He thinks to himself, before noticing Kyle step out of his den and begin to look for his mentor. Fang smirks, before leaping off his quite large boulder, landing over Kyle, gently pushing him over with his snout. He growled fakely, before smirking. "Use your nose more, Kyle, it just may save your life one day." He says softly, before sitting back to let the pup regain his footing.

Daisy

Daisy wagged her tail with excitement as she retold

a story to her mother about Kyle killing a small mouse and sharing it with her. As she told the story, the mother nodded her head as she looked at the trees surrounding them. As they got closer to Nasreen, the young pup seemed to talk faster than jet speed. The two stopped a few feet away from the mentor's den. "I'll see you later Daisy." the mother said softly, however the pup looked down sadly. "Can't you stay for a bit?" she asked just before Sabre ran up to her, asking to play "Totally!" she screeched. The pup soon forgot her mother as she ran off to play with Sabre.

Kyle

Kyle turned in circles as he looked for

Fang. After a few moments, the pup sat on the ground frustrated and began to scratch his ear with his hind leg. It was then that Fang jumped out of no where. He yelped out of fear as he was penned momentarily. After realizing what had occurred, the pup stood shaking off as he did so. "I couldn't find you.." he said softly as he looked up at the alpha.

Haven

Haven shook her head as the pup ran off.

She smiled to herself as she began walking away. She thought of Kyle, who was being trained by Fang today. She didn't quite like that, but it wasn't something she was allowed to change, so she dealt with it. As she got closer to the middle of the Nightpack's territory, she could smell birth all around her. She had had both of her pups out of season, and now pondered if she would produce more offspring in the near future. There was no reason not to, she was proud of both pups that she had raised. The trick was finding a mate, and also protecting the pups from theives.

Sabre

Sabre swatted at Daisy gently, before running off. He chuckles, spinning around, he nips at her nose, deliberately missing. He pushes her over and nips at her playfully.

Fang

The rather large Alpha chuckles softly, "I was in my usual spot, Kyle." He scowls slightly. He glances toward Haven before back down at Kyle. "What do you want to learn today?" He questioned, gazing down at the significantly smaller wolf.

Kyle

The pup stared up innocently at his much larger

leader. "I dunno.. can I just follow you around while you do alpha things?' he asked before turning and looking eagerly at a small mud puddle a few feet away.

Daisy

Daisy pushed Sabre off her lightly before running off.

She ran in circles around her friend as she wagged her tail playfully. When Sabre got close enough. Daisy headbutted him softly on the side before pawing at his nose.

Sabre

The large puppies stumbled backward, bumping into Tamashii. He twitches his ears slightly, swatting at Daisy playfully, before looking up toward the healer. "Sorry, Tamashii." He says softly, nipping toward Daisy slightly, before swatting her ears gently.

Fang

He twitches his ears, he saw no harm in that. He nods, "alright." With ease the muscular alpha scales the steep boulder where he usually sat, before turning his amber gaze down at Kyle.

Daisy looked up at Tanashii apologetically "Sorry." she mumbled

as she hit Sabre with her tail smiling.

Kyle followed Fang up to his rock, staring back

at the puddle sadly. It would probably be dried up before he got the chance to play in it. He sighed before turning back to look ahead, but instead sees Fang looking down at him. "Yes?" he said as he pawed at the ground softly.

Fang

Fang twitches his ears, "are you coming up?" The boulder was slightly difficult for pups to scale, so Fang was interested if Kyle could do it or not.

Sabre

Sabre flattens his ears, before tackling Daisy. Nipping her slightly, growling playfully.

Naomi

The feathered beauty resided next to the entrance of the camp. Her tail curled around her as she watched and scented for any signs of distress or discord. Everything seemed in order, which pleased the organized deputy and filled her with a calming. She soon scented Fang with the to-be Kyle. She kept her gaze watching her Alpha as he continued upon his day.

Geai

His eyes flickered back and forth in excitement. Another day of dreams awakening, Geai thought as he stretched awake. He debated on whether to go look for herbs or check on his clanmates to make sure they had a rest full sleep. He watched as they all arose as he remained silent in thought, but not in actions. His tail flicked back in forth as his mind raced.

Ender

Ender stood in the middle of camp with that natural scowl upon his face. He was always way to serious as he waited for his clan to wake up in order to plan the day better. His orange, tan tail flicked the dirt on the ground and his paws began to kneed the ground as he got more impatient. Wolves just didn't wake up as early as Ender did, nor did they need to.

Willow & Swat

Swat and Willow tussel, not notcing Ender. The two to-be's continue to fight. Swat pins his younger sister, sitting on her. "You lazy rat!" Willow growls. Swat snickers, "at least I'm not as weak as a mouse." He retorts.

Cresent

she remains in the shadows, watching the pack begin to awaken. She yawns lightly, her teeth glint slightly in the rising sun, and she rolls onto her side, allowing the dew cool her warm fur.

Ender

His ears flick back, as he hears the sounds of the to-be's fighting and not so friendly either. Huffing, he turns around and approaches them, his fang peeking past his snout and giving him a more scary appearance. In a deep voice, he questions the to-be's, "May I ask what you two are doing?" Ender can't help, but appear angry, though he is not since he quite likes the younger generation, they just tend to view him poorly.

Willow & Swat

Swat snorts slightly, pushing Willow's muzzle into the dirt, before looking uo at Ender. He climbs off his sibling, "Willow woke me up.." He grumbles, he was known for being quite grumpy when awoken.

Willow whimpers, rubbing the dirt off her nose. "Doesn't mean you can push my nose in the dirt!" "It does when it deserves to be there!" He growls again. Willow rears up, before tackling her larger sibling, and they begin to fight again.

Ender

Ender sighs as he uses his massive paw to push the two apart. "Are you two part of different packs?" He questioned the to-bes not desiring an answer. " No, you aren't," he snarled, accidently. "You are both part of sunpack, loyal to sunpack. The last thing you should be doing is fighting over being awakened," he growled slightly. Ended grinned a little bit as he looked down at the young wolves. "Use your skills on the real enemy. You two are on the same side, I should hope," his grin got a little bit bigger, but his eyes still gave him a scary appearance.

(Last post for the night since I went to see my mother and my time zone is off by two hours. Night)

Yikuru and Kale

Yikuru padded around in circles just outside of the cave anxiously. "Come on, come on...!" the tiny wolf muttered. "Kaaaleee.... come on...!" The larger brother wolf emerged from the dimness, yawning and stretching. "Okay..." he sighed, "I'm here, jeeze... so where do you go now?" "We gotta go find Cresent," Yikuru explained, scampering ahead excitedly. "'Member?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah..." Kale groaned. "Why is it so early...?" "S'not early," Yikuru frowned back. "Is too." "Is not!" "Is too." "Is not!" Kale would have kept on like this for as long as his brother, but it was then that he caught sight of Ender seemingly chewing out Willow and Swat, the two other pups whose names he actually knew.

"Morning, Ender," the hunter called, a bit louder than was necessary. "Nice day today, isn't it?" With any luck, the other would turn his way, allowing his student and her brother to make a quick getaway. Yeah, that was how Kale operated. Yikuru frowned, looking impatient. "Kale..." he mumbled quietly, "I'm gon' go see Cresent, okay?" "Yeah, sure, buddy," his brother brushed off distractedly, and the small pup trotted off in search of his mentor.

Kyle

Kyle nodded his head at Fang as

the pup began to skip skillfully up the boulder. He had plenty of practice with this. Often when Daisy and him were playing, the two would climb the rock as a competition of sorts, that is, if Fang wasn't around.

Daisy

Daisy let out a small yelp as she was tackled.

the pup tried her hardest to push off the much bigger Sabre, but to no avail. Instead she lay pawing at Sabre's snout playfully.

Haven

Haven walked slowly through the Nightpack's territory.

She didn't have much to do today, so instead she relaxed as she watched the other pack members do their jobs.

She found a flat rock laying near a few pups playing and took the opportunity to sunbask on it. She did this often when there wasn't much to be done. Now she closed her eyes softly as the wind pushed her fur back.

Syris came out of his den looking for Swat is little apprentice. *where is that little rascal, I really need to stop staying out so late* thought Syris.

Willow & Swat

"Yes Ender."

"
Yes Ender." The two said back obediently. Once the large wolf turned away the two ran off, giggling. Willow slipped by Yikuru quickly, her soft fur brushing his, before she slips between Kale's long legs and accidentally stumbles into the den. She lands on her behind, shaking her head slightly, before looking up toward Kale. "Good morning!"

Swat instead of following his sister to torment her more, he runs in the other direction. He approaches Syris quickly, stopping just in front of him. Swat looks up toward Syris, his pink tongue lolling happily. "
Morning, Syris!"

Cresent

The odd colored she-wolf twitches hetook ears, when she hears Kale. She looks up, and spots her apprentice running toward her. She chuckles softly, "well, good morning, Yikuru." She sits up slowly, her silky tail resting on her paws.

Fang

Fang twitches his ears, pleased with Kyle's improvement. He looks out toward the camp, surveying silently.

Sabre

Sabre giggles, before getting off of Daisy. He twitches his ears, "who's your mentor again?" He asks, glancing around.

Kyle

The pup sat silently beside Fang for a moment.

"Do you like mud?" the pup asked cocking his head to the side as he walked around the alpha. "I do, but you don't look too dirty." He said examining Fang. He looked below to see Daisy and Sabre playing. "Daisy doesn't, but she's a pest. Neither does mother." He paused looking around to see if Haven was in sight, then whispered "But sometimes she still plays with me.."

Daisy

Daisy shook off her fur and looked at Sabre.

"Nasreen!" she screamed raising a paw to the wolf who was nearby.

Fang

The Alpha chuckles, "I used to , back when I was your age." He looks toward Kyle as he leans in and whispers that his mother still plays in the mud with him. He chuckles, thinking of Haven's snow white pelt covered in mud, and how much she must despise it.

Sabre

He frowns slightly, Nasreen would take Daisy away for training.
