Laikas didn't feel alone, he never did. He had always kept something with him, something he thought he could communicate with, an animal that he could understand and that could understand him. That is how he had come into the company of a small ferret that he had named Freya. He was walking around the outskirts of town, only a few dozen meters from it in fact on the edge of a small forest. The forest was like a home away from home for him, filled with animals that he had come to know and love; wolves, crows, ravens, rabbits, even bugs.

As he was walking along, Freya bounded beside him, running around him, full of energy. He smiled to himself; he'd look to personally befriend a wolf soon and maybe the two animals would get along. They'd be like siblings, all three of them. He stopped walking and crouched down, offering out his hand to Freya.

Freya stopped moving and turned to face Laikas before running up to his hand, onto it, up his arm and perching herself on his shoulder.

Laikas brought his right hand up and scratched her behind the ear gently and grinned slightly, "Let's go back to the town. I think we need a bit of money before we can get some lunch but that's not going to be a problem for you is it?"

Freya nodded and clearly enjoyed being scratched behind the ear before she held onto Laikas' shoulder as he started walking back towards town.

Jason looked at the stuff he had "collected" today, being actually quite proud of himself. He spent most of today mugging people and sneaking stuff out of Wal-Mart all day. He broke into a few cars and found himself a .357 magnum with a couple bullets along with a couple hundred bucks. Of course he couldn't afford better living conditions since he did live in an abandoned house that was scheduled for deconstruction next month. Luckily, he already figured out his next hiding spot, an old storm cellar close to a park that actually had showers. Jason had been breaking into people's houses to brush his teeth and take showers, since of course he didn't want to look suspicious with bad hygiene. He also took upon himself to make a few meals and "borrow" some food for the road from those same houses as well. The hygiene part would be taken care of since the park allowed it's visitors to use its showers and sinks, so the only real problems he would have would be eating and finding shelter.

He began planing out his next few moves to help support him for the next month, hearing rumors that all the rich people in town where going to have a fancy party next week. The rumors where that these people tipped big, and that the butlers went on vacation for months by receiving some many tips. If he good get a job up there, he would be set for quite sometime, probably allowing him to rent out an apartment for a good time. He packed the gun and some extra clothing into his backpack, and headed out for a nice walk around the city. There weren't too many people out today, and there didn't seem to be any familiar faces around either. He relieved a heavy sigh wandering if he should move city's again. "Just like the last three cities, this one seems to be going into a deep depression with how bad the economy is right now" he said to himself, witnessing all the homeless people that had to survive day and night like he did. He knew that they were all good people, and that they didn't deserve any of this. By why would he fight for someone else at this point? Why risk his life any further then he would have to? Because he knew if were to lose someone close to him, or if anyone he cared about got hurt. Jude would be coming out again, and he already feels guilty enough with the one murder he already had on his hands.

Ryuuto L was leaning in a wooden chair in his regular spot right next to the book shelf inside the somewhat giant Library, he smoothly flipped the fresh pages of a new book he was reading cleverly titled "Magic, Good or dangerous?" As he began to read and analyze the next page, the rays of the sun glinted on the window behind him providing enough light for reading, but not glaring. The cars speedily passed by the Library, the humming of there engines as they passed by, at the end of the book shelf was a plant that looked to not be taken care of as it dropped lazily towards the ground, some of its leafs dangled in frustration as if begging to be let down like children beg to be taken down from the buggy in Wal-mart. The old librarian woman was slowly, but elegantly sweeping at the entrance of the Library though Ryuuto could not see her doing it, however he heard the sound of the broom as it swept sluggishly across the carpet. Ryuuto finished the page he was on and swiftly swished the page over so he could read the next 2 pages, his eyes darted fast at every word before he hit the next page, Ryuuto sighed and closed the book before he slowly stood up from the old wooden chair, it moaned in response to the weight being lifted. He walked over to the book shelf and slipped the new book into its home before he scanned the shelves for more books that had recently arrived but found none, Ryuuto was always sad to see he had read every book in the library as soon as they got a new shipment. Ryuuto ran his hair through his some what fizzy blond hair as he made his was towards the front, the old lady thanked him like always for stopping by as he exited giving her a warming smile, he stretched taking a breath of fresh air as he started his way down the cracked side walk.

"Parabéns vai para as finais novamente, Vivian." said Vivian's parents. "Obrigado, mãe e pai." said Vivian. Vivian was relaxing in the hot tub, since all of that swimming made her tired.

The rough abrasion of the skateboard rubbed against Zeru's fingers as she peered down the high ramp. Her whitish-silver hair waved lightly against the breezes of the skies. All around her were clouds of all different shades; orange, yellow, blue, purple, white, etc. She gulped thinking about the ride down. "Not scared are ya?" a voice asked behind her. Zeru turned around to find a classmate of hers, Gus, a brown-haired, green eyed, smirky boy. Although he annoyed her, Gus was Zeru's best friend. "No," Zeru quickly snapped. She took one step forward once again to get a good look at the distance she had to travel. "Then do it," he teased. Feeling a mixture of annoyance and anger Zeru tightened her grip on her skateboard and placed it on the ground. She then stepped onto the skateboard and before Gus could say anything else she leaned herself off the edge.

The experience she felt was one mixed with breathtaking and thrill. The wind pulled against her face, her eyes began to water, and the colors of the clouds began to blur into one another. The speed at which she was going was inhumane. Soon the other end of the ramp was approaching closer but Zeru wasn't going any slower. She was actually going faster. Zeru began to feel herself screaming as she realized she couldn't stop. As a response she began crouching down and covering her face with her arms, preparing for a crash. But then suddenly as the wheels of the skateboard flew off the track she felt herself...flying. "I'm flying?" she asked herself. Then in the far distance she heard a voice, "Ms. Soratz!"

"Gus?" Zeru called out in confusion.

"Ms. Soratz! Wake up!" then darkness followed after the shouting.

The wind of a book being smacked onto a desk blew onto Zeru's face. From all the dust and dirt flying into her nose, Zeru coughed. "Ms. Soratz, this is the third time that you have fallen asleep in my class ever since school started. Once more and I will have you written up for detention," an angry looking woman threatened. The young white-haired girl just nodded and mumbled, "Yes ma'am." By this time the girl did not care about detention or not, all she wanted to do was get out of class.

"Hey Zeru, you should really get some rest at night," a voice said from behind her. Zeru turned around to see her best friend, Gus, there. "Oh hey Gus I didn't realize we had this class together!" Zeru exclaimed. "Zeru...really...it's been three weeks already," he sighed. "Oh has it? I haven't noticed...all I know is that everyday I dread school," she complained. Gus rolled his eyes but had a small smile tugging on his lips. "So tell me what was Ms. Finglestink lecturing about now?" Zeru asked. "Just about the importance of Shakespearean writing," Gus murmured. "Bleh," was the only response the young girl had. Gus giggled softly and returned his attention to the book in front of him. The same book rested in front of Zeru, but is has remained untouched. The white-haired girl refused to read and obey, but eventually as the minutes passed and there was nothing for her to do she resigned and opened the book. The eyes of Ms. Fingleink spotted the girl as she opened the book and called upon her, "Ms. Soratz if you may, please read page 134."

Zeru sighed but began reading out loud the words on the page, not registering a single thing being said out of her mouth.

Masaki had just woken up, luckily for him, his school had started their holidays. So whilst everyone else was at school, he had the luxury of relaxing at home and doing absolutely nothing, but instead, he was going to go to work. Masaki quickly jumped out of bed and put on some clothes as he then went into the bathroom to brush his teeth, wash his face, and get ready for the day ahead. When he was finished, he quickly rushed down stairs to great his Aunt, who was sat at the table in the kitchen reading her magazine. His Uncle was at work, so his Aunt would be alone for the day which meant she would be able to do nothing. She liked doing nothing.

Masaki then quickly put his shoes on and headed to the front door, bringing his mobile, his wallet and his house keys, as well as his earphones. "See you later!" He called as he then opened the door and left the house, entering the big wide world. Masaki walked the streets with his earphones in and his hands in his pockets. The walk to the garden centre was calming, a nice quiet walk, not many people were out. But that's because they were either at school or heading to work, just like he was.

As soon as he got there he signed in at the sign-in notice on the reception desk and headed out back, where all the plants in storage were kept. "Ah, Today will be a good day.." He said to himself as he began to do his job, he started by watering the plants and helping the higher-ups organise the shipments.

Eruna Suzumiya

Eruna was in a deep sleep dreaming. She didn't realize that her alarm had been going off for the last 10 mins. Then suddenly she sat up with arms straight out front of her and looked at the time. Her eyes widen. "I'm late!!!!!" She jumped out of bed, and ran to the bathroom. After she was washed she ran out of the bathroom with her towel wrapped around her and headed back to her room and put her school uniform on, with her own flare of course. Then she grabbed her book bag and ran down stairs heading to the car until suddenly she felt someone grab her by the back color of her uniform. She blinked. "Huh?" She turned her head to see her mother. "Where do you think you are going?" Her mother asked. "To school mom! Let me go!" She said trying to fight her grasp. "Not until you eat all of your breakfast." She dragged her to the table and sat her down. "But mom I'm going to be late!" Her mother just sat down calmly. "You may leave when all your food is gone from your plate." Eruna breathed in and ate as fast as she could.

Which was pretty fast. Then she showed her mom her empty plate. "You may go." Eruna speed to the car and Tom was already waiting for her. "Late as usual I see." Eruna just hugged him. "Morning Tom now come on lets go go go!" Her mother came to the door before he could pull away. "Tom! Don't drive to fast!" She yelled out then she went back int the house. Tom started driving but it was really slow. "Tom what are you doing?! xD I'm going to be late again and get in trouble!! xD " Tom kept driving at the same speed. "Eruna I have to make sure your safe at all times don't worry we'll get to school." he smiled. "No we won't give me the wheel!" She reached over the wheel trying to drive and Tom was trying to push hero out of the way. The car was going all over the place. It was amazing they weren't crashing.

Joanna has just finished her part-time shift at the hair salon. The salon wasn't that far from her college. Now a junior in college, she needs to start making a living on her own, while still keeping a check on her parents. Her parents often needed to go purchase food as much as four times in a week. With Joanna making her own money now, she lead a helping hand to the people she holds most dear. After a session of classes, Joanna ran as fast as her legs can carry her to the supermarket. She always made a promise to herself to buy little snacks that can hold her parents off from shopping so much. If she had enough money, she can buy necessities for herself, but her shelves in her own home are doing well as of now.

She drove her car up to her parents' house, walking through the front door. "Hey mom. Hey dad." She called out, hearing the shuffle of footsteps upstairs. After offering the food, she kissed her mother on the cheek and hugged her father before heading off again. Today is going to be a busy day.

Alyssa was three steps outside of her first period class when the bell rang. It was still ringing when she walked in. The teacher didn't notice. She slunk over to a seat by the windows, sighing quietly with relief. It didn't take long for class to start, and she pulled out a binder to start taking notes. She bit her lip as the teacher went over a more complicated math concept.

She had a question, a good one. Just one thing that she was sure would make the whole concept unravel in her head. But these things aren't so simple. She fought her drilled in instinctive 'don't look at me' reaction to raise her hand. Come on, she thought as the teacher kept talking. Please see me.

Then the teacher called on her. After a moment of silence when Alyssa fought to make sound to come out of her mouth, she managed to get out her question. Her relief was so sharp that she almost missed her hard-earned answer. The teacher went back to her lesson, but Alyssa let it wash over her in her grim satisfaction. Mom and Dad would be proud of her initiative. She was improving. That was what mattered.

The bell rang soon, sending her to the depths of the school gym, but Alyssa almost didn't notice it. She'd spoken up. She did it.

After about five minutes, Laikas came to the edge of the town glancing around as cars and people went by; they generally ignored him and he didn't mind, human company was lack luster at best, or so he thought. He stepped into the street, opposite the school, and glanced aside at someone before he looked to his left shoulder, at Freya. He nodded towards her, knowing she would know what to do.

Freya knew what she had to do and as Laikas lowered his arm she ran down it onto the pavement. She started running around the street, dodging feet until eventually she saw a wealthy business man. She darted towards him and ran up his leg and before he could react she was in his pocket. By the time he knew what was happening, she was already back on the pavement again, about $20 in her mouth and she was darting back to Laikas. Flustered, the business man quickly checked his pocket and, seeing his wallet was still there, he let out a relieved sigh.

Laikas grinned to himself as he saw Freya running back to him and crouched down at the side of the pavement, taking the money from her and petting her gently before picking her up and perching her on his shoulder. He put the money in right pocket and looked to cross the road, glancing at the school and then looking for a restaurant or a cafe near it.

Jason continued walking down all the streets in search of anything interesting, he had recently started school again, not wanting the cops catching someone as young as him wandering around during school hours. It took him a while to set things up with his fake idea and his fake "parents" he hired to help him with his interview to set things up. The two people he hired were people that he's done robberies with in the past, since the two owed him a favor, he was able to have a set of parents that made his imaginary family seem somewhat normal. It was a long shot, but he was eventually accepted into the school allowing him to seem like a normal kid. Today would have been the first day he was late, he didn't really care but he knew he would eventually need to hurry. He turned the corner to see that the school wasn't very far, the tan colored school didn't look so good nowadays. With the school going bankrupt nearly twice already, it was amazing that the school was still up and now being forcefully shut down. He began to softly scratch the back of his head, realizing that he should have been sleeping more instead of mugging people.

It was only then that he heard something in the distance. He turned around to see a black car going on and off of their side of the lane, almost as if the driver was fighting someone.....or just drunk. It seemed to try to stable itself which made Jason very confused. "What in the actual fu...." his sentenced got cut off when the vehicle made its way only the side walk forcing Jason to quickly jump out of the way from being it. He ended up tripping and landing on his back, making him hit his the back of is head on the concrete. He wasn't a hard fall sense his backpack and his sense of balance made it to where he didn't hit it so hard. But nevertheless, the crap stung like hell. He grunted as he began to rub swore part on the back of his head and slowly got up into a sitting position. "Seriously, what the hell just happened" he said to himself trying to process the event that nearly killed him.

Eruna stop fighting Tom when she noticed a guy laying on the ground. She rolled down the window and put her head out the window and yelled out, "Sorry!! didn't mean

to hit ya!" She waved and smiled then got back in the car as Tom started fussing at her. "Jeez Tom if you would just go faster so I wouldn't be late that would never had happen!" She sang. Tom sighed as he pulled up into the school. "Well maybe if you would get up on time we wouldn't have to rush." He stop the car so she could get out. "Don't forget you have to film today." Eruna opened the door and got out of the car. "I know I know. Well see ya Tom!" She smiled then shut the door. Then she ran into the school with full speed leaving a trail of dust behind her. Tom shook his head. "That girl sure is something else. He drove off as Eruna headed to her locker.

The divine sound of the school bell ringing brought fake tears to Zeru's eyes. "Alas! I can, without punishment, leave this classroom!" the white-haired girl exclaimed as she slammed her book shut and marched out of the room with a sly smile and a wink towards Ms. Fingleink. An inhumane shriek could be heard after the girl as she exited the classroom. Gus came jogging up to her, giggling at Ms. Fingleink's reaction. "You seriously tick off Ms. Fingleink," Gus commented. "I know I do," Zeru smiled. She made her way over to her locker and punched it open. Sliding her books and backpack in since gym was next, Zeru looked over towards a junior who was basically jogging in place as she opened her locker.

"Hey Gus."

"Yeah?"

"Who's that junior again?"

The brown haired boy looked towards the direction Zeru was pointing at, an orange-haired girl.

"Oh her? That's Eruna Suzumiya, she's part of the film club," Gus answered.

"Huh, I did not know that. I have her in my gym class."

"And you didn't know her name?" Gus sighed.

"I'm trying. Well now I'm trying," Zeru retorted back as she shut her locker and began making her way towards the gym. Before she got any farther she turned back and waved to Gus, "See ya in lunch." All she saw was the back of her friend and a hand raised in the air to indicate he heard her. A small smile crept up her face as she continued walking in the opposite direction from Gus, towards the gym.

Ryuuto L was walking when he seen the black car swerve all around, ryuuto hurried over to the small kid who seems to be ok, he stopped little ways away as he did not want to get close yet. "Are you alright? " Ryuuto asked with some care in his voice as he examined the pavement for blood but seen none, Ryuuto sighed letting his worry out. "As long as you are fine il leave you alone." Ryuuto also says not wanting to sound like he is butting in to much.

When Alyssa got to the gym, she was the third person there. The bleachers were opened up because the first day meant that the gym teachers just told them the rules and assigned lockers. Alyssa chose a seat about halfway up the bleachers on the side where the door was so that she could see her fellow students walk in.

Being a senior this year, she would share her classes with the sophomores. This year she had Mr. Lisbone for gym. It wasn't that bad, but she'd heard that the man sometimes assigned tons of laps for imagined slights. Better than Mr. Haganson. The less said about the sadistic "Happy Haganson" the better.

It didn't take long for students to come piling in. Darcy Reina, Keighley Pearson and Robert Barry; the Illington twins and Brianna Yeldon, Theodore Dorsey and Harry Roper, Jeannie Ession, a fellow senior, a sophomore named she Zeru Soratz and a freshman named William Aldine. More walked in and Alyssa closed her eyes to let the sounds wash over her. She hoped someone would come sit by her, because she had no idea how to approach someone else like this.

Masaki sighed, wiping sweat from his forehead. He had been running around like a headless chicken for at least an hour, helping customers, giving them recommendations for plants to purchase. After five minutes or so, it was time for his break. He was worn out. He quickly went outside to the front of the garden centre so she could cool down and get some fresh air. Water bottle in hand, he leaned up against the wall and let out a sigh. "Today sure is busy..." he said, speaking quietly to himself. Taking a mouthful from his water bottle, he looking around, even more customers seemed to be bombarding into the building.

Masaki walked back into the building as his break had finished, he went back into the building and headed out back to the storage room. To continue on with his job. He looked up at the clock, "One hour left of my shift..." with a determined look on his face, he picked up the watering can was was eager to water every plant in the whole building before leaving.

After Vivian and her family were done relaxing at the spa, they went to the flower shop, since they wanted to give Vivian, some flowers as a graduation gift for going to the finals in the olympic again. Vivian saw a boy watering some flowers, so she slowly walked towards him, since for some reason, she felt like wanting to help him. "Um...excuse me, but do you need some help with watering those flowers?" said Vivian shyly.

Being a college student, Joanna has plenty of projects and homework assignments she needs to complete to earn a degree. She wants to earn a degree in a Science major. She arrived to a Junior exclusive class a few minutes before the bell rang. Since it was the first day of college, the teacher began to review items from what she learned in freshman year. The first week will purely be review for the class. In Joanna's mind, college was a bit boring, but there are some teachers who try to spice up some entertainment in the lessons.

Laikas saw the small group of people gathering around another individual. He'd seen the accident occur, but he didn't want to act; human affairs should be left to humans and not left to him. He sighed and glanced at his shoulder at the ferret perched on his shoulder, and Freya didn't respond. Laikas shrugged and crossed the road, looking both ways before he did so. Cars were terrifying things that shouldn't have been invented; metal beasts that had too much power and could kill anything. And they did it soullessly, which made him shiver.

Coming to the other side of the road, Laikas took a glance at the group and looked at Freya with a slight nod. He crouched down and Freya ran down his arm onto the pavement and bounded down to the group.

As he was watering the flowers, Masaki kept an eye on the clock, he was determined to complete his little...challenge. And by the looks of it, he was going to. He began to talk to himself, "I wonder what else will happen today... I mean, so far it's been pretty boring.." Masaki sighed and then turned as he heard a voice, and a girl approaching him. It was automatically awkward, he didn't know if she had heard him speaking to himself or not. Masaki looked at the girl and smiled at her, "In all honesty, I don't think you'd be allowed... That is under usual circumstances at least. The manager wouldn't like someone doing my job who isn't an employee here." He smiled at her again, "But, he is on leave so he won't know. You can help if you want, there should be a watering can by the desk over there." He nodded in that direction. Masaki then turned to face the girl, "Since you've come here, I assume you've come to purchase some flowers? If that's the case then take a look.. I could even give you some recommendations if you'd like?" He smiled at the girl and then continued to do his job.

@Blackrose7

"Yes. I am here with my parents, so we can buy some flowers and oh." said Vivian, as she started to frown, when she heard him saying that she isn't aloud to do this. Vivian didn't hear him talking to himself, and she then started to smile as soon as he said that his manager is leaving. Vivian grabbed the watering can that is by the desk, and started to water the plants with the boy. "I don't mind if you give me some recommendations, and my name is Vivian. You also don't have to tell your manager about this, since I don't want you to end up being in trouble." said Vivian. 'This feels oddly familiar.' thought Vivian, since she felt like she had done this before with someone, but she can't remember it clearly.

Jason was still rubbing his head when he eventually heard someone ask him if he was alright. He looked up to see a unfamiliar face, a tall blonde man stood a few meters away from him, obviously seeing the incident that occurred. Jason didn't want to be seem like he was in total pain, making it seem like it was nothing big "Yeah I'm fine, crazy guy just needs to watch where he's driving" he said still rubbing his head. He looked over to see that the car had stopped in front of the school building, making it obvious that the girl also went to the same school as he did. Man this towns just full of nut jobs and weirdos he thought to himself slowly getting up and brushing himself off.

"Anyway, thanks for the concern, but I should be able to make. The names Ja.....I mean.....the names Christopher"
he said quickly catching himself before saying his real name. Although nothing would be suspicious about being named Jason, the whole problem is that his fake idea has his name as Christopher instead. He wasn't sure why he was so comfortable around this guy, so relaxed that he almost gave away his real name. "So anyway, if you don't mind me asking. Whats your name?" he said curiously, wondering who he was and why he feels so comfortable around the guy.

Masaki listened to the girl speak and nodded. "Where are your parents then? Are they waiting outside for you or something?"

He smiled at her, for some odd reason, it was like he knew her. Obviously he didn't, but he felt at ease. He simply dismissed that bizarre thought and continued to water the plants. When the girl introduced herself as Vivian, he looked at her, letting out a kind smile and saying. "Nice to meet you Vivian... My name is Masaki, Masaki Yamada". After introducing himself, he looked at the clock. With the help of Vivian, he had managed to water all of the plants. He smiled feeling happy that he beat his challenge and looked at the girl. "If you'd follow me, I can how you my recommendation. It truly is a beauty." With that, he took Vivian to an area that housed many kinds of exotic and pretty plants , he turned to her and said, pointing to one of the flowers. "This flower is called the Glowing Dahlia, it's not the rarest I must admit, but in my opinion, it is by far the prettiest. I managed to keep them healthy myself. Anyway, I think these flowers are just right for you.. And since you helped me, you can take a bunch for free if you wanted. Usually they are very expensive "He smiled, and then admired the flowers as he waited for her answer

Ryuuto L watched this kids feeble attempts at trying to make him not worry and decided not to press that issue anymore, he was just about to leave when 'Christopher' asked for his name. He did not feel particularly threatened by the kid so he decided to give him his name. "My name is Ryuuto, I don't remember my last name." Ryuuto said as he got a headache trying to recall his last name, it happened every time he wanted to know about his past, the doctors told him that he had hit his head really hard when he was younger so his memory was missing from his child hood. Ryuuto decided not to bother the kid anymore as he walked past 'Christopher' and continued on his way down the street looking for something to do before he had to go back to his house. Something about the kid made him wait before leaving to see if he was going to ask him something else, Ryuuto could not pin point it, but for some reason he felt a connection between the two of them.
