Fantasy (。◕‿◕。)The Lunar Lotus Inn(。◕︵◕。) [All Are Welcome~! ]

Marguerite coughed timidly and pulled her collar up a little more, "Y-yes I'm totally fine and a-at this time. I'm Marguerite Valentino of the Grey. She wiped her sweaty palm on her skirt and reluctantly stuck out her hand to be shook.

@WhyNot

Bel pouted, puffing out her cheeks in protest. "I want two times the normal amount for compensation!" she demanded, rocking back and forth on her heels. "I was having such a good week too," she grumbled, walking back out to the dining room, sitting up on her usually spot, perched up on the window as the morning sunlight filtered into the area highlighting her unusual coloring.

"You can call me Rehiem Marguerite hehe" Rehiem said while he shook her hand his silk glove soft while his hand was firm but light. "What brings you here out of all places" Rehiem asked smiling as he scooted towards the table more.

@Cold Coffee

Removing her hand as quickly as she could with out seeming rude Marguerite smiled nervously..Sweat began to trickle down her back. "Well. I'm looking for a job, " the witch said a little less shakily, "this place needs my help." The grey witch rubbed her hand across the table, feeling the pain of the building. "Something happened here and a balance switched." Tilting her head to the side the witch gave the cold being a sideways glance, "Do you know what happened here?"

@WhyNot

Crossing his arms and closing his eyes Rehiem nodded his head. "Indeed I do it's sad really" He said sighing "You want to know" He then asked opening one of his eyes and looking towards her.

Adrasteia

Adrasteia tried to shrink as far into herself as she could when she heard Yukito approach her and when she felt his hand on her shoulder, she shied away for a moment before she realized it was gentle gesture. She finally looked up when he began to speak and was shocked to find that not only had he been smiling, but tearing up. Frantically, her eyes darted around, trying to look anywhere but his face. She stayed quiet when the woman named Bel popped in and demanded that the amount of meat be doubled then she disappeared again.

"Oh, there is no need for your apologies! I did that to myself, that was no fault of yours, and I'd be more than happy to help you cook." She smiled brightly at the thought of seeing Yuuki again, the little white fox had become oddly important to her. Still she was shocked that she was forgiven so easily. She frowned as she kept working on the stove, mindlessly moving ingredients as she was deep in thought. She frowned as she worked, looking rather sullen. She was glad that she was the only fatality that came out of the whole incident, but her owns actions left a great cloud over her thoughts. Not only at the inn either. Everywhere she had attacked or destroyed. She bit down on her lip in annoyance. How she had ever even fallen into that devious man's trap was beyond her.....

With a shake of her head, she cleared her thoughts and sighed. "So, are you better then? Last time I saw you, you were in bad shape......" Although she was speaking to Yukito, she spoke quietly, as though nervous to actually talk to him. Although he, and most likely Yuuki, forgave her and she could hug them for it, she still hadn't forgiven herself.

Yukito Himura

&

Yuuki

Spending the entire time underneath the table as the small fox had remained silent only to listen in on the conversation that had gone on between Rehiem and the woman who seemed to had been named as Marguerite; Yuuki had focused his large violet gaze between the two from underneath the table. Watching as to how their hand and leg movements had been from underneath whenever he could see anything. Shifting his small head from side to side only until the sound of the woman stating that she had been searching for a job and that she had become curious as to what had happened at the inn; the small creature would let a low whimper escape from his lips as he lowered his head down towards the wooden flooring of the ground. The thought of what had happened and the memory of the death from Adrasteia had been still quite fresh within the head of Yuuki as he pawed at the top of his own head, his tails drooping down towards the floor as he shook his head at the thought of her death. If only he had been stronger, maybe he could've stopped her or at least protect her. Nearly blaming himself for the woman's death, Yuuki simply continued to listen in on the conversation before another familiar scent had caught the small creature's attention. Peaking his head out from underneath the table, his large violet gaze had ended up noticing as to how it was none other than Belarose herself by her usual spot near the window. Seeing her, Yuuki quickly rushed his way out from underneath the table; scampering from underneath Marguerite's chair and rushing up towards Bel. Sitting on the floor with his head lifting up to stare up towards the woman, all of the creature's tails had been slightly lifted as he had an excited smile across his lips to be staring up at the familiar and common guest at the inn.

Although the small creature sat there staring up towards the woman; Yuuki's ears had still been clearly perked as he listened to the conversation from where he sat. Even from how far away the creature was; it hadn't changed that Yuuki's hearing was still strong enough to know what was being said when he wasn't right at the full conversation. If Rehiem had tried anything, Yuuki would end up saying something either way, he wasn't going to allow another person to end up almost being taken and turned into some kind of puppet of his own design. From what the small creature could remember from last night, it wasn't like the pale man should've been trusted for much longer. Obviously enough, Yukito hadn't known this.

---

All the while, after Bel had spoken about how she had now wished for double the original amount of meat she normally had received from breakfast all because the innkeeper had been late than his usual time that he had finished making breakfast. The once sheepish smile that had been upon Yukito's expression had immediately turned into nothing but pure shock and with a slight gapping mouth open on his lips. Before the dark haired male could even so much as get a single word out to try and negotiate with the woman, she had already left the room and most likely was going to sit in the dining room to await for her food. Exhaling a deep sigh in defeat, all Yukito could do was practically slouch completely forward before nodding his head. At least his energy was fully returned to him, now he could focus on returning the inn back to it's original state at the very least. As Yukito had rushed from one corner of the kitchen to the next to grab the ingredients to prepare breakfast for everyone; he hadn't bothered with the thought of his hat nor his apron since he knew well enough he was probably going to take a dip in the springs later to clean himself up for the morning. Luckily enough, Adrasteia had even agreed to help cook the food; so at least he had one pair of hands that weren't his own to help for this morning's breakfast.

Setting up the pans all around the different stoves as the innkeeper started the flame from each one along with some oil for each. While he had worked, the sound of the newly formed Adrasteia speaking about how he was doing compared to the last time she had seen him; the young male would nod his head with a chuckle of his own from time to time as he moved between the stoves to prepare the multiple dishes the entire time.
"Yes indeed. I'm doing much better. The rest was really worth it, I still have some burnt markings on my wrists and ankles..but they'll heal. Most of my energy has returned though..so I'm doing much better. How about you..? Last time I saw you, well...you know." While Yukito spoke as he continued to prepare the food, he wouldn't dare actually speak of the last time he had seen her condition since it hadn't exactly been one too excitedly explained about how he had seen her with a sword through her body and dripping blood the way she had.

"I'm not much of a gossip. But this place must be restored to balance, knowing what happened would help," Marguerite said in a low tone. She looked at the door to the lobby and couldn't help but feel pain. "It's my job to help."@WhyNot

(Fucking hell ever tried pressing backspace but it just sends you back a page then your stuff get deleted I hate that)

"Well some trouble with some angels after the innkeeper for whatever reason injuring him but I think he's fine now" Rehiem started to speak. "There was death a young girl I tried to help them with the corpse by reviving it but someone I won't name wouldn't let me even if it made her "friend" happy" Rehiem said tapping the table lightly then clenching his fist after but then he let it go. "Then there was a werewolf thing going on which ruined dinner but beside that everything been fine" Rehiem concluded. @Cold Coffee

Narrowing her eyes at the pale man sitting next to her she with drew and slid away from him. "Did you just say 'revive' and 'corpse' in the same sentence with out a 'do not' somewhere in there?" Marguerite stood now. "You wouldn't dare defile a corpse," her hand rose to her mouth as her eyes watered, "that disrupts the balance." Shuddering and borderline near hysterics Marguerite began to cry. Trying to figure this male out, she touched the part of his chest where his heart should be but she felt nothing. Suddenly a vision passed through her mind's eye.

Blood

Tearing of flesh

Incantations

A smiling family

Needles

Puppets

These visions bombarded the mind of the witch and she collapsed on the floor. Unconcious.

Adrasteia

Adrasteia monitored the pans, making sure that nothing was burning, and her lips quirked upwards after hearing that Yukito was doing better. That's a relief. However when he commented about the last time he'd seen her, she visibly flinched. At the same time she felt a pang in her chest and she placed a hand over where the sword had pierced through. How unpleasant. She clenched her hand into a fist and flashed him a forced smile.

Instead of answering about how she was, she scanned the food and noted that what she had cooked was ready. It wasn't much, really only enough to feed a small child, but the air was stifling and she needed out. "Ah, this is done so I'm going to bring it to the table, okay? I'll be right back in I swear. And this time I won't bring any crazy angels with me, hahaha..." Again she forced a happy expression and quickly piled the two pancakes onto a plate before walking quickly towards the door. However her shoulder caught on the door frame and she dropped the plate onto the floor where it broke. "Ah, I'm really sorry! I'll clean that up...jeez I keep breaking things." She laughed uncomfortably to herself as she knelt down and began to pick up pieces of plate.

Shocked that this girl he just met come and touched his chest and then collapsed onto the floor. "Great now needlessly I have to do something with her" Rehiem thought picking up the body he looked through her pockets and found her key after looking at the number he then put it in his pocket. "Isn't this just great carrying a body to it's room or should I run some tests hmmm so many choices" Rehiem thought as a sly smile crept onto his face. @Cold Coffee

Yukito Himura

Constantly going between the multiple different stoves as the innkeeper had placed different foods into each of the pans for everything to cook at the proper heat and such. Half of his attention had still been focused onto Adrasteia about how he had questioned her on the fact of how she was doing after what had happened last night to her. The silence from her clearly showed that she had indeed remembered what had happened and only proven more that it was something that was probably best not said. Cursing at himself mentally for bringing up something like that after just meeting her again after her death like so, Yukito remained silent for another minute while he continued his constant cooking throughout the kitchen. "My apologies...I shouldn't have brought it up." Letting those only words leave his lips as he simply gave a nod of his head once she had spoke about how she'd take the pancakes that she had prepared out to the dining room. While he had constantly continued his cooking and watching as to how the woman left for the exit of the kitchen before she had joked on not returning with raging angels, Yukito was unable to help himself but to let another chuckle leave his lips as he nodded in response to her joke. "Let's hope not." Right as the young innkeeper spoke, the immediate sound of a plate hitting the ground with a loud crash would've caused the dark haired male to turn his head over with a widened eyed expression as he only ended up finding that Adrasteia had dropped her plate along with the food she had prepared upon the ground accidentally.

With the sight of this, Yukito had wasted none of his time to immediately turn the stoves down onto low before heading his way over towards the woman as she spoke of how she'd clean up the mess that had been created on the ground from the two pancakes she made. Shaking his head before he'd allow his one of his guests and his small companion's friend to get hurt from touching fragments of the plates; the dark haired male would've kneeled himself to the ground simply to begin picking up the pieces of the broken plate into the palm of his hands just so that no one would accidentally step on them.
"Not a problem Miss..do not concern yourself with this. I can take care of this. Go ahead and get some rest or if not..Yuuki is in the next room if you want to go meet him. I shall prepare the food so that you and the others can eat." Speaking his mind, as he continued to collect the broken fragments of the plate; Yukito had made sure to try and keep Adrasteia from doing too much, although he had teased her with the joke earlier about helping making food, the innkeeper never minded working alone if that was what it meant to make everyone around him happy and safe.

Returning to his room Rehiem laid the young witch on the bed. Doll parts, Papers with symbols and magic what-nots on it lined the floor as well as the ceiling and walls human-like Puppets covered the room most broken. Rehiem gently pats her face "Wake up you had a accident" Rehiem whispered in her ear.

Adrasteia

giphy.gif
Adrasteia picked up the pieces of plate and laid them in a small pile in her lap, counting them to keep track. When Yukito kneeled by her and began to pick them up as well, she froze in what she was doing before turning to Yukito and placing both hands on his shoulder. She then gave him a gentle nudge backwards, keeping her head down as she spoke.

"It's fine! I can take care of it, you just cook, I can handle a little bit of broken plate." Although she spoke quietly, she sounded almost desperate to remain where she was. She kept pushing on his shoulder to urge him away, although without any real force behind it. To be perfectly honest she was on the verge of tears and she was seriously regretting coming back so soon, before anything had time to settle in, for the residents and for herself. She was afraid to see Yukki, and she didn't want to see the damage she had caused to the front of the inn, not to mention she hadn't laid eyes on Falin anywhere and was really concerned. Her hands and shoulders started to shake but she continued to push the innkeeper away. "I can handle it, I can..." She whispered although it was more like she was trying to convince herself and she wasn't sure she was talking about the plate anymore.

A cold breathe inside of Marguerite's ear made her awaken from one of her visions.At first she believed that she was in the same vision she had experienced earlier until she felt the eery feeling of all the souls with in the room. The young witch looked into the eyes of the pale man from the dining hall. She began to shake from fear. The broken dolls added a grotesque feel to the room and Marguerite had the sudden urge to scream but nothing came out. Her first instinct was to grab her trusty broom that seemed to be in the hall still. "BROOM!" The young witch cried out. She whipped her head around searching for escape until she recalled that she had a wand. Reaching into her pocket she felt her weapon and pointed it into the face of the man. "I don't know what you are, but what ever immortal thing that you are know that I can send you from this world into another just as quickly as I call upon my broom." Her voice wavered with these words because she wasn't sure if she could do that ritual on her own with only her wand.

@WhyNot

Rehiem gave a blank glare at Marguerite "If I wanted to harm you you'll be dead I just wanted to chat from where we left off, now would you like some tea" Rehiem asked. "I heard it calms the nerves which you should really should do now and again" Rehiem then said while sitting in his cushioned chair across the bed. @Cold Coffee

Sitting silently on the bed, Marguerite drew her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her knees. "I'll be fine thank you.." She breathed calming breathes, the way the witches of the grey had.

Suddenly the door started tapping. Slowly the tapping became agitating and the witch gave no care about her manners so she stood up and let her belongings into the room. First entered the broom, alert and seemed to be "Looking" for danger. Second her bag lazily floated in behind next to the grimoir. "Forgive my brash actions," the girl said, "you're a very... interesting person Reheim... I don't think it's in the good way unfortunately." She then resumed her position on the bed with her grimoir to her chest.

"What do you mean by that" Rehiem asked as the objects came into the room as Big ben came to his side. "It'll be alright" Rehiem said to it as he brushed it's arm.

An interesting night he had missed. Such a pity; Exrus did love a party. Besides, he was always the life of a party, despite being eternally undead. If he wasn't there, then how could the party be any fun? It couldn't be, is the short answer, and the answer he would give to your face.

Still, it was unwise to reveal himself fully until he was aware of his surroundings. So he simply waited in the shadows, darting to and fro as lighting changed and shadows moved. It wasn't overly difficult, although it did tug on his nerves when his fatigue began to grow, unable to sleep while keeping himself hidden. He was practically about to pass out, which would lead to his body awkwardly appearing under one of the tables, when he heard a bit of conversation that sparked his interest.

A man, by the name of Rahiem, had discussed briefly what had transpired the night before. To a young and clearly uneasy witch of all people, the one he had followed. Why does she get to have all the fun anyways? She's quite unremarkable... The girl yet again shocked Exrus when she passed out cold on the floor. His curiosity got the better of him once more, and when Rahiem lifted her, he darted from the tables shadows to the shadow of him, following through to the man's rather unsettling room.

The moment the witch awoke, he heard the clear disapproval of the Rahiem character's actions in her voice, although wavering. He moved to the back of the chair, his body slowly piecing itself back together after its hibernation, behind the now sitting man. His eyes were wide, staring at the witch, and his mouth revealed a beautiful set of teeth, accented by two sharp fangs.

"My daring... Marguerite was it? If you wish to threaten a man that claims to tamper with the balance of life and death, you must have more conviction in your voice." He chuckled and disappeared, slipping along the pathways until he appeared on the opposite end of the standoff (or sitoff, he supposed it could be called. He would have to work the details out later), now behind the witch.

"I hope your power extends beyond making your things fly" he teased, watching as the broom and bag floated about. "Because I promise you, things will get very exciting if it doesn't." He laughed and then clapped his hands together, clearly excited. "Oooo I can't wait! I hope they have popcorn here... with extra butter!" He smiled down at the witch, beaming with intensity that was almost overwhelming and creepy. "What kind of drink do you like to have when you watch people die? I fancy a mixture of blood and jager with just a hint of peach to really give it that lasting flavor." He reached into the dark recesses of his suit and pulled out another unmarked can, breaking the seal and sipping. "Unless you don't drink, in which case, what a shame." He didn't even bother speaking to Rahiem, finding that a being that tampered with death was not a man to befriend.

What if he made an undead that was cooler than he?

Yukito Himura

&

Yuuki

A53M3vN.png

Spending the time he had been kneeling before Adrasteia along with her as he had assisted her in picking up the broken pieces of the plate, Yukito had kept his usual smile across his lips the entire time. Although he may not had realized it immediately at hand, the way he had acted currently was almost as though he were nearly over protecting anyone he could at this point; simply because of the single death that he had experienced and him having no power whatsoever to stop it from happening, just the sight of the woman dying before his own eyes and his hands knowing they had the strength inside them to stop the angels from doing it only made him feel as though he should've blamed himself. All of this thought was immediately halted when the sudden touch of both of the woman's palms had pressed against his shoulders to try to push him back towards the stoves had caused Yukito to return his crimson gaze upon Adrasteia in shock for a mere moment when she stated that she could handle the plate and such. Staring at her for a mere minute or so in silence, the sight of how her head had been down as she spoke when she even stated that she could 'handle it' was clear enough that there was indeed something different about Adrasteia. Although Yukito could not fully remember his own past before he came to find himself on this mortal planet; this had not been the first time that the innkeeper had seen this face and heard of how people had spoken like this. The once warm smile that had been upon his lips had now faded into nothing more than a frown, as he soon stood to his own feet to follow the slight pushing of the woman touching his shoulders. Nodding his head for a second or so, he would only gently reach forward to place a single hand onto her shoulder as he whispered each of his words. "It'll be okay Adrasteia...We're all here for you...No one blames you for anything that happened.." As the male spoke, right after that; Yukito would do just as the woman said and immediately progress his way over towards the stoves to begin the cooking once more.

Spending his time making the food after the innkeeper had turned the stoves back up upon their heat. Yukito had finished up multiple dishes as he placed them all upon their proper plates and left them upon the counter so that he would be able to grab each of the items to bring them out to the dining room after he had fully prepared everything he needed to get ready. The young male hadn't wished to bother Adrasteia as much as she was already with how she had felt, he had simply wished to comfort her with the words he had stated to be honest; it wasn't like she had asked to try and kill Yukito to begin with or let alone do the damage to the inn in general. The angels had clearly demanded it of her and with how they had been the ones to kill her rather than having to have someone from the inn attack her in return; even she had tried to help Yukito in the end before she had been stabbed. It was highly doubtful that anyone had truly blamed her for anything in general that had occurred.

The entire time while within the dining room however, while the small fox creature had listened to the conversation that went on between the pale man and the woman named as Marguerite. Yuuki had been careful not to allow anything to get too out of hand unless it was clearly important. Even the words that Rehiem had stated about what had happened from last night to have caused the inn to be in the condition it had been in at the current moment had kept Yuuki silent. Soon enough, the last thing that the small creature had ended up expecting was the sight of how the woman had ended up passing out after touching the man's chest. With the sight of this, both of his violet hues widened in shock of what had just gone and happened just from the touch; turning to face Bel for a mere moment before looking over once more to find that Rehiem had carried off the body now; Yuuki had directed his small paw towards the direction the man was headed off to before trying to get the attention of Belarose about it. "Bel. That man. He's going to do bad things to her...I don't trust him..." Speaking up towards the common guest that was of the inn, before even letting or waiting for any action to be taken from anyone else; the small creature wasted none of his time to hop off and immediately follow after the pale man and the unconscious woman that he had carried with her towards his room.

Peaking in to listen to the conversation of what seemed to even be a second male within the room that Rehiem had carried the woman into; Yuuki had swayed his tail as he stayed at the doorway to listen in rather than barge completely in for the time being. The last thing the small fox wanted to do was end up having someone or something attack him when Yuuki barely knew the slightest thing when it came to fighting in general. However, if something were to get out of hand; it was sure as hell that the small creature was not going to let Rehiem end up turning someone into a puppet for his own gain like he had nearly tried to do with Adrasteia's corpse.

"Does anyone trust anything," she murmured, gazing out at the forest. Her eyes were slight glazed over indicating that she was in one of her 'Off' moods. When she got like this is was almost impossible to talk to her or reason with her. "Fire and ashes," she murmured quietly, staring at the blood stained edges of her dress.
