The Hunted Part 3: A New Threat Lies [Inactive]

"This cut was part of the plan" she said bluffing with a small giggle. She stood up brushing the dust off her clothes. The pain would start any minute. Whenever Alice gets hurts, it heals of course but the healing process is 100x more painful than the wound itself and she knew this. She quickly returned the sword back into her palm. She turned away from Lance, her back toward him.


"I.. Thanks for sparring with me.." She said before rushing into the house and into her room which was the attic. There were plenty of room in the house but Alice had already gotten used to her room in the attic, besides the slanted walls, Alice made the attic actually look like a normal room. She walked quickly down the hall and into her room. She laid in her bed as her wounds started to heal, and as they healed Alice bit into her pillow and screaming into it. No one had ever really seem Alice's healing process, they just saw her hurt than healed after she disappeared.

Lawrence saw Alice moving pretty fast towards the attic. He looked at Flare. He thought that those two should have some one on one time. "I'll be back in a moment you two." He headed towards the attic. He slowly walked his way towards the attic. He hadn't been up there since they moved in. He heard a muffled screaming. "Hey Alice you alright?"
 
Alice heard Lawrence's voice and she didn't want anyone to see her like how she was right now.


"Please... Go away.." She said in between huffs of breaths.


The cut on her cheek looked as if a small stream of smoke was coming out of one of the corners, this was the healing process. She grabbed on her sheets, her other hand still bloody and staining the white sheets. Alice had felt worse pain than this when she got hurt in the past but even so it still hurt.

Lawrence was relunctent base on how Alice asked him to leave. "Alright sorry to interrupt. I'll be down stairs if you need me." He walked back down stairs into the kitchen. He looked through the fridge. He said to himself. "Nice to know someone got Alice the ice cream." He pulled out a pizza he ordered yesterday. He sat at the counter. "I know I said this before. But what a day." He said to himself.
 
Alice laid under her covers once Lawrence left. She was curled in a ball, she was starting to regret sparring with Lance. It was fun, it was really but the pain isn't so fun.


Normally the process last only a few minutes but to Alice it feels as if they were hours.


"Please make it stop.. Please make it stop.." She said in a quiet voice to herself

Lance walked upstairs bored out of his mind,he had know clue what to do after he spared alAlice, so he walked upstairs to the attic to check on her."Hey you allright?"
 
Alice touched her cheek, it was healed completely but the pain still lingered. Next up was her hand, she could hear the sizzling of the skin healing. Painful..


Through all hard breathing and her heart beating loudly in her ears she wasn't able to hear Lance when he asked her the question

Lance appeared in front of Alice and repeated the question. Sat down in front of her."I didn't mean to hurt you"
 
Alice finally heard Lance, which came as a surprise. She peeked her head from the covers trying to put up a strong front. The fresh air felt nice and she looked at Lance who was sitting on the bed. She shook her head, "No you didn't hurt me.. My body is hurting itself.. Or rather I say healing.." She said looking down showing him her palm that was now healing. One corner was letting out a small stream of smoke just like her cheek was.


"See..? It's nothing for you to worry about though" Alice felt the pain rush through her body and mostly on her hand but she tried not to show it.

"Well I wanted to know if you wanted to go to the movies with me tonight?He asked hoping she would say yes.
 
Lance suddenly asked her a random question at the worst timing but Alice was flattered. She let out a small smile, "Yes, but only if you stay here with me until.." She raised her sizzling hand "this.. Is done" emphasizing the word 'this'
